I was recently given Eberjey’s Fanny bralette and boy short to review.  This collection (also image top and below) is my favourite within Eberjey’s current range – soft jersey pieces created in black and French vanilla with ruffles and lace… add in a little retro styling and this collection is perfect for weekend lounging. It’s very soft and the cut of the short is incredibly flattering.

I am often asked for recommendations for loungewear, especially around this time of year as we head towards Christmas gift season.  Eberjey’s have a large collection of chemises (another favourite of mine is the chemise from the Adelaide collection, below) which are absolutely worth a look.  From the number of fashion collections they offer on their website you’ll be spoilt for choice!

Also worth a look is the Eberjey Basics Collection.  I’m putting together some of my favourite basics for a lingerie feature in the near future and the Pima Goddess Bra will be on the list. If you’re looking for a soft cup, uber-flattering cut plunge bra – you need this in your intimate wear wardrobe*.

It is an exciting time for Bellissima – we are absolutely thrilled to be launching our new blog at the same time that our new store opens for the 2012 season! Our new store, located on Dune Drive between 25th and 26th Streets in Avalon, New Jersey, opens this weekend and we could not be more delighted to have you join us! A lot of hard work has been put into this store by the staff at Bellissima, but there are so many that helped to make our dream a reality. We would like to thank Matt Pappas from Brandywine Developers  for the construction of our new store; Mike Dewald of Hang Ten for the beautiful paint job, which we should call artwork; and Maria Toczylowski from Beach Dwellings Design  for the interior design and decoration to make the store look perfect. We would also like to thank our awesome new neighbors, Closet Boutique and The Preppy Palm, for welcoming us with open arms! Most importantly, we would like to thank every single family member, friend and loyal customer who helped us through this process. Your outpouring of love and support is truly what made our new space become Bellissima’s new home.
