Well procrastination has won out once again ladies & gentleman.  For the fifth year in a row I planned to send out Christmas cards and for the fifth year in a row I find my self well past my deadline saying to “Oh shit.  It’s to late to send those out isn’t it.”  If you haven’t gotten a card from us in the last half decade it’s not that we don’t want you as friends it’s just….well…..I get distracted easily and….

Sorry.  I’m back.  That Priceline commercial with William Shatner grabbed my attention.  Where was I?  Oh yes, I get distracted easily sometime things slip through the cracks.  Christmas cards just happen to one of my favorite things to put on the back burner until it’s to late. 

But thanks to this blog I can still send out our holiday greeting.  THERE IS STILL HOPE.  God bless the inter-web.  Plus this way we’re helping the environment by not having to use trees for envelopes, a gas guzzling mail cart dosn’t need to pick up the card, toxic glues don’t have to be put on the stamp………not buying it huh? 

Ya’ you got me.  I was sort of hoping “going green” would be a better excuse than “Oops I forgot”

I printed out the Eric and Melissa cartoons I made so we could turn them into ornaments on our tree.  Then I was going use that as the backdrop for our Christmas card.

Paper Melissa almost burst into flames from being placed on a light.

Berti e la Festa del Ringraziamento

Amo molto questa festa americana, ogni anno penso che sarebbe molto bello se anche le famiglie italiane avessero un giorno dedicato a ringraziare il buon Dio per tutto quanto hanno avuto nel corso di un intero anno.

Di solito la mia famiglia trova un momento di unione per celebrare questa ricorrenza anche se negli ultimi anni abbiamo fatto tanti sforzi per trovare la quanto di buono ci poteva essere in tutto quanto  ci è accaduto.

Quest’anno è un’altra cosa..
