<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>I thought it would be a good idea to bring for all you guys a short picture review of all the hot metal from the Essen Motor show in Germany. I should have been there but unfortunately a lack of money lately meant I happily surfed the net from home. <p>The EDO tuning house decided that the Ferrari Enzo was a bit slow so they fitted some FXX bits to it to make a 700 horsepower monster.</p>

<p>The Brabus B63 S, a Mercedes E63 AMG on steroids &#8211; 555bhp and a top speed of 200 mph from this sensible german saloon.</p>

<p>This Ford GT has been given a makeover by Geiger and some striking new paint. This rocket has 790 bhp and as a result it can crack 100km/h in 3,6 seconds but more importantly it has been given new tires and suspension for better handling.</p>

<p>Brabham racing showed up with this tuned BMW 3-series which, apparently, turns out 455 bhp and has a top speed of 300kph. It is a car we don&#8217;t know so much about.</p>

<p>Porsche maniacs at 9ff managed to get 850  HP  and 920  Nm of torque out of this 911 GT2 which is just stunning. You can actually choose your top speed &#8211; the guys will make 5th and 6th gear longer or shorter depending on what you want. Aerodynamic modifications are present as well so this car should handle amazingly. It is definitely my favourite car of the lot.</p>

<p>Hamann non si concede nemmeno un giorno di riposo tra un&#8217;elaborazione e l&#8217;altra; così ci presenta un piccolo assaggio di quella che sarà la sua prossima rivisitazione della fiammante Ferrari California.</p>

<p>Fin&#8217;ora si tratta solo del nuovo set di cerchi in lega e delle nuove finiture interne.</p>
<p>Per i cerchi sono stati studiati gli Edition Race da 21&#8243; di diametro di colore scuro con una circonferenza bianca tutt&#8217;intorno. Il design delle razze è tipicamente Hamann.</p>
<p>Per gli interni si sa che ogni cliente potrà personalizzare a sui piacimento la sua Ferrari sfruttando le innumerevoli proposte Hamann in questa direzione.</p>
<p>Per ora l&#8217;elaborazione si ferma qui (la carrozzeria e il motore sono come usciti dagli stabilimenti Ferrari) anche se si è quasi sicuri che modifiche meccaniche ed estetiche arriveranno presto.</p>
<p>Staremo a vedere quale tra Edo Competition e Hamann la spunterà nell&#8217;elaborazione della California&#8230;</p>

<p>Splendida già si suo, con qualche ritocco diventa una vera bestia. Soprattutto se il tuner annovera nel curriculum preparazioni ai modelli più spinti di Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati e Porsche.</p>

<p>Penso che sia una delle prime preparazioni che ho il piacere di recensire per un fatto piuttosto inconsueto: la carrozzeria e le appendici aerodinamiche della vettura non sono state modificate da installazioni di alcun genere&#8230; Sottoscrivo in pieno questa decisione. Quando si ha a che fare con una Continental GT Speed bisogna stare attenti a dove mettere le mani per non rovinare uno stile così &#8220;sportlussuoso&#8221;!</p>
<p>La differenza la fa la nuova tinta: sopra alla colorazione candida spicca un nero opaco che copre cofano motore, tetto e bagagliaio e che ottimizza l&#8217;effetto ottico di sportività generale dell&#8217;assetto della vettura.</p>
<p>Sul propulsore si è lavorato tantissimo: dai 610 CV originari sprigionati dal V12 6.0 litri si arriva a 680 e 880 Nm di coppia massima. Tutto ciò si dice sia stato ottenuto sostituendo &#8220;solamente&#8221; centralina elettronica e sistema di scarico! L&#8217;assetto è stato rivisto e l&#8217;altezza da terra abbassata di 30mm così come sono stati montati nuovi cerchi da 20&#8243; con pneumatici <span>&#8220;Sport Contact V-Max&#8221;. </span></p>
<p><span>Le prestazioni parlano da sole: oltre 340 km/h di massima e 3.7 da 0 a 100 km/h le permettono di star dietro alla miglior Murciélago. Naturalmente il peso complessivo è stato alleggerito dalle oltre 2 tonnellate iniziali.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana;" lang="EN-US">The German tuner’s package includes a power increase to around 700Hp thanks </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;" lang="EN-GB">to new exhaust headers like the ones found on the Ferrari FXX; a high-flow catalytic converter; a performance muffler; a modified intake with ram-air system; high-flow air filters and ECU recalibration. A lot of upgrades for a mere 40Hp more if you ask us… Edo Competition says that the tunned Enzo goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62mp) in 3.5 sec and on to a top speed of 370 km/h or 230 MPH. <span style="font-size:85%;"><strong><em>-</em></strong></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>Edo Competition nunca anda con tonterías. Ya habíamos visto la vez pasada que había armado una Ferrari Enzo, y esta vez, para no ser menos, se decidió a preparar un Lambo Gallardo.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>Tal como sucedió con la Enzo, esta maquina no sufrió cambios en la carrocería (sería una estupidez retocar ese aspecto del auto) y como ya resulta bastante normal, se ocupo de trabajar tanto el moto como el interior de auto de la fabrica italiana.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>Así es como el motor V10 de 5,0 litros fue retocada para aumentar en 30 caballos su potencia, dando como resultado 560 CV a 8.250 rpm. Gracias a esos retoques, la velocidad final del auto fue subida en 6 kilómetros, y si bien no parecen mucho, cuando se lo lleva a la máxima velocidad (320km/h), da verdaderos escalofríos.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>Otros datos para tener en cuenta: Este Gallardo hace 0-100km/h en tan solo 3,6 segundos. Las llantas son de 19”, y están calzadas sobre unos neumáticos 245/35 ZR adelante y 305/30 ZR atrás. Otro dato para nada despreciable es que la suspensión fue bajada en 15 milímetros. Por ultimo, y quizás una de las<span> </span>cosas más llamativas de esta joyita, es que el escape fue modificado para que se pueda reducir o aumentar el volumen del mismo a distancia!. Nada mal, no?</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;font-family:arial;">El motor Ferrari 6.0 V12, fue llevado de 651 caballos hasta los 700 burros que le permiten hacer 0-100km/h en 3,5 segundos, y llegar a los 300km/h en tan solo 22 segundos con una velocidad final de nada menos que 370km/h.</p>

También fue mejorada la transmisión, fue cambiada la refrigeración, se renovaron los filtros de aire y el silenciador y fue reprogramado todo el sistema electrónico.</p>

De auto krijgt er 60 pk bij door een ander uitlaatsysteem. Veel verbetering was ook niet mogelijk, want de fabrieksversie heeft al 550 pk aan boord dankzij een 5,4-liter V8 met supercharger. Het maximum koppel van de nu dus 610 pk sterke motor ligt op 800 Nm.De prestaties zijn nog iets indrukwekkender dan die van het gewone model: de auto sprint in 3,7 seconden van 0 tot 100 kilometer per uur en de topsnelheid ligt door de aanpassingen boven de 340 kilometer per uur.Andere veranderingen die Edo Competition aanbrengt zijn een subtiele achterspoiler en koolstofvezelbekleding van de motorruimte. </strong><br /><strong>Een speciale vermelding verdient het uitlaatsysteem, waarvan de geluidssterkte handmatig kan worden aangepast.</strong></p>
