Amidst the incessant rains, floods and the hype about the movie, I went to watch it though it was drizzling in my hometown. Considering the movie was released recently and it being a Friday evening, I anticipated some crowd at the box office. So we reached 20mins before show time. Though the movie sported names of veteran actor Kamal Hassan, and Venkatesh – the all time hit-getter in Andhra, there were not more than a bunch of people buying tickets. By the time the show began, there were less than thirty fellows who shared the theatre hall with us.

Considering the fact that the movie was a remake of ‘A Wednesday’ starring Naseer-Uddin-Shah, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Sheirgill among others, one would anticipate that Eenadu not only matched the finesse of ‘A Wednesday’ but surpassed it in areas where the latter fell short of. But alas, I would not have to think twice to mention that ‘Eenadu’ was a damp squib in all departments of film making.

Cast: Kamal Hassan (The Common Man), Venkatesh (Police Commissioner), Lakshmi (CM’s Chief Secretary), Ganesh Venkatram (Arif), Bharat Reddy(Gautam).

Story: Neeraj Pandey (original for A Wednesday).

Music: Shruthi Hassan (Debut).

Screenplay & Direction: Chakri Toleti.

Story: The plot was more or less the same as that in A Wednesday, but for a few changes that make it native to Hyderabad (Mumbai for ‘A Wednesday’). The story opens with the introduction of a ‘Common Man’ who drops in at the police station to report his missing purse. The story also ends with the police commissioner meeting this common man in person and letting him go after what he has done.

But what disappointed me was the fact that though Kamal and Venkatesh are capable of cutting edge performances, this movie harnessed less than 50% of the grace they could lend to their respective characters.

What was more disappointing?

1. Background score:
   • Shruthi Hassan, who has been hyped lately as one starlet who is multi talented (movie direction, writing, acting, modeling and now music making) could not render much character to Eenadu. This was one area where I thought ‘A Wednesday’ could take improvement. But compared to what was on Eenadu, music on ‘A Wednesday’ was far better.
   • At places, the music felt very immature and inappropriate. For example, near the climax when the commissioner goes out of his office to meet the so called Common Man, the music attempts to glorify the authority of the character and the triumph it just achieved. But it fails miserably.
2. Though it is only a 1.5hr movie, I see that there was a lot of time wasted.
   • For example, the arguments with the Chief Secretary about red tape and –who’s-to-take-the-blame if the situation goes out of hand — discussion.
3. Bringing in irrelevant and unnecessary aspects:
   • I felt that showing people in the government as cowards and that a police commissioner is no more than a glorified watchman was completely unnecessary. This aspect of either character did neither add value not take away any merit from the situation central to the story line.
4. Arif the tough police man:
   • ‘A Wednesday’ depicts Arif as a maverick policeman who cares less for anything else other than his ways of getting things done. The first scene where Arif (Jimmy Sheirgill) is introduced in ‘A Wednesday’ was enough to clearly depict what this fellow was. On the other hand, Arif (Venkatram) in Eenadu was far from convincing. The guy appeared mad.
5. Misses and gaps in the story-telling:
   • Arif chases the fellow who supplies RDX and reaches the address of the buyer only to find that there was none there. We had no idea that the commissioner was fallowing this operation, but Arif calls him up and says ‘There’s none here’. Where?
6. The TV crew has no role to play:
   • ‘A Wednesday’ shows the news reporter as a potential accessory for the perpetrator to follow how his scheme was materializing. So was she shown in Eenadu. What was so unlikely for a TV9 reporter here was the confidence this lady exhibits. Diction especially was poor by any standards.

To sum it up, as a movie goer, I was completely disappointed with Eenadu in all aspects. Kamal Hassan is a fine actor, and so is Naseer. The grace Naseer lends to the character in ‘A Wednesday’ is no where to be seen from Kamal in Eenadu. Anupam Kher did his homework well; he was the closest fit for the role of a commissioner, graceful and authoritative. Venkatesh’s role was rather dramatic and lacked the vigor and command that a Police Commissioner exhibits; or perhaps this was not his cup of tea. If I were to choose, I would put Prakash Raj for the role.

We can give it to Shruthi Hassan because this was her debut as a music director. But in the department that most important for a movie of this kind, Screenplay and Direction, Chakri Toleti has a long way to go. For Eenadu, every thing in this department looked half baked.

Dubbing was patchy; lip sync takes a miss at several places.

Eenadu will disappoint if you have admired ‘A Wednesday’. Eenadu will still disappoint you even if you have not seen ‘A Wednesday’.

The Indian edition of Campaign has brought out a booklet called “The A List”, supposedly the who’s who in media, marketing and advertising, in partnership with NDTV Media.

And the sloppy, incomplete and typo-ridden effort is remarkable for how predictable and boring most A-listers are: the most-admired politician—surprise, surprise—is Mahatma Gandhi, almost everybody’s favourite device is the Blackberry™, etcetera.

Still there are a few trends to be spotted:

# Most owners have a marked inclination not to reveal more of themselves. The Times of India’s Samir and Vineet Jain; Dainik Bhaskar’s Sudhir Agarwal; India Today’s Aroon Purie; Network 18’s Raghav Bahl; NDTV’s Prannoy and Radhika Roy; Sun TV’s Kalanidhi Maran; India TV’s Rajat Sharma; Hindustan Times‘ Shobhana Bharatiya et al haven’t bothered to fill up the form.

# The list is so Bombay-Delhi centric that it would seem that the South and East of India are in some other country. Result: India’s biggest publications like Malayala Manorama, Ananda Bazar Patrika, Eenadu, Dina Thanthi, have no representation in a 100-rupee booklet that claims to represent “our entire ecosystem” (editor Anant Rangaswami’s description).

# The new media goes almost completely unrepresented but for the presence of blogger Amit Varma, and many (Mid-Day’s Tarique Ansari, NDTV’s Raj Nayak) admit they are technologically challenged.

# In a list teeming with people born in small-town India (Meerut, Madurai, Rohtak, Ratlam, Dhanbad, Kanpur, Karur, Manipal, Varanasi), many were born elsewhere: Business India founder Ashok Advani born in Hyderabad (Sindh); Outlook editor-in-chief Vinod Mehta, Rawalpindi; India Today proprietor Aroon Purie, Lahore, and COO Mala Sekhri, London; CNBC’s Senthil Chengalvarayan, Kandy, Sri Lanka; A.P. Parigi, ex-Radio Mirchi head, Colombo; Vaishnavi Communications’ Neera Radia, Kenya; INX chief Peter Mukherjea, London.

On a simple note, Kamal Haasan’s ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ doesn’t boast of anything unexceptional from the original version. Each and every aspects of the film goes much as replicated from ‘A Wednesday’. But what makes the film so unparalleled from the original film is the presence of duo combo: Kamal Haasan-Mohan Lal as well the powerful dialogues.

Naturally, in most cases ‘remaking a masterpiece’ is a speculative task to go ahead with. It can be exemplified with best films of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Nayagan’ and ‘Devar Magan’ pathetically remade in Hindi.

No issues! Kamal Haasan doesn’t fall under this category as he excels with decent remake of ‘A Wednesday’.

The film opens with Chennai city commissioner Maarar (Mohan Lal) receiving a call from stranger (Kamal Haasan) who claims that he has placed bombs over various places in the city. Presuming this to be a crank call, commissioner doesn’t strain himself a lot onto this issue. But once, the stranger blows off their senses stating a bomb is ready to go exploded within few minutes at a police station in Anna Saalai, situations become much crucial.

Now, he has a deal on insisting the police department about releasing 4 deadliest criminals involved in serial bomb blasts across the nation.

Finally, with no options left, the department has to go along the stranger’s way of releasing the criminals. But that’s not an end as you would witnesses a surprising climax gradually making your heart skip a beat.

Getting on with performance, Kamal Haasan has perfectly enacted the role with right emotions delivered in the needy situations. Possibly, it’s better to ennoble Mohan Lal as the ‘man of hour’ as he’s overpoweringly great on his show. Be it a humorous take on dialogues or the final lines of conversation with Kamal Haasan, he just makes it look proficient. Ganesh Venkataram get-goes with an excellent show and he look ahead for best offers now while Tanuja Iyer does justice to her role.

Technically, cinematography by Manoj requires special mention for his skilled handling of digital camera. Shruthi Haasan hasn’t got much to showcase on the musical part and she needs to work a lot to top the charts.

Dialogues don’t sound to be hackneyed as expected as in most of the socio-based films we would’ve seen protagonists uttering the same lines. The lines are so striking in parts. Every conversation amongst each characterization is worth appreciating about.

As in marking the final verdict for filmmaker Chakri, he does insert some interesting elements that weren’t present in the original version.

Totting up, ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ happens to be a decent remake as Kamal Haasan makes it look finely embellished the than ‘A Wednesday’.

What works: Performance of Kamal Haasan, Mohan Lal and every actor, cinematography, dialogues, short duration…

What doesn’t work: Background score, too many English dialogues that maybe a difficulty amongst C centres.

Putting an end to the guessing game whether Kamal Hassan’s Unnaipol Oruvan would hit the screens tomorrow or not, the Madras High Court today granted permission to to release the movie as scheduled, however with some restrictions.

In his interim order, Justice Rajasuriya directed Kamal to pay half the sum of money that he allegedly owes to Pyramid Saimira before 30 September. He observed that failure to pay the money on the actor’s part would result in revoking the order.

Production company Pyramid Saimira had sought an interim stay to stop the release of Unnaipol Oruvan scheduled to hit theatres on 18 September. In his petition, N Narayanan, representing Pyramid Saimira, had stated that Kamal Haasan has taken an advance amount of Rs 10.90 crore for the proposed Marmayogi project at an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore.

As Kamal Haasan had violated the agreement of not acting in any other movie till Marmayogi is completed, the petitioner wanted the release of Unnaipol Oruvan to be stopped.

Kamal Haasan filed a counter-affidavit seeking the court not to order a stay. He said advance booking for the movie had already begun. If the movie doesn’t hit the screens on 18 September, it would disappoint fans besides a monetary loss.

Two new Hindi movies are set to open in the Chicago area this weekend. Yash Raj production Dil Bole Hadippa! (“My Heart Goes Hooray!”) stars Rani Mukerji as a woman who dresses as a man to play for an all-male cricket team, which is captained by Shahid Kapoor. It has a runtime of 2 hr. 28 min.

Wanted features Salman Khan as a mafia hitman who gets into trouble when an innocent girl falls for him. Its runtime is approximately 2 hrs. 40 min.

Note: some theater websites link to descriptions of the 2008 Angelina Jolie movie Wanted in their listings. As far as I know, that film isn’t being re-released, but you may want to verify with the theater that they are showing the Salman Khan movie of the same title.

Both Dil Bole Hadippa! and Wanted open at the AMC Cantera 30 in Warrenville, AMC South Barrington 30 in South Barrington and Big Cinemas Golf Glen 5 on Friday, September 18. The AMC Loews Pipers Alley 4 in Chicago will feature Wanted.

The South Barrington 30 is carrying over Kaminey for anyone interested in a Shahid Kapoor double feature.

Other Indian movies showing in the Chicago area this weekend include the Tamil film Unnaipol Oruvan at the Sathyam Cinemas in Downers Grove. The Telugu version of the same film is showing at the Golf Glen 5 under the title Eenadu.

Also showing at the Golf Glen 5 are the Telugu films Josh and Sankham and the Malayalam movie Daddy Cool.

Ah…I deeply apologize for the long break I took from the blog. I am back and back for good and with me I have some great news. I wish I could have shared this with all of you much earlier, but I had to be absolutely sure that it was all happening. There have been several things happening over the past few days and the best part is all of them seem to happening together at the same time. Let me start from the beginning:

Ahh..now you know, why I haven’t been writing so consistently these days. Today (14th Sepetember) was my first day at work and I think it will take me some time to get used to “work”! And I had to wait for couple of weeks to know for sure that I will be an official movie critic! And yes, do follow my reviews on www.123telugu.com, will probably get something to write this week. Oh, by the way, I didn’t apply directly to this firm! They found me via twitter and this blog! How cool is that?

Apart from all this, I have been pondering to write a story for quite sometime now. I think I have few ideas and right now, I have to make sure that I make it a point to write all that and see how it evolves. The subject will be a good script for a documentary…shall reveal more details on this one as I make some progress. Over the past few days, I have been reading a lot too! Finally I managed to wrap up, David Mitchell’s “Cloud Atlas” and currently am reading “Fast Food Nation”…a very interesting book which often reveals horrific details.

Well, that’s about it for now…I am still in the Hills, sipping my coffee, flipping through my books, smiling at people, thinking of new things to write about and wondering whom am I going to meet next. It finally dawns to me that after many days, I am excited about the way things are going on. I feel alive!

2. சுரேஷ் கண்ணன்: ரகுமானின் ‘ரோஜா’ திரைப்படத்தின் பாடல்களை கேட்ட போது எனக்குள் எழுந்த அதே மாதிரியான ஒரு புத்துணர்ச்சியான இசையைக் கேட்கும் உணர்வு இந்த ஆல்பத்தைக் கேட்கும் போது எனக்குள் எழுந்தது. அப்படியா
3. முதன்முதலாக: ஹிந்தியில் நாயகி வேடம். தமிழ் & தெலுங்கில் இசையமைப்பாளர் என்று அறிமுகமாகும் சுருதிஹாசனுக்கு வரவேற்பு.

Recession காரணமா என்று தெரியல. இந்த ஆல்பம் மனநிலையை சோகமுறச் செய்கிறது. இளையராஜாவிற்குப் பிறகு ஏ ஆர் ரெஹ்மானின் மலரோடு மலரின்று மரித்தாளும் (அல்லது மலரோடு மலரிங்கு மகிழ்ந்தாளும் போது – மணி ரத்னத்தின் மும்பை) போன்றவற்றிற்கு பிறகு நெகிழ்ச்சியுற மட்டும் வைக்காமல், யூத்துக்குப் பிடித்த புத்திசையாக வந்திருக்கிறது.

டைட்டில் சாங்கான ‘உன்னைப் போல் ஒருவன்’ எல்லாம் இசைத்தட்டு கொண்டு நல்ல 50,000 டாலர் ஸ்பீக்கர்+ஆம்ப் சங்கதி கொண்ட சவுண்ட்ப்ரூஃப் வீட்டில் கேட்கவேண்டும். கணினியில் மின்னஞ்சலுக்கு ஒரு காது, காதில் கேட்கும் கமல் குரலுக்கு இன்னொரு காது என்பது ஆகாது. ஆனால், அப்படிக் கேட்டால் போரடிக்கிறது.

சோறு தின்ற பிறகு ஊக்கமுற கடைசியாக ரிப்பீட்டில் ஓட்டியது ‘ஜெகடம் ஜெகடம் ஜெகடம் ஜெகட ஜெகட ஜெகட ஜெகடம்’. நாடோடிகள் அலுத்த பிறகு கமலின் ‘அல்லா ஜானே’ இப்போது கை கொடுக்கிறார். அதுவும் பாடலின் இறுதில் ஓலமிட்டு அழும் குரல்களின் சங்கமிப்பில், புரியாத ஸ்பெக்கை நாலு முறை திட்டிக் கொண்டே, உரத்தப் படித்தால் மண்டையில் ஏறுவது சிறப்பம்சம். மொத்தத்தில் எது #1 என்றால், அது கமல்தான்.

கம்பேர் செய்தே பழக்கமாகியதால் பெண்குரலில் வரும் அல்லா ஜானே காதிலேயே விழமாட்டேங்குது. இருவத்திமூன்று முறை முழுக்க பாடியதாக playcount சொன்னாலும் விண்டோஸ் மீடியா ப்ளேயர் பழுதோ என்று யோசிக்க வைக்கிறது.

வரிகள் எல்லாம் தனித்து, துருத்தி நிற்காதவாறு இசை மேலோங்கியிருப்பது மேற்கத்திய நாகரிகம். சொல்லப் போனால், பாதி (என்பது பொய்; அனைத்து ஆங்கில) பாப் பாடல்களிலும் கவிதையை இதுகாறும் நான் கவனித்ததில்லை. ஷநாயா ட்வெயினோலானிஸ் மாரிசட்டோ… என்ன மாதிரி ஆடை போட்டிருக்கிறார், ஒரே வரியே மீண்டும் மீண்டும் திரும்ப திரும்ப வருகிறதா என்பது மட்டுமே என் லட்சியம். இந்த டெக்னிக்கை ஓரளவு விஜய் ஆன்டனி செய்து வருகிறார். அவர் வாழ்க.

மும்பை (இல்லே… பாம்பே) ஜெயஸ்ரீ அனைத்துப் பாடல்களும் ஒரே மாதிரி பாடுகிறார் என்று குற்றம் சொல்லும் தொனியில் சில ‘உன்னைப் போல் ஒருவன்’ திரையிசை விமர்சனம் படித்தேன். அதே போல், கமல்ஹாஸன், நாகூர் ஹனீஃபா மாதிரி தேவையின்றி குரல் மாற்றிப் பாடியிருக்கிறார் என்று ‘ஏன் இந்த வீண் ஆசை? எவ்வாறு இன்னொரு ஸ்டைலில் போடலாம்?’ என்னும் வேறு இசை ரிவ்யூக்களும் கண்ணில் பட்டது.

ஒரே மாதிரி பாடுவது ரொம்ப சிரமம். இப்போ சம்பந்தமில்லாம உவமை போட்டுக்கலாம். டென்டுல்கர் அதே சென்சுரியத்தான் ஒவ்வொரு தடவையும் அடிக்கிறார். அதற்காக, போன சதம் மாதிரியே எதற்கு மீண்டும் சதம்? இந்த வாட்டி திலீப் தோஷி மாதிரி சூனியம் போடுங்க என்றா சொல்ல முடியும்?

டூயட் இல்லை. ஆதவனின் ‘டமக்கு தமக்கு’, நினைத்தாலே இனிக்கும் ‘அல்லா’, கண்டேன் காதலை ‘சுத்துது சுத்துது’ போன்ற குத்து கூட மிஸ்ஸிங். ஆனால், ராப் உண்டு. சுருதியை ‘வானம் எல்லை என்பது இன்று இல்லை’ இனிமையை நினைத்து மகிழ, ப்ளேஸி நடுவே புகுந்து கலாய்க்கிறார்.

அந்தக் காலத்தில் பாடல் திருடு போயிடுமோ என்று பயந்து குருகுக போன்ற முத்திரைப் பெயர்களை உள்ளே போட்டு பாடல் எழுதினார்கள். ப்லேசியும் அந்தப் பாரம்பரியத்தில் நாலு வார்த்தையில் மூன்று வார்த்தை தன் பெயர்ச்சொல்லை ஏற்ற இறக்கமில்லாமல் உச்சரித்து நிலை நாட்டுகிறார். வேண்டிய பாடலை மட்டும் தரவிறக்குவது வசதி. வேண்டிய பாட்டில் வேண்டாத இடங்களை எடிட் செய்யும் வசதியும் நாளடைவில் சுளுவானால் அதை விட வசதி.

ப்ளேசியைக் கேட்பதற்கு மனத்தடை உள்ளவர்களுக்காக பம்பாய் ஜெயஸ்ரீயுடன் கமல். ‘நிலை வருமா’ ரொம்ப நாளுக்கு டிஸ்டர்ப் செய்யக்கூடியது. எது என்றும் இனியது என்றால், அது இதுதான்.

சாரு நிவேதிதாவின் ‘ராஸ லீலா‘வை விமர்சிக்க வேண்டுமென்றால் கூட காசு கொடுத்து புத்தகம் வாங்கித்தான் குப்பை என்றோ, புரியலை பட்டயமோ தரவேண்டும் என்பது திண்ணம். அப்படியிருக்க ஓரளவு மீண்டும் மீண்டும் கேட்கக் கூடிய பாடல் கொடுத்தவருக்கு பாராட்டுகள் மட்டுமே சொல்லி செல்ல வேண்டும்.

The logo of actor Kamal Haasan’s upcoming Telugu film Eenadu (Unnai Pol Oruvan in Tamil), directed by debutant Chakri, was unveiled at Taj Banjara hotel in Hyderabad on Saturday in the presence of Telugu tinseltown bigwigs including former Union Minister and Tollywood’s senior figure Dasari Narayana Rao and D. Rama Naidu. The gathering included Kamal Haasan and Venkatesh, Chakri, Neelakanta, Srinu Vytla, Daggupati Rana and others.

“Kamal Haasan is the one and the only actor who dares and challenges filmmaking norms. His experiments paved way for new innovations in the South Indian film industry. Generally, the career of an actor would have just a couple of films to speak of the greatness of his career, but it is not so with Kamal. He is one actor who has more than 50 movies as blockbusters in his career,” Dasari said.

Kamal Haasan said: “I was supposed to get introduced in Telugu through Dasari’s movie. It was a painful decision to lose his movie. I like Dasari movies, especially MLA Edukondalu and wanted to act in its Tamil remake. I signed Chakri as director because he is a qualified filmmaker. The greatest hits in my career were given by Telugu directors and Telugu audiences. I will do a straight Telugu movie very soon. I am sure of Eenadu’s success because I am confident of Telugu audiences’ encouragement for good cinema.”

The makers, UTV Motion Pictures and Kamal’s Raj Kamal Movies, are planning to release the film on September 18. Amma Art Creations has bagged the distribution rights of the Telugu version. Eenadu is a remake of super hit Bollywood film A Wednesday, starring Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher in the lead roles.

Eenadu starring Kamal Hassan and Venkatesh is based on the Bollywood movie “The Wednesday.” The movie is directed by debutant director Chakri Toleti and produced jointly by UTV Motion Pictures and Kamal Hassan’s Raj Kamal Movies. Music is scored by Shruthi Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan.

Eenadu made both in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. Venkatesh’s role in the movie is played by Mohanlal in Tamil. The logo and the trailer of the movie will be released on 29 August. Eenadu is said to feature the existing conditions prevailing in the society. The movie is said to carry a strong message to the audience.

Movie rights for “Eenadu” are purchased by G Kumar Babu. The audio of the movie is expected for release in the first week of September, and the movie on 18 September.

This Dassera season is going to be flooded with movies. This will be a real treat for movie lovers. Movie makers are planning to make right use of this festive season. Several movies, including few big ones, are ready for release in the month of September.

Nagachaitanya coming as "Josh"

First to hit the screens is Naga Chaitanya’s debut “Josh”.  Karthika, daughter of Radha is also being introduced with the movie. “Josh” is directed by debutant director Vasu Varma and produced by Dil Raju. With many expectations the movie is expected for release on 3rd September.

This time Tollwood is going to experience a different trend. Till now we had been seeing film stars joining politics. On the contrary, Nara Rohit, nephew of Chandrababu Naidu is making his entry into Telugu Cinema with “Baanam”,  The movie is produced by Sheshu Priyanka (daughter of C Aswini Dutt) under Three Angels Studios banner (established by three daughters of C Aswini Dutt). “Baanam” is expected for release on 16 September.

“Eenadu” starring Kamal Hassan and Venkatesh is based on the Bollywood movie “The Wednesday.” The movie is directed by Chakri Toleti. Sruthi Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan scored music. “Eenadu” is produced jointly by UTV Motion Pictures and Kamal Hassan’s Raj Kamal Movies. This multi-starrer movie is slated for release on September 18.

Allu Arjun’s “Arya – 2 (sequel to Arya),” directed by Sukumar is expected for release in the second half of September. Kajal is playing the lead female role. Navadeep and Shraddha Das are playing special roles in the movie.

“Sankham” stars Gopi Chand and Trisha in the lead. The movie is directed by Shiva. After “Sowryam,” “Sankham” is the second movie coming in the combination of Gopi Chand and Shiva. The movie is expected for release in the festive season.

Another movie expected for release on the occasion of Dassera is “Jaganmohini”.  The movie stars Raja, Namitha and Meera Chopra. “Jaganmohini” is based on Vitalacharya’s Jaganmohini. It is directed by N K Viswanathan and produced by H Murali under Murali Cine Arts banner.

EVV’s movie Bendu Apparao R M P, produced under Suresh Productions banner, is close to completion. The movie stars Allari Naresh and Kamna Jethmalani. Hilarious Bendu Apparao R M P is expected for release in the second week of September.

Rechipo Movie

Nithin’s Rechipo will be hitting screens on 25 September. Glamour queen Ileana is paired against him in the movie. The movie is directed by Paruchuri Murali Krishna and produced by G V Ramana under Spectra Media banner.

“Ganesh” starring Ram and Kajal is getting ready for release for Dassera. The movie is directed by a Tamil director Sharavanan and produced by Ravi Kishore under Sri Sravanthi Movies banner.

Varun Sandhesh’s “Kurradu” is a remake of Tamil film “Polladavan.” Neha Sharma is heroine. The movie is directed by a debutant director Gunnam Sandeep, son of Gunnam Gangarau. Makers of “Kurradu” are planning to release it in Dassera season.
