Der Sketch erstellt ein paar zufällige Strings aus Nullen und Einsen, stellt sie untereinander dar und lässt Weiß- bis Schwarztöne horizontal darüberlaufen. Heraus kommt das hier:

Also die letzten Stunden habe ich unser Universum gesehen. Es vibriert wabenartig neben Quintillionen anderer Universen. Die Unendlichkeit steckt in uns, in Allem und im Nichts. Das Leben ist ein ewiger Kreislauf. Dieser Kreislauf existiert in jedem Atom und durchdringt jedes Atom, das bedeutet auch uns Menschen. Unser Puls ist nichts anderes als eine Energiewelle die wie Ebbe und Flut an den Strand pulsiert. Diese Welle strömt durch alles. Jeder Mensch besteht aus zig Oktillionen Atomen, jedes Atom beherbergt Nonillionen Universen. Egal in welche Richtung ich blicke, überall sind Atome, Universen, Strömungen die alles vernetzen. Ich bin mit ihnen verbunden, die Universen leben in mir und um mich herum. Gedanken sind nichts weiter als Geburten von Universen. Depressionen, Geisteskrankheiten usw. sind Tode von Universen. Jede Bewegung zerstört und erzeugt Universen. Alles ist mit allem verbunden. Jede Handlung, jeder Gedanke, alles bleibt für immer erhalten.

Manchmal kann ich Nachts nicht schlafen. Dann schaue ich auf die Uhr und beginne im Kopf zu rechnen wieviel Schlaf ich noch habe bis der Wecker klingelt. Das wiederum setzt mich unter Druck, denn jetzt beginnt der Kampf gegen die Zeit:
Wenn ich nicht in der nächsten halben Stunde im Tiefschlaf bin, dann hab ich nur noch fünf Stunden Schlaf. Warte ich noch länger, beginnt die Zahl der Stunden die ich schlafe, mit einer vier! Eine Vier am Anfang ist definitiv zu wenig. Also schnell einschlafen. Denke an nichts. Du bist ganz ruhig. Du bist sehr müde. Schlaf. Schlaf. Verdammt ich hör etwas surren. Was surrt da? Ist “surren” überhaupt ein Wort? Oder meine ich Summen? Aber es klingt nicht nach Summen. Es könnte ein Brummen sein. Vielleicht ist es der Kühlschrank? Er neigt dazu mitten in der Nacht komische Geräusche von sich zu geben. Soll ich aufstehen und nach dem Kühlschrank sehen? Nein. Lieber nicht. Das kostet locker fünf Minuten. Vielleicht sogar zehn bis ich wieder völlig ruhig und ausgeglichen bin. Ignoriere das Surren. Denk an was schönes. Verlier dich in deinen Gedanken.
Ich glaube ich liege auf Krümeln. Es kratzt irgendwo unter mir. Waren die eben schon da? Lass die Augen einfach zu und feg’ die Krümmel von Bett. Verdammte Krümel. Wie kommen die überhaupt UNTER MICH?! Egal. Weg damit. Und dann…endlich…
Vogel-Gezwitscher. Diese Scheiß-Viecher! Wie ich sie hasse! Ich kann ihren Spott förmlich riechen. Ich hasse auch die Bäume auf denen sie sitzen. Morgen werde ich die Bäume fällen. Mal sehen wer dann lacht! Ganz ruhig. Ich werde jetzt einschlafen.
Hab ich den Wecker gestellt? Ich glaube ich hab ihn gestellt. Was wenn nicht? Ich sollte noch mal nachsehen. Aber dafür müsste ich mindestens ein Auge öffnen. Das sind umgerechnet drei Minuten…
Ich wusste ich hab ihn gestellt. Verdammt! Drei Minuten verschenkt. Nicht aufregen. Bleib ruhig. Denk an nichts! Warum surren die Vögel? Ich hätte das Handy noch einstöpseln sollen. Ich wette es ist spätestens morgen Mittag leer. Dann piepst es alle zwei Minuten. Ich hasse es, wenn mein Handy piept. Ich habe nie verstanden, wieso das Handy angeblich leer ist, wenn es noch genug Saft hat um fünf Stunden zu piepen! Wenn ich es jetzt einstecke, hab ich morgen den ganzen Tag Saft. Nein. Bleib lieber liegen. Ich weiß auch gar nicht wo das dumme Ladekabel ist. Es waren eh noch zwei Balken voll.
Wieviel Uhr es jetzt wohl ist? Ich schau gar nicht hin. Bestimmt ist es noch nicht so spät. Ich werde morgen ausgeschlafen sein! Einfach an nichts mehr denken. Schlafen. Schwarz. Nichts. Langeweile. Hoffentlich bekomm ich nicht mal Idioten als Kinder. Verdammt wo kommt dieser Gedanke her? Was, wenn sie trotz guter Erziehung Arschlöcher werden? Oder Emos? Ich habe jetzt schon Angst vor der Pubertät meiner Kinder! Was mach ich wenn ich ne Tochter bekomme und sie dated einen Idioten? Fast alle Frauen haben mindestens einen Idioten gedated. Ich muss das verhindern. Warum darf man Kinder nicht schlagen? Weil sie dann zu Idioten werden! Das macht alles kein Sinn.
Schlafen. Jetzt sind es bestimmt keine 5 Stunden mehr. Was, wenn es sogar nur noch drei sind? Ich muss mich frei von dem Druck machen. Drei Stunden Schlaf sind mehr als genug. Im Krieg hatten sie auch nicht mehr. Aber da konnten sie auch auf die Vögel schießen! Sind Tattoos vererbbar? Wie komme ich jetzt darauf? Warum kann man sich eigentlich Selbstbefriedigen, aber nicht Selbstmassieren? Es wäre auch praktisch, wenn man sich selbst kitzeln könnte. Dann könnte man sich kitzeln, wenn man traurig ist! Wieso denke ich so einen Schwachsinn. Bestimmt sind es die Vögel da draußen. Dieses Zwitschern. Ob Vögel auch Einschlafschwierigkeiten haben? Warum regnet es immer nur dann, wenn ich keinen Regenschirm habe? Vor wenigen Wochen hat es in der Stadt geregnet. Ich habe mir einen Schirm für zwei Euro gekauft, plötzlich hörte es auf. Zufall?
Ich glaube ich schlafe langsam ein. Ich kann meine Gedanken nicht mehr richtig kontrollieren. Das ist gut. Schlafen…ich… schla… fe…

Körperliche Bewegung hat meistens einen Zweck,

Muskeln, welche die Gliedmaßen nach der Musik formen.

Bewegung ist nicht ohne Körper.

Der Körper ist das Ahornblatt,

welches im Winde tanzt.

Der Hauch der Seele,

die Eins ist mit der Musik,

drückt sich im Tanze aus.

Ist der Tanz nicht eigentlich mittelbar wiedergegebene Musik,

der Körper nicht eigentlich nur das Notwendige,

der Bewegung einen Ort zu geben?

Die Bewegung ist das Mittel, dass der Körper Medium

für die Verwirklichung des Tanzes sein kann.

Die Bewegung selbst ist diese Verwirklichung.

Sie geschieht nur um ihrer selbst willen.

Der Tanz kommt aber aus dem Innersten des Körpers, die Muskeln,

Well, Web 2.0 is another budding new technology again. So good, for the benefit we can get on it. In that way we can make it possible to share information and collaborating on the World Wide Web. The beginning of Web 2.0 led to the development of web applications, and therefore advantage again for the users. Like for instance social networking sites which I really enjoy right now mainly because of the friendliness of it’s application.

Web 2.0, properly utilized, can be a huge help for our profession. Of course, there are problems such as privacy issues but once these problems are solved and we figure out how to integrate the new to the old, we can improve our service. After all, innovation is the ability to see change as an opportunity – not a threat.

As far as I can remember, Library 2.0 is user centered, because users participate in the creation of the content and services they view within the library’s web-presence, OPAC, and many more. The consumption and creation of content is dynamic, and thus the roles of librarian and user are not always clear. Users interact with and create resources with one another and with librarians. Library 2.0 is very rich in social contact too. The library’s web-presence includes users’ presences. There are both synchronous like IM and asynchronous way for instance the wikis for users to communicate with one another and with librarians. It also provides a multi-media experience since both the collections and services of Library 2.0 contain video and audio components. Library 2.0 is equally innovative it rests on the foundation of libraries as a community service, so libraries has a huge job as a community, but understands that as communities change, libraries must not only change with them, they must allow users to change the library. It seeks to continually change its services, to find new ways to allow communities, not just individuals to seek, find, and utilize information.

Google is today’s most popular search engine having 60% of the world’s market share. I personally use Google as my primary search engine because of its better search results than other search engines. After I’ve watched the Google: Behind the screen documentary, I learned that the Google company is admired by their employees. If I was one of their employees, I will certainly be proud of what I work for. The facilities are clean, simple, and comfortable. They have a massage room, volleyball area, outdoor cafe, and a clean and green environment. Surely the Google employees will be more motivated to work. In Google’s field of organizing and disseminating information, it is a mystery of how do they do those stuff. As it is the company’s trade secret, it will be impossible for us common users to know.

As a Google user, I’ll continue using their products and services as long as they live up to their motto “Don’t be evil”. I hope that they will be able to make sure that as we use their products our private data won’t be compromised. I also hope that sometime they will more lean towards the public sphere rather than the private sphere even if they will become a monopoly in the future.

I use Google mail, earth, groups, picasa, and blogger. One thing I like most in their products is its ease of use. I prefer Gmail over Ymail for its nice and simple layout. I use Google earth when I’m in a mood in going around the world. . I use Google groups because it is required by this subject. . I use Picasa when I was a Windows user and I like the way they the software previews my photos/images. And lastly, I have recently used Blogger for the reason of being curious on its difference to WordPress.

I can say that the most distinguishing factor in all Google products is their simplicity and that is what I like in things. Being simple and at the same time powerful is good rather than having pretty complex things with no sense at all.

The video presentation is quite interesting.pinakita kung pano nabuo ang google at pano nakakaapekto sa buhay ng mga tao .. i’m amazed with those people na gumawa ng google…( ahmmm..natuwa ako dun sa maliit na refrigerator ng google.. haha. ) i can’t imagined myself na gumawa ng search engine..hindi kaya ng powers ko…haha.

Google is the best innovation in internet existing now. I mean, it has everything and its applications are user-friendly and are loved by everyone. And they are empowering everything with just simply keying the “enter” or by just clicking the mouse. How wonderful and powerful? I’m still looking forward to what Google can offer for us.

As i am watching i am shocked by how Google works. i mean all i can say is “WOW..” I can’t say much because Google apps and the Google itself speaks for itself. I don’t need to advertise it or such because it is all there.

Google is all a web user can ever ask for. And.. hmmm… I don’t have to say now because, for me, there is no such word to describe Google.;p

i just hope that Google will not take over the world.. ;p

Innen und Aussen sind nichts weiter als Worte und Worte verwirren mehr als sie klären, führen zu Missverständnissen. Wer die Einheit erfahren hat, für den existiert weder eine innere noch eine äussere Welt, gibt es keine innere und keine äussere Stimme, keinen inneren und keinen äusseren Weg, keine innere und keine äussere Kraft, keine innere und keine äussere Energie, oder was auch immer, für ihn gibt es nur Welt, Stimme, Weg, Kraft, Energie, usw. obwohl, genau betrachtet gibt es noch nicht einmal mehr diese Bezeichnungen – Einheit bedarf keine Worte.

Und so sind all jene die von inneren und äusseren Welten sprechen, genauso Gefangene und Sklaven der Trennung, wie jene die von einer spirituellen und einer materiellen Welt sprechen, bzw. von spirituellen und materiellen Menschen, von bewussten und unbewussten, von erwachten und nicht erwachten Menschen, usw. sprechen.

Leben ist wie es ist und die Dinge sind wie sie sind und dieses, ist wie es ist, ist unbeschreiblich und wenn wir es dennoch beschreiben wollen, tappen wir die Fallen der Trennung, also in dieses, entweder oder, in dieses richtig oder falsch Denken, in dieses werten und urteilen hinein.

Die Fallen der Trennung und somit der Dualität sind sehr gut getarnt und oft treten wir hinein ohne es zu merken und sind somit verstrickt in den Illusionen des Ich, also sind gefangen in der Scheinwelt des Ich, in dieser Ichwelt, also in einer Welt die nicht existiert, oder anders gesagt, wir identifizieren uns mit der Illusion des Ich.

Having an internet is important these days. Communicating with long distant friends and relatives are made possible through the internet. Our world has become a neighbourhood where people interact with each other, have fun, share ideas, and much more.

What we do these days in the world wide web was not certainly done in the young days of the internet. As I had listened to the report about the internet’s history, I realized that it has undergone too many complex processes from the establishment of the Arpanet up to now. Thanks to the developers for simplifying the internet for us. I also learned that the first use of the internet here in the Philippines was from the University of San Carlos Cebu (most of us classmates thought that it was from UP).

The group who reported the topic showed sufficient knowledge because they had explained their topics well. Also our group was inspired by them for using 1 powerpoint format in their presentation.

As information professionals in the future, we should make use of the internet as one of the tools in providing information products and services to our clients. We are fortunate that we live in an age where information is just a click  away. When we become librarians or information specialists, the internet will make our job much easier. But we must take caution in using the net, we should know how to select information that are reliable and authentic. We should also consider ethics and the intellectual property rights. Proper citation must be practiced in all times in gathering data.

I learned lot of things from the presentation of the reporters like kung pano nag exist yung net..from military purpose,to scientific research  then sa  business…(ang galing talaga ng mga people ) then nalaman ko din kung pano nag start yung net sa Philippines…it was bacause of a father na na missed yung anak..aww.. natuwa talaga ako dito.

As for the internet, it was nice to show its journey from being a product of the Cold War to an indespensible part of our lives. We take this things for granted but it took a lot of innovative and hard-working people to produce the technology we enjoy today.

Ein Leben als digitaler Eremit ist kein Zuckerschlecken: die karge Landsschaft, dann natürlich die Einsamkeit und all die anderen Entbehrungen, die einem Einsiedler wie mir, fern vom regen Treiben, zu schaffen machen. Jede Abwechslung ist willkommen.

Mit diesem Blog nehme ich an der Lernplattform Bibliothek 2.009 teil, um im www auf dem neuesten Stand zu bleiben. Der Blog ist aber auch da, um ein wenig aus meiner Grotte zu berichten und die ein oder andere Anekdote zu erzählen.

The history of computing has been taught to me from grade school to college so I know some of the facts in it such as the differential machine, charles babbage, and ada byron. But in the report of the first group, I have learned something new. The topic that fascinated me was about the history of Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh which as I remember was the last topic in the report. It was nice to see images of Microsoft and Apple’s evolution for instance the photo of the first Apple Macintosh  to the Macbook and iPhone. It would be more interesting to me if they had included a brief timeline of Linux and other operating systems (or other systems related to computing).

Their report was easy to absorb since they have used enough visual aids. I was surprised to see a manila paper on the wall, they should have included it in their powerpoint presentation. In overall, they had presented their respective topics well straight to the point.

I think I can use what I have learned in this report in creating things or ideas like what I’m doing right now (first time blogging) in a way that I can improve or evolve like what happened to our computers. Their report implies that as time flies we find or discover new creative ideas. Apple ventured into mobile phones and software that helped them develop to one of the companies admired today. As a student we can also follow this path by studying not only our subjects at school but also in other fields that can make us become competent.

I had a computer subject in my elementary and high school years so I was aware of the history of computers but not as detailed as the report of the group. It is amazing to see the progress of computers from an abacus to room-sized computers to laptops.
