Lunki just shot down one of my many great ideas again. I suggested, since it’s Thanksgiving weekend in America and since we hopefully will live there when we get our TV-show, that it would be nice to celebrate it ourselves to get a head start on American traditions.

I think Lunki liked the idea of getting the head start, but since the idea came from me, he muttered something about us being Swedes living in Sweden and that we should leave the American traditions alone.

Well, bye bye Halloween..

Jag har fått mitt livs första  award!  ”I think you are an awesome girl”. Av supertjejerna Ingmarie och Lisette.  Tack!

Den innehåller en utmaning oxå. Eller snarare två. Att ge priset och utmaningen vidare till tre andra supertjejer. Och att berätta tio saker om mig själv.

Tre formidabla tjejer. Bara tre….  Av alla miljarder häftiga brudar i världen. Och så ska de inte ha antagit utmaningen tidigare heller, gissar jag. Och ha en blogg. Det får bli de fantastiska pinglorna:  Paljetten Q, Helena och Snorkfröken.

Jag då?

1. Jag har en prickig vaxduk på matbordet, prickar på gardinerna, en dotter med en prickig tröja och prickar i ansiktet (fräknar). Jag gillar prickar helt enkelt. Små prickar.

2. När jag springer lyssnar jag på musik som jag skäms lite för. Som Linda Bentzing. Och E-type. När jag inte springer föredrar jag skandinavisk folkmusik. Den skäms inte för sig.

3. Ibland öppnar jag mina stora arkivlådor och dagdrömmer om att dra iväg till en grafikverkstad  och förverkliga alla skissartade idéer som gömmer sig där. Konstnärsdrömmar dör uppenbarligen aldrig.

4. Som nyfrälst löpare knarkade jag asfalt. Numer tycker jag till och med slingrande grusvägar är monotona. Men ge mig stigar med rotsnubbel och stenskravel och jag blir lyrisk.

5. Bokyllorna förökar sig i skrämmande fart i vårt hushåll. Liksom innehållet. De brittiska pusseldeckarna är ena rackare på att yngla av sig.  

6.  Trångsynthet gör mig arg. Och riktigt rädd.

7. Till frukost äter jag varm fruktsoppa. Säkert helt förkastligt ur näringssynpunkt, men jag behöver kickstarten.

8. Till det vackraste jag vet hör karga, öppna, vilda, gärna havsnära landskap. Så mina drömresmål är sådana. Som Svalbard, Färörna, Island och Eldslandet. Det är nog också förklaringen till att jag har förvånansvärt svårt att undvika Norges kustland.

9. Det finns vissa som tror att jag skrattar jämt. De har nästan rätt.

10. Jag älskar att bli kliad på ryggen. Löst och försiktigt, bara som en en lätt nuddning, så där så att håren på armarna reser sig. Och kroppen inte riktigt vet om den ryser av välbehag eller obehag.

I was a big fan of the original V-series back in the mid-eighties so when I heard that a remake was in production I was horrified, but also a little curious. So I just had to watch it.

And after watching the pilot episode of “V” 2009-style I was hooked. I’m not loving it as much as the original, but I still like it a lot. It sadly doesn’t have the same eerie kind of score and the special effects varies from excellent to really terrible, but the writers has added an interesting twist to the story and the series is packed with a lot of great actors from other TV-shows.

Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost), and Joel Gretsch, (4400 and Taken) stars as FBI agent Erica Evans and catholic priest Father Jack Landry. The incredibly beautiful Morena Baccarin, who I already love after seeing her guest appear as Chloe on How I met your mother, co-stars as the V leader Anna.

But even if there are a lot of great actors, I do think that the characters they have to play aren’t as great as the ones from the original series. I especially miss someone like Ham Tyler, brilliantly played by Michael ironside, or Mike Donovan, played by Marc Singer.

Only four episodes have been produced in the new series as some kind of test to see what ratings it would get. And since it started off with the biggest rating a new show has gotten in a long, long time I think we will get a full season starting March 15 2010, when the fifth episode is scheduled for broadcast.

And hopefully by then, the writers has added some new, cool characters. I can’t wait to see.

I’m waiting for the Live stream from The Staples Center in Los Angeles which will start in forty-five minutes. It’s early morning here in Sweden, but who cares? It’s KISS.

Edit: The concert is over, and it was awesome. The streaming was excellent and did only freeze up once. And it was of course right before God of Thunder when Gene Simmons was about to spit blood. And I missed it. Damn it.

Usually when Johnny the Intern’s favorite football/soccer team Liverpool looses a game it affects his coffee making performance. Bad game. Bad coffee. Good game. Slightly less bad coffee.

But today, the day after Liverpool FC didn’t make the play-offs in Champions League, he didn’t make any coffee at all.

He just sits here quietly at the office with a blank stare and tears in his eyes. I feel sorry for Johnny the Intern, but in the meantime I can’t help feeling happy for Lunki and me. Personally I wouldn’t have dared tasting whatever coffee he would have produced on a sad day like this.

Jag får springa! SPRINGA!

Ok. Det handlar bara om en minuts löpning. Men ändå. Jag får SPRINGA!

Var till naprapat Daniel idag. Hälsenan har blivit mycket bättre. Den högra är inte längre dubbelt så tjock som den vänstra. Och inte gjorde det lika outhärdligt ont när han nöp runt den heller, pressade och klämde för att få bort resterande vätska. Bara för det gav han sig på mina stela vadmuskler dessutom. Hittade triggerpunkter som sände ilningar ända upp i häcken. Ont är bara förnamnet.

Eftersom jag blivit så bra får jag springa en minut i morgon. Sen ska jag analysera efterverkningarna. Gör det ont under tiden – avbryt omedelbart! Ont ett par timmar efteråt eller ont dagen därpå? Stelhet dagen därpå är mindre farligt än stelhet efter ett par ynka timmar. Beroende på status får jag springa en eller två minuter tre dagar senare. Det ni – TVÅ minuter.

Så ska löpningen trappas upp. Dubblering av minuter. Sakta men säkert. Övriga rehab i form av excentriska tåhävningar fortsätter såklart. Minst åtta veckor till med 360 hävningar om dagen. Numer har jag 17 kilo i ryggsäcken. Ska nog öka på lite. Om jag hittar en eller annan tegelsten till i trädgården. Och så vadstretch, helst fyra gånger per dag.

Eftersom jag inte blir lycklig av rehab allena alternativtränar jag förstås: spinningpass, skivstångspass, core och ett eller annat gymbesök. F&S regerar! Och efter nyår mer än någonsin. Då startar de upp cirkelfys i Uppsala. Jippie!

I just had a funny conversation with my 83-year-old grandma. She told me that she had a new favorite sitcom on TV. She didn’t know what it was called, but it was about a troubled husband and wife and their family. She was quite happy that one of her TV channels showed it four times a day.

I started guessing; Married with Children? No. King of Queens? No. Home Improvement? No. Everybody Loves Raymond? No.

I pretty much guessed all sitcom couple shows ever made. I even went back to the good old days. I Love Lucy? No. The Honeymooners? No. The Jeffersons? No. All in the Family? No.

Some of them she had never even heard of. We sat quietly for a while until she blurted out; Oh, they are kind of yellow! Really? The Simpsons? Yes.

My 83-year-old grandma loves the Simpsons. I couldn’t be prouder.

Janne the Director has been coming around the office every day the last couple of months to suggest that he could direct our upcoming unpaid TV Pilot for Swedish Television. And our answer has always been the same; you are in the mix Janne the Director, but we are still planning an audition to get the right Director for the job.

This morning he came around again, but this time with a new suggestion. He wants to direct a short film starring me and Lunki. A film that would be submitted to film festivals around the world; like Tribeca, Sundance and Cannes. And a film that ultimately would win Best Live Action Short Film at the Academy Awards.

It was a great pitch and the thing that really sold us on the idea was that he promised to, at the award ceremony, introduce us to his Hollywood friends; the Baldwin cousins.

Now all we need is a script. I made a short film years ago, but this time it would be nice to work with a script coming from outside the Lunki and Sika entourage. Do I see a script contest here at the blog in the near future? You bet.

And I would love to see them.

If the new tour is as good as the new album, the “Sonic Boom Over Europe: From The Beginning To The Boom” is going to be awesome! KISS is coming next Summer to Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Holland, France, Spain, Belgium and TWO gigs in Sweden.

But since both Lunki and me have been strapped for cash the last couple of decades I guess we have to make due with watching them live on Facebook (facebook.com/KISS) via a streaming link from their show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles at 9 pm PST on Wednesday, November 25.

We have put Johnny the Intern on a mission to solve the “no cash for KISS tickets” problem. He has until November 27 when the tickets go on sale.

It’s been a weird couple of days with disappointing news; Oprah Winfrey announced the retirement of her show, Paris Hilton’s mom announced that Paris once upon a time had plans for breast enlargements, and pretty much everyone seemed to agree that The Twilight Saga: New Moon sucked. And if that wasn’t enough, it has come to my attention that pizza isn’t considered a low carb meal.

It’s hard to keep track of what to eat, but it seems bread is out of the question. Johnny the Intern has taken it upon himself to add it to his list of what’s forbidden to eat here at the office; which means bread is right up there with fruit and vegetables, because as you know; he is convinced those two are what makes you overweight.

If you think that’s weird you should be aware that he also is convinced that the new John Cusack movie 2012 is in fact a Documentary sent to us from the future.

He is currently putting together a boat, purchased at IKEA.

Jag har blivit hårdhudad. I häcken. Men inte i huvudet. Ett spinningpass då och då är svettigt, svinjobbigt och superkul. Spinningpass, på spinningpass, på spinningpass är svettigt, svinjobbigt och småtrist. Men vad gör man inte.

Jag håller konditionen vid liv. Och hälsenorna bråkar inte efteråt. Men det är inte löpning – så långt ifrån löpning. Jag saknar den meditativa monotonin i ett lugnt distanspass. Sätta en foten framför den ena. Bara vara. I ensamhet. Jag saknar snabbdistanspassen. Att lyssna till de egna, tunga andetagen, känna hjärtslagen sprida värmen ut i kroppen och mjölksyran kittla musklerna.  

Jag saknar närvaron. Härvaron.

Since we are planning to make it big internationally we are hoping to get representation in different countries, starting with the United States. According to wikipedia there are about four or five big players in the line of talent agencies in the States.

Creative Artists Agency (CAA)
International Creative Management (ICM)
United Talent Agency (UTA)
William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME Entertainment)

The question is; how do we get their attention? Do I have to send out my “Burt Reynolds”-picture again, or is there anybody out there who knows an agent who would be perfect for us?

Sika did a blog post about who could play the role as him when we get our own TV show in America. I personally think that the show would benefit if I played a lead role/show runner/producer part, but as Sika says, maybe FOX have another actor in mind to play the role of Lunki.

Sika got some spot on suggestions like Bruce Vilanch and Paul Giamatti.

When it comes to me it is not as easy as that. Many people often think of some longed haired sex gods like Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom. But I don’t want it all to be about the looks, I want to go deeper.

An actor with an aura that is both sophisticated and censorious as well as laid back and ingenious.

I simply don’t know. Do you have any suggestions?

Mina staplar är längst på Funbeat. Det  var de inte igår. Då låg jag nästan sist.

Men så ändrade jag urvalet: från träning de senaste 30 dagarna till träning de senaste 14 dagarna. Tada!

It started yesterday when kateberger1 posted this comment on our first eighteen videos on YouTube;

I’m in love with one of you…guess who? Sorry but I just discovered you today & I’m playing catch-up starting w/the very 1st episode. You guys (I mean 1 of you) are the greatest. I just got the book, “stalking for dummies” so I’ll be seeing (one of you) real soon!

She then posted comments on the rest of the videos so far (up to the 32nd) saying stuff like;

Oh Sika…my heart be still! You are a magnificent specimen of manhood!

OK Sika, time for me to come clean. Yes IT IS YOU THAT I LOVE! It’s true what Johnny says, and I love the color of your P*N*S! (oh sorry, that was me next to you in the public urinal that day). OK, I’ll admit it, I’m also the one snapping the polaroids from your bedroom window.
Johnny is spot on, your voice, acting talents, P*N*S…all adds up to the perfect man.

I have been thinking a lot about our still-to-come TV-show in America. I’m a trained actor, but it’s not certain that the executives at FOX or Comedy Central or wherever we end up wants me to play myself on the show. Perhaps they want me to focus more on the creative part of the show. And in that case, they might bring in someone great; a character actor that really could bring the part of Sika to new heights. And someone reminiscent of what I’m all about; good looks, al pacino-like acting skills, understated wit and charm.

I’m thinking Ben Affleck. What do you think? Do you have a different suggestion? Let me know, because when one of the TV-companies decides to snatch us up, it’s good to be prepared.

I have just watched the video that Lunki posted this weekend.

From what I understand from the reactions, there are a lot of people thinking that it’s me in that video. And I understand how they can make that mistake. I mean, they guy has awesome hair, a great mustache, nice frames, and a hairy chest. But nevertheless, it’s not me.

It is however another example of a great guy being single and trying to find the love of his life. It’s admirable. I myself is in that very position today. I feel his pain. HIS pain. The other guy in the video. It’s not me.

Because f it was me participating in that video from the 80’s and not another great guy named Sika, it would be very sad that I 20 years later still were searching for the one true love. Very sad. But thankfully it’s not. It’s not.

But now over to something more important. The weather is getting colder by the minute here in the north of Sweden. We have heard reports that there will be snow any day now. That’s good because the polar bears are getting restless. They like snow.

En blogg är (oftast) en självcentrerad skapelse. En gnällig blogg, som min under löparabstinens, är en sann stilstudie i egocentrering.

I lördags fick jag ytterligare jagperspektiv. Var in till Uppsala och tog sista chansen att se utställningen Avtryck. En alldeles, alldeles underbar och förunderlig utställning av min alldeles, alldeles underbara vän Helena Laukkanen.

Den handlar om jag. Handfast innebär Helenas jagprojket att hon klipper ut alla “jag” ur böcker. Alla dessa “jag” får sedan ett nytt sammanhang. Som när de som här nålas upp som ett diffuserat jaglandskap på väggen.

Det är otroligt vackert. Och enormt tankeväckande.

Just det här verket – Avtryck – startade en process hos mig (som jag inte är klar med ännu). Det var något med de fastnålade jagen som fick mig att famla efter något nästan greppbart. Idag läste jag ett citat på Ingmaries blogg. Det handlade om vänner och löd: en vän är en människa i vars sällskap man törs vara sig själv.

Då hittade synapserna i min helgslöa hjärna varandra. De fastnålade jagen snuddade vid en fundering som jag ofta försöker springa ifrån. Vem f-n är JAG? Vem är jag när jag är mig själv? Finns det ett jag som går att fästa med en knappnål på väggen?

As you know, Lunki is in Finland this weekend. I just got a message saying that he is planning to upload a video tomorrow evening from his hotel room. It apparently had something to do with me being single.

I’m a bit worried, since the last video he uploaded on his own was my sex tape.

But perhaps the new upload won’t be something bad at all. Because I have really thought about it, and I don’t think there are any more “tapes” out there with my participation.

Maybe he has just found a girl that he wants to introduce to me. Or maybe not. We just have to wait and see. Be sure to check back here tomorrow.

I morse trodde jag att sambon tänkte bjuda på frukost på sängen. Våfflor med grädde och hallonsylt. Det luktade nämligen nygräddade våfflor i hela huset.  Klockan halv sex på morgonen.

Men inte då. Det visade sig att det bara var i min näsa det doftade starkt av våffla. Något våffeljärn syntes inte till. Men sen nosade Pumlan lite närmare på mig, och påstod att det luktade – våffla.

Diabetes lär lukta äpple. Och tyfus ska visst lukta nygräddat bröd. Vad tror ni om diganosen för frasvåfflor?

Even though he promised to carry all the gold we would find if we went on an adventure together, it seems Johnny the Intern will be busy this weekend. He is sitting here on the office floor putting together some furniture I ordered from IKEA. And he’s doing it without a manual!

It’s looks to me like he’s currently on his own little adventure. Because much like Indiana Jones he treats every piece in front of him on the floor like a booby trap. He carefully examines them, trying to figure out the ups and downs, the lefts and rights.

It’s so much fun to see someone putting together furniture without a manual, because as we speak, Johnny the Intern is getting more and more angry and frustrated. So even though I didn’t get my own adventure, just watching this spectacle pretty much makes up for that.

Thank God I hid that manual.

Order från naprapaten. Hälsenorna ska avlastas medelst hälkilar. Så jag har dammsugit marknaden. Produktutvärdering pågår. Från Apotekets 150-kronorsmodell, via sportbutikernas geleiga varianter till 20-kronors korkkilar.

Känner mig som en gammal kärring i foträta dojjor. En desperat sådan. Och en jävligt gnällig.

Fast just nu mår vaderna rätt fint. Möra men flexibla efter dagens massage på jobbet. Med två blåmärken som bevis. Hälsenan gör inga väsen av sig heller. Så länge jag inte klämmer i dess närområde. Då gör det svinont.  Mystiken tätnar. Liksom desperationen.

Bara för att klargöra. Jag har inte sprungit på fyra veckor. Alternativträning tre gånger hittills – spinning och styrka. Gjort excentriska tåhävningar. Stretchat vadmusklerna. Gått på behandling hos naprapat tre gånger. Hälsenan blev bättre den första gången, men har sedan dess bara blivit sämre. Den är möjligen mindre stel på morgonen. Men gör ont så förbannat vid beröring. Och på kvällarna syns en tydlig svullnad längs senans insida ner mot forknölen. Däremot gör det inte ont om jag belastar senan genom att till exempel gå på tå eller studsa omkring. Fattar inte ett skit.

Even if I’m from Sweden, I have always loved Canada.

And we have had some great moments, Canada and me. I loved Monty Python’s “The Lumberjack Song”, I was glued to the television watching Wayne Gretzky play hockey and I was happy getting Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill when I signed up for a gym membership back in 1995, even if I’d never heard of her or knew that she originated from Canada.

You really have produced some great people Canada. So when I discovered that it was a Canadian that had produced our first video response ever on YouTube, I wasn’t surprised. Because you are there for me Canada. You are always there.

But not right now. I’m using Lunki’s computer to play Farmville. Time to milk some cow and trim some bush. It’s all in a day’s work as a busy Farmer!

I want to go on an adventure. And no, it’s not only because Lunki is going to the exotic north of Finland this weekend and leaving me here at the office. It does affect the situation but it’s not the sole reason.

I happened to watch The Goonies last night and got envious of their great adventure. So for that to happen to me this week, maybe I have to round up my own “The Goonies” team? Starting with Johnny the Intern as Chunk.

I don’t know. Maybe it’s time for me to get a girlfriend? Because from what I understand the reason for getting a girlfriend is you have someone to go on adventures with.

That, and back rubs.
