A Sociedade Protetora de Animais de Indiana dos Estados Unidos, (ISPCA),  produziu um vídeo de natal  que vem irritando os católicos no Brasil.

The much talked about Hanukkah celebration at the White House this year finally happened this evening at sunset. The event was in the late afternoon and included a public menorah lighting by Rahm Emanuel and traditionally kosher food as well. Not only was the food kosher, but the kitchen was made kosher for the meal as well. If you keep kosher in your home, you know the whole process. Boiling the utensils, cleaning and the steaming etc. This was under the Chabad supervision of Rabbi Levi Shemtov.

I’m sure most of you are familiar with these images that have been circulating the blogosphere:

First, let me point out that Al Gore has failed at proving that Global Warming exists. That’s like trying to prove that Santa exists. Sure, wouldn’t it be dandy? But facts are facts and fiction is fiction. So, what does a has-been politician do when his life’s work has been proven time and time again to be a fraud? Well, if this has-been politician is Al Gore; he resorts to Photoshopping “evidence”. I mean, Photoshop trumps science, right? Wrong. Sorry, Al. It doesn’t. Just like whining about pregnant chads doesn’t win an election. YES, we all remember your whiny ass complaining about pregnant chads and dimples on ballots.

In the images above you can clearly see that several massive hurricanes have been Photoshopped. It’s been proven that hurricanes are at a 30 year low. Here are some graphs I found at Watts Up With That:

Both Northern Hemisphere and South Hemisphere AND therefore overall Global hurricane activity has continued to sink to levels not seen since the 1970s. Even more astounding, when the Southern Hemisphere hurricane data is analyzed to create a global value, we see that Global Hurricane Energy has sunk to 30-year lows, at the least. Since hurricane intensity and detection data is problematic as one goes back in time, when reporting and observing practices were different than today, it is possible that we underestimated global hurricane energy during the 1970s.

Using a well-accepted metric called the Accumulated Cyclone Energy index or ACE for short (Bell and Chelliah 2006), which has been used by Klotzbach (2006) and Emanuel (2005) (PDI is analogous to ACE), and most recently by myself in Maue (2009) , simple analysis shows that 24-month running sums of global ACE or hurricane energy have plummeted to levels not seen in 30 years.

Why use 24-month running sums instead of simply yearly values? Since a primary driver of the Earth’s climate from year to year is the El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) acts on time scales on the order of 2-7 years, and the fact that the bulk of the Southern Hemisphere hurricane season occurs from October – March, a reasonable interpretation of global hurricane activity requires a better metric than simply calendar year totals. The 24-month running sums is analogous to the idea of “what have you done for me lately”. During the past 6 months, extending back to October of 2008 when the Southern Hemisphere tropical season was gearing up, global ACE had crashed due to two consecutive years of well-below average Northern Hemisphere hurricane activity. To avoid confusion, I am not specifically addressing the North Atlantic, which was above normal in 2008 (in terms of ACE), but the hemisphere (and or globe) as a whole. The North Atlantic only represents a 1/10 to 1/8 of global hurricane energy output on average but deservedly so demands disproportionate media attention due to the devastating societal impacts of recent major hurricane landfalls.

If you look at the second image I posted; the one with the faux-hurricanes… you’ll notice that the Arctic has magically disappeared! Funny, since the Arctic ice is currently at the SAME levels as 1979. The good people at Daily Tech pointed this out.

Thanks to a rapid rebound in recent months, global sea ice levels now equal those seen 29 years ago, when the year 1979 also drew to a close.

So… tell me… Why does Florida appear to be dissolving in Al Gore’s lame Photoshopped images? What the hell happened to CUBA? Last time I checked; Cuba still exists. Also; look at the SIZE of those faux-hurricanes. Anyone who actually believes this Global Warming bullshit simply WANTS to. There is no other conclusion.

De senaste dagarna så har Mannes mage blitt en gasmaskin. Han är så orolig i magen och pruttar för fullt, men framförallt så blir han orolig och ledsen. Det är väldigt frustrerande och jag funderar på om jag ätit nått konstigt, men jag har inte ändrat min kost, har ätit lika hela tiden. Vi ger honom magmassage och vi lägger honom på rygg och trycker benen mot magen och då blir han plötsligt som en liten beatbox. Det smattrar i baken. Så går det över några minuter och han får ro, sen är det oroligt igen.

Ska till BVC på fredag, ska fråga då om vi ska köpa nått åt honom. Mamma snackade om några droppar som tar bort den värsta spänningen. Det skulle kanske vara skönt för honom. Ska dra ner på mjölkprodukter och se om det blir nån skillnad. Fast redan nu så äter och dricker jag ju redan laktosfria produkter. Så isf är det proteinet som han inte tål… om det nu skulle vara det.

Manne somnar en stund med sin polare som han fått av Sigrid.

Today, Michael Bloomberg’s coalition against illegal guns placed a full-page ad in the Washington Post urging lawmakers to prevent suspects on a federally maintained “terror watch list” from being allowed to purchase guns.

“500 mayors agree with the Obama and Bush Administrations: stop terror suspects from getting guns,” the ad says.

It’s also been an issue that Rahm Emanuel voiced support for back in 2007, according to  this video clip.

“We got to make this a number one issue, as a test vote, and take it into the election.” He added, “If it’s between that terrorist list and the NRA, I know where America is going to be every time.”

Bloomberg said closing this loophole was his “number one priority.” He also offered the following description of why gun control critics have been so successful in blocking this kind of restriction: “There’s extremists in the pro-gun movement who threaten our elected representatives around the country, whether they’re in the legislature or executive side with working to get them removed, to remove them from office if they don’t support the line that the extremists want: no reasonable restrictions, no enforcement of federal laws, elimination of federal laws. And we’ve just got to say ‘we’re not going to take it anymore.”

Ja då var helgen över och inte en enda bild har jag tagit. Jag var duktig på att ta med kameran på 1-års kalaset och på thanksgiving middagen och igår när jag träffade Elin, Emma och Anna-Maria för julbak, men inte en enda bild tog jag. Glömmer liksom ta fram den.

Manne ligger på golvet bredvid mig nu och luftar baken. Han ser så nöjd ut. Skönt att det går bra. Innan tyckte han inte att det var något vidare att ligga på golvet.

Igår var jag som sagt och julbakade lite hos Emma P. Elin H och Anna-Maria var också där. En mysig dag, men lång. När jag kom hem så hade jag vart borta i 10 timmar! Manne hade fullt upp med brudarna. Elins Mary (4 mån) och Emmas Isabella (4 mån). Dom låg och tittade på varann och när Isabella närmade sig Manne på golvet så satte Manne upp benen i vädret och pruttade ljudligt. Allt för att hålla dem borta! Haha..

Bussresan var ett kapitel för sig och jag hoppas att detta var en engångsgrej och att både jag och Elin hade otur.
Vi tog olika bussar till Emma och båda råkade ut för samma menlösa passagerare som inte ville hjälpa till med vagnarna. När jag skulle på så frågade jag nån ung grabb på stationen och det var inga problem, han kastade sig upp och hjälpte mig.

Men när jag skulle av bussen och ställde mig och högt sa “Skulle någon kunna hjälpa mig av med vagnen” så slog alla ner blicken i golvet och låtsades som att dom inte hört mig. Blickade runt igen för att se om det fanns nån som såg duglig ut. Fick syn på en karl i närheten och sa till honom “Skulle du snälla kunna hjälpa mig?”. Med en suck ställde han sig upp och hjälpte mig ner med vagnen! Skulle det vara så jobbigt att hjälpa till?! Jag vart så arg!

Elin kom med bussen efter mig. Ingen ville hjälpa henne heller trots att hon också frågade högt om nån kunde hjälpa. Så till slut krånglade hon sig ner för bussen själv med vagnen och det är inga låga stadsbussar utan såna långfärdsbussar med många, höga trappsteg.

Oj, nu är det lunchtid och jag har inte ens druckit upp mitt frukostkaffe…

Inatt var en fantastisk natt! Manne sov som en stock i sin nya säng och vi som utslagna i våran. Förra natten, hans första i spjälisen, var en fasa. Han gnällde och skrek. Det var inte magknip och inte hunger och blöjan var ren. Men nu i efterhand så vet jag att den luktade nytt och inte mamma och pappa, trots att han hade filten som han brukar ha.
Vi var helt slut på morgonen. Johannes ögon var helt rödsprängda och båda mådde illa. Men vi var tvungna att gå upp, vi skulle på 1-års kalas! Trötta och illamående körde vi vår lilla hyrbil till Oskar, Emma och Isak på Kaggeholm som hade kalas.

Vi hade det jättetrevligt där. Avslappnat och mysigt som vanligt. Dessutom var Jenny och Ola där med sin lilla Sigrid som fyllde ett för några dagar sen. Jag hade inte träffat henne innan så det var kanon. Hon är så lik Jenny. Liten busig lintott.

För att undvika ännu en sömnlös natt inatt så hade han mina två kuddar på var sin sida om sig, så det inte vart så tomt (han är ju så liten i en stor säng). Under sig hade han ett av mina linnen och vid sidan om huvudet ett annat linne som snuttefilt. Han somnade snabbt och han sov först två timmar innan matdax och sen nästan 5 timmar innan nästa! Fantastiskt! Sen fick han sova i våran säng lite till medans vi var uppe och åt frukost.

Senare idag ska vi på thanksgiving dinner hos Emma och Joel och lilla Isabella. Det ska bli mycket trevligt. Berättar mer om det sen.

Hur gärna vi än ville så funkade det inte med hängvaggan. Johannes sparkade i den hela tiden och det vart krångligt att gå upp varje gång Manne tappat nappen. Så då fick han ligga emellan oss. Men man sover inte bra och man får ingen plats. Ligger som i givvakt. Så idag köpte vi en spjälsäng och möblerade om i sovrummet.

Han har vilat i den idag och han verkar trivas, så vi får se hur det går inatt. Sängen står på min sida, så jag kan bara sträcka ut handen och fixa med honom. Samma höjd som våran säng också.

Idag som alla andra dagar, sedan 5 veckor tillbaka, så ägnar jag mig åt min nya hobby. Handtvätt.

Handdukar gnuggas till knogarna lyser röda. Men fläckarna tycks alltid vinna. Och fläckarna är inget annat än spår av Mannes bajsproduktion! Vad är det för fantastiskt färgämne i bajset som gör att det inte går bort?! Måste nog googla detta.

Så här ser dom flesta handdukar ut nu som vi har använt till Manne.
Det kanske blir din gästhandduk nästa gång du hälsar på!

Fick tipset av våran BVC sköterska att han skulle öva upp ryggmusklerna genom att ligga på magen. Inget han är överförtjust i, men det går bättre och bättre varje dag. Nån minut på fm och nån på em. Har lagt upp ett litet klipp på youtube.

Skulle vilja lägga in klippen direkt här, men det kostar pengar så därför använder jag mig av youtube så länge. Men det känns inte heller helt kul. Har ni nån bättre idé så säg till mig.

This is a Much over-due post! So with all the negative press towards Lindsay Lohan, and then the comments of the Ungaro collection shown during Paris Fashion Week, is it truly all that bad, or is it a bunch of obnoxious sensationalism? First, I have to point out that Lindsay is starring in the upcoming film, The Other Side, directed and written by none other than my father. Personally, I wish that people would not believe too much of the press for there is something called “Yellow Journalism.” Yellow Journalism is what many types of media use to promote and capture an audience but leave out the true facts, and exaggerate. Lindsay Lohan is not only a kind person, but she is a hard-worker. With this, she has committed to the role, and thus has proven herself even more so as an exceptional actress. If the collection was so “horrendous” then why did the designer, Estrella Archs, not do anything about it? In all, Lindsay put in her input, and therefore the designer is the one that should control it to make sure it’s Paris-runway-ready. But who knows the true facts? Why do people allow themselves to be influenced so much? Desperate Times cause for Desperate measures to make bank? Then again, many designers end up with a collection that doesn’t end up well with the press at least once in their lifetime. Hopefully, soon, I’ll be able to provide you with somewhat of the truth; so stay tuned and provide your input about the Ungaro S/S collection.

Astăzi ne-a vizitat (şi) preşedintele senatului Mircea Geoană. Nu prea îmi place politica şi evident nici nu mă preocupă, doar mă dezgustă de multe ori.

Întrebările puse domnului Mircea Geoană m-au ajutat însă să cred că sunt oameni care încă mai luptă pentru ceva ce s-ar putea face în ţara noastră (nu mă refer la senator).

Oare îi vor chema si pe ceilalti candidati la prezidenţiale?

Să se întoarcă unii lideri crestini  spre social democratie cum este trendul in Europa sau a foat doar o vizita  de curtoazie a d-lui Geoana?

Este cunoscut ca liderii chiar si de biserici dau trendul.

Biblia ne îndeamnă să ne rugăm pentru conducatori şi să-i sprijinm în ceea ce fac bine.

Bunul simţ ne invaţă să votăm tinând cont şi de carcterul omului.

I helgen så har vi inte haft något planerat. Det har varit väldigt skönt. Inte träffat några och inte gjort nått speciellt. Och  det hade inte heller gått, inser jag nu. Manne har varit hungrigare än någonsin. Han äter hela tiden och efter bara en stund så gnäller han och söker igen. Tänkte först att jag hade slut på mjölk, men det vet jag är omöjligt. För produktionen kan inte bara ta slut över en natt. Men kanske är det en ökningsperiod? Jag går på det. Han behöver mer och ser nu till att flödet blir desto mer.

Ja, så förutom att amma så har jag inte gjort så mycket mer idag. Suttit vid datorn och ätit… Haha. Glädjande nog så har all denna amning gjort att han fixar att ammas utan amningsnapp. För det mesta iaf, och det känns superbra. Krångligt att trixa med amningsnappen hela tiden.

Imorrn är det gudstjänst, men jag tror inte att vi ska gå den här gången heller. För mycket folk och för liten grabb. Tur att det finns livesändning på nätet.

Nä, nu är han hungrig igen…

Duminică, dimineaţa şi seara, Biserica Penticostală “Emanuel” va avea bucuria de a primi vizita familiei Mureşan, din Săcele, judeţul Brasov.

Dacă în vara anului 2008, după călătoria în Turcia, fratele păstor Daniel Mureşan,  ne-a informat despre lucrarea de misiune din Turcia, acum a venit rândul Indiei. În cadrul întâlnirii de duminică dimineaţa, fratele Daniel Mureşan, păstor al Bisericii Penticostale din Săcele, ne va introduce în LUCRAREA DE MISIUNE DIN INDIA, ca urmare a călătoriei misionare pe care a întreprins-o.
Serviciul de seară va fi un timp de evanghelizare, iar fratele Daniel va sluji prin vestirea Cuvântului, iar soţia şi copiii prin cântare.  Toţi cei interesaţi sunteţi aşteptaţi cu drag, duminică orele 9-12 şi 18-20 la Biserica Penticostală “Emanuel” – Str. Fratii Grachi, nr.3. Multă pace !!!
