According to the Associated Press, the Swiss voted for a constitutional amendment to ban Mosque Minarets. The reasoning was that the government was fearful that Muslims were going to take over the religious atmosphere in Switzerland. The Muslim population only consists of 6% of Switzerland.

This is extremely disgusting act against human rights and freedom of Religion. It would be akin to banning Church Crosses, the Star of David, or any religious symbol out of discrimination and fear. I hope that the Swiss population and surrounding European countries push against this blatant act against religious freedom.

Sekatan Jalan Raya Untuk Sweeping Orang Malaysia

Hasutan Media Indonesia yang katanya dikuasai Kristian yang tidak henti-henti menyemarakkan api kebencian rakyat Indonesia terhadap Malaysia. Tidakkah mereka sedar mereka sudah diperalatkan dan sudah dijadikan Boneka oleh Media Indonesia yang dikuasai Kristian itu?

Insiden Sekatan Jalan Raya untuk melakukan Sweeping Orang Malaysia di Indonesia itu sekaligus membuktikan masih ada rakyat Indonesia yang berfikiran seperti negara dunia ketiga kerana tidak mampu berfikir secara rasional tentang sesuatu isu yang timbul, malah perkara kecil pun diperbesarkan seolah-olah itu perjuangan yang amat penting.

Sebenarnya mereka patut mempersoalkan kenapa Media-Media Indonesia itu bersungguh-sungguh untuk melaga-lagakan Indonesia dengan Malaysia sudah tentu ada motif yang terselindung yang mereka ingin gapai ataupun ada tangan-tangan tertentu yang meminta Media mereka membuat hasutan.

Nasihat penulis untuk warga Indonesia, tidakkah dengan membuat sekatan begitu seolah-olah mengancam nyawa rakyat Malaysia di Indonesia dalam masa sama dalam tidak sedar mereka juga telah mengancam nyawa TKI yang berada di Malaysia, namun orang Malaysia masih berfikiran rasional dan tidak berfikir ‘kolot’ sepertimana mereka berfikir jadi rakyat Malaysia membiarkan tanpa mengancam nyawa TKI yang berada di Malaysia.

Sedarlah wahai rakyat Indonesia tindakan kamu itu bakal merugikan kamu sendiri, sebagai contoh berapa banyak syarikat-syarikat Indonesia yang berniaga di Malaysia, apa akan jadi sekiranya rakyat Malaysia memboikot produk-produk syarikat berkenaan, tidakkah kamu sendiri yang akan mengalami kerugian.

Bagaimana pula sekiranya rakyat Malaysia mendesak Kerajaan Malaysia menghantar semua TKI yang mencari rezeki di Malaysia dan juga mengharamkan terus penggunaan TKI oleh majikan di Malaysia, tidakkah mereka sendiri yang akan kerugian sekaligus menutup rezeki untuk rakyat Mereka sendiri. Tidakkah mereka terfikir itu semua, sepatutnya mereka berfikir sebelum bertindak bukanya bertindak sebelum berfikir.

“Le nombre officiel de personnes dansant en même temps a été de 13.607″, selon un communiqué de l’Institut de la Jeunesse de la Ville de Mexico, révisant à la hausse le chiffre 12.937 annoncé la veille.

Plus de 50.000 personnes, qui avaient afflué devant le Monument de la Révolution pour assister à la tentative des danseurs de “Thriller”, ont en effet chanté les “Mananitas” pour l’anniversaire de Michael Jackson, qui aurait eu 51 ans samedi.

TAKZIAH di atas kembalinya ke Rahmatullah ADUN PAS Permatang Pasir, Pulau Pinang iaitu Allahyarham Hamdan Abdul Rahman, 60. Allahyarham dikatakan menghebuskan nafasnya yang terakhir di Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) Kuala Lumpur pada pagi tadi.

Untuk rekod dalam pilihan raya yang lalu Hamdan berjaya mengekalkan kerusi tersebut dengan majoriti 5,433 menewaskan Calon BN Ahmad Sahar Shuib. Allahyarham dikatakan menyandang kerusi berkenaan sejak tahun 1999, Tahun 2004 beliau menang dengan majoriti 697 undi. Allahyarham juga merupakan seorang ADUN PAS tunggal dalam DUN Pulau Pinang dan menjadi ADUN disitu selama tiga penggal.

Allahyarham meninggalkan seorang balu dan enam orang anak. Semoga Allah tuhan seru sekian alam mencucuri rahmat ke atas rohnya hendaknya. Samalah-samalah kita sedekahkan Al-Fatihah untuk Allahyarham.

Sudah menjadi kelaziman jika ada seorang ADUN Meninggal Dunia, selepas itu soal Pilihan Raya Kecil akan dibincangkan mengenai perihal siapa bakal jadi calon, parti mana yang mempunyai peluang dan permasalahan-permasalahan parti-parti yang bertanding.

Per l’associazione il Belpaese ha ben altri problemi: “Invitiamo i detrattori dell’eolico – scrive in un comunicato - sicuramente disinformati e con un evidente strabismo rispetto alla situazione ambientale del Paese, a leggersi i nostri ultimi rapporti sulle Ecomafie e sull’abusivismo costiero, sulle 6mila cave attive e 10mila abbandonate in Italia e ad andarsi a fare un giro per i cantieri autostradali nel Nord Italia e nelle periferie delle città italiane: 3 milioni di alloggi costruiti negli ultimi 10 anni di cui il 10 per cento abusivi.

Forse capirebbero qualcosa dei veri problemi del paesaggio italiano e supererebbero un approccio snobistico e superficiale a questioni vere”.

Tusshar Kapoor has finally seen success and acknowledgement for it too. He has been flying high after the success of Golmaal Returns. He
won the Star-Screen Award for best actor in a comic role for his performance in the movie, where he essayed the role of a mute boy.

And now, he is all set to play a double role in Golmaal 3. Tusshar neither conformed nor denied the reports. “I have not heard the script of Golmaal 3 yet. So I really can’t share any details right now. But
well, if there is a double-role for me, I would love to do it.”

Besides that he will also be seen in the remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Golmaal to be made by Satish Kaushik. Tusshar is, reportedly playing Amol Palekar’s role in the film but to avoid confusion the film’s title will be different.

He is also looking forward to the release of Rumi Jaffrey’s Life Partner opposite Prachi Desai.

Tusshar Kapoor is playing the role of a traditional Gujarati guy based in South Africa married to Prachi Desai. Tusshar has also finished working on Neeraj Vora’s comedy Run Bhola Run.

Emraan Hashmi as his marriage with long time girlfriend Pravin was almost on the verge of a break-up. Emraan Hashmi was shooting for ‘Jannat’ in South Africa and based on insiders the actor would head to the strip bars and hang around with her friends after the shoot.

It was also rumored that Emraan was getting close to his co-star Sana Khan and the two have been spending a lot of time on-n-off the sets, which has been a concern for Parvin.

When Emraan returned to Mumbai the couple had a big showdown and based on sources. But now the couple are married and are very comfirtable with each other.

No room for annotations in machine readable passports (MRP)

The Passport Director’s Office of the Office of Consular Affairs (PDO-OCA), DFA Manila recently emphasized that machine readable passports (MRPs) that have been issued by Philippine Foreign Service establishments since last year “do not have any page or space for annotation”. This was made in response to a query of the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah on whether the Muslim name adopted by a Filipino national who has converted to Islam could be annotated on his passport.

Hence, PDO-OCA advised that those who wish to use their Muslim names in their passports should instead “apply for a change of name in an appropriate court.” A mere annotation of such name cannot be introduced in the machine readable passport because it “does not have any page or space” for the purpose. PDO-OCA added that the amendment page could not be used for the supposed annotation “because any amendment would not be reflected in the machine readable zone (MRZ)”. In this regard, the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah shall be issuing a pro forma appropriate consular certification on religious affiliation or Muslim name of a Philippine passport holder and shall officially inform the Saudi government about this per PDO-OCA’s advice.

PDO-OCA based its position on Section 12 of Republic Act No. 8239, otherwise known as the Passport Act of 1996, which provides: “Sec. 12. Names and Titles. – The passport shall contain the full name of the applicant, but shall not include his title or titles or profession or job description. If an applicant’s name is changed by order of the court, a certified true copy of the court order or decree shall be submitted together with the birth certificate or old passport on application.” It further explained that within the purview of this provision of law, “only the name and personal circumstances of the holder as appearing in his birth certificate shall be reflected in the passport (i.e. date/place of birth, sex) to be issued. No other annotation or remark is permitted.”

Gentile Presidente del Consiglio, Desideriamo sottoporre alla Sua attenzione le seguenti considerazioni. Premesso che:

- la Conferenza Internazionale sul Clima che si terrà a Copenhagen dal 7 al 18 dicembre 2009, avrà il compito di definire una serie di obiettivi e di strumenti per contrastare il cambiamento climatico (il cosiddetto “post-Kyoto”, più propriamente “post-2012”);

- il Presidente degli Stati Uniti ha invitato il 28 marzo scorso, le sedici maggiori economie mondiali, l’Unione europea e le Nazioni Unite a partecipare a un Forum sul cambiamento climatico, al fine di facilitare il raggiungimento di un accordo alla Conferenza di Copenhagen;

- l’obiettivo del Forum è pervenire a una proposta condivisa di alto profilo, da approvare nel corso dall’incontro conclusivo di tutti i Paesi invitati, che avrà luogo in Italia, alla Maddalena, in luglio, in concomitanza con il G8 da Lei presieduto;

- Lei ha dato una risposta positiva alla lettera con cui il Presidente degli Stati Uniti La informava dell’iniziativa;

- la prima riunione preparatoria del Forum avrà luogo a Washington il 27 e 28 aprile p.v., e l’Italia che presiederà il G8, sarà chiamata a svolgervi un ruolo di primo piano;

desideriamo esprimerLe la nostra preoccupazione per la concomitanza fra il caloroso assenso da Lei dato all’iniziativa del Presidente degli Stati Uniti (che di fatto teneva conto della migliore conoscenza scientifica attualmente disponibile in merito, riaffermata tra l’altro dall’International Climate Congress di Copenaghen del 10-12 marzo scorso e da tutte le pubblicazioni scientifiche presentate dopo la pubblicazione del IV Rapporto IPCC) e la mozione approvata dal Senato il 2 aprile scorso che, sulla base di affermazioni scientifiche non condivise dalla grande maggioranza dei climatologi, nella sostanza mette in dubbio o comunque ridimensiona i rischi non solo ambientali, ma anche economici del riscaldamento del pianeta.
