Wuertz Farm's 10th Annual Gourd Festival Feb 1-3, 2013

Cindy and I had the most fun attending the Wuertz Farm’s 10th annual gourd festival this past weekend. The Wuertz farm’s gourd festival is a nationally acclaimed event featuring three days of looking, learning, entertainment and fun including over 100 gourd artists and vendors, an Arizona gourd society’s judged show and 4 days of reserved classes. Cindy and I both took a class and we came away with a shaman doll and a pine needle wrapped gourd. If you’re a gourd enthusiast, this is the place to spend a weekend. Preparing for the upcoming Windsor Holiday Show in November

Today, Cindy, Mom and I worked on some of the gourds that you’ll see at the upcoming Quality Crafters and Windsor Optimist Club Holiday Show. We’re so excited about this show as it will be our 1st showing in our home town. Please come and say “hi”. Here’s a funky/fun gourd that Cindy recently finished.

Cindy and Adrienne will have their decorative gourds on display at the Madison Gallery in Greeley April 30 through June 29, 2012. Please come and enjoy their work along with the works of 13 other artists on May 4 (5-8pm) when there will be an opening reception.

The Madison & Main Gallery is an artists’ cooperative gallery organized in 1987 by artists from Northern Colorado. Our members include about 20 artists plus several consignment artists. We are painters, potters, jewelers, sculptors, wood crafters, stained glass artists, fiber artists, basket makers, photographers and mixed-media artists who are dedicated to artistic innovation and expression.

Our Gallery is located at 927 16th Street, Greeley Colorado. We are open to the public 10 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and 10 am to 4 pm Saturday. Windsor-Severance Library Juried Art Show and Silent Auction

The Windsor-Severance Library in Windsor, Colorado is displaying 95 original artworks from 3/8/12 to 4/10/12. Anyone may bid on the art and meet the artists at the closing event Tuesday, April 10th, 6-8pm. The 3-D award was bestowed on Adrienne’s gourd “Fall into Winter”!
