Seja ela bordada em tapeçaria, com malhas de metal, ou ostentando o luxo da Belle Epoque. O fato é que, com o passar dos anos, a bolsa cada vez mais se consolida como um acessório indispensável para guardar desde itens pequenos, como batom ou brincos, a livros e pecas do vestuário. Relatos históricos comprovam sua existência muito antes da Idade Media. As bolsas também fizeram historia nos séculos XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX e XX. E através da bolsa que, artistas como Paul Poiret, Gabrielle Chanel, Emilio Pucci, Mary Quant, e o consagrado Louis Vuitton, alcançaram o sucesso. E por meio da arte e da moda, a bolsa evoluiu ao longo das décadas: 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, e 90.

Não existe na história, referências de como seria a primeira bolsa. Mas desde o início dos tempos a comunicação já estava enraizada na vida humana e os povos primitivos já retratavam uma série de símbolos através das pinturas rupestres (pinturas em rochas). Esses povos registraram através dos desenhos seus costumes. Foram achados pinturas com imagens femininas com bolsa penduradas no braço. Os grupos pré-históricos eram nômades e se deslocavam de acordo com a necessidade de obter alimentos. Como já haviam descoberto que a pele dos animais servia para a proteção do corpo, podem ter desenvolvido também um sistema de receptáculos para carregar e proteger suas caças.

Uma das primeiras citações sobre bolsa feminina, encontra-se na Bíblia, no livro de Isaías, capítulo 3:16, que diz:

“Naquele dia tirará o Senhor os seus enfeites: os anéis dos artelhos, as toucas, os colares em forma de meia-lua, os brincos, os braceletes, os vestidos, os diademas, as cadeias dos artelhos, os cintos, os amuletos, as caixinhas de perfumes, os mantos, os xales, as bolsas, os espelhos as capinhas de linho e as tiaras.

(Essa palavras foram escritas entre os anos de 750 a.C.)

O Alforje- era um saco de couro que podia ser usado na cintura, nos ombros ou na sela dos animais. Foi a bolsa utilizada principalmente pelos homens para carregar alimentos ou dinheiro durante a Idade Antiga.

Katsui graduated from Central Saint Martins College after studying at Parsons The New School for Design. Yagi graduated from Doshisha University and Central Saint Martins College.
The brand, mintdesigns was launched in 2001. They have been in Tokyo Collection since ‘03 S/S. The awards they won include the Moet et Chandon New Designer’s Award in 2005. In 2007, mintdesigns garage store opened in Shibuya PARCO. They presented their collection in the 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT THIS PLAY! show. In 2008, they presented the opening show at São Paulo Fashion Week for ‘09 S/S. Both designers currently hold positions as guest professors at the Faculty of Art and Design at Osaka Seikei University. In 2009 they presented their collection at the Milano Salone TOKYO FIBER ‘09.Mint Designs turned out a dainty crop of dresses featuring details such as shimmery stripes, textured fabric and quirky graphics. One frock featured a darling print of tiny Charlie Chaplins, while another showcased circular cutouts along the sides.

After the exhibition at the Petit Palais, the Museum of Fine Arts in Paris, save the date of the Designer Frimousses dolls auction on 19 November at Drouot Montaigne, Paris’s prestigious auction house. Since 2003, fashion designers and artists have worked to create something beautiful to help children of Darfur, crafting dolls that become veritable works of art. The whole amount raised during the auction will support the vaccination programme in one of the regions most devastated by the deadly conflict there. Today, more than 4.7 million people are affected, of which 2.2 million are children. Thanks to the Designer Frimousse operation, under the aegis of Laeticia Hallyday, ambassador for UNICEF France, UNICEF carries out the fight for children vaccination every year in the region of Darfur. Vaccination, a method that is both very effective and inexpensive, would prevent these deadly diseases from a very young age (diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio) and would eradicate this scourge that affects thousands of children every day. The 2008 sale raised 219,130 Euros, used directly on the ground to finance emergency : in the Darfur region, 260,000 children and 195,000 pregnant women received vaccines. Don’t forget these dolls will be sold at auction on 19 November at Drouot Montaigne:

Après l’exposition au Petit Palais, n’oubliez pas la vente aux enchères des Frimousses de créateurs  demain: 19 Novembre, à Drouot Montaigne, Paris. Depuis 2003, créateurs de mode et artistes créent des poupées de collection uniques, de véritables oeuvres d’art pour venir en aide aux enfants du Darfour. La totalité des fonds collectés lors de la vente aux enchères soutiendra les programmes de vaccination dans une des régions les plus dévastées par des conflits meurtriers. Soit aujourd’hui, 4,7 millions de personnes, dont 2,2 millions d’enfants affectées. Grâce à l’opération Frimousses de Créateurs sous l’égide de Laeticia Hallyday, Marraine de l’Unicef France, l’Unicef se bat tous les ans pour la vaccination des enfants dans la région du Darfour. Car la vaccination est un moyen très efficace et peu couteux de prévenir et d’éradiquer les maladies invalidantes meurtrières dès le plus jeune âge (diphtérie, tétanos, coqueluche, poliomyélite, rougeole). L’édition Frimousses de Créateurs 2008 a permis d’envoyer sur le terrain 219 130 € pour financer les activités de vaccination en urgence. 260 000 enfants et 198 000 femmes enceintes recevront des vaccins. This Emilio Pucci Bean Clutch pushes the boundaries of typical handbags or clutches.  This shiny, hard clutch hinges open and I assume fits comfortably into the palm of your hand.  One negative, however, is that I am sure ever smudge or mark is very evident on the shiny surface.  Doesn’t stop me for lusting for it.  I’ll save my $1,385 pennies!!

Emilio Pucci’s latest ads benefit wholly from the photographic talent of controversial Juergen Teller and from the presence of graceful, captivating Italian model, Mariacarla Boscono. Seen here dressed in luxurious psychedelic geometric prints pulling her best upclass poses but not in the bland, obnoxious sense.

This show is full of beautiful pieces.  The dresses are beautiful, right amount of tight, short, longer, flowy to fill my wardrobe.

BIG note to younger Sprinkled In Pink readers though, please know that the bodies on these models are very rare.  In my every day life I only every blue moon see a woman with a body as skinny as the models on the the runways…so EAT!

Eat healthy and love your beautiful body just the way it is!

NOW to the clothes!!!

Sebagai pekerja kreatif, saya sangatlah memahami bagaimana sulitnya menemukan sebuah ide. Yang layak dilontarkan kepada atasan. Yang layak dipresentasikan ke klien. Yang sampai akhirnya mereka menyukai dan membeli ide tersebut.

Posisi kreatif ini rasanya tidak jauh berbeda dengan para desainer tas diluar sana. Mereka berlomba-lomba memikirkan  ide kira-kira bentuk seperti apa yang akan membuat perempuan mau membeli tas mereka. Dan ide tentunya bisa datangdari hal-hal yang sederhana. Mulai dari kehidupan sekitar kita, perempuan yang menunggu di halte, poster film sampai sebuah…kacang polong.

Kacang polong? Weeeew…kenapa tidak? Bukankah bentuknya sangat unik? Bukan sekedar bundar, tapi bundarnya melekuk dibagian tengah. Bentuknya pun luwes karena tidak ada ujung yang tajam. Lalu dikarenakan bentuknya yang memang mungil, mengapa tidak dijadikan sebagai inspirasi untuk membuat clutch?

Andrea Tiller worked her first season of collections in Milan cutting her teeth on the likes of Salvatore Ferragamo, Emilio Pucci, Antonio Marras, Moschino and Fisico.  Working with Key Artist such as Lisa Butler, Sam Bryant, Val Garland and Cait Callahan. This is definitely the first of many.  Nice work Mamacita.

De la paleta de grises y marrones que observamos en la september last week pasamos a un display (el de la izquierda) que transmite un concepto totalmente distinto traducido en más frescura y un color que aún no habíamos visto en los escaparates de Pucci: el rosa.

Recordad que este tono ya ha sido expuesto por Chanel, Dior, Michael Kors y Versace dese finales de agosto a septiembre. Nos faltaba la propuesta de Pucci, que para el escaparate de Sloane Street luce una versión distinta al de la pasarela.

You can never go wrong with Pucci. This kaleidoscopic geometric print dress is great for a night out by itself or at work with this seasons boyfriend blazer or my personal favorite shrunken blazer.

4. Haute Hippie: Jersey tutu tank dress $445

I’m in love with Haute Hippie’s beige jersey tank dress with blush tutu skirt. I love how NET-A-PORTER’s stylist put textured ankle boots and a biker jacket to complete the look.

5. T by Alexander Wang: Jersey one-shoulder dress $95

T by Alexander Wang’s black jersey one-shoulder dress is a major trend this season add a chunky choker and funky embellished booties and your good to go! And at $95 you can’t go wrong with this.

6. McQ: Draped jersey dress $235

This dramatically draped navy jersey dress from McQ is probably be my favorite dress in the cart! Jersey is so easy to wear either pair it with boots and leggings and oversized belt, or bare legs booties and a leather jacket.
