The working hard part was useful. It gave me experience and the tools to build lists, convert to sales and help people to do the same. But it was very, very hard to build a consistent business because the attrition was so significant. Each month I was on the leaderboards for recruitment but if there was a loser board for attrition I think I would be somewhere near the top of that too!

So my income was consistent but it never reached the levels that the sales pitches persuaded me was possible with the various compensation plans.

Overwhelm, confusion, disappointment are often the emotions of newbie marketers using the internet. It fills the pockets of those who create the businesses, begin the hype and launches that disappoint so many. I get messages about new launches multiple times a day.

I see these 100% commission opportunities and they are not 100% because you pay an affiliate fee! Each of them encourage you to spend more and more each month. They are basic training sites.

There is a saying: “I am happy in my skin.” Well…. that is how I feel. I am happy that I have made the choices I have made over the last few years. I am working with great people. I get uplifted every day when I hear of peoples health improving. I get cheques every week and my bank balance is showing a big BLACK number. I travel overseas regularly to meet my member friends.

So if you are low ticket – then go for someone who can teach you how to make money with limited investment as an affiliate marketer – Chris Farrell is my best recommendation.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts on this. Am I wrong? Can the newbie without experience really earn a high 6 figure income with these low ticket MLM and internet member site packages? I couldn’t and I was regarded as a success!

If you have a great product (or the best!) then you don’t mind backing that up.  This is where, in the water machine industry, the facts do matter.

To keep it simple, I will simply compare two.  Enagic and Tyent.

I went to the Enagic website.  I figured if a warranty was to be had, then I should be able to find it on their site.  You would think so, anyway.  There is nowhere to SEE the warranty that is on their machine.  I looked through all of the links.  Nothing.  NO ONE IS SHOWING their warranty on their machine!  Now why is that, I wonder?  All that bragging about what they’ll cover, what the company covers, not one word that can be viewed for the consumer to confirm.

I did read, though, that it is a FIVE YEAR warranty.  Not sure what the conditions are.  You can see on some of their distributor’s sites all sorts of promises about what it will cover.  Yet no copy of the warranty details online.  No copy of the warranty on the Enagic company page.  Nothing FROM the company that will back up what the distributors say.

And yes, because their machines break, you can get (as they recommend because it will save you $$ in the long run….which means the machines break) an additional THREE year warranty added on the original five year complimentary warranty…for a price.  Several hundred dollars extra.   Isn’t that special?

Tyent, on the other hand, does just that.  It IS on their company’s website.  In fact, you can click right HERE  to read it.

Now I don’t know about you, but this song and dance around “we’re the best! but make sure you buy the extra 3 year warranty cuz it’s darn expensive when your machine breaks!” just doesn’t fool me.  Does it fool you?

For a company boasting to be “Medical Grade” or “Medical Approved” and yet they only offer a small warranty on a machine they say on their site will only last 15 years at best.

Me?  I’m taking my machine past 15 years you can count on it!  With a lifetime warranty (read it!)…unless I drop the darn thing, it will be at my sink serving up healthy water for a long, long time.

Put your money where your mouth is, Enagic!  If you have the best machine, put a lifetime warranty on it with no stipulations!  Otherwise, stop trying to dupe the public that isn’t yet educated on ionizer machines and the choices they do have for their own homes.

And while we’re all being entertained here, you’ll get a hoot out of this video!  I don’t know about you, but if I had younger kids in the house, I wouldn’t want one of those machines in my home.  Yet, they don’t warn parents with young children what they’re getting, or getting in to.  They simply take the money and breathe a sigh of relief that they found someone that didn’t yet learn how to use Google effectively for research!

GO ORGANIC!  Lose the chemicals!  Buy the machine that fits your budget AND produces alkaline ionized water!  Maybe it’s Tyent?  I don’t know.  I simply knew, for me, that a lifetime warranty was a good indicator that they were behind the product they made and it was a protection of my investment (albeit HALF of what I would have spent for Enagic).

Thoughts, anyone?

Here’s a post I received from a friend.  She had asked an Enagic rep about the difference between Tyent and Enagic.  Here’s what he said:

“…. I’ve looked at the Tyent info and spoken with friends who have tested theit machines. A couple of things…Tyent offers a ‘Lifetime warranty’ It does not say whose lifetime is guaranteed (the purchaser, the company, the equipment?) It does not say that the Titanium/platinum plates are medical grade or food grade….an important difference. It does have a machine at $3995 in line with Enagic’s $3980. A friend who had been giving away free water from his Enagic machine bought a Tyent. His customers en masse found their unhealthy conditions returned. They were very unhappy!. Enagic has been the leader in this technology for over 36 years. There are many newcomers. When the US Navy tested numerous machines to send processed water to the trapped Chilean miners it was the Enagic machine chosen. In any case we can go on making comparisons, the important thing is to compare like with like and I am satisfied there is no product I would recommend over the Enagic….”

Now, are you ready for the FACTS?

First of all, Tyent DOES say that the lifetime warranty is the machine’s warranty. The MACHINE IS WARRANTED for life. I once asked an Enagic rep “if your machine is so superior, how come Enagic doesn’t warrant it for life?” Got no answer to that one.

Titanium: Really? Titanium is titanium. It is, however, medical grade (Tyent’s). They just never bothered to look in to the facts on the competitors. And, again, titanium is titanium. What, exactly, does “big difference” mean? (I love how they throw out phrases like that but have no information for it, it just makes “them” sound like they are better.)

Tyent does NOT have a machine that costs $3995. The $3995 is for the Evontis line of “whole home health” products. For that price tag (only $15 more), you get the machine (more plates, more power, more organic than enagic) AS WELL AS two shower head/filters, THREE air ionizers to put in your home and some nutrient drink mixes to start off with. Included, as well, would be a “to go” pH bottle for filling up at the gym rather than running out to your car for a refill on your water bottle, and also a stainless water bottle to drink from as the stainless helps to keep the ionization “more lively” so to speak.

For the most part, Tyent’s top of the line machine is about $2k LESS than Enagic’s.

As for the “friend” story–I find it hard to believe that a person who owns a $4k Enagic machine would turn around and pay additional for a Tyent machine (unless Enagic’s broke) and then hand out the water only to find it was bringing back unhealthy conditions. That is just not true. It’s funny how every Enagic rep I have a chance to speak with or correspond with has this same “friend.” ALL the machines put out a high pH and low ORP water. The difference used to be that Enagic was the only one in the MLM market, so if you felt you would promote the water and want to get paid, it was basically your only choice.  Not any more.  

Again–the internet is a valuable resource.  I have checked around and have yet to read a “personal testimonial” that states a medical condition returning when they changed the type of water.  And by the way…if an Enagic machine puts out, let’s say a 9.5 pH and a -400 ORP, and the Tyent machine puts out, let’s say a 9.5 pH and a -400 ORP (mine puts out lower than -800 ORP!)….how can a medical condition “return” because the *machine* was changed?  That just doesn’t make sense.  That’s my issue.  These statements are thrown at the unknowing person without time for reason or logic to enter the realm as they push, push, push for you to make the same mistake they did…buying a $1700 machine for $4000!

As for the 36 year thing: Japan and Korea are both the countries making these machines. Both have been at it for some time. More than likely, close to equal time. Enagic didn’t hit the US until about 2007, I believe. Somewhere around there. So it is fairly new to the US market. Jupiter was here long before that. But they were more or less a “dealer” sale rather than MLM setup.  Here’s an interesting thought:  How come, if Enagic (or Kangen) has been in / around Japan for over 35 years…how come only 25% of the population in Japan uses the water?

Technology: Enagic has not been leading this technology at all. In the 5 or so years they have been here they have NEVER changed the technology in their machines. Others have gone to better technology. I can go on and on about those differences, but the reality is, they can’t afford to change the technology because they have come out against other technology (that yields the same results) and they are paying so much out in commissions that they can’t come up with anything new other than changing the face plate of their machines to stainless and charging $400 more if you want that look.

US Navy and Enagic: This is funny! Do these people NEVER learn to research their statements before putting it out there? The US Navy NEVER tested the Enagic machines against others to then send Enagic over to Chilean miners. Sheesh!   They NEVER tested it against other machines.   Their “Ms.Chile” (like ms. america) went to the government  and insisted they consider  providing that water. Again…..twisted truths. Google is a wonderful resource. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve caught them (Enagic reps) in blatant lies that are easily uncovered through google!

You’d think they’d learn….

It was a good thing, the water, for the miners to have.  I agree.  But let’s not forget, the miners were getting high alkaline/low ORP (depending on source water) water.  Period.  Could have come from any machine.  Enagic doesn’t have the corner on the market of high pH/low ORP water.  Period.

It’s not that one machine is better than another. In fact, I believe Tyent (based on the specs) does make a better machine.   Enagic reps are trying to justify their price tag being $2300 higher than it really needs to be in order to pay out hefty commissions.

But…I prefer a machine that ORGANICALLY makes the water. In fact, Enagic cannot be at the Healing Life Festival here in VAB because they have a chemical additive to their machines in order to make their water hit the high pH and low pH levels. But Tyent/Evontis CAN be there because their machines hit those levels without the use of chemicals.

AND…LIFETIME WARRANTY! (smile)

I believe many of them are just *irritated* because they spent $4k on a machine and didn’t think to research it properly and when others do…it simply makes them feel stupid. But with a THREE DAY return rate (oh, by the way, ours is THIRTY days!)….what can you do?

I’m glad he’s happy with his machine. But if it were that great, why do they have to twist words and lie? That’s my question!
