Behind the scenes look at the Endless Drama shoot. It took two days to shoot 8 commercials. We also shot green screen footage of all the cast members and MLB players so we could incorporate into the Website. I Directed all the green screen Footage, it was fantastic 2 days.

I’m not really sure what to make of this. ESPN has put out a web series called Endless Drama in support of their big Fantasy Baseball social network.

After watching a couple of episodes of this silly and not really terrible endeavor I’m left scratching my head. Is a mock-soap opera really the best way to target people who play fantasy baseball? Is there a secret demo of male soap viewers that happen to also be big baseball fans?

Anyone?

Before Catch 24 launches the new jorgeposada.com web site, Jorge will make a debut of his own, as a soap opera star. In ESPN’s new ad campaign “Endless Drama“, Jorge plays, well, “Jorge”. Opposite, his wife Laura (named Flora), they appear in the dramatic webisode series. Move over Laura and Luke and Marlana and John, there is a new player in town.

Arnold Worldwide, a Boston bases ad agency developed the series for ESPN.
