This epic recording brings together Latin artists under a common cause. The project is an initiative to help create public awareness within the Hispanic community about bone marrow donation.

The project includes a musical campaign with a historical song and video to premiere on February 11, 2010. It will then be released for broadcast around the world.

Un videoclip în care apare cântărețul Enrique Iglesias este pe punctul de a deveni unul dintre cele mai vizionate dintre cele care circulă pe Internet, anunță ediția online a ziarului ”El Mundo”. Videoclipul a apărut pe pagina de Internet a fotografului și directorului american David LaChapelle.

Este vorba despre o filmare pentru videoclipul cunoscutei melodii ”Sad Eyes”, a lui Bruce Springsteen. Filmarea a fost cenzurată de postul de televiziune MTV în anul 2000. În ea se poate vedea cum Enrique Iglesias se masturbează în timp ce privește un program de televiziune în care apare o femeie care-l invită să o sune la telefon.

Femeia care apare în acest videoclip se numește Cassidey, o cunoscută vedetă porno, de care Iglesias a fost foarte atras. De altfel, în același videoclip, el poate fi văzut în niște scene fierbinți alături de Cassidey. Femeia îi face striptease la o bară pornește spre tavan chiar dintre picioarele cântărețului. ”Un simplu joc de imagini și mesaje pentru admiratoarele sale?”, se întreabă ”El Mundo”. Looks like Latin heartthrob Enrique Iglesias isn’t looking to play tennis with someone else. Enrique sparked some breakup rumors when he recently revealed to Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet that he and Anna Kournikova had been secretly married and were now divorced.

“We’re divorced. I am single now, but that’s okay,” he told the newspaper. “I don’t mind being alone.”

But sources close to his “wife” reveal that they are still together and Enrique was only joking. A rep for the couple revealed after five years, ”they are still together.“

In my opinion Enrique began this rumor himself to stir up some controversy. After all he does have an album coming out in June. We all know how controversies always help to sell more records.

“I can never find extra-small condoms, and I know it’s really embarrassing for people – you know, from experience” Enrique Iglesias once told Esquire Magazine.

Lifestyle Condoms has apparently stepped up to the plate and is offering Enrique $1 million dollars to prove that they have something that will actually fit him. Only under one condition, he has to put it on and model.

I still think the guy was joking when he made that comment. It was probably one of those things that were taken out of context and Lifestyle Condoms has decided to get some publicity from it. I must say its smart marketing on their behalf.

Enrique ha tenido muchas experiencias con gente que, sin ser coleccionista, tiene unas cuantas monedas y desea venderlas. No suele ser sencillo hacer negocios con esa gente porque lo normal es que sean muy desconfiados y piensen que intentas engañarles. España siempre ha sido un país de pícaros y eso forja un carácter.

Lo más normal, todo hay que decirlo, es que las monedas que te ofrezcan no valgan para nada. Suelen ser chatarrilla de Franco toda circulada o algo de plata que no valga más que su peso. Ya dijimos que cuando nos encontramos unas monedas, lo normal es que no valgan casi nada. No obstante, siempre merece la pena echarlas un vistazo porque hay veces que hay sorpresas.

En el caso de que haya suerte y alguna pieza merezca la pena, lo primero que hay que tener claro es que el propietario de la moneda tiene algo que nosotros queremos (la moneda); pero nosotros tenemos algo que él quiere (saber qué moneda merece la pena y cuánto vale). Esto lo aprendió Enrique cuando regaló su conocimiento a una señora que, supuestamente, estaba interesada en venderle unas monedas.

Una vez que Enrique fue a casa de la señora, ésta le mostró un montón de monedas, amontonadas en álbumes, bolsas y cajones. Eran monedas que su madre había dejado y no sabían muy bien qué valor tenían. Allí había muy poca cosa que mereciese la pena, de hecho, sólo había una moneda interesante, pero esa era muy interesante: se trataba de un céntimo de 1906 SMV que estaba prácticamente sin circular. Enrique, con toda su buena voluntad, le explicó a la señora que no tenía gran cosa, que las únicas monedas que podrían valer algo eran las de plata, simplemente por peso, y que aquel céntimo era bastante valioso, ofreciéndole una buena suma de dinero por él.

En ese momento la señora le suelta: “No, si no estoy interesada en vender ninguna moneda”.

Enrique se quedó con un palmo de narices: había actuado con buena voluntad con una señora que no conocía de nada, ofreciéndole asesoramiento y un dinero justo por las monedas que tenía, y en cuanto la señora supo lo que quería saber le mandó a paseo. Ella había conseguido a un plingado que le tasó gratuitamente las monedas y santas pascuas, no quería saber nada más de él.

Cuando se le pasó el enfado a Enrique recapacitó y se dio cuenta de su error: nunca hay que dar el valor de una pieza concreta.

Unos meses más tarde una pareja joven se puso en contacto con Enrique y le dijeron que tenían unas monedas de su padre. Enrique fue a su casa y las vio. La situación era semejante: la mayoría de las monedas no servían para nada, pero había una muy interesante (la variante UNA – LIBRE – GRANDE, de la que ya hablaremos). Parecía que los chicos tenían buena voluntad, pero Enrique se cubrió las espaldas y les ofreció un dinero por todas las monedas que tenían en casa, sin indicarles cuáles le interesaban. Ellos le preguntaron si todas merecían la pena o si había alguna que costase mucho más que el resto, a lo que Enrique contestó que pocas de ellas merecían la pena. Entonces le pidieron que preferían venderle sólo las monedas más caras, quedándose el resto como recuerdo de su padre. Enrique accedió, pero en vez de elegir sólo la moneda que le interesaba, para no darles pistas seleccionó 8 monedas y les ofreció un poco menos de lo que hubiera pagado por todo el lote. Los chicos aceptaron y todos quedaron contentos.

Singer Enrique Iglesias got the scare of his life when his plane headed for London was suddenly forced to make an emergency landing at Luton Airport in Bedfordshire.

Enrique, 33, was on the plane when it began to experience some trouble, so the pilot made the snap decision to land immediately.

They were only on the tarmac briefly before heading back out to London. The singer’s representative told The Daily Mail UK, “The highly skilled pilots managed to make a safe landing.”

In light of the serious plane crash that Travis Barker and DJ AM barely escaped, we’re glad to hear that no one was hurt in this case.

Singer Enrique Iglesias is being sued by the mother of an 11 year-old girl for emotional distress after she witnessed him allegedly run over her daughters foot.

Lizette Torres and her daughter Susan Bonilla are suing Enrique and his manager Fernando Giaccardi, claiming Fernando backed up his vehicle in an “unsafe manner” while on a private property.

Apparently the little girl rushed over to the car to get an autograph from Enrique and had her foot run over by accident. The incident happened back in 2007, but since times are tough, Lizette figured she’d finally cash in on her “emotional” experience.

She claims she suffered “emotional injury and emotional shock to her nervous system causing her damages.” She’s asking for $25,000 in damages.

The little girl walked away without injuries, so it sounds like the mother is just using his celebrity status as an excuse to milk some money out of him. What are your thoughts?

He is crazy! … in a good way. His way at the stage is something unique to the point that up to today I cannot define who he is.

Energy a lot his music has, it is something that I cannot denied. It was the first time that I listen his music and to be honest, even when I am not fan of that genre, I like it for that night … lol … yeah, I will not listen him again but if he come back I will go to see him.

His way to sing, to dance, his face expressions… he has something that capture the attention and get the person to love the moment. Enigmatic may be; great singer, perhaps; excellent concert, for sure it was.

There was not a single soul that did not follow him in each song, there was not a single person that did not vibe with his music, it was a energetic night that many will remember for many years to come and I included myself in that group.

I just wish to know him as a person, to be able to find out Enrique as Enrique and not as a singer, he has capture all my curiosity, for me he is an enigma =]
