El día lunes 23 de noviembre de 2009 junto al Dr. Francisco Campos visitamos Ecuador-TV para conocer sus instalaciones y conversar con Marcelo del Pozo, fue un espacio grato para intercambiar ideas y experiencias sobre las posibilidades de la TV-Publica. Francisco Campos Freire fue Director General de la Compañía de Radio Televisión de Galicia (1994-2005) y presidente da FORTA (1994, 1997, 2001 e 2004) con lo cual compartió algunas de sus vivencias.

El mismo lunes también vistamos CIESPAL para saludar Fernando Checa Director de CIESPAL, gestión en la que nos ayudo Pablo Escandón, Editor de la Revista CHASQUI y profesor visitante de la UTPL, además coincidió con la presencia de Manuel Gago, “periodista, director  de culturagalega.org, profesor de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela y editor de Capítulo 0” quien visita Ecuador en razón del Seminario “La reinvención del periodista”.  Con Manuel está previsto visitar la UTPL hoy 27 de noviembre de 2009.

Kirjoitin taannoin jutun Espoon science fiction ja fantasiaseura ESCin julkaisemaan Fantastinen Espoo -matkaoppaaseen.  Nyt olen kirjasen myös lukenut ja tunnen lopulta päässeeni jyvälle siitä, mistä se nyrjähtänyt ja eksynyt tunne oikein tulee, etten ole täällä aivan kotonani.

Jos haluat nähdä Espoon Länsikylän, se onnistuu parhaiten Leppävaaran urheilupuiston viereisellä pellolla torstaisin klo 13:00-16:14…

Fantastinen Espoo esittelee hyvin tunnettujen kaupunginosien väleihin ja ulkopuolelle sijoittuvia kohteita ynnä luo katsauksia kaupunkimme unohdettuun ja aiemmin löytämättä jääneeseen historiaan ja arkkitehtuuriin sekä parhaisiin ravintoloihin ja ostospaikkoihin. Kummallisuuden taso vaihtelee vihjauksenomaisista outouksista kummituslegendoihin ja parhaissa paikoissa aivan nyrjähtäneeseen maantieteeseen. Aivan jokainen kirjan kappale ei hykerrytä oivaltavuudellaan tai tyylillään, mutta joka kirjoituksessa on koukkunsa. Teoksen parhaimmistoon kuuluu esimerkiksi Jussi Katajalan artikkeli Espoon Länsikylästä. Samaten Boris Hurtan visio viranomaisten harjoittelualueeksi rakentamasta ja sittemmin hylkäämästä Kultaisesta kolmiosta toimintakelpoisine pontikkatehtaineen ja salakapakoineen vetää naamani viistoon hymyyn.

Sympaattinen pieni julkaisu kannattanee lukea tipoittain. Tai sitten epäjärjestyksessä: pakettia elävöittävät matkakertomukset ovat kaikki päätyneet kirjan loppuun, vaikka niitä olisi ehkä kaivattu alku- ja keskivaiheillekin letkeyttämään muuten kovin asiapitoista sisältöä.

Kirja on, paitsi Espoon (para?)psykomaantieteellisen tutkimuksen tärkeä merkkipaalu, myös inspiroiva osoitus siitä, mihin kaikkeen vinkeään nykyistä julkaisutekniikkaa voi käyttää. Mahdollisuuksia piisaa!

I’m really sad.

Montenegro is now the third country to officially announce that they are not taking part in the ESC 2010. The Czech Republic and Hungary already said so earlier.

Ok, Montenegro has only participated three times as a country of its own (since its independcy from Serbia in 2006), but i liked their Jon Bon Jovi light rock kind of songs they sent in 2007 and 2008. I can’t really tell you why, but this kind of music makes me happy!

In 2009 it was FYROM who got inspired by the Montenegran style and sent the group Next Time with the rock song Nesto sto ke ostane. No need to tell you that none of these songs made it to the final. (although actually the latter one would have if the jury hadn’t had its say and chosen Finland instead, but that is another story)

Montenegro chose a different style in 2009,  choosing a song written by ESC-veteran Ralph Siegel. German Siegel has written many many entries for Germany, such as winner of 1982 Ein bisschen frieden , 1979’s 4th place Dschinghis Khan, 1987’s 2nd place Lass die Sonne in dein Herz (one of my German favorites) and Let’s get happy in 2003. He has also written songs for other countries including Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Of course, let’s not forget that the excellent song for Serbia Montenegro in 2005 was Zauvijek Moja with the Montenegran band No Name who came 7th.

I will miss the Czech Republic too. I wish they would have stayed long enough to send some of their excellent singers such as Helena Vondrackova or the excellent folklore group  Cechomor. Or the young Czech-Polish Ewa Farna.

Vondrackova has been popular since the 1960s in the Czech Republic and Germany (and GDR). She recorded the Luxembourgish winner from 1972 Apres Toi in Czech for instance, singing it wonderfully. Vondrackova has been one of my first idols and in particular i loved her song Hribe and her Czech version of Downtown called Pata.

Miss Tereza Kerndlova who represented the Czech Republic in 2008 and whom I had the pleasure of meeting, could never quite reach the high standard of Ms Vondrackova… Her song “Have some fun” wasnt too bad,but singing a song about having fun and partying and not smiling once, well, it wont get you any points no matter how beautiful you are or how sexy your back-up dancers are.

My favorite Czech entry of the three was the first one in 2007 though, Mala Dama. Heavy rock in Czech. It took a few times to listen to, but not bad at all.

Hungary has been in the ESC eight times and i do hope they return in 2011. My favorite entry was probably NOX in 2005 with “Forogh, világ”
or Friderika Kinek  who in 1994 came 4th with Mondjam El Vétkeime. Of course, I always like when a country sings in its own language…

Zoli Adok in 2009 didn’t represent his country with a bad song “Dance with me”, it was very danceable. However, his performance wasn’t the best and the ugly green pants didnt help him either…

De winter komt met rasse schreden naderbij en dit betekent dat de heren van ESC 3 aandacht moeten besteden aan het onderhoud van hun voetbalschoenen. Gelukkig heeft het zogekmogelijkekleurenvoorjevoetbalschoenen-virus bij de heren nog niet echt toegeslagen en spelen de meesten nog gewoon op zwarte kicksen. Bij ESC 3 is dhr. Zandbergen degene die het meest met zijn schoenen bezig is en het lijkt erop dat hij voor elke wedstrijd weer voor een andere configuratie van zijn schoenen kiest. Dat hij hierbij meer gereedschap gebruikt dan Nico van Eigen Huis en Tuin nemen de overige heren van ESC 3 voor lief.

Maar goed, onderstaand stukje is voor een ieder interessant.

Ditmaal vertelt Rob Kocken, materiaalman van het Nederlands elftal, hoe je je schoenen het beste kunt onderhouden.

 ,,Als je je nieuwe leren voetbalschoenen voor de eerste keer aantrekt, is het aan te raden om ze eerst even onder te dompelen in water. Als je er vervolgens op traint, gaan ze beter naar je voeten staan. Je kan ze de eerste keer bijvoorbeeld ook alleen tijdens de warming-up aan doen.’’ 
 
Soepel houden
 
Leren schoenen moet je goed onderhouden. Kocken: ,,Dat is van groot belang voor de levensduur van je schoen. Na de training of wedstrijd borstel ik de leren schoenen af, zowel de bovenkant als de onderkant. Dan even afspoelen en afdrogen. Als de schoenen goed droog zijn, kan je ze invetten met blank ledervet.”
 
,,Leren schoenen nemen het vet goed op en worden daardoor waterafstotend. Ook blijven ze zo soepel. Zorg er verder voor dat je leren schoenen niet zomaar in de kast gooit of in je tas laat zitten, want dan drogen ze hard op. Dan komen er eerder scheuren in het leer.”

Kunststof schoenen, die van zichzelf al waterafstotend zijn, behoeven minder onderhoud. Kocken: ,,Je hoeft ze na de training of wedstrijd alleen maar schoon te spoelen of met een plantenspuit nat te maken, zodat al het gras en modder eraf is. Laat ze daarna goed drogen. Net als leren schoenen nooit op de verwarming! Ik zet ze daarna nog even heel licht in het vet. Gewoon een likkie – al is dat meer voor de sier, aangezien het kunststof het vet amper opneemt. De schoen krijgt alleen wat meer glans.” Je prestaties kunnen niet elke week glansrijk zijn, je schoenen in elk geval wel.
 
Even slikken…
 
Hoe weet je dat je schoenen toe zijn aan vervanging? ,,Als ze geen pasvorm meer hebben en je gaat schuiven in je schoenen”, weet Kocken. ,,Of als bij leren schoenen de stiksels los gaan laten of er scheuren in komen.”
 
Iets wat veel voetballers met lede ogen zullen constateren. Want afscheid nemen van je ouwe trouwe kicksen waarmee je zoveel onvergetelijke momenten hebt beleefd (Die goal in de bovenhoek! Die dieptepass over 50 meter – nou ja, vooruit, 30 meter dan – à la Frank de Boer!) , dat is soms even slikken…
 
Dubbele knoop
 
Laten we tot slot de veters niet vergeten. Het kan weleens handig zijn, als je in de slotfase bij een 1-0 voorsprong wat tijd kan rekken door je veter vast te maken voor je een vrije trap neemt. Maar meestal is een losse veter aardig irritant. Kocken: ,,Maak daarom een goede dubbele knoop. Om te zorgen dat deze knoop zo klein mogelijk is, knippen veel spelers een stuk van hun veters af. Smelt dan wel even de uiteinden samen met een kaars of brandende lucifer. Dan gaan de uiteinden niet rafelen.”

Om 00.00 zullen wij weer worden opgehaald en worden afgezet bij de Haas! De (retour)kosten bedraagt E 9,50 p.p. Je hoeft geen zwemspullen mee te nemen

Alvorens wij ons naar Nunspeet begeven, verzoek ik een ieder om vooraf het bedrag van E 50,00 te voldoen. Dit kan bij één van de leiders. Dan zijn we gelijk van het gezeur af en hoeven we later niet iedereen aan te spreken. Ik gok dat de helft aan het einde van de avond toch niet meer aanspreekbaar is

Karena penasaran, aku ikutan ESC (Excellent (katanya) Servant Camp), awalnya emang udah ogah-ogahan sih, karena aku paling sebel dengan model acara yang ngerjain dan nyari-nyari kesalahan orang, sementara ESC ini katanya bentuknya seperti itu. Kok mau ikut? Salah seorang temen bilang, coba aja dulu, ya udah ikutan deh.

Kemarin pagi dengan pontang-panting berangkat ke Wisma Shallom, dan sukses alkitab dan alat tulis ketinggalan padahal itu wajib!
Pikir ‘ah s’bodo, kan biasa juga pake pda’ alkitab dan alat tulis
jadi satu

Dikasih tahu acara mulai jam 6:30, aku nyampe sana 6:40 dan
syukurlah, acara belum mulai.

Setelah daftar ulang, dikasih makan pagi, “hmmm bagus juga, mengerti
bahwa orang mungkin belom sarapan, good point”

Jam 7:15-an (nggak liat jam, soalnya nggak pernah pake jam sekarang), mulai disuruh masuk, dan begitu masuk kaget juga, lha? kursinya mana? duh, rupanya suruh duduk di bawah nih, alamat sakit pinggang deh, sekarang kan kalau suruh duduk di bawah susah, keganjel perut

Sessi di buka, dan menurutku sih pra session (mereka bilang
gitu) itu, (maaf) garing banget, yang bicara seperti orang yang jarang
dikasih kesempatan ngomong di depan, jadi banyak yang diomongin nggak nyambung dengan ayat yang dia pakai.
Ya sudah, denger aja, berharap next session getting better.

Setelah pra sessi selesai, dikasih tahu bahwa otoritas tertinggi
selama camp, adalah 2 orang yang disebut sebagai Komandan, mereka yang akan menegakkan disiplin.
Mulai muncul perasaan nggak enak deh, tapi ya sudah teruskan!

Dan bener, setelah cuap-cupa sana sini, mengutip ayat ini itu, lalu mereka bilang selama sessi handphone harus dalam kondisi mati, karena
aku pikir mungkin mereka nggak mau keganggu dengan bunyi telepon
masuk atau sms, ya aku matiin fungsi handphone di pda, tapi fungsi
pda-nya masih aku nyalain, kan mau buka alkitab dan ngetik di sono.

Akhirnya salah seorang dari komandan itu negur aku kenapa masih
bandel nggak matiin handphone, dan waktu aku jawab bahwa handphoneku sudah mati, lalu dia bilang itu masih bisa diketik-ketik, aku bilang pdaku memang bisa begitu, kan tadi juga suruhnya matiin handphonenya, kalo nggak percaya telp aja ke nomorku.

Yang satu nggak bisa ngomong lagi, yang satu lagi bilang, belajar taat
ama ketentuan yang sudah digariskan, pak!
Jelas aku bingung ketentuan yang mana? orang baru dateng blom dapet apa-apa, tahu dari mana bahwa ada ketentuan handphone/pda harus dalam kondisi switch off?
Ya sudah karena ada yang berbaik hati meminjamkan bolpen dan ngasih kertas ya aku shutdown saja pda-nya.

Dan tahu nggak? Ketentuannya ternyata baru muncul setelah otot-ototan tadi, huuuh sebel banget! Emang aku paranormal apa?

Sessi berikutnya, cukup bagus, tentang gambar diri, pelajarannya sih yah normatif lah, orang kristen pasti tahulah, cuma ya dia kupas dari satu sisi yang udah lama dilupakan.
Dilihat dari keseluruh pelajaran sih, ya gitu deh, seperti aku bilang bicara hal yang normatif.

Tahu dari mana keseluruhan pelajaran? Kan setelah acara menyebalkan tadi, kemudian dibagi kelompok, dan lalu dibagi buku, tempat minum, name tag dan topi, katanya itu merupakan peralatan yang nggak boleh dilupakan, nah dari buku panduan itulah aku bisa tahu sessi-sessi apa yang bakal diberikan.

Diantara sessi diisi dengan acara pendisplinan yang, menurutku waktu bagi 2 orang ini cari-cari kesalahan.
Kenapa aku bilang cari-cari kesalahan?
Nih contohnya:

Di awal 2 komandan ini muncul, mereka bilang, kalau peluit bunyi panjang 1 x berarti acara akan dimulai 5 menit lagi, peluit bunyi panjang 2 x acara akan dimulai 2 menit lagi dan kalau 1 x lagi bunyi berarti acara sudah dimulai.

Nah, setelah break pertama, acara diisi mereka dan mereka ngotot menanyakan siapa yang melakukan pelanggaran, ya jelas nggak ada yang ngaku. Orang juga bingung kesalahan apa yang dilakukan, dan mereka kemudian bilang lagi siapa yang setelah peluit bunyi 2 x tidak pada posisi siap? Emang kapan dikasih tahunya bahwa setelah peluit ke dua harus sikap siap?
Setelah otot-ototan ya akhirnya sekian orang jadi ‘korban’, aku nggak
mau maju orang ngerasa nggak salah kok, karena statementnya juga nggak gitu tadi, wah minus point deh gara-gara ini.
Masa bodo mereka bilang mereka lebih menghargai orang yang jujur dan mau mengakui kesalahannya. (Emang berharga banget ya dihargai mereka?)

Sessi berikutnya lagi, sessi yang nguantuk, udah sessinya adalah sessi
setelah makan siang, yang bawain masih yang bawain sessi pertama dan bawainnya tambah bikin ngantuk.
Untung akhirnya setelah mencoba sekuat tenaga bertahan, berhasil juga sampai selesai dan nggak ketiduran (gimana mo ketiduran, orang duduk di paling depan).

Ingat tadi aku bilang aku lupa bawa alkitab dan alat tulis? Kelupaan
tsb membuatku sukses menjalani hukuman pada sessi ngerjain orang berikutnya, ya sudah diterima, aku salah (Peraturan yang dibuat surut ke belakang :p).

Setelah dikerjain, masuk break panjang, dibagi kamar, di kamar ngobrol
deh, dan ternyata bukan aku saja yang sebel, semua room mate juga
rupanya sama sebelnya.
Masuk ke sessi berikutnya, sessi ngerjain orang lagi, rupanya 2 orang
komandan ini denger kali apa yang kami bicarakan di kamar (kamar
mereka pas ada di depan kamar kami), tambah galak deh!
Dan aku kena hukum lagi karena setelah peluit bunyi panjang 2x, aku masih sibuk nulis yel-yel yang katanya harus dibuat, ya sudah kena
lagi deh.

Setelah diceramahi dengan mengutip ayat di sana sini untuk membenarkan apa yang mereka omongkan, kami lalu disuruh push up, nggak banyak sih cuma 5 kali, tapi di ujung digantung nggak boleh turun, wadooh gemeteran deh tangan
Dan walaupun ada yang bilang udah nggak tahan mereka nggak peduli,
akhirnya rupanya ada yang memang sudah nggak tahan banget, dia berdiri dan akibatnya dia dibentak, mungkin karena udah sebel yang dibentak banting topi dan keluar.
2 orang komandan ini ngomong lagi, ada yang mau nyusul? ya sudah
karena aku juga udah empet, aku berdiri, buka nametag dilempar ke deket peralatan yang mereka kasih, ngembaliin bolpen yang tadi dikasih pinjem (nggak lupa bilang terima kasih ama si Bapak) lalu ambil kunci kamar ke panitia.
Panitia kayaknya nggak siap juga tuh menghadapi kejadian gitu, bingung mereka aku bilang mo ambil kunci kamar, mereka bilang ‘nanti sebentar pak’, karena kunci kebetulan aku lihat ada di depan panitia itu ya udah aku ambil aja sendiri.
Setelah ngambil kunci, aku pake sepatu, lalu jalan ke kamar mo ngambil tas.
Salah seorang bapak panitia ngejar sambil berusaha bujukin supaya aku sabar dan nerusin ikut kegiatan aja, aku bilang “Terima kasih pak, saya sih merasa nggak worth aja, ninggalin tugas yang harus diberesin, terus dapet yang kayak begitu, betul-betul worst camp yang pernah saya ikutin”.

Karena kayaknya si bapak juga sudah nggak tahu lagi mo bujukin apa, akhirnya dia bilang boleh di doain pak, ya aku bilang silakan saja mo doain sih.

Setelah beres, beresin baju dan tas, balik lagi ke aula, untuk ngembaliin kunci kamar dan mau minta kunci motorku.
Sambil jalan dari kamar ke aula, aku ngomong minta maaf ke panitia itu kalau-kalau ada omonganku yang kurang ajar ama dia.

Setelah dapet kunci motor aku jalan keluar, kembali ada panitia yang nyoba untuk mencegah pulang dan bujukin untuk nerusin aja, mereka bilang camp ini memang di design seperti itu nanti diakhir akan ada sessi yang bagus, aku bilang; “cukuplah pak, daripada nanti ada kecelakaan lebih baik saya pulang”, karena kayaknya dia juga bingung mo ngomong apa lagi, dia bilang “tapi jangan sampai kepaitan ya pak!”, aku bilang “kayaknya susah nggak kepahitan pak, kalau caranya seperti itu”.

Gagal deh, ternyata saya nggak qualified :p untuk lulus ESC!

Tapi jujur sekarang aku nyesel pulang tergesa-gesa
Kenapa? Coba kalau aku nggak terlalu emosi kemaren, kan sebelum aku pulang, aku bisa minta dulu 2 orang komandan itu untuk menunjukkan padaku ayat alkitab di sebelah mana yang mendukung kelakuannya itu?

Juga mungkin aku bisa minta statistik keberhasilan camp mereka itu yang menunjukkan bahwa setelah camp itu mereka-mereka yang ikutan jadi lebih excellent dalam pelayanannya, tentunya dari hasil survey ke para penerima pelayanan yang ikut camp.

Sayang aku keburu-buru pulang, padahal kalau mau tunggu 5 menit aku kan bisa tahu kualitas pengetahuan alkitab 2 orang komandan itu.

Op de KNVB-site was de wedstrijd ESC 3 – BAS 3 van a.s. zaterdag al niet meer te zien. Op de site van ESC is nu te lezen dat de wedstrijd is uitgesteld.

Na de Houdini-act in het bekertoernooi waarbij de 6-2 overwinning exact genoeg was om de volgende ronde, waarbij men is vrijgeloot overigens, te behalen stond er weer een normale competitiewedstrijd op het programma. In Dronten wachtte het 5e van ASVD nog op haar eerste punten maar de Elburgers waren niet van plan aan dit wachten een einde te maken.
Al was dat niet te zien aan de wedstrijdinstelling, de blauw-witten begonnen ongeïnspireerd en positioneel klopte het van geen kant.
De thuisploeg zette brutaal druk en hier hadden de bezoekers veel moeite mee, waar vorige week vooral het combinatiespel goed verzorgd was zocht men nu hun heil tot lange ballen richting de spitsen. De eerste kansen waren dan ook voor de thuisploeg maar met het nodige kunst- en vliegwerk wist Marco de goal schoon te houden en aan de andere kant was het bij de eerste kans wel meteen raak, kapitein Lesley nam de bal schitterend in de loop mee en waar hij normaal gesproken bij de afronding het overzicht verliest schoof hij ditmaal de bal prachtig in de verre hoek. Deze meevaller zorgde er echter voor dat men het gevoel kreeg dat men het klusje, ondanks het slechte en slappe spel, wel even zou klaren.
Maar binnen de kortste keren keek men al tegen een terechte achterstand aan, tweemaal werden dekkingsfouten afgestraft, spelers die op appèl omhoog springen of aan de verkeerde kant staan te dekken, daar wist de thuisploeg wel raad mee. Maar net als met de voorsprong van de Elburgers wisten ook de Drontenaren niet hoe ze hier mee om moesten gaan, deze situatie hebben ze dit seizoen nog niet vaak meegemaakt en het spel werd onzorgvuldiger, hierdoor wisten de blauw-witten zich toch weer in de wedstrijd te spelen. De momenten waarop er wel gecombineerd werd leverden meteen doelpunten op, bij de 2-2 was er bijna sprake van diefstal (sorry Pieter voor deze vergelijking), een rebound werd met een schitterende lobje door Johan over de doelman geschilderd waar Vincent net iets snelheid tekort kwam om het doelpunt te kunnen stelen.
Vlak voor rust pikte Vincent toch zijn doelpuntje mee, na een goede combinatie tussen Johan en Lesley werd Danny vrij voor de keeper gezet op het randje van buitenspel, hij behield het overzicht en liet Vincent scoren.
De 2e helft liet een compleet ander beeld zien, met een drietal wijzigingen waarbij o.a. Johan na twee waarschuwingen in de 1e helft zover mogelijk aan de zijkant geposteerd werd zodat hij de scheids niet meer tegen kwam, was vooral de inbreng van topscoorder Jan Erik een belangijke wijziging want hij maakte zijn reputatie waar door maar liefst viermaal te scoren en éénmaal Danny in staat te stellen om te scoren. Bij die vier treffers zaten twee fraaie, de één werd in de verre bovenhoek geschoten en bij de ander werd de meegelopen Lesley keurig over het hoofd gezien en schoot “Lange Jan” de bal zelf binnen.
En de man in vorm dan, zult u zich ongetwijfeld afvragen, na vier treffers twee weken geleden bij het 7e en twee treffers vorige week was het ook deze wedstrijd tweemaal raak. We hebben het natuurlijk over linkshalf Albert waar alles wat hij aanraakt in goud lijkt te veranderen, al viel dat de eerste helft nog tegen, in de tweede helft bleek hij nog steeds in vorm te zijn. Zijn eerste treffer was nog een vrij normale goal (vanaf links de bal in de verre hoek geschoten), zijn tweede was van een weergaloze schoonheid, tenminste als het zo bedoeld was…. Met een schitterende pass vanuit het middenveld werd hij op links weggestuurd, na controle haalde hij de achterlijn en daar vandaan gaf hij een voorzet die zo binnen vloog, langs de aan de grond genagelde doelman die natuurlijk een voorzet voor de goal verwachtte.
Al met al zou de teller op 10 blijven steken, de thuisploeg deed tussendoor nog één keer iets terug zodat de wedstrijd in een spectaculaire 3-10 zou eindigen.
Scorebordjournalistiek bedrijvend zou je over een gemakkelijke en eclatante zege spreken maar de werkelijkheid was dat de eerste helft erg slap en ongeïnspireerd was, snel en te vaak de lange bal gehanteerd werd en er te veel fouten gemaakt werden.
Positief was natuurlijk wel dat er al in de eerste helft en later helemaal in de tweede helft de controle genomen werd en dat dit ook duidelijk in de eindstand naar voren is gebracht.
Volgende week zal het 3e thuis tegen BAS 3 hierop voort hopen te borduren, deze wedstrijd zal om 12.00 uur beginnen.

Dat ESC 3 een scorende ploeg is, bleek al uit het doelsaldo in de competitie. Voorafgaand aan het duel met ASVD 5 werden er 22 doelpunten gescoord in 6 wedstrijden [bijna 4 gemiddeld]. Ondanks een slechte eerste helft werden de 3 punten weer mee naar huis genomen en scoorden de Elburgers maar liefst 10 keer. ASVD wist ook nog 3 keer te scoren waarmee de eindstand op 3-10 bepaald werd.

De feestavond van ESC 3 zal op zaterdagavond 14 november zijn. De organisatie is in handen van Aart Klein en de verdere details zullen snel bekend worden.

They’re different, yet I’ve never even thought about it before. I would consider myself pretty fast at putting numbers into both of these, so how did I manage to miss this? It makes me think that perhaps teaching children two different keyboard layouts from birth wouldn’t be that hard.

Also, I went to another LAN on the weekend, ended up on the winning team for the CoD2 tourney. We’re planning to run them regularly, hit up the Esc (escape) LAN website if you’re in Sydney and interested.

El profesor de Ingles nos ha dejado para esta parcial, subtitular una cancion de ingles a español y que lleve ciertas cosas; como el logo de la esc, nombre de el, semestre etc.. entre otros. La verdad es que no es mi cancion favorita ni me gusta casi la letra; no tiene mucho que la escuche.. pero lo que se es que me gusto desde que la escuche..

Er zijn wat aanpassingen gedaan om het blog wat leesbaarder te maken.

1. Onder het kopje statistieken vind je de topscorers. Na de winterstop zullen hier ook de assists vermeld worden.

2. Onder het kopje uitslagen en standen vind je de meest recente gespeelde wedstrijden en uitslagen.

3. Onder het kopje ESC 3 zal zeer binnenkort [volgende thuiswedstrijd?] een nieuwe teamfoto komen.

4. Het kopje startpagina zal de wedstrijdverslagen bevatten, de voorbeschouwing en selectie voor de komende wedstrijd en alle andere belangrijke zaken m.b.t. ESC 3.

Deze regenachtige zaterdag stond de laatste poulewedstrijd van het bekertoernooi op het programma, gezien de stand was er theoretisch nog een kans om eerst te worden maar dan moest er met 4 doelpunten verschil gewonnen worden van VSCO op sportpark De Heughte (en dan nog was men afhankelijk van het resultaat tussen WHC en SEH).

Een heuse derby dus waar niet alleen eer op het spel stond maar ook een plek in de volgende ronde, iets wat het 3^e in de vorm van het prestatieteam nog nooit gehaald heeft.

Het strijdplan was om niet teveel te focussen op de stand en het aantal doelpunten wat nodig was maar om gewoon vrijuit te voetballen.

VSCO begon afwachtend, wetend dat ze ook met een kleine nederlaag door zouden zijn, lieten ze de gasten het spel maken en gokten ze zelf op de counter. Vooral op de linkerkant van de blauw-witten lag er in de tegenstoot veel ruimte omdat linksback Erik, onder toeziend oog van vrouw en dochter, veelvuldig voor de dugout langs mee naar voren ging.

Maar de kansen die de thuisploeg kreeg waren niet aan hen besteed, of de uitstekend keepende Marco stond in de weg of de spitsen wilden het te mooi afmaken waardoor er een aantal kansen verprutst werden.

Aan de andere kant was het wel snel raak, routinier Martin schoof in en met een schitterende lichaamsbeweging creëerde hij ruimte voor zichzelf en van een dikke 20 meter schoot hij de bal onhoudbaar in de hoek (iets waar Maurice een voorbeeld aan kan nemen).

Bij VSCO sloop er toch wat onzekerheid in de ploeg en de Elburgers bleven uitstekend spelen, er was rust in de ploeg, positioneel stond het goed en er werd goed over de flanken gespeeld. De linkerflank met de actieve Erik en de man in vorm Albert functioneerde goed en op rechts was er een goede wisselwerking tussen Pieter en Gerjan en was Danny balvast waardoor er goed gecombineerd kon worden.

De onvermijdelijke 0-2 viel echter niet uit een vloeiende aanval maar na een (bedoelde?) diepe bal van Martin was Danny zijn tegenstander te snel af die niets anders kon dan een overtreding begaan binnen de 16. De goed leidende scheids legde de bal gedecideerd op de stip en dit was een koud kunstje voor Johan die de 0-2 liet aantekenen.

Hierna kreeg Hans een tweetal uitgelezen mogelijkheden om de stand naar 0-3 te tillen maar die waren niet aan hem besteed, na eerst vier kanaries het bos in te sturen kwam hij niet verder dan de bal op buitenkant paal te schieten. Maar de 0-3 zou toch vallen en Hans zou zijn doelpuntje mee pikken (al had het de schijn van een eigen doelpunt) door attent te reageren bij een rebound.

Een 0-3 ruststand wat betekende dat er nog maar 1 doelpuntje nodig was om de van tevoren onbereikbare volgende ronde te halen. De 2^e helft liet hetzelfde spelbeeld zien, VSCO probeerde wel druk te zetten maar het onvermijdelijke gebeurde al snel, de man in vorm Albert wist de 0-4 binnen te schuiven waardoor men virtueel aan de leiding ging in de poule.

Toch wist de thuisploeg de rug te rechten en scoorde het binnen de minuut de 1-4 waardoor zij weer 1^e in de poule stonden. Maar dit bleek een korte opleving te zijn want de Elburgers roken kanariebloed en waren vast van plan deze vogels een toontje lager te laten zingen, men bleef goed vanuit de posities spelen en met de ingevallen Lesley kwamen er nog meer impulsen naar voren toe en dit leverde genoeg kansen op. Aan Hans waren ze deze middag niet besteed maar gelukkig was daar de opnieuw de man in vorm Albert die zijn tweede van de middag liet noteren en even later was Gerjan attent bij een schot voorlangs van Hans om de wedstrijd definitief te beslissen met de 1-6.

Dat het in de laatste minuut nog 2-6 werd was voor de statistiek, helemaal omdat de eindstand bij de andere poulewedstrijd 1-4 bleek te zijn.

De volgende ronde halen ten koste van VSCO is natuurlijk dubbel zo lekker, helemaal als je de bij aanvang kansloos geachte uitgangspositie bekijkt, complimenten zijn dan ook op z’n plaats hier (kon zo gauw de capslock-toets niet vinden….).

Volgende week wacht in Dronten de competitiewedstrijd tegen ASVD 5, aanvang 14:30 uur, dan zal blijken of een bekerwedstrijd echt op zichzelf staat of dat er voortgeborduurd  kan worden op deze uitstekende teamprestatie.

Afgezien van de matige training van gisteren, zijn de heren van Elburger S.C. 3 vol goede moed voor de pot van morgen. Derby’s kenmerken zich door strijd, slecht voetbal en zijn eigenlijk  op zichzelf staande wedstrijden waarbij het weinig uitmaakt hoe er getraind wordt. Strijd zal de basis moeten zijn en er zal 90 minuten lang, als Edgar Davids in zijn beste dagen, geknokt moeten worden.

According to financial experts, the world, as we know it will change dramatically by the year 2012.  People, who provided for their families only three years ago, will be desperately searching for food. The story of the economic meltdown of 2008 begins and ends with the United Nations and its carefully managed One World Order. Behind the curtain of this dark chapter in human misery are ogres Maurice Strong and George Soros.

It is both power lust and an all-consuming hatred of the United States of America that elevated this deadly duo to ogre status. Fortunately for all of those searching for answers, much of their plan for the world, post November 4, 2008 is already mapped out in writing.  Leading economic experts and Strong agree that in 2012 people will be going hungry.

 

“Strong has worked diligently and effectively to bring his ideas to fruition, He is now in a position to implement them.” (Henry Lamb, The Rise of Global Governance, available at soverignty.net).  “His speeches and writings provide a clear picture of what to expect.  In 1991, Strong wrote the introduction to a book published by the Trilateral Commission, called Beyond Interdependence: The Meshing of the World’s Economy and the Earth’s Ecology, by Jim MacNeil. (David Rockefeller wrote the foreword).  Strong said this:

 

“This interlocking…is the new reality of the century, with profound implications for the shape of our institutions of governance, national and international.  By the year 2012, these changes must be fully integrated into our economic and political life.”

 

These chilling words are in line with ones he used for the opening session of the Rio Conference (Earth Summit II) in 1992, that industrialized countries have:

 

“Developed and benefited from the unsustainable patterns of production and consumption which have produced our present dilemma.  It is clear that current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class—involving high meat intake, consumption of large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work-place air-conditioning, and suburban housing—are not sustainable.  A shift is necessary toward lifestyles less geared to environmentally damaging consumption patterns.”

 

The only change that has happened since 1992 is that Strong and Soros now have their Agent of Change coming to the White House.

 

        Voluntary acceptance of global governance is the preferred means of achieving a takeover of America without a

        single shot being fired.

  

…“Education programs to teach the “global ethic” have been underway by UNESCO and by UNEP for more than twenty years.” (Page 90, The Rise of Global Governance). “That the U.S. government, through its representatives to the various U.N. agencies, has not already crushed this global governance agenda is s testament to the effectiveness of the U.N.’s education program.”

 

..  “A new Economic Security Council (ESC) would replace the existing Economic and Social Council.  The new ESC would consist of no more than 23 members who would have responsibility for all international financial and development activities.  The IMF, the World Bank, and the WTO—virtually all finance and development activities—would be under the authority of this body.  There would be no veto power by any nation. (Italics CFP’s).  Nor would there be permanent member status for any nation.”

 

  But in Maurice Strong’s New World, NGOs will flag the new order about truth tellers: “The Commission (on Global Governance) believes that the U.N. should protect the “security of the people” inside the borders of sovereign nations, with or without the invitation of the national government.  It proposes the expansion of an NGO “early warning” network to function through the Petitions Council to alert the U.N. to possible action.” (Italics CFP’s).

 

… It is Obama’s job to demoralize the 58 million people who did not buy into his campaign and for all of those who do not want One World Order.

It is surely clear that the bailout of the U.S. automobile industry will not resolve its fundamental problems. But it could provide the time for a new approach that accords with the realities of the industry and can contribute to a resolution of its problems.While I would not pretend to be an expert on the automobile industry, the close association I have had with it and my concern with its impacts on the environment — particularly the risks of climate change — have convinced me that radical changes are needed in the design and the use of automobiles. The need is particularly urgent in making the transition from fossil fuels to more environmentally benign alternatives and to develop new people-friendly approaches to transportation.

It would be unrealistic to expect that this can be done by denying ownership to people in China, India and other developing countries. The automobile industry is experiencing a growth that can be slowed down and rationalized but cannot be stopped. A prime example: The need to reduce carbon-dioxide emissions from autos is urgent and immediate. It cannot be achieved without giving high priority to the development of alternatives to oil and gas as their fuel, and to improved judgment and greater care in vehicle utilization. To be sure, some promising technologies and approaches are being developed, but thus far none are being developed on a scale that can be expected to meet this need in sufficient time.

The current crisis in the industry makes it possible to break new ground in resolving this fundamental dilemma in ways that would have been seen as unrealistic before the crisis. The Chinese have always regarded crises as creating opportunities. Now China could play a major role in helping to rescue the U.S. automobile industry while contributing to resolving the economic and environmental issues confronting the industry worldwide.

China’s domestic industry has been developing rapidly. Chinese companies are already moving into international markets and are inevitably targeting the U.S. market. While they have yet to meet the rigorous quality standards required, it is only a matter of time before they achieve this. In the meantime, the Chinese have provided U.S. and other foreign companies with some of their most profitable markets. And companies of both countries confront the challenge of leading the transition to the post fossil-fuels era.

All of this, I contend, provides a unique opportunity for a new era of co-operation between the Chinese and the North American auto industries in which others, like India, could also participate.

The main elements of such an agreement would be:

1.  Encourage and facilitate China to make major investments in General Motors, Ford and Chrysler that would enable them to reconstruct and revitalize their companies on a basis that would ensure their survival and competitiveness, including the use of Chinese components. This would be done through investment by, or joint ventures with, leading Chinese companies.

2.  The U.S. and Canadian markets would be opened on a selective basis to Chinese automobiles, which would be marketed through the General Motors, Ford and Chrysler dealer networks, restoring the viability and profitability of dealerships afflicted by the industry crisis.

3.  The U.S. companies would have their established positions in the China market secured. They would obtain the right to expand their production and distribution in that market in co-operation with their Chinese partners.

4. The United States, Canada and China would agree to undertake and support a co-operative program of technological development in which their main companies would lead. These developments would be designed to produce a new generation of environmentally benign, people-friendly automobiles with particular focus on the development of alternatives to fossil fuels as well as alternative approaches to personal transportation

There is no question that the negotiation of such an agreement, involving the governments of the countries as well as their industry leaders, would be difficult and complex. But the massive economic and environmental benefits that would accrue to them, and indeed to the entire world, provide a powerful incentive to undertake it. The new administration in the United States and the demonstrated capacity of the Chinese government to manage the processes of fundamental change make this challenging opportunity unique.

Maurice Strong is a founding director of the United Nations Environment Program and a past president of Petro-Canada.

Mr. Strong founded the Earth Council in 1992 after the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, and is now extending that leadership with a new mandate to unite local councils and affiliated organizations under the Earth Council Alliance with co-founder Tommy E. Short. In addition, he is currently spending much of his time in China in his role as advisor to government, business and United Nations organizations. He also is a special advisor to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, as well as chairman of the council, University for Peace, affiliated with United Nations.

A Canadian and international businessman, Mr. Strong was catapulted onto a world stage in the early 1970s through his work with the United Nations.
From November 1970 until December 1972, Mr. Strong was Secretary- General of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, the Stockholm conference on sustainability. He subsequently became the first Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme.

And from 1990 to 1993, he was Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development – the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro – as the focus widened to economic, social, and environmental factors in meeting sustainability goals. Since 1985, he has been an Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations. In 1985 and 1986, he was concurrently Executive Co-Founder, Chairman Emeritus Biography.

Coordinator of the United Nations Office for Emergency Operations in Africa and a member of the World Commission on Environment and Development. Earlier in his career Mr. Strong served in investment and senior management positions with corporations in the energy and financial sectors.
He was president of the Power Corporation of Canada before leaving in 1966 to head Canada’s External Aid Office, later reorganized as the Canadian International Development Agency.

Mr. Strong returned to Canada as president, chairman and CEO of Petro-Canada (1976-78). He served as Chairman of the International Energy Development Corporation from 1980 to 1983 and of the Canada Development Investment Corporation from 1982 to 1984.
