Mehr als 40 Beschäftigte des Modeunternehmens Escada haben in diesen Tagen ihre Kündigung erhalten.

Dass Personal abgebaut werde, sei bereits bei der Übernahme der Escada AG durch die indische Unternehmerfamilie Mittal bekannt gewesen, so Sprecher Frank Elsner. Über 90 Prozent der etwa 470 Mitarbeiter in Aschheim würden aber übernommen. Dies sei im Rahmen einer Insolvenz eine “sehr gute Quote”, sagte Elsner. Es werde ein Sozialplan erstellt und eine Transfergesellschaft für die Betroffenen gegründet. moo
