I had been searching for eucalyptus oil to use in my gym’s steam room for months. It seemed that none of the brick and mortar stores had it or knew what it was. Finally realizing that searching Amazon was a good idea, I found Aura Cacia (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001E727IG/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title). The quality is excellent and the price was very reasonable. Since it is so strong, you only have to use a few drops to fill the air with the scent. I have had two bottles for almost two months and going to the gym three days a week, have barely used an eigth of one bottle. This has been a great purchase, well worth the cost. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Great quality EO. – Tina Denali – Seattle, WA
I just love the smell of Eucalyptus, so I decided to buy this set of two 2 oz bottles, quite the commitment! Well worth it, however.

I am a massage therapist and love to incorporate aromatherapy into my practice. All of my oils are Aura Cacia and I’ve been impressed by the quality for the price. I put a few drops into my base oils and lotions I use for massage. I also put this oil in a burner I have – the oil is heated by a tea light candle.

Overall, this is a great deal and I recommend it.
Smells great; hard to open – C. Robin –
Smells fantastic, just like eucalyptus oil should. The only problem is that the bottles are hard to open… they are of the “push down and turn” variety but require much more “pushing” than most bottles. I mean, child-proofing is great, but it shouldn’t take quite so much effort to get the bottle open.

In the past week or two, I’ve spent a lot of time cooking, for a lot of reasons.

First of all, I just like to cook. This sabbatical of mine has fostered a new love for the family dinner table and I spend an hour or two each night creating healthy, tasty meals for Brian and Erin, so that we can sit and enjoy each other’s company and share the ups and downs of our day.

Second, the former skirt! Raleigh team gathered at my house to say farewell to former editor Faith Dwight, who is returning to her husband’s native England. We’ll miss her. We gathered and ate … and ate …. and ate. It was a bittersweet evening, but we all enjoyed the food.

And, third, of course, Thanksgiving. I’m Canadian, so I get two Thanksgivings every year. The Canadian one, in October, is usually marked for us by throwing steaks on the grill and making my daughter’s favorite risotto, the smoked tomato and shitake mushroom one. And for American Thanksgiving, we sometimes have the turkey and trimmings. This year, we had the turkey and trimmings.

Which brings me to the onions.

I’ve discovered that I can do almost anything in the kitchen if I just have some onions. I can make pasta sauce from scratch. I can make risotto. I can make roast chicken pieces on an aromatic bed of onions, celery and carrots (maybe some fennel for fun, if I happen to have it). I can make a crustless quiche. I can make French onion soup. I can make soft tacos.

When I begin to cook, I instinctively reach for those onions. I need the onions to make everything happen.

Which brings me to the life lesson and it’s not the Shrek lesson … ogres are like onions, they have many layers … although, that, too, is a good lesson about the depth of people’s character.

The life lesson I took from all the slicing and chopping and dicing and weeping is this: If you want to make yourself valuable to the world, be the onion. Be the essential ingredient that makes everything come together. Be the first ingredient people reach for when they’re trying to create something magical and wonderful.

No shame in being the onion, people. Onions are essential.

“Essentials” lists abound, especially online; the shoes a man “must own,” books he “must read,” places he “simply must visit.” Most of the enumerated essentials are anything but. Some change daily.

Still, some things are much closer to mandatory than others. For instance, always vote your conscience and inform your choice; don’t be swayed by irate volume. Exercise. Also, cultivate a preference for the tasteful and refined over the loud and garish. Appreciate family, friends, and food. Read good books.

Be polite. Ask other people about themselves, and listen to their answers.

A step further from necessary, but still likely good ideas: watch The Godfather. Go to museums. Develop at least a passing knowledge of the mechanics of guns. Spend time outdoors.

And if there’s still time: know the difference between a sport coat and a blazer. Pick up squash. Reconsider how often wearing socks is really necessary. Wear clothes that fit. Don’t wear square-toed shoes; you’re not a ninja. Don’t wear athletic shoes with pants, and invest in some good stationary.

Though not essential, some of these things are close, and all are worthwhile.

I am an Independent Representative for Miessence and we recently launched a range of 25 certified organic essential oils. Being new to aromatherapy I read up a little and realized I needed a diffuser. I wanted one that I could leave on that would have a few different timer features as well as an automatic shutoff. I wanted an electronic diffuser because I don’t feel comfortable leaving a tea light/candle burning.

I have had the diffuser for a few weeks now and use it on a daily basis. I am able to control the “intensity” of diffusion with a small dial on the front. The diffuser has allowed me to create a beautiful atmosphere and disinfect a room without harsh chemicals.

Only lasts a year – Judy Shafer – Oregon
I have owned several diffusers over that last 20 years. This one from YLO lasted nearly a year and then just stopped. Of all the diffusers I have owned this one lasted the least amount of time. Save your money and buy the old style of nebulizer with the little glass tube. They last for years and years. No fancy flashing lights but a quality product.
Love this diffuser – Caroline A. Bennetti – Nashville, TN USA
I have bought 2 of these. One for me and one for my daughter. I have found nothing like this anywhere. This diffuser can run for hours or minutes whichever you like. It will stop when it gets short of water. When mine breaks down (everything does at one point) I would buy this one again.

This essential oil case is perfect – I have no complaints. When stored upright toward the handle all of your oils are facing cap up, (as long as you put them in properly, with cap facing toward the “binding” of the portfolio). It easily takes 1/2 oz bottles in all rows if you do this. I now have my 55 oils alphabetized so I can find them easily – no more digging through one case to find what I need. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.

This essential oil presentation case makes a professional statement while providing a practical and convenient way to carry your essential oils. The portfolio binding will fold back and create a nice display.

Aromatherapy portfolios custom-designed to hold up to 64 of your 5, 10 and/or 15 ml bottles. NOTE: Bottles are not included — image shown is for example only.

The elastic strips that securely hold the bottles are positioned so that each label is clearly visible, making it easy to find the oil you want. This elegant case comes equipped with a convenient carrying handle on the binding to ensure that your oils are carried in an upright position.

The inside of the portfolio is lightly padded and lined with black fabric, and even has a divider in the center with a zippered pocket on one side to hold your favorite pocket-sized essential oil book, and business card and brochure pockets on the other!

Includes a convenient handle on the binding for easier carrying. The outside of the portfolio is covered with a luxurious leather-like cover and the whole thing is held closed with a zipper.

Great storage case – Chuck – Florida, USA
Received as advertised, very fast shipping. I really like this case, it holds all my essential oils. The presentation case looks great in my massage therapy clinic, and my clients love it. No more looking thru rows on a tray to find what I need. As long as you use 1/2 oz bottles they all fit. Would highly recommend.

These candles smell nice and make the whole room scented. However, I don’t think the burn time is as long as advertised.

The lavender one has the best scent, in my opinion. The other ones are very citrus-y though, and make your house smell clean. They burn clean as well.

I have found aromatherapy to be an invaluable tool with our pets. We have miniature horses, an adorable dog, cat and 2 silkie chickens and our latest edition 5 big chooks, whom are laying almost every day. you cannot beat your own chickens eggs, they are so yummy & of course their diet will have an impact on the quality.

I find that our horses respond very well to alternate medicines. I have personally treated our horses for wounds, punctures, agitation( when they moved from the city to the country), ticks, and colds. Horses are easy to work with as they will soon let you know there likes and dislikes when working with essentials oils .

Because many essential oils have the same therapeutic properties we will always have a few to choose from when treating specific condition’s.

One of my horses at a young age developed warts on his nose! Poor darling when one first appeared I thought it was a tick and tried to pull it out! you can imagine the response I received. Well once he had forgiven me which didn’t take to long I was able to apply tea tree directly on to the wart. I applied tea tree a couple of times a day and approximately 2 weeks later they were gone.

How? - Dampen a cotton ball / pad with a little water, tip a small amount of olive oil on to the cotton ball, close your eye and gently wipe off make-up. If you have alot of eye make up on you may need to do this twice. This is a very safe and gentle way of removing your eye make-up naturally.

Coconut oil is my favourite oil to use on it’s own.

Why? It absorbs very easily and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling like other vegetable or carrier oils.

How does it absorb so easily? Because it has a small molecular structure and therefore can easily absorb into the skin within a fews minutes.

Why should you use coconut oil? Coconut oil has many benefits to the skin. It is also recommended for it’s nutritional benefits as well.

What does coconut oil do for the skin? It is very nourishing leaving your skin feeling soft and silky, I recommend it for dry, cracked or sensitve skin condition’s.

Coconut oil can be used for wound healing, acne, insect bites, stretch marks, eczema, and it also protects the skin from the sun. I recommend it for sunburn as it has a cooling effect on the skin.

I love using this oil in the winter as my skin tends to be dryer.

Pet Care- Skin allergy related condition’s in dogs is very common, Coconut oil is excellent to add to your dogfood to help with symptoms for example dry itchy skin.

By adding essential oils, this will potenise the action and have a very beneficial product for many different conditions.

In the lead up to a once-in-a-lifetime event like your prom night, it can be easy to forget to organ

In the lead up to a once-in-a-lifetime event like your prom night, it can be easy to forget to organize something. The easiest way to prevent this is to plan ahead. Remember, the day of the prom will be very busy – get as much organized before the day as you possibly can!

Here are some of the things you should organize beforehand so you don’t

accidentally turn one of the greatest nights of your life into a disaster.

Check opening hours – make sure you know when shops, etc that you will have to

visit on the day are open. More than one girl has gone to pick up her dress on the

day of the prom, only to find that the shop doesn’t open on a Saturday!

Research photographs – make sure you get a price list from the school before the

night of the prom, so you know how much photos at the prom will cost (you can

easily spend between $30 and $130 – even more). Check with the photographer

before the night to find out what payment options are available – many will accept

checks or credit cards, which is much safer than carrying cash.

Eat! – it seems like such a simple thing, but remember to eat a good breakfast and

lunch on the day of the prom. You may be rushing around getting things ready, or

feel like you can’t eat, but you will need all the energy you can get for the big night!

Make records – when making your appointments (hair, nails, make-up, restaurant,

limousine, etc) be sure to make a note of the date and time of your call, and who

you spoke to. Make sure you ring to confirm your appointments 2-3 weeks before

the prom, just to be sure that there are no problems.

Prepare for your hair appointment – it may seem obvious, but it is easy to forget.

Remember to wear a button down shirt when you have your hair done.

The right purse – you don’t want to be carrying around a huge purse or handbag all

night. Choose a small purse that is just big enough to hold lipstick, money, an extra

pair of hose, a number of small safety pins, and possibly a camera.

Prom checks – while at the prom, take a bathroom break to do the following:

1)

Refresh lipstick & powder (if needed);

2) Reapply body glitter (especially before a

grand march);

3) Make sure everything is right with your dress; and 4) Hair check.

But don’t take too long to do all this – your date won’t like to be kept waiting!

Have a great time – this is one of the biggest nights of your life, so make sure you

relax and enjoy it! Once you are at the prom, there is no point in worrying about

what you could or should have done. Simply make sure you have a great time

Are you aware of all of the benefits of Omega-3? There are at least 16 of them, maybe more. Omega 3

Are you aware of all of the benefits of Omega-3? There are
at least 16 of them, maybe more. Omega 3 is one of the most
beneficial oils for our body. In fact it is ESSENTIAL. That
is why they are called essential fatty acids.

Research shows that Greenland Eskimos and the Japanese enjoy
remarkable cardiovascular health. Scientists discovered that
these cultures consume foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

Omega-3 fatty acids are not made naturally by the body, so they
MUST be consumed through the diet. Most sources are available
in cold-water fish, including salmon, tuna, mackerel, and
halibut. They are also found in tofu, soybean, nuts, and
canola oils.

Sure, you can eat these foods every day and get some benefits,
but you know as well as I do, that you are not going to eat fish
EVERY day. And, if you are a vegetarian or vegan, you will not
be eating it at all. Of course, it is important to recognize
that some fish is safer to eat than others. If you are going to
eat salmon or tuna, make sure it is not FARMED fish. It should
identify on the packaging that it is wild fish from cold water
regions like Alaska or Iceland.

If you don’t like (or don’t eat) fish, or some of the other
sources of Omega-3,or you are concerned with the mercury level
in fish, Another way to get the additional Omega 3 is with
supplementation. Be sure that you find a product that uses a
pure source of Omega 3 fatty acids with NO detectible mercury.
An Omega-3 supplement with Vitamin E will be even more beneficial
as Vitamin E is an integral component of cell membranes. It helps
prevent free radical oxidation, shielding DNA from possible
mutagens. In addition, it helps maintain circulatory system
health.

Here are some of the reasons for making sure you are getting
enough Omega 3 in your diet.

Top 16 Benefits of taking Omega 3

• Anti-inflammatory – Helps reduce joint pain
• Lowers blood pressure
• Lowers bad cholesterol – Increases levels of good
cholesterol
• Lowers triglycerides
• Increases energy
• Supports circulatory system health
• Prevents blood clots (cause of heart attack and stroke)
• Improves memory
• Reduces plaque
• Boosts immune system
• Supports healthy skin
• Anti-Obesity
• Regulates pressure in the eye, joints, and blood vessels
• Supports cellular health – Transports oxygen from red
blood cells to the tissues
• Maintains healthy kidney function and fluid balance
• Regulates release of inflammatory substances from cells
that may trigger allergic conditions

Both Omega 6 and Omega 3 are essential, but the body requires
them in a ratio of 1:1. Currently in the United States the
ratio is around 10:1.

If the diet is deficient in either omega-6 or omega-3, long-term
degenerative illnesses will result. However, because the end
product (eg prostaglandin, leukotriene) of EFA metabolism differ
slightly but significantly from Omega-6 to Omega-3, they must be
present in BALANCE for optimum health.

For a safe and effective source of Omega 3 check out the essential
nutrient nutritional products at http://healthyalternatives.ineways.com/Products/Products.aspx?CCID=ProductSearchResults1&PRODSRCH=Omega%203%20EPA&PageId=922

To know why Adsense is essential for your content sites is to know first how this works. The concept

To know why Adsense is essential for your content sites is to know first how this works.
The concept is really simple, if you think about it. The publisher or the webmaster inserts a java script into a certain website. Each time the page is accessed, the java script will pull advertisements from the Adsense program. The ads that are targeted should therefore be related to the content that is contained on the web page serving the ad. If a visitor clicks on an advertisement, the webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the advertiser is paying the search engine for the click.

The search engine is the one handling all the tracking and payments, providing an easy way for webmasters to display content-sensitive and targeted ads without having the hassle to solicit advertisers, collect funds, monitor the clicks and statistics which could be a time-consuming task in itself. It seems that there is never a shortage of advertisers in the program from which the search engine pulls the Adsense ads. Also webmasters are less concerned by the lack of information search engines are providing and are more focused in making cash from these search engines.

The first reason why Adsense is essential for content sites is because it already has come a long way in understanding the needs of publishers and webmasters. Together with its continuous progression is the appearance of more advanced system that allows full ad customization. Webmasters are given the chance to choose from many different types of text ad formats to better complement their website and fit their webpage layout.

The different formatting enables the site owners the possibility of more click through from visitors who may or may not be aware of what they are clicking on. It can also appeal to the people visiting thus make them take that next step of looking up what it is all about. This way the people behind the Adsense will get their content read and making profit in the process.

The second reason is the ability of the Adsense publishers to track not only how their sites are progressing but also the earnings based on the webmaster-defined channels. The recent improvements in the search engines gives webmasters the capability to monitor how their ads are performing using customizable reports that has the capacity to detail page impressions, clicks and click-through rates. Webmasters and publishers can now track specific ad formats, colors and pages within a website. Trends are also easily spotted.

With the real-time reporting at hand, the effectiveness of the changes made will be assessed quickly. There would be time to sort out the contents that people are making the most clicks on. The ever-changing demands would be met while generating cash for the webmasters and publishers. The more flexible tools are also allowing webmasters to group web pages by URL, domain, ad type or category, which will provide them some accurate insight on which pages, ads and domains are performing best.

The last and final reason is that the advertisers have realized the benefits associated having their ads served on targeted websites. Thus increasing the possibility that a prospective web surfer will have an interest in their product and services. All because of the content and its constant maintenance. As opposed to those who are no using Adsense in their sites, they are given the option of having other people do their content for them, giving them the benefit of having successful and money-generating web sites.

Adsense is all about targeted content, the more targeted your content is, the more target the search engines’ ads will be. There are some web masters and publishers who are focused more on their site contents and how best to maintain them rather than the cash that the ads will generate for them. This is the part where the effectiveness is working its best.

There was a time when people were not yet aware of the money to be achieved from advertisements. The cash generated only came into existence when the webmasters and publishers realized how they can make Adsense be that generator. In those days, the content were the most important factors that is taken quite seriously. It still is. With the allure of money, of course.
