Here are some of the paintings in my studio right now. 

This painting is in its beginning stages, but I am really into owls right now.  I would LOVE to paint an entire owl series.  I just think of the “wise old owl”.  What insight does he have for me today?  When you paint, you access your right brain voice–your Artist Within.  It is directly connected to your subconscious & your intuition.  With each brushstroke, it is like you are dialing its number.  What does your right brain voice have to say to you?  Paint to find out!

This is a detail of a commission I am creating for a family right now.  I call these my “Family Portraits”.  I just keep layering and layering the colors.  There are no such things as mistakes.  Anything can be fixed.  Hmmmm, just like life!  I am reading in Esther & Jerry Hicks book, The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent” right now about CONTRAST in our lives.

The more I listen to Abraham, Hayhouse Radio and continue to focus on where I’m going than the painful part of where I’ve been, the more I realize who I truly am and how fun this journey is.

After watching “The Secret Behind the Secret” featuring Abraham, I cried. Watched it three times, cried three times. Cried after watching Louise Hay’s “You Can Heal Your Life.” Both seemed to kind of embrace me in this kind of lovingkindness and resonance that felt very exact and profound, but that I can hardly describe. I’ve seen first-hand, in my own life how I have manifested exactly that which I’ve wanted — and that which I’ve not wanted.

The truth of what both movies, and the scores of inspirational books that I’ve read over the years have told me, stand as strong and firm inside of my soul as a million-year old oak tree. It’s strong and vibrant truth, a stimulating kind of energy that forces me to shed the old skin of lies that I’ve been pounded with (as most of us have) all of my life, including: suffering is a MUST in order to be virtuous, if I’m happy and full of joy I a.) don’t deserve it and b.) am doing something wrong and c.) will and should eventually feel bad again; life is hard and long and should be; I have no control over what happens to me and on and on and on.

I’m feeling a spiritual renaissance that is very necessary for me to embrace my Divine self. It hints of enlightenment, but I know that I am far too distracted to be there quite yet – and at the same time, this knowing is so profound and so true that the other garbage that I’ve believed and been disempowered by is beginning to crumble away.

And all that’s left is light and truth. It’s a good day.

A woman wearing a mask similar to these sat next to me on the bus this morning. After she settled in, she pulled out a small bottle of alcohol-based hand sanitizer and applied some to her hands.

Soon after I began to feel the woman’s fear and anxiety, which seemed to intensify as the bus filled. It struck me how much she was living in fear of sickness, and how this fear would likely draw to her exactly what she’s trying so hard to avoid. If there’s anything I’ve learned over the past few years, it’s the universal law of “like attracts like” – that our thoughts and beliefs about reality create our experience of it.

I’m grateful to her for this timely reminder.

The term life coach should really be synonymous with inspiration. And ideally, a life coach should be able to provide the kind of guidance that speaks to your heart and — this is the whole point of it — helps to improve your life, preferably in all desirable areas. But what if the guidance coming from a life coach falls well beyond the conventional and the secular? What if that guidance comes from non-physical entities? Are there certain more eccentric principles one should follow when determining the quality of a collective of non-physical life coaches?

A group of non-physical entities who call themselves Abraham has become established as one of the most profound and influential life-coaching voices of our time. Abraham, a collective of non-physical teachers, speaks through a middle-aged woman named Esther Hicks, disseminating detailed information about manifesting your desires through consciously applying the universal law of attraction. It then comes as no surprise that assessing the quality of a non-physical life coach does involve special criteria. The main reason for this is that Abraham, for instance, does not use the kind of language that conforms to the modern, secular mode of thinking. So an audience that is receptive to Abraham’s work must assess the quality of the work according to how directly and effectively the teachings ‘speak to the heart’, as opposed to how much they conform to social norms and standards of communication.

What happens when Abraham communicates to the audience/reader through Esther is that Esther first receives what she calls ‘blocks of thought’ from Abraham. Then she translates those blocks of thought into comprehensible language. But these translations come in the form of words and phrases that are almost like re-invented language. For instance, Abraham through Esther’s translations tells us that we all attract specific experiences into our lives that are a match to our own ‘vibrational offering’. That is another way of saying that, on an energy level, we are all transmitting certain signals to the universe, and the universe responds accordingly.

Another example is when Abraham constantly reminds us that we all have what Esther translates as an inner ‘emotional guidance system’ that operates in a way that can be simplified into the following principle: if it feels positive, then you are on the right track; and if it feels negative, that means that you are moving away from your goals and intentions rather than approaching them. This negative feeling signifies a resistance. The more negative you feel, the more resistance you are holding against the fulfillment of your desires. And of course, the more positive you feel, the more focused you are towards the achievement of your dreams. Esther translates this concept as coming into ‘vibrational alignment’ with the object of your desires.

So a wise way of determining the quality of one’s choices is by being sensitive to what one’s inner emotional guidance is consistently communicating. This inner guidance never fails. It is the most reliable indication that can tell you what is good for you, what is not so good for you, and everything in-between.

Even in determining the quality of Abraham’s teachings, it is your own inner guidance’s receptiveness towards such teachings that can most effectively determine how much you can potentially benefit from them. Abraham’s teachings communicated through Esther remain Esther’s own translations of blocks of thought originating from the non-physical. But each and every individual has the capacity to formulate his/her own translations of similar concepts. Are you exuding a positive vibration when you are absorbing Abraham’s concepts? At the end of the day, when you positively feel that the external guidance communicated by the life coach and your own internal guidance are a match, it’s safe to say that you are on the right track.

What’s so cool about creating this blog is that it is getting me focused as a “deliberate creator” – in other words – I am able to truly publish every day the thoughts that are driving me to make Courageous Loving a real entity.  The whole process and evolution of this company has come from a deep and soulful place within me, and to be able to discover a way to share this with you is truly a joy.  In this way, it’s not just about inviting you to a seminar or a coaching call, but I actually get to share with you the thoughts that are inspiring me to act — and the lives and work of people who have given me that inspiration.

It would be a heck of a thing to say that I had the answer to all of life’s problems. The truth is, I don’t know anything about you or your problems, and I probably don’t have the slightest clue how to solve them for you. But you do. The answers you seek are available to you right now. Others have faced problems just like yours and they have persevered. Therefore, the universal solution to all life problems (that can be solved) is simply this: Learn more. Sounds simple, right? I’ll let you in on a little secret: Most things are. This was mentioned earlier, in “Step Three: Your Actions.” Most people don’t advance in life because they don’t know what to do next. How do you find out what to do next? First, identify your goal. Second, start taking action to achieve it. That’s the part where people get hung up. They know what they want, but they don’t know how to get it. Rest assured, the answers are out there. Whatever you want to do, you can learn how to do it if you apply yourself and learn what actions you need to take in order to get what you want. Learn more. Not sure how to write a novel? Learn more. Read. Read a lot. Visit seminars. Watch free educational videos on YouTube. Remember, you are always taking action. By definition, everything you do is an action, so if you don’t know what action to take next, take the action of learning. Develop your skills. Learning is how you grow into a bigger person. If you already know everything you need to know, start applying what you’ve learned to get what you want. If you already have the knowledge within you, you have no reason to sit on your butt while your life passes you by. And if you don’t, you have no reason not to get out there and start learning how to achieve your goals.

The above video contains the deleted scenes of  ‘The Secret’.  You will notice that speakers such as James Arthur Ray, Dr John F Demartini, Esther Hicks, John Asaraf, John Hagelin, Bob Proctor, Dr Ben Johnson all discuss how thought has a vibrational frequency thus it is the continuation of holding the same thought over and over and over for long periods of time that emit a frequency and hence what you hold in your mind for long enough eventually manifests as your reality. 

This was an important component of The Secret, and it is truly a pity that it has been omitted because the message here is quite important, in fact everything about the Law of Attraction hinges on ‘thought energy’.
