Hari ni, 28 Nov 2009 genaplah setahun umur perkahwinan kami.Cepatnya masa berlalu.. Kehadiran Mikael telah menambah lagi seri rumah tangga ini. Kami berdoa agar dikurniakan kebahagiaan yang berkekalan hingga ke akhir hayat. Amin…

In letzter Zeit bin ich beruflich am Anschlag – die Arbeit für die ALP Dillingen (Redaktion und Moderation von moderierten Online-Seminaren), der Seminarlehrer, der Beratungsrektor…all das erfüllt, zehrt aber auch. Es gibt Tage, da sitze ich fast rund um die Uhr am Rechner. Die Arbeit am Weblog und das Lesen in anderen Blogs stand und steht zurück – da bin ich nur froh, wenn die Kiste mal aus ist. Deshalb werde ich diesen Blog ruhen lassen und mich mehr aufs Lesen und Kommentieren anderer Weblogs stürzen. Allen Lesern und Kommentatoren vielen Dank für eure motivierenden Beiträge, allen anderen Lehrer-Bloggern Danke für die vielen Inspirationen!

Kami mengambil kesempatan mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha kepada semua kawan-kawan dan keluarga kat Malaysia.

Hari ni sempat menunaikan solat sunat aidiladha. Seronok dapat jumpa kawan-kawan. Mikael pun seronok juga dapat kenal-kenal dengan kawan-kawan baru.

Mr Faiz bersama-sama kawan-kawan dari Pakistan dan India. Mujur semua lebih-kurang sama tinggi jer.

Ramai tertanya-tanya siapa tetamu yang datang ke Kuopio. Sebenarnya bukan Nenek dan Datuk Mikael yang Daddy pegi jemput kat airport, tapi Prof. Jafri, Prof. Wan Kamil dan Hazim dari USM Kelantan. Kami amat berbesar hati mereka sudi meluangkan masa melawat kami di sini.

DAY 1

Malam, kami dinner kat Greek Restaurant. Prof. Wan sempat ajar tokey restoran cakap melayu.heheh

Lepas makan, aktiviti senaman, jalan2 ke Universiti pula.
Salji takde, amik gambar kat depan tasik beku je lah.
Lepas lawatan universiti, pegi shopping ikan salmon. Balik rumah masing2 masuk ke dapur

DAY 3
Sekejap je.. diorang dah nak balik. Terima kasih buat Prof. Jafri, Prof. Wan dan Hazim. Lain kali jemput datang lagi..

This usually happens whenever we spring clean the house, there will be stacks of old newspaper, cardboard egg trays, bags of empty tins to be thrown away. I couldn’t remember when did we last spring clean the house, perhaps half a year back ;P We can only manage it during the school holidays or my semester break. Done with the sorting and packing, we headed all the way (20mins drive) to grandma’s house and send all these stuffs to hear place as there will be certain parties whose in charge of recycled item doing the collecting job at their place almost weekly. Doesn’t sound practical making 20 mins drive for recycle sake, but after a second thought, despite throwing them as trash and aware with pollution and global warming issues every now and then, we are just hoping to play a tiny part in ensuring a greener green planet. Not too bad afterall, grandma may be able to earn a few pennies too. Lol =P

Mikael dah siap sedia menerima tetamu…

Hari ni kami sekeluarga akan menyambut kedatangan 3 tetamu istimewa dari Malaysia. Sekarang Daddy dah pergi ke Kuopio Airport untuk menjemput diorang. Mikael dan Mama pulak tunggu kat rumah saja sambil tengok TV dan makan coklat. heheh…

Nanti kami update gambar-gambar siapakah gerangannye yang datang ye. Ok kawan-kawan. Jumpa lagi…

Inilah perkembangan rambut Mikael yang tidak berkembang sebenarnya… heheh.

Whenever I hear that 30 Seconds to Mars song, I’m reminded of high school. I don’t know why. I suddenly miss it. There are so many things I’ve forgotten about it, like how I felt, waking up every day to face school, or what I did to pass the time when I was alone during dismissal. I didn’t write about everything.

Now things are so much different. I’ve more responsibilities now because I’m a college student–I’m an adult. It’s surreal, the transformation. And it scares me how things might be when I’m already working.

I worry too much.. Not the point though.

I miss high school. I miss my friends.

Now in its 6th year, Red Bull BC One has established itself as the most important B-Boy (breakdancing) battle in the world, and the de facto world championship. The event is in a new country each year and I had the pleasure of attending the first BC One in the U.S. last night in NYC.  As can be expected, I had my eyes on the footwear and saw a sampling of everything; Adidas shell toes, Puma’s, high and low Nike Dunks.  Keep reading for  a picture of the winner (and his shoes).

Although the above photo is not from last night, it is of last nights champion, Lilou.  Hailing from Berlin, Lilou is also the 2005 BC One champion and the events first two time winner.  He performed in Puma’s last night, just as in the picture above.

Hosted by Krs-One and with performances by Kweli & Hi-Tek and the Rocksteady Crew, the battle featured 16 of the best B-Boys from 10 different countries.  It was set up bracket style with head to head single elimination battles that had plenty of trash talk.  The crowd was just as international as the contestants and reminiscent of a soccer match with chants and flags being waived.

Not sure where next years event will be held or when it will be back in the U.S., but if ever given the opportunity, you NEED to attend BC One.
