Sean Malto es uno de los skaters con más estilo hoy en dia, y Etnies no lo pasó por alto y lo fichó en su dia para su team. Este es el último video que Malto ha sacado con la marca de zapatillas, un dia de grabación normal, mas chillin´ que otra cosa, donde podemos ver a Malto en su máxima expresión, va por donde quiere, cuando quiere y como quiere y haciendo trucazos con una facilidad pasmosa.

No, really, I DO. I went outside the ‘little room’ before the library ACTUALLY starts to throw some trash away and I slipped back in before the door could close fully. It was closing kind of fast too as it does when it gets to a certain point… It was fun.

In other news, it is cold.  I wore jeans, socks (they don’t match…), Etnies, a Naruto shirt, a Nightmare Before Christmas sweater, and my fedora today. Brr!

Speaking of Christmas, I GET TO GO TO ARIZONA (42 degrees F here and 68 there today) FOR THANKSGIVING! Hahahaha! When we visit my dad’s side of the family for Thanksgiving, we do Christmas as well to save on visiting in December too. I can’t wait to see them! I last saw Myk, Carla, Nick, Daniel, Hannah, and Amber (she was visiting Thodes) was the day before Miley Cyrus’ birthday party on October 5, 2008. I last saw the rest of the Coopers and the Kincades on the day before my brother’s 18th on April 8, 2008. :s I WANNA SEE MY FAMILYYYY!!! hahaha. ^_^

Els Akan, situats al sud-est, constitueixen el grup ètnic majoritari, ja que representen el 30% de la població. Aquests haurien emigrat en onades successives des de Ghana al llarg del segles XVll i XVlll. Dins dels Akan es distingeixen tres grans grups, els Akan de la frontera, els Akan del centre i finalment els Akan del sud, cadascun dels quals engloba diverses ètnies com les Agni i Abron, Adioukrou, Abidji, Attié, Abbey, Alladian, Ebrié, Abouré, Eotilé, N’Zima i la majoritària Baoulé.

Following the footsteps of the Nike 6.0 Motel Notell in San Clemente Ca. This summer etnies has gone in on a telly of their own. Although only a room as apposed to an entire motel. The etnies room at the Casa Del Camino hotel in Laguna Beach California is everything you’d expect out of the brilliant minds of Andre Seminergues and Don Brown.

Themed rooms are now so popular that this thing could sound a little boring, but the suavely done Etnies ocean view room in Laguna Beach’s Casa Del Camino Hotel debunks any doubts one might have about themed rooms. This ocean view room is a collaborative project between Etnies’ Pierre Andre Senizergues and Don Brown, and the former worked eco-elements into the room.  Items and decorations are carefully curated to reflect Etnies’ roots in skateboarding. On the wall, decks are nailed in not simply as decorative items, but they are a part of the skateboarding mini bar purveying, of course, skateboards so guests can take the decks out for some shredding. Moving on to the bathroom, even the sink is carefully thought out and is built to shape like the iconic Chicken’s Pool skate spot in Orange County. Of course this is not exactly the cheapest destination for young buddies but i think if you’re around Laguna Beach and want to feel a pro for one day…then… go SK8!!!

You get the idea, the etnies team drive around the country hitting up shops along the way. There seems to be a huge amount of Tiny Hamlin footage in this which is in no way a bad thing.

Giornata easy per i nostri eroi. 3 ore di skate consecutive per la gioia dei local e dei clienti di High Time.

Un sacco di tricks sono stati fatti alla prima. E il local che chiude il report é troppo ignorante! Paura!

Angelo passa intere giornate allo skatepark di Castelfranco. Lì si diverte a infastidire la sua crew, macinare le tavole che produco e limonare un pò. Qualche giorno fà gli ho fatto notare che con tutti i tricks che chiude ogni giorno avrebbe potuto tranquillamente montare una breve video part. Su fratello Nicola allora si é acceso, ha messo in Rec la camera e questo é il risultato.

Okay, so I’m currently in the middle of doing a Primary PGCE (that’s training to be a primary school teacher, folks) and I’m specialising in Art & Design (well, duh). I’ve got to think up and deliver an art project in the school I’m training in, so here I am thinking of what I could do.

Transworld skate magazine holds this contest called ‘Skate and Create’ which I think is in it’s second year. I won’t attempt anything like what the teams produced for this contest, but it certainly serves as inspiration. Anyway here’s the winner of this years contest (Etnies):

I’m a huge fan of THE GONZ and he’s pretty heavy in the art world these days, always inspiring. Obviously his ’skatewheel’ contraption wouldn’t pass the risk assessment for a class of 5 year old kids.

I was thinking maybe doing something with putting paint on skate wheels and rolling around on a canvas? Might get a bit Jackson Pollock.

Any ideas readers?
