I spy a display filled with our one of a kind upcycled burlap and grain sack market shoppers. I enjoy visiting customers stores, meeting the staff, getting to know them better and to see the creative way in which they display our products. It helps me learn about their needs and how we can better serve them.

We met with buyer Tehra Braren for lunch and she took us to Cornerstone Sonoma just up the road from her shop. Over lunch we learned her hobby was beekeeping, she finds it soothing to her soul and discovered how it connects her to the cycle of life. That’s divine, don’t you think?

One of the best place to find really amazing salvage from all over the US and Europe. Some of the best designers in the country use this hidden treasure to find one of a kind gem’s.

It’s a magical space, with random eclectic object’s and a design element lovers dream.

Being a lover of four legged’s my favorite discovery was sweet UMA, a English Bull Dog that reminded me of a chinese foo dog.

After lunch we unintentionally hit the back roads of Sonoma thanks to Google maps for a surprisingly delightful drive to Buena Vista Winery.

Founded in 1857, Buena Vista is California’s oldest premium winery, and its history is as colorful as it is proud.

I love the Buena Vista compound for it’s authentic heritage and vine covered stone buildings. When I am here I feel transported to Europe and another place and time. The winery’s colorful founder, The Count of Buena Vista, pioneered premium winemaking in California. A tireless and passionate devotee of California wine, The Count imported hundreds of premium vines from Europe, dug Sonoma’s first wine caves, introduced innovative viticulture techniques, and wrote the first treatise on California wine.

If you have a free afternoon I highly recommend an exploratory drive through The Sonoma Valley, it’s an hour’s drive from San Francisco and well worth the time.
