<description><![CDATA[Woke up bright and early and went to Ian&#8217;s house to help him jack up his car onto 4 jack stand]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Woke up bright and early and went to Ian&#8217;s house to help him jack up his car onto 4 jack stands. He&#8217;s gunna go through the whole powdercoating process I went through except he doesn&#8217;t have wheels to drive on.</p>

<p>Got it up onto the jackstands, then we took the wheels to get the tires dismounted. Then went to Linco to drop the wheels off for stripping. They charged him $60, WTF, mine was only $40 -_-. They said materials and etc has gone up, fking BS.</p>

<p>We decided to grab my FN&#8217;s on the way back to Ian&#8217;s place so he will be able to drive his car and whatnot. So we picked up the FN&#8217;s went back to Ian&#8217;s. Ian&#8217;s Evo has Ichiba 20mm spacers all around and my FN&#8217;s are 18&#215;9.5 +12 so together, the effective offset would be -8! HAHA.</p>
<p>I wanted to remove the spacers and throw the wheels on so he could drive his car and whatnot but, he didn&#8217;t want to retorque the spacers back on since he doesn&#8217;t have a torque wrench.</p>
<p>We threw the wheels on, they stuck out like MAD. Ian turned the wheel a little bit and they would already rub the fenderwells haha.</p>
<p>Ben stopped by also to help =). Then later on another friend, Alex came by, he has a white Evo 8. So, it was like an Evo meet again haha.</p>

<p>Roy asked me if I could install his OEM aero front lip on his brand new white 2010 Evo X, the thing had only 710 miles on it <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_surprised.gif' alt=':o' class='wp-smiley' /> . He also needed to have his new short-shifter installed which Pat took care of.</p>
<p>I am so jealous of the new center displays on the 2010, I forgot to take a pic, sry but wow its WORLD&#8217;s better than what the 08&#8217;s come with. Also the side skirts are pretty aggressive as well, they flare outward sorta, like some aero kits you would find on 240s like Origin or BN Sports, just not as aggressive haha but just a hint.</p>

<p>Ian stopped by soon after in his red 08 X to pick up some stuff from me and to hang out. He&#8217;s gunna get his wheels powdercoated tomorrow.</p>

<p>The lip install didn&#8217;t go as smoothly as planned =(, in the end, there were lots of plastic tabs with nowhere to go and holes that didn&#8217;t want to line up so I had to resort to using zipties. I am so sorry Roy, I wish I could have done a more professional job =(. I successfully ghettofied a brand new car =(. The lip fits perfectly though and it will hold up, but its just the fact that now there are cheap zipties holding up something that was once held up by OEM push tabs is ehh.. it makes me feel bad since its not MY car.</p>
<p>Thanks Ian for providing the jokes and help throughout, thanks Pat for getting me outta those sticky situations in which the stupid plastic tabs didn&#8217;t wanna come out, and thanks Roy for being understanding (IM SORRY).</p>
<p>I probably won&#8217;t agree to install another front lip again, until I have the proper instructions to lol.</p>

<p>O cara levou de novo. Simplesmente não esxiste ninguém melhor que o francês quando falamos de cascalho, neve, asfalto, terra, ou a combinação disso tudo.</p>
<p>Sébastien Loeb conquistou o hexacampeonato do WRC neste domingo (25) ao vencer o Rali da Grã-Bretanha. Com isso, o francês establece o mais  novo recorde de conquistas seguidas da categoria.</p>
<p>Loeb foi muito mal na segunda metade do campeonato, é verdade, mas nas etapas finais ele se recuperou, voltou a vencer. Mikko Hirvonen foi corajoso o ano todo, tentou acompanhar o francês, chegaram com uma diferença mínima nesta última etapa, mas&#8230;</p>
<p>Depois de uma equilibrada luta no primeiro dia de prova, logo nas etapas iniciais do segundo dia o francês mostrou porque tem tantos títulos e vitórias, ao colocar uma diferença de 30s em cima de Hirvonen no final do dia.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2406" title="loeb" src="http://formulatotal.wordpress.com/files/2009/10/loeb.jpg" alt="loeb" width="655" height="436" /><em>Loeb no segundo dia: deu show e praticamente colocou a mão na taça</em>.</p>
<p>Mikko Hirvonen ainda deu um ar da sua graça, aproveitando as excessivas cautelas com que Loeb encarou o terceiro dia, e recuperou 11.2s, reduzindo a margem para 18.2. Mas na penúltima especial o capô do Ford Focus do finlandês soltou-se depois de um salto, e obrigou Hirvonen a parar para resolver o problema. Um minuto foi o tempo que Hirvonen perdeu na especial e com isso quase todas as  chances que ainda tinha de terminar a prova na frente de Loeb, o que precisava para ser Campeão.</p>

<p>Petter Solberg fechou em quarto lugar, seguido do seu irmão Henning Solberg. Matthew Wilson foi o sexto, com Jari-Matti Latvala em sétimo.</p>

Este foi um dos meus melhores títulos, pois a luta foi muito intensa, e durou até ao penúltimo trecho do último rali. Foi incrível! Tivemos altos e baixos mas o sabor da vitória é muito bom.&#8221;, disse Loeb.</p>

<td style="font:normal normal normal 12px/normal Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12px;line-height:15px;" width="100%" valign="top">A much anticipated detail was completed this Friday on a beautiful &#8216;08 Evo X. The owner has owned the vehicle for a month and was happy with its current condition. The vehicles was treated to 1-stage machine detail to enhance the paintwork along with protection from Valentines Concours Wax.</p>
<p>The package performed on this vehicle was<span style="color:#ff9900;"><strong> Gold</strong></span>.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight:bold;">On Arrival</span></p>
<p>Not quite exactly, I forgot to take photos before the car was washed as I needed to crack on, so here is how it stood after a snow foam and wash.</p>

<p>Looking pretty good already but time will tell a different story.</p>
<p>The alloys were then treated with an APC, no before pictures as it was nearly spotless in the first places.</p>

<p>The tyres were dressed and the wheels were sealed later in the detail.</p>
<p>The vehicle was then clayed to remove any bonded contaminants on the paintwork.</p>

<p>The rest of the car was very much the same throughout.</p>
<p>Paint readings were then taken with a paint thickness gauge to assess how healthy the paint levels were.</p>

<span style="font-weight:bold;">Heighest Paint Level</span> 138 microns</p>
<p>I know there is one at 314 microns but as it was so random and in only place I disregarded this reading. The levels of paint were healthy enough to proceed, however the lower paint reading areas around the wings were approached with more caution.</p>
<p>The vehicle was then masked up and it was time to see what condition the paintwork was in. Dodo Juice Lime Prime on a polishing pad was used for correction throughout, which produced great results, leaving only a few marks, which will be tackled at a later date if required.</p>

<p>After correcting the vehicle the car was treated with Valentines Concours Wax, the plastics were dressed, the exhaust was polished and the windows were treated with a rain repellent glass cleaner.</p>

<p>Lupta de pe meleagurile raliurilor s-a transferat pe asfaltul de zi cu zi in momentul in care Mitsubishi si Subaru au lansat versiuni de strada ale bolizilor din WRC. Ani de zile s-a dus o lupta crancena intre cei doi japonezi, ultima etapa fiind castigata de Mitsubishi cu al sau EVO X. Cum Subaru nu putea sa stea cu mainile in san si sa-si dezamageasca fanii, <a rel="181" href="http://www.topgear.ro/stiri/subaru_-bata-si-balta#gallery-album181"> </a>Impreza WRX STI Carbon  pare a fi solutia pentru a mai sterge ranjetul de pe fata Mitsubishi.</p>
<p>Sa vedem cu ce ne-am ales: o Impreza cu acoperis din fibra de carbon. Maniacii vitezei vor aprecia acest lucru, pentru ca centrul de greutate a fost coborat si poti arunca mai curajos masina in curbe. Si de la acest aspect se pot naste discutii lungi printre pasionati: ca de ce e mai bine, ca te ajuta nu stiu cum, ca arata mai bine&#8230; pricepeti ideea.</p>
<p>Toate bune si frumoase pana acum: 300 CP si o Impreza care a slabit&#8230; suna bine. In cazul in care v-ati hotarat sa alegeti Impreza in defavoarea lui EVO, ar fi bine sa va ganditi un pic. Nu de alta, dar WRX STI Carbon dispune de o cutie automata in cinci trepte&#8230; Da, ai citit bine: CUTIE AUTOMATA. Pana si cei mai radicali dintre fani vor stramba din nas cand vor auzi cele doua cuvinte. Cutia automata pe o masina sport este ca un telefon mobil fara vreo cale de a forma numere. Intotdeauna iti vei da seama ca masina poate mai mult, doar ca transmisia automata se va purta ca Inchizitia Spaniola cand vei avea chef sa te joci putin.</p>
<p>Nu stiu daca baietii de la Mitsubishi s-au prapadit de ras cand au auzit de actuala versiune de Impreza, dar mie imi vine sa plang cand ved ca o masina absolut senzationala este stricata pe zi ce trece. Pacat&#8230;</p>

There have been ten official versions to date, and the designation of each model is most commonly a roman numeral. All of them share a two litre, turbocharged engine and four-wheel drive system. Evolution models prior to version VII were the homologation models for Mitsubishi&#8217;s efforts in the World Rally Championship. In order to follow these rules, the Evolution was based on the same unibody as the Lancer.</p>

<p>HKS esta en constante desarrollo y para el nuevo Mitsubishi Evo X tiene ya un largo catalogo de material. Para ello os ponemos la lista de las piezas disponibles actualemente para el Evo X</p>
<p>Actualmente HKS esta evolucionando un Evo x para circuitos en japon, el cual actualmente es el evox mas rapido de todo japon.</p>

<li>Super Hybrid Filter. Filtro de sustitucion que ha desarrollado en las pruebas una mejora de 12 caballos a la rueda. $45</li>
<li>Racing Suction Reloaded Kit. Sistema de sustituye los elementos originales por tubos de aluminio de mayor diametro y filtro HKS humedo de dos densidades. $590</li>
<li>Premium Suction Kit. Sistema de admision que trabaja conjuntamente con la caja del filtro, se compone de una tuberia de aluminio pulida entre la caja y la admision conjuntamente con un filtro de HKS. $435</li>
<li>Legamax Premium Muffler. Sisrtema trasero en acero 304 con diamtro de 110mm y colas de titanio, produce una ganancia de 5 cv a la rueda. $825</li>
<li>Center Pipe 65mm SUS304. Para trabajar conjuntamente con el escape legamax. $400</li>
<li>Front Pipe 65mm SUS304. Para un maximo flujo y spool del turbo, fabricado en 65mm esta pensado solo para competicion por la anulacion de los catalizadores. $299</li>
<li>Bumper Protector Set. Para proteger el paragolpes trasero del calor de los escapes, esta realizado en acero 304 y tienen el logo de HKS grabado. $350</li>

Subaru owners, Mitsubishi owners, and everything in between have opted for simpler mods like wheels and suspension. In a scene that&#8217;s littered with knock-off Rotas and replica front lips, it&#8217;s very nice to see some people staying true and doing it big.</p>

This Evo X with an aggressive set of Volk CE28N&#8217;s and a full Voltex body kit goes to show that some are still going for quality and supporting an industry we&#8217;re all proud be be a part of.</p>

And somehow the AMS crew has been able to coax big numbers from the new 4B11 despite the lack of a G, a 6, or a 3 in the engine designation. Not only is the car stupid fast but AMS has plans in place for more power and even better aero with the aid of a flat bottom floor that has yet to be installed. <p style="text-align:left;">The test drive finally occurred (many would not let me) and I fell in love, my initial thoughts of how it handled were like that of a 328xi. Not as rigid though, but with a lot less rattle then the ct9a&#8217;s and yes I love the 4g63 but I wanted to see what the future held in store for Mitsubishi&#8217;s new iteration of their hero car I&#8217;d read so much about. Heavier body, lighter engine, active yaw controls first trip over to the United States from Japan I didn&#8217;t need anymore convincing.
