Wow, probably the first friday where I am so stuffed and bored Im just gonna go straight to bed…
Too tired to play Metal Gear, too tired to watch a movie…too tired to do anything, really.

What to do this weekend:
-Record movie, one of my actors is sick though so this might have to be postpond until next weekend, however we might be able to film another flick if I can get my friend INZ to be cameraman.
-Write weekreports; 4 weekreports…shouldnt be too hard.
-Train on Sunday? I hope so…

As finale, I am getting my brand new IDcard on monday, so as soon as I do, I am going by my banks to fix money and a bankcard! PRONTO!

Oh I read in the news not too long ago, that the leadsinger of Takida tried to commit suicide a few years back.
I think he said he slit his wrists up “but something went wrong so he had to call an ambulance“…
Okay, what could really go wrong? I would think in a suicide situation everything wrong is good…like if it bleeds too much thats good, because ya wanna die, right.
Or maybe his mom walked in on him or something, thinking he was masturbating and he didnt want to die in shame… anyways glad he didnt die otherwise he wouldnt have made the great love song “Curly Sue“.



Makes me think back to over a year ago, I got a call from my ex saying she’d cut up her wrists, and she even sent me a picture…it was really terrifying and so sad, because there was nothing I could do to help her, since she was in another city.
Later that day she was institutionalized for over a month :/

What drives and motivates a person so much that he/she considers suicide?
It is really sad, because mostly these people carry a great weight inside, such emotional and psycological pain.
One of my worst fears is psycological instability and depression, though I have felt many mild episodes of this, I cant begin to imagine how it is for some people who struggle through the whole of their lives.
Something or someone can so easily ruin another persons life and make them so utterly depressed and psycologically frail that nothing is worth living for… I recognize the feeling, and I know a couple who have that feeling everyday.
I guess that is why many people consort to physical pain rather than psycological, the pain goes away much faster.

I think people who go through many hardships in their lives grow stronger and gain more experience and wisdom in life.
You can sometimes really feel a persons heart and soul, when they have been through lifechanging happenings like great downtimes.
I have had my share, and I feel like I am way ahead in my life, for I dont take it for granted anymore, I am not a child and havnt been for a while I believe.
That is what I like in certain people though, the maturity of their innerself, and I do find that very attractive in girls, who are very mature deep within.
But still, they must have their free and colourful nature, in tune with reality, morals, ethics, thought and reason.

When I meet a girl, I can usually tell if they are special.
Certain girls have certain glows to them, an aura.
I need a girl with experience, wisdom and maturity; I cannot stress that enough.
It is hard to put into words exaclty what I mean…but then again…who cares, I will know when I find her.

Most of this dream is already lost to me. I remember some important details, however. I was in a hotel in a city, and I was unable to get into my room, which was in another building. I decided to crawl out of the window and to attempt to ninja my way over to the other side via climbing, crawling, etc. I entered the building and made my way into my room, where a woman was, my ex-girlfriend. At this point, it began to rain. She undressed to just her panties and walked outside. I followed her, and asked if she loved someone, which to me was obvious she did (regardless of the actual situation in real life). She wouldn’t admit to it. However, I was not asking her this in an angry interrogative tone. My manner of questioning was done more so in a teasing manner. This leads me to believe that I am finally over this person.

I hate breaking up. The whole process sucks. Even when your ex is an asshole. You just sit around thinking what are they doing, do they miss you, are they with someone else. I am trying not to think of any of the good times and just focus on the bad. I have this tendency of dwelling on how sweet he was sometimes or how much fun we had together. When I need to be thinking of all the fucked up shit he put me through and how unhappy I was with him. I mean this guy was awful. I don’t even want to get into details because it pisses me off so bad. What pisses me off even more is myself for missing him. I mean I have been so upset. Today was Thanksgiving and I could barely eat. We had some off the chain food too. Normally I would have tore that food up but because of this bullshit I ate like a bird. I hate feeling like this. Why do guys make it their business to come around and treat you perfect only to switch out halfway through the relationship. What really makes me angry is that I told him look I am just getting over my last relationship so I don’t want to get involved in anything serious. You can guess what he said next and then how my dumb ass fell for it. Yep so here is the result of listening to an asshole. I am at home crying wishing I would have told him to kick rocks the first time we spoke. So this feeling will pass and I can’t wait. Being around you makes me feel like I’m 18 again. I’m not sure I like that. I can’t go back there. Last night I went to bed and realized I had some unresolved feelings for you. I started to tear up. I can’t let that happen.

I had such a rough day at work today my only thought was where was your dog so I could give him a big ole hug. Getting to play with him Monday night took away so much of my tears and pain and worries. He better be prepared for tonnes of hugs and kisses Monday night.

This is all so odd and weird and surreal and all those other words like that. I don’t know what’s going on in my head. I don’t know what I can say. I just hope I don’t embarrass myself too much.

This Monday past when you say next to me and you accidentally touched my leg I froze up. It was so strange to me. There was a part of me that just wanted to lean my head on your shoulder. You seem so very familiar to me and yet very much a stranger. I was so taken aback when you offered to drive me home (with 2 other people I guess to make me feel more comfortable). Thank you.

While I’m not sure about being 18, I am sure I like feeling this alive.

Like two weeks ago, I received a call from a guy that I hate, [PP]. We went to the same under-grad school, and he was my ex’s roommate. They lived in the same building as me, but below me. This guy really sucks. He is what I have deemed an insecure badass. He always acted like he was awesome and a lot of people liked him, but this was not the case.  He seems to thrive off of drama, and loves to stir shit up just to  be the center of attention. I also had the pleasure of working with him. He didn’t bathe often enough and smelled really badly, our boss at work actually ended up saying something to him about it.Well, things between the ex and I were pretty toxic, and [PP] would tell everyone at work and school about my life’s drama and mess. I don’t really talk about personal stuff at work, it is work, and I don’t think it is appropriate. But he would say stuff about my life when I wasn’t at work, and people would tell me later what he said and discuss my issues with me. I am not okay with this at all. I prefer to keep my personal shit to myself. But [PP] had a big mouth. So I called him out on it, and we got in a huge fight. I basically told him that I would pretend like he didn’t exist and he better do the same with me. He did a few other douche bag things, and after that last conversation we never spoke again.

So like I said, he called and I was pretty confused as to why this douche would try to call me after years of not speaking. Well, I found out why yesterday. I  went to eat lunch with a friend of mine that works with [PP]. Turns out that he is now trying to apply to the school that I am currently going to, and was just wanting to “patch things up.” AKA wanting me to put in a good word for him. When my friend mentioned that she was seeing me, [PP]made some snide comment about me, so obviously he still doesn’t like me, but isn’t against using me. Funny, you are complete and total bastard, but when you want something, you’re willing to call me out of the blue, well [PP], don’t worry. I have plenty of stuff that I can tell the students on the admission panel about you, stupid fucking gobshit! In fact, I would be more than happy to tell them what I think of you, so don’t worry, I have more than a few words saved up to describe you. And don’t worry, I will. I have asked my friend to inform me if he is given an interview at my school just so I can be sure to vouch for his character And yesI am spiteful, just to prove it check this out, I am that spiteful!

16 Nov 2009 A 55-year-old Taiwanese man tricked up to 20 women into having sex with him in an elaborate scam where he posed as both a handsome young man and that man’s ailing father.

Hsu Shian-ming, who was arrested on Saturday, allegedly posted photos of a youthful male model online, claiming to be that person, and attracted numerous calls from women interested in romantic liaisons, the China Post reported.

Hsu would then use the telephone conversations to tell his victims he had a father whose medical condition required constant sex to stay alive, sweet-talking them into doing what was necessary to save him, it said.

The women would then meet up with the “father”, also Hsu, waiting for them at various hotels in Taipei, according to the report.

One of his victims eventually became suspicious after several attempts to see the handsome “son” were unsuccessful, and after she uncovered the truth with the help of private investigators, police were involved, the paper said.

I know this isn’t exactly gender exclusive but I’m pretty sure women started it, and have perfected it throughout history.

Do you really expect me to believe this was just about slavery. She was using songs, telegraphs, and the like to get the heck out of there. Escaping the south? More like escaping all the lame southern dudes.

Example 3: Jackie O

Oh yeah, I’m saying it. Jackie O was behind the whole thing. Jack Ruby? Lee Harvey Oswald? C’mon conspiracy theorists…aim a little higher. Jackie O was the mastermind behind that one. And why shouldn’t she be? Her husband was a hot shot playboy AND president to boot. He could have Marilyn or any other lady he wanted…does this a good husband make? And we’ve all learned how tough and frowned upon divorce was back in those days (thank you Mad Men).  Sure, she’s a national treasure, but part of that is her bravery and spirit in the face of her husband’s death. That was the ultimate excuse for her to get any situation, all she had to do is act choked up, she didn’t even have to say, “Oh I’m sorry, my husband was shot…” Because everybody already knew where they were when this happened and she had all of our sympathies.

You can’t help but fall victim to slang in your life. Phrases that come shooting into the vernacular and within five minutes are already passe, we’re constantly looking for the new, fresh way to sound hip & cool. Personally, I’m very jive so these phrases tend to bug the bejesus out of me. Back in the 90s we were treated to many million mini Alicia Silverstones. Years later, girls still refer to Clueless as a “classic”, but you don’t hear “As if” at all anymore.

The latest offender is something that grates at my soul and is worse than nails on a chalkboard to me.

Now there are plenty of other offenders but, obvi just annoys me to no end. Apparently in this text,blog, twit-a-minute world we live in we don’t have the time for “ously”.  Probs and the like also bug me, but there is something so immature, so childish….and not like high-school childish, not even jr high school childish, I’m talking middle-school childish… about this. It reeks of the obnoxiousness of tween girls and Miley Cyrus. To me obvi is so obno annoy.

What do we do with the exes?

I’ve been on all the sides. Been an ex, (and naturally) have had an ex, been with somebody with an ex and (naturally again) been with somebody who’s an ex himself. And let me tell you….the whole thing is ugly. Or at least that’s the way I see it.

I am not being judgmental here. I don’t hate exes. Hell, I love them. They are the ones who keep the little sparks in the relationship alive. They are the ones who make for those cute little tiffs that make “making up” all the more endearing. If ever you run out of things to sniff about (this is for the girls, by the way, though I have known guys to play this game too) there’s always the “ex-factor”. You can always start asking questions like “Was she more beautiful than me? Do you wish you were with her instead? Are you in touch with her now?” and make sure that the guy sits up and takes notice and starts paying you more attention just so long as you don’t overdo it (then it becomes a drag….and sends out the message that you are insecure) And if what you fear about him being still in touch with his ex turns out to be true, and he doesn’t want you to know, then there are always the guilt gifts to keep you happy. So you see, I don’t have anything against them exes. It’s just that the handling bit gets to me big time. Could never get the hang of it, and I hate things I can’t do properly.

For a girl going out with a guy, I think the ex would rate right after the big M. They both come with the “Handle with Care” tag. Rule of the thumb is to keep away from them….as far away from them as possible. And for as long as possible. Especially in case of the ex and ex-especially if the break-up has been anywhere in the last couple of years. Chances of you having to meet the ex is pretty slim, so maybe you don’t really have to worry about the keeping away from them bit, but yeah, you could try keep them away from conversations as much as possible. There are two ways of going ahead with this. You could be the friend, the shoulder to cry upon and try amusing yourself by dreaming about those amazing pair of shoes you’d seen the other day, while the dude goes on and on about it to get it out of his system once and for all, and doesn’t notice that you have phased out. And after it is over, you let him know just how much you appreciate him sharing all this with you, and how it was so not his fault and how you will always be there for him and give him enough love to forget that “what’s her name was”. You also add, very sweetly, that now that the past is buried in the past (he must of course feel lighter after letting it out of his chest, right?) could you guys just move on to the future and leave the past where it should be? Behind? (And mind you, it is out of decency that you don’t use the more appropriate and on the tip-of-the-tongue synonym…you know, the one with that certain part of our anatomy)

Or you could play the jealous girlfriend (to some extent jealousy IS romantic….shows that you care this way or the other) and say that you don’t ever want to hear about her from him. For all you care, she doesn’t exist and she never did. You tell him you don’t want to know about the past because you don’t care about what had happened as long as his present and future is with you. And then, for good measure, you add the “I love you….and I have faith in you…and I will keep loving you no matter what” bit so that he knows exactly what you’re talking about. No talk about ex. End of discussion.

So what do you do when you’re the one having to handle an ex, and the guy’s the one with his tiny little insecurities? Well, that depends…on precisely how you feel. I have always kind of believed that exes cannot be friends. I mean, I am yet to see two people who have been lucky enough to have remained friends after going through the heart-breaking and immensely bitter course of a break-up. I know that’s what they all say when they decide they want to break up with you…or maybe you kid yourself into believing that maybe this once, just this once, a relationship need not remain sour forever. But that rarely happens, does it? The stronger the relationship, the longer it had lasted, the closer you’d been and the more passionate the emotions had been the more difficult it is to tone them down to the steady and unbiased feelings one associates with friendship. But let’s not get into the technicalities just as yet. Back to the way you feel….so, if you’ve been the one to dump, and you’ve got somebody in your life who makes you happy and keeps those “How could I have been an A-class bitch?” feelings at bay, it would be wise to steer clear of any conversation that reminds the poor bloke of the fact that he is going out with “Miss I-Dumped-my-loser-of-a-boyfriend”. It would do no good for him to keep wondering if he’d have to walk down the same road some day. Habits are hard to break you see, and everybody knows that the liberating taste of being the dumper and not the dumped is something any self-respecting girl would cherish close to her heart. Also, this means that if you keep talking to your ex, you are in the weird position of having to tell him you’re going out with somebody (to which he would confirm that you are, after all, an A-class bitch) or having to hide it from him (to which your own conscience will start singing the bitch song). So it would be best to stay away from him till the time you are ready enough to not defend yourself and everything that you did in front of him each time you talk to him.

However, if you’ve been on the wrong end of the spectrum, and some pathetic loser (can’t help being a feminist here) had broken your heart and you have finally found somebody to take you out of that deep abyss of absolute misery you had drowned yourself in, then maybe at times its not that bad an idea to let out a deep sigh all of a sudden without any reason sometime during the course of an absolutely sunny conversation. And when asked what the matter is, maybe subtle reminders of the fact that you had been dumped (don’t be overt and obvious, though…and even here, moderation is the keyword….don’t overdo it) would keep that knight in shining armor spirit burning nice and strong. But it is fair enough to say you have to stop talking to your ex. Like absolutely. If you’d been dumped, chances of you still going through that bitter “oh I love him so and I hate him so” phases are very high. So to keep things sane, maybe you should not talk to the ex at all. And if the Gods play their games right for once and someday he comes back to you begging, make the most of it. Look your best….better still, outdo yourself. And please make sure he gets the feeling that you are much, much happier than you actually are. In the meanwhile, though, make sure your present guy feels like he is the reason you are happy, and once you’re out of that damsel in distress zone, do thank him again and again for the change he’s brought to your life. Its good to be grateful. And it sure is good to feed his ego every once in a while.

Ahem, back to the basics…so lesson learnt from case studies Dumper and Dumped. Not to talk to the ex.

If however, both the people in a relationship have been exes, no matter what the combination is: dumped-dumped or dumper-dumper or dumper-dumped, it is maybe best to talk about things. Maybe talking does help sort things out. Especially in the last combination, maybe talking would help both understand the other side of things. On the other hand being on the same side of the spectrum brings the “we are so in the same boat…lets row together” sentiment alive. And if ever things come to drowning point, the blame can always be shared. They did row together after all.

Enough of that tomfoolery. …time to stop this monkey business. Break-ups are serious….and to joke about exes is nothing short of breaking the sanctity of the very book of love. The book which has all the rules written down in no less than the blood of million bleeding achy-breaky hearts. We still are to answer the question with which I started, though. What the hell do we do with the exes? We let them be, don’t we? We don’t poke or prod…and we sure as anything don’t try bring them back. We move on, and we make life move on. We laugh about the good times, and slowly let the bad ones fade. Selective amnesia is the word I am looking for I guess. And this is where I know I have an angel of a mom. When this one day I was moping and moaning and crying (very loudly, too, if I may add) for the umpteenth time on the phone about how I can’t forget anything about my brand-new ex, and that I want to, I almost heard my mom smile over the line as she said, “Why do you have to forget everything? Keep the memories safe somewhere. You don’t need to show it to anyone that you miss him…you tuck those good times somewhere deep down, and if someday you feel like, you take them out, go through them like you would go through old photographs, and then after you’re done, tuck them back again safely” And maybe I’d say the same thing. Because after a while, those vivid snapshots that you think will remain crystal clear forever inside your mind and heart will fade. No matter how much you try not to, you will someday forget the way he had smelled, or the way his touch had made you feel. Those photos will wear down after some time….no earlier and no later.

There must have been a reason an ex became an ex….and truth be known that history does repeat itself. Exceptions being ignored…and duly and heartily blessed of course. So what we do about the exes….we let them remain exes. Because that is the only way everybody rests…sorry, I mean, lives…and loves in peace.

I know I tried keeping this blog anonymous but I knew at some point someone was going to grab my iPhone or my computer and find the blog by mistake. Well, just like my first comment (and still the only one), it happened much faster than I thought.

So he read it and her only comment was… wow, you have to rewrite everything you said!

This is how it went…

Him: wow, you have to rewrite everything you said!
Me: why?
Him: because if I didn’t know you I’d think you’re not over your ex-wife!
Me: that doesn’t make sense, I am
Him: I know, that’s why you have to rewrite it!
Me: but, that’s not what I meant, I’m sure you’re not reading it correctly
Him: sure, I know what you meant but I assure you what’s written is not good
Me: well, I’ve never really been a good writer but that’s not how I feel, you know that, why would it sound like that?
Him: because you wanted to sound a mix between victim and funny and it just turned out wrong… worse than that, if any possible girlfriend reads this you’re screwed!
Me: I still think you’re taking things way over proportion
Him: Sure, do you want me to call XXX and see what he thinks?
Me: Noooooo! Ok, you win, but I won’t erase or rewrite anything, I’ll just post this conversation and try to say things differently from now on…

So here I am, apologizing for the second time in less than a week and promising a new change. The only problem is that this time I’m not sure I’ll be able to do it right as I’m not really sure what’s wrong!

I think tomorrow I’ll write about my ex-wife and our current relationship, maybe this will clear up things a little bit… or maybe my friend, who will for sure read this blog from now on (he’s not the reader I’m looking for ) will beat me up for screwing it up even more

“Ist das von Lisa?”, fragte Tom, nachdem er Mona zu sich gerufen hatte. Seine Stimme überschlug sich dabei.
“Woher soll ich das wissen?” Mona wischte mit dem Finger über den Fleck in der Badewanne und betrachtete dann das rote Geschmiere auf der Kuppe.
“Haben sie Lisa … ermordet?”
“Das glaube ich nicht. Noch nicht. Sonst hätten wir hier vermutlich ihre Leiche gefunden.” Mona wusch sich die Hände. “Aber sie hat ihnen offenbar auch nicht gegeben, wonach sie gesucht haben.”
“Woher wollen Sie das wissen?” Die Frage schoss ihm unerwartet heftig aus dem Mund. Es machte ihn fertig, mit welcher Ruhe Mona vorging. Es machte ihn fertig, was überhaupt vorging.
“Ganz einfach, niemand hätte die ganze Wohnung durchsucht, wenn sie das Verlangte freiwillig herausgerückt hätte.”
Das leuchtete ihm ein. “Aber wo ist sie jetzt?”
“Vermutlich auf dem Weg zu Ihnen.”
“Zu mir?”
“Dorthin, wo man auch Sie schon gefangen hält. Nur dass Sie dort nicht mehr sind.” Mona lachte. “Kommen Sie!”
Tom war gar nicht zum Lachen zumute. Er blieb stehen. “Wissen Sie, wie spät es ist?”
Mona schaute auf eine Armbanduhr, die Tom für ihr Handgelenk deutlich zu klobig fand. “Gleich um sechs.”
“Dann muss ich jetzt nach Hause. Die Arbeit ruft.” Er hob entschuldigend die Schultern.
Mona starrte ihn einen Moment an, bevor sie mit einem verächtlichen Schnauben den Kopf schüttelte. “Sie sind wirklich selten dämlich. Glauben Sie wirklich, Sie können jetzt einfach wieder zur Arbeit gehen und alles vergessen? Eigentlich könnte es mir ja egal sein, aber Sie sollten wissen, dass Sie jetzt auf einer Abschussliste stehen. Und wenn Ihnen das schon nichts bedeutet, sollten Sie sich wenigstens Sorgen um Ihre Freundin machen.”
“Ex-Freundin”, warf Tom vorsichtig ein, ohne große Hoffnung, das würde in den Augen Monas irgendetwas ändern. Nicht einmal sein eigenes Gewissen konnte es beruhigen.
“Sie sind ein Arsch! Und Sie können mir glauben, dass ich nichts lieber täte, als Sie hier stehen zu lassen. Aber Sie werden mir nicht von der Seite weichen, bis ich nicht das Artefakt habe.” Sie hob ihre Pistole. “Als Alternative lasse ich nur Ihren Tod gelten.”

Was bisher geschah

Everything remains unchanged.

the scent,

the taste.

Nothing’s changed.

Umm, maybe the feeling has altered a bit.

According an article, in 2009 Jakarta has something around 130 shopping malls, which is one of the biggest in the world. Another article said that in 2008 Jakarta has 90 malls. So estimated, 40 malls was built in Jakarta during 2008-2009. No wonder, as a routine visitor of malls, I am a little bit left behind: There are some shopping malls I have not visited yet. So, I went to five malls on Saturday and Sunday, which are nothing compared the whole mall population in Jakarta.

On saturday, first mall I visited was Plaza Indonesia complex in the central of Jakarta.  It consists three malls : Plaza Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia Extension, and eX. There are different segment targeting in each mall. Plaza Indonesia targets mature and rich people, eX targets younger rich people, while Plaza Indonesia Extension reach mix of these target groups.

With many tenants from exclusive brands, Plaza Indonesia is one of very limited choice for brand shopping. Let say one brand which is not common in world of handphone. Vertu, a high-end brand of handphone, has only three stores in Jakarta and Bandung, one of them is in Plaza Indonesia. Classic luxurious brand like Gucci, Bvlgari, and Ermenegildo Zegna give Plaza Indonesia high reputation as a high class mall in Indonesia.

eX is another story. This is the mall for young rich people. There are many famous brand store here specializing in young people lifestyle, mostly from gadget-electronic store and restaurant-coffee shop. Apple  and Panasonic store are some of their famous tenants from gadget-electronic side. Hardrock Cafe and F Bar & Restaurant are the unique and very famous tenants in the restaurant-cofee shop side. Not to mentioned XXI Cinema theatre, Celebrity Fitness, and Spincity Bowling & Billyard. These tenants make eX as a famous malls for the young and teenager.

Talking about brand new Plaza Indonesia Extension, like its name, it is an extension mall concept for Plaza Indonesia. Nowadays, mall is not only shopping center. Mall is a place where you can spend time with your whole family. So, a mall should contain complete place for each family member.

Before, mall consists only fashion and accesories stores which serve mostly mommy and teenager girls. How about daddy? Maybe he will go to electronic or workshop store. How about teenager boys? Maybe he will go to sport store. How about younger boy and girl? Plaza Indonesia Extension provides Miniapolis. This complex consists of many fascilities for children, like railless train and carrousel. There are also many famous stores related to children fashion and accessories.

Another thing, Extension’s interior design is also fresh concept. All store provides new design which will not be found in all mall in Indonesia and maybe in old mall in the South-Asian region. First time I went there, I felt confuse like I was in a labyrinth. There is a pathway to reach a place. But, after sometimes, I memorized and got used to it.

Not to forget, every travelling should contain culinary travelling. Fatburger is this culinary travelling. Fatburger restaurant is an American franchise provide fresh burgers. The store in Plaza Indonesia Extension is their first store in Indonesia. I sat in front of their open kicthen and saw how they provide a fresh burgers to their customers. That made me review my concepts of hamburgers as junk food when I saw how they made burgers from fresh meat, fresh bread, and fresh vegetables. Great taste anyway!

On Sunday, I went to Mangga Dua Square malls. Different from Plaza Indonesia, Mangga Dua Square provide very low price product. As a part of old city of Jakarta, Mangga Dua is very famous for their low price market.

In line with one stop shopping mall concept, you can find many kind of low price product here, of course not branded one. You can find many stores of fashion product and  electronic-computer product. This will fit if you want to do straight forward shopping.

Mangga dua square is a convinient place to explore, not so crowded in weekends and enough room-air conditioning. This is very contrast with outside of the malls. You will find a river in front of the malls which very easy to get flood when rain comes. Also, the traffic in front of malls get crowded easily.

On Sunday night, I went to Grand Indonesia, a brand new mall complex in front of Plaza Indonesia. Owned by Djarum, a big Indonesian cigarrete company, Grand Indonesia is a direct competitor for Plaza Indonesia, targeted same segment : rich people in Jakarta. Grand Indonesia is very big (640,000 m2) and consist of two part, West Mall and East Mall.

Grand Indonesia is too big for me. I can never finish to explore the mall in one visit. Anyway, I like to explore inside the malls which has fantastic interior. You can find replicas of many classic scenes like Hollywood. You can find replicas of classic train station of America, windmill of Holland, China town.

Gramedia has the biggest store in Grand Indonesia. In front of the store, I found architecture exhibition. My brother put his masterpiece there, Bamboo Museum Park. I took some picture of the scenes.

The Jakarta Mall Tour is one of travelling activities. I can see many behaviour of Jakartanese people here, of course ‘the have’ people of Jakarta. A very contrast with the poor who lives below the bridge, beside the train rail, and street..

Vor sechs Jahren war ich für ungefähr sechs Wochen mit F. zusammen. Getrennt haben wir uns dann, weil er mich nur gebraucht hat, um von seiner damaligen Freundin los zu kommen. Wir haben uns zwischenzeitlich immer mal wieder gesehen, aber nie ein Wort miteinander gewechselt.

Im September war ich auf eine Release-Party eingeladen und er war auch und wir haben tatsächlich geredet. Na ja, auf jeden Fall hat er gefragt, ob wir uns treffen. Ich habe nur gemeint, dass er sich sowieso nicht meldet. Er meinte natürlich meldet er sich, ich dann nur: ich geb Dir 3 Monate! Nachts hat er mir tatsächlich noch eine Mail geschickt. Nachdem zuerst ich krank war und absagen musste und dann er, haben wir es wirklich geschafft, bevor er jetzt Ende November für ein Jahr nach San Francisco geht, zu treffen.

Es war ein sehr lustiger Abend, wir haben viel Spaß gehabt und ein bisschen geflirtet Und er meinte dann, weil damals alles so mies war, dass er mir noch guten Sex schuldig ist… Was soll man da sagen… Da ist man erst einmal sprachlos… Und ich habe es dann halbwegs ignoriert. Ihm wäre es aber am liebsten gewesen, wenn ich mit ihm nach Hause gegangen wäre. Aber da ich ja anständig bin, habe ich mich auf den Weg zu mir nach Hause gemacht. Per SMS haben wir dann noch ein wenig hin und her geschrieben und dass war’s dann.

Was ich jetzt aber festgestellt habe, ist dass er eine Freundin! Männer sind doch einfach… Das kann man doch nicht glauben!
