Benefits of omega 3 fatty acids are enormous – brain development, cardiovascular advantages an

Benefits of omega 3 fatty acids are enormous – brain development, cardiovascular advantages and protection of heart from strokes and attacks top the list. But you know that omega 3 and retina are also related? Regular intake of omega3 decreases the risk of retinal diseases.

Let us explore further

DHA type of omega3 is present in high concentration in retina; a complex, layered structure, light-sensitive part of the eye. Light striking the retina is captured by millions of photoreceptors in it and are converted to electrical impulses. These impulses travel to the brain where they are turned into images. Any damage to retina (because of any reason) could result in permanent blindness.

Scientific studies have proved that consumption of omega 3 and retina health go hand in hand. Retinal diseases as listed below can be prevented with the regular dosage of effective DHA omega fat.

1. Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) – It is the main cause of vision loss in older people in America. In this disease photoreceptors cells in retina break down and die, thus no impulses are sent to brain and you cannot see properly. Omega3 helps in maintaining healthy photoreceptors.

2.Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) – It affects premature babies. Here the blood vessels in the baby’s retina increase excessively, resulting in bleeding, scarring and even blindness in some cases. Regular dose of omega 3 can prevent all this. This is the reason pregnant women are recommended to start on omega 3 from third trimester.

3.Diabetic retinopathy – It happens when either the blood vessels in retina grow abnormally or they swell and leak fluid. Omega3 fat’s anti-inflammatory properties reduce the undesired inflammation and swelling.

Essential omega-3 fatty acids have been found to play an important role in protecting against abnormal growth of blood vessels. It also helps in combating the photoreceptors cell damage. Daily ingestion of omega3 can reduce AMD by more than 38%.

DHA fat being an essential fat (i.e. the body does not produce it internally) is required to be included in your diet to keep retina healthy.

To have right balance between Omega 3 and retina, healthy and oily fish is the best source. But because of toxicity present in them, fish oil supplement has emerged as the best option. However, because supplement industry is not heavily regulated, there are many substandard products available in the markets that still contain these pollutants.

You should always go in for a supplement that has been processed through a purification method known as molecular distillation. This method ensures that all the unwanted and harmful toxins are filtered out and only rich, pure and pharmaceutical grade oil is left for your consumption.

Besides DHA Omega 3 and retina, fish oil supplements are beneficial for brain health too. To find out why you should increase your DHA intake and also what to look for in a quality supplement, visit my website.

For the article writer article writing is more than a task that includes constructing a group of words and getting to a common and understandable point. It involves a general process in order to become more readable and more comprehensive to its prospective readers.

Aside from having perfect grammar having sensible ideas also is extremely important in web content writing. It is also best to keep each article short and concise. Most web users have a hand that has an itch for clicking. There are strong chances they might click right away when they see that an article is too lengthy.

In order to make web content writing more effective, here are simple steps to follow:

Think of a topic title

The topic is determinative of what the entire article is all about. The title is the part of article writing that attracts the readers into reading the entire article. It is like the physical appearance of a person. It is the first thing that everyone sees. If the appearance is appealing, then other people will be interested in knowing the personality of the person. Same thing goes for your article writing. The title must be enticing enough for the readers.

Think of at least three points

When the attention of the readers is taken, then it’s time to show them what the article is all about. Typically, for a 500 word article, it’s safe to have at least three to five main points. Coming up with these main points makes the development of the article more organized and more systematic. Of course, it is necessary to ensure that these ideas are directly related to the topic.

Get a headline

Aside from the title, the first paragraph must make the readers interested about the article. Some article writers like to include a quote. Some provide a general overview of the details that are found in the body of the article.

Enrich each point

After the ideas are determined, the next step is to incorporate relevant and accurate facts. Just like the points, the facts must be related to the topic and the subtopic. It must be backed up by research or a testimonial.

Sum it all up

As an article writer it is important to remember to reiterate all the key points that were discussed in the article. It will provide a better grasp to the audience. Also part of this step in the article writing process is to see that the entire article is free from errors. Hence, there is a need for proofreading.

To your success as an article writer!

Five Things to Know About Web Hosting and Subdomains

When you purchase domain registration service and web hosting packages, you may initially put all of

When you purchase domain registration service and web hosting packages, you may initially put all of your focus on figuring out the main domain name. That said, as time goes on, you are sure to think of other keywords, or different types of pages that would work better under a different domain name. Rather than purchase new server space and another name, you can try using subdomains instead. Aside from being much cheaper, you may find that they will be of immense benefit in other ways.

Setting Up Subdomains

As you may be aware, subdomains are listed in front of the main domain in a URL. For example, if your domain name is abcgadgets.com, you can create a subdomain for each category of gadget. If you create a subdomain for smartphones, the URL for it would be: http://www.smartphones/abcgadgets.com. In a similar way, if you want a subdomain for GPS devices, the URL might look something like: http://www.gps/abcgadgets.com.

Depending on your web hosting provider, setting up subdomains may be as simple as going to your main hosting account, and clicking on the subdomain option. Even though some web host providers will have to configure your subdomain for you, it is still worth the effort. Once the subdomain is created, you can add content to it just as you would to your top-level domain.

Boost Keyword Usage Opportunities

Many people go with domain registration of multiple top-level names in order to provide additional coverage for related keywords. Rather than spend all of that money, you can simply create subdomains to achieve the same goal. As an added bonus, if you have a domain name that includes the keyword you are most interested, the subdomains may provide more support in the search engines. At the very least, when you have a different subdomain for each keyword, it will alert the search engine spiders to the fact that you have a good bit of content related to each different keyword.

Arranging Data and Applications

If you are going to have a store on your site, or cover different subjects, it never hurts to put them in a subdomain. Even though you can see folders when you access the file server, the subdomains will make things look much neater. Without a question, if your site has more than three or four parts to it, things will be much easier to find if you use subdomains instead of relying on the file tree.

Unlimited Opportunities for Affiliate Marketers

Domain registration and web hosting tend to represent a significant expense to affiliate marketers. For example, if you are trying to sell 100 diverse products, you would normally need to pay for domain registration on well over 100 domain names, plus pay for server space for each domain. On the other hand, when you use subdomains, you can provide one for each product. At the same time, you can use something unique and brandable for your top-level domain. This will help you establish yourself in many fields, as well as ensure that you can keep your costs as low as possible.

Community Groups and Resale Options

Even though you may conduct most of your business online, there will always be community events and organizations that may need some help establishing themselves on the internet. In some cases, providing them with a subdomain on your server can help you gain recognition as an individual that is interested in community affairs. This can easily draw local web viewers to your site, as well as boost your ranking in the search engines for all kinds of diverse keywords.

It is very important to realize that someone shopping for books may also be interested in car parts and other items. While they may come to your site looking for books, information on other products may also capture their attention. Under these circumstances, subdomains may be far more valuable and useful than you ever realized.

Regardless of whether you are an affiliate marketer, or trying to build a following in your local community, subdomains can help you organize information as well as ensure that it gets an optimal level of attention from search engine spiders. During the process of looking for web hosting providers, you should seriously consider looking for ones that allow you to create an unlimited number of subdomains. Even if you can’t think of any uses for them right this moment, plenty of ideas are sure to come along.

If there is one thing I do not do, it is shop. Browsing, perusing, or otherwise embracing the retail

If there is one thing I do not do, it is shop. Browsing, perusing, or otherwise embracing the retail experience is just not me. Never has been, and I am quite confident saying it never will be. However, the realities of life dictate that on rare occasions we all need to wade into the pool of American consumerism – we all need the basics. And much to my chagrin, my recent foray was an enlightening and almost enjoyable experience. Service is clearly back in vogue.

Just a small sampling from a few stops over the past weekend at Home Depot, Best Buy, Target and the like. Clearly not a definitive study, but enough of an experience to reinforce that invaluable lesson in business and life: Service Matters. For the first time in years the retail experience was highlighted by such things as real customer service, actual warmth and assistance from the staff on the floor, and a very palatable and demonstrated desire by the associates to quite simply “go above and beyond” to make the shopping experience positive. I was stunned. Grateful, but also stunned.

While I sincerely appreciated the warmth of the staff and their clear focus on me and my needs, I found myself wondering where had this been, and where was it coming from now. Then it struck me – they need the customers. They value our business, or rather they now really need our business. Obviously they always need customers, but now they realize it and have taken steps to improve the overall shopping experience.

The lesson in this is simply the basic question – are you valuing your relationships with your clients, with your customers, with your family, with your friends? Have you told them so, have you shown them? Are you going out-of-the-way to “go above and beyond”, to exceed their expectations, to put their needs ahead of your own? Now for the tough question – did you do it when times were good, when business was easy? While we all know service matters, it is critical to remember that service always matters – in good times and in times of challenge.

Up to version 1.3, we used to have one cmdlet for computer accounts (namely Get-QADComputer) – now we have 6:

Get-QADComputer

New-QADComputer

Set-QADComputer

Enable-QADComputer

Disable-QADComputer

Reset-QADComputer

You can kind of guess what they do by their names, but let’s quickly go through them one by one and give a few quick examples.

Get-QADComputer

Retrieves AD computer account objects based on the criteria you specify. E.g. (anyone still running Vista? )

Get-QADComputer spb* -OSName 'Windows Vista*' | Format-Table Name, ManagedBy

New-QADComputer

Creates new computer account in AD (does not join the actual computer though) and sets the attributes you specify:

New-QADComputer -Name 'LAB-SRV3' -SamAccountName 'LAB-SRV3' -ParentContainer 'CN=Computers,DC=lab,DC=local' -Location 'AMS/HQ/Building A'

Set-QADComputer

Modifies AD computer account properties (can work in bulk when you pipe Get-QADComputer output into this one).

Set-QADComputer 'quest.local/computers/Comp4' -ManagedBy 'QUEST\DSotnikov'

or

Get-QADComputer spb* | Set-QADComputer -Location 'St. Petersburg'

Enable-QADComputer

Disable-QADComputer

Enable or disable one or multiple computer accounts:

Enable-QADComputer 'CN=LAB-SRV1,CN=Computers,DC=dom,DC=local'

or

Get-QADComputer -SearchRoot 'dom.local/labComputers' | Disable-QADComputer

Reset-QADComputer

Reset a computer account in Active Directory. When resetting a computer account, you reset the secure channel between the computer that uses that account to join the domain and a domain controller in the domain.Resetting a computer account breaks that computer’s connection to the domain and requires it to rejoin the domain.

Reset-QADComputer 'CN=LAB-SRV1,CN=Computers,DC=dom,DC=local'

More information can be found in AD cmdlets online reference and PDF guide. Download the new AD cmdlets now and let us know what you think by posting to the AD PowerShell discussion forum!

I have a ridiculous amount of godparents. My mother says she didn’t want any of her friends to be left out so my brother and I have around eight each! This, of course, has many benefits. In my early years it ensured a high yield of gifts on birthdays and at Christmas, and this week I was invited by one of my godfathers to a Livery Dinner held by the The Worshipful Company of Salters. Oh yes!

Out of my league

I wasn’t too sure what to expect. My godfather was a solicitor and having Googled the Livery Companies, I had an idea of the company I would be in plus there had been talk of having to wear white tie and tails…and I am still not really sure what that is. Anyway, I found myself amongst diplomats, MP’s, chairmen of some massive corporations and high ranking chemists, with some of the wearing robes, medals and animal hide! It was patently clear I was way out of my league on so many levels and when I explained I was in the social media, emerging technology ‘field’ there were various glazed expressions and one “…how funny!”. Awesome.

Very minor epiphany

During the dinner I, again, found myself trying to ‘pitch’ the industry to Dr. Gordon, a chemist from Geneva who knew way too much about wine. He was fascinated by the theories and possibilities of social media that I was attempting to explain, but couldn’t see any practical purpose for himself. He used email to stay in touch with his family and had heard of Facebook and Twitter but certainly wouldn’t consider himself a social media ‘user’. Reaching for examples or case studies that I could launch at him, I asked what his favourite pastime was? “Easy, wine.”

“Cool”, I replied, “there are loads of ways to use social media for wine …” And then the minor epiphany happened. He cut me off and said, the only thing he had really done online was buy wine at an auction through a live feed. He went on to say how amazing it was to feel so connected to the actual event and could bid in realtime, see the auctioneer, other bidders etc. “And you said you have never used social media?” I said. “What, that was social media was it?” was the answer!

Look past the tools

My point is that it is so easy to see social media as the tools or platforms that grab the headlines rather than a wider capability to connect you to people and places, which is where the real magic is. Dr Gordon had a ‘real’ human experience using social media for what it is meant to be…and he apparently got a good deal on the wine!

The Zero Friction Marketing ebook is made a bang the second it hit the market. The hype surrounding

The Zero Friction Marketing ebook is made a bang the second it hit the market. The hype surrounding the release of this product was like none other (but what product doesn’t have a hype?) Even if you think it’s just like any other affiliate product, lets see if this CPA marketing training distinguishes itself from of the rest.

The author, who goes by Saj P, is a highly respected affiliate marketer. He’s released 4 products before and has had great success with them. He separates his products from other ones for he only releases strategies that he’s had success with. His last 4 products have been #1 and listed as Blockbusters on Clickbank. When Saj unveils a new product, a few lucky people get on it fast before he closes the doors forever. He’s very devoted to giving others the tools to the success he has had.

We’ve come to expect nothing but high quality products from Saj P thus far. But what is it that differentiates his courses and make it a must-buy? Why is it essential to have this knowledge in comparison to the hundreds of other ebooks sold on Clickbank?

The Zero Friction Marketing Ebook is very different in many ways. Some say these CPA marketing strategies may change the face of IM as we know it, but let’s not get too caught up. The techniques in this ebook may be things that you have seen before, but never actually took the time to get a hang for. Saj presents the material in such a way that you copy paste everything you learn. Ironically, this is what stands in the way between getting ahead online and simply failing, actually applying what you learn.

Taking action is the most critical aspect of any affiliate marketing strategy. That’s how “gurus” make their money while we sit and wonder why we have no results. This book doesn’t show you the everyday methods you get in other products, it gives you methods that have never been used before and you will succeed.

You will be learning methods that are deadly effective. You’ll learn the most efficient ways to promote your products, steal from Google and the gurus, and so much more.

It’s split up into 4 video modules and 5 eBooks with free instant access to one of the most profitable CPA networks on the Internet. Everything is handed to you and I can’t stress enough how easy the methods are to follow. You literally copy paste everything that Saj teaches you and it works right away.

You can pick the way you want to attack the CPA offers. You can implement one or two of the methods or take full advantage and use all of them.

It’s up to you, but why would you wait for anything else? Do you want to keep wasting time and buy another ebook that just tells you to have confidence and stay focused? An ebook that says it will redefine the way you think of affiliate marketing only to find out that you’ve already heard that crap 100 times before you bought it?

Or are you looking for a way to get ahead of the competition and learn something that nobody else is using? If that sounds good to you, then look no further because the Zero Friction Marketing Ebook is exactly what you’ve needed the whole time.

This strategy is one of a kind and only a limited amount of people will be given the opportunity to reap the rewards of this affiliate product. Are you one of those lucky few? You can decide if this is for you by clicking here now.

My “Selling Presentation Design” post from a few days ago compared people’s though

My “Selling Presentation Design” post from a few days ago compared people’s thoughts about presentation design today to the public understanding of the iPod back in 2001: Apple knew how great their product was but its customers didn’t get it yet. Today I just happened to run across a tweet with a link to this video of Steve Jobs introducing the iPod (thanks to @missjessrose and @denislirette).

If you’ve watched even a few minutes of a Steve Jobs keynote in the past few years, one of the first things you’ll notice about this video is just how silent the audience is through most of the presentation. Even though Steve’s saying all the right things, the looks on the faces of the audience at around 5:30 are still pretty blank. They don’t get it yet. And why should they? Would you have gotten it right away? I didn’t back then, and wouldn’t for several more years.

But in watching this today I noticed something else. Steve never looks uncertain, even for a second. He knew even then how great a product he possessed and how revolutionary it would be. He didn’t go for the hard sell, he just told them why it was great and was willing to wait for everyone to catch up. And when the public finally realized how great it was and had to have one, Steve was still there, ready to sell them one.

It seems to me that a presentation design is at a similar, early stage now. A small group has started to catch on but it’s not reached the mainstream yet. Hopefully, though, if enough people start sharing what they know, in a few years it’ll be recognized by most speakers that they can’t get away with awful slides anymore.

LocalConnectionAppender can be easy configured for using with debug applications which developed for

LocalConnectionAppender can be easy configured for using with debug applications which developed for MiniDebugTarget of Flex Logging Framework.

For this You just set parameters
connectionName
to _mdbtrace and
methodName
to trace in configuration of this appender.

This is example log5f.properties config:

<configuration xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="log5f.properties.xsd" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:log5j="http://log5f.org">
  <root level="ALL" appenders="minidebug"/>
  <appender name="minidebug" class="org.log5f.appenders.LocalConnectionAppender">
    <param name="layout" value="org.log5f.layouts.PatternLayout" type="Class">
      <param name="conversionPattern" value="%d{ABSOLUTE} [%p] %C{0}.%M %m" type="String"/>
    </param>
    <param name="connectionName" value="_mdbtrace" type="String"/>
    <param name="methodName" value="trace" type="String"/>
  </appender>
</configuration>

Now all log messages from application sends to MiniDebug’s based applications, for example this outputs in Flex Console:

Today, we investigated homomorphisms further. Recall that a homomorphism between two groups and is a function such that
for all .

This basically says that the function “understands the operations of the group” and maps elements in a way that is compatible with the operations of the respective groups. We saw many examples of homomorphisms, some of which we already knew. For instance:

by  and

by

are all homomorphisms between their respective groups. There are many more examples as well, and we will continue to investigate different homomorphisms.

Finally, we also noted that if are both groups, then there is always a homomorphism between them given by with where is the identity element in .

We noted that homomorphisms are not quite as strong as isomorphisms, but we will show how much information is actually carried through a homomorphism (as opposed to an isomorphism where all the information is carried through).

It’s my impression that here in Hamilton we have a disproportionately high percentage of the population living in poverty. And yet there seems to be an entire industry devoted to alleviating or eliminating it.

It has been my experience that two of the most valuable things that we can give to someone, at any age and in any situation, but particularly to people who are struggling with poverty, is access to examples and opportunities.

Most of us are not lifestyle innovators. We go with the flow and are influenced by peer groups and the examples that surround us. And there’s no good reason we should each need to reinvent the wheel. And yet, if the wheels keep turning and we’re still struggling with the same problems, problems we may not even be able to identify, then maybe we need a new wheel.

The key word is ACCESS. It seems to me that many of the classic efforts to fight poverty actually create barriers to access for many people. Consider low-income housing projects where they lump everyone in together providing no alternative examples to anyone, or schools within a public system that are not created, maintained or valued equally and therefore actively create barriers to opportunities for many students.

Once upon a time I delivered the mail for Canada Post and for a while I delivered to a particular stretch that was full of overly large buildings each of which seemed to be stocked full of people with identical problems as if some agency said, “Lets stick all of these people here and all of those people there, that will make OUR jobs easier.” But it didn’t make the lives of the tenants any easier, as evidenced by the building in which everyone in it was on some form of disability pension. Each of the customers that I dealt with was either blind, or in a wheel chair or was physically challenged in some way that made it clear that there wasn’t a lot of opportunity for them to help each other.

“Can you change my light bulb for me?”

“Lady, I can’t even see your light bulb!”

Another route that I delivered to had a good mix; it had a fancy condo building, a city homes building, a co-op townhouse area, a school, a community centre, a commercial strip and a park at the centre of it all. This model provides access to diverse examples for everyone and untold opportunities; for work, engagement or relationships that will be mutually beneficial.

Now the city of Hamilton is faced with some development opportunities, and I keep hearing about plans that are homogeneous. Plans that lump people into little ghettos; poor ghettos, old ghettos, business ghettos, arts ghettos. It doesn’t matter what or who you ghettoize, it’s still a ghetto. And it will become one unless enlightened people take advantage of successful examples and have access to opportunities to create value for others.

Lets mix it up folks. The gene pool benefits from variety and so does our community. Now is our opportunity to look for good examples and ask; “What do we really want to create?”

To set the tone, I’ll describe what I’m talking about through past examples. Rock Doves

To set the tone, I’ll describe what I’m talking about through past examples.

Rock Doves (Columbo spp.) are large birds commonly known as pigeons. Evolved for cliff dwelling, they have taken to our built environment and are found in every city I have visited.

Problem : where they congregate is quickly spattered with corrosive droppings. Past remedies have included spike strips (they get around these), sloped roofs (they perch on anything), poisoning (kills every bird that eats the same things), fake owls (they can distinguish between a real and a fake) etc.

Solution: Ghent tried giving the pigeons what they wanted: great nesting sites. after establishing the best orrery sites in the city, researchers began replacing the pigeon egss with wood fakes. This cut the pigeon population in the city down by two thirds.

Give ‘em what they want, but manipulate the terms to meet you ends. If you hit ‘em with what they don’t want, they find a way to get around you to get what they want anyway. Make them come to you.

We like to avoid using a lot of jargon and mumbo-jumbo, and a lot of concepts in the new media world

We like to avoid using a lot of jargon and mumbo-jumbo, and a lot of concepts in the new media world (not least of which being the concept of ‘new media’ itself) are sort of fuzzy. We try to only use those terms that have a specific enough definition to mean something to most readers. “Destination content” is a critical term which sounds like marketingspeak. It isn’t. Here’s a more detailed explanation of what we mean…

People don’t go to YouTube to search for used car commercials. People do go to YouTube to find a web video series with compelling content. They also subscribe to video podcasts with regular serialized updates for content they like. Companies and organizations are now in a position to produce video content just as good as the programming on television and get it to viewers. Because no one is going to seek out a commercial and check back for regular updates, your organization needs to produce content which is compelling and interesting in its own right.

If you are a luxury car maker, you can produce a series of webisodes/video podcasts about a yacht race — that supports your brand and image. If you are a nonprofit scientific research organization, pair up with an outerwear company to produce webisodes about an expedition in an extreme environment and wear some of their jackets.

This sort of sponsorship has always subsidized media content. Now there are infinitely more opportunities to be creative, reach a niche audience and genuinely work with the right kind of sponsor to create a true ‘everyone wins’ situation.

Speaking of outdoor companies, Patagonia is a great example of a company with an image and message that transcends the usual marketing styles. They do an excellent job with new media, especially with their site The Tin Shed.

For those of us who are raising children I think this is something we need to ask our selves. I find that I expect my boys to do as I say not as I do. Not always but quite often this was true when they were younger. Now they are at an age were the proof of my parenting is in the pudding as we used to say. It is much easier to tell someone how to leve than to live it.Think about it do your words mirror your actions, and are those actions setting the example you would want your kids to live to? Scripture talks of seeing the stick in someone elses eye while you may have a tree in your own!
