For the past few weeks, I have been doing my sister’s weekend make up. I like it since I get to do make-up on other people. For the most part though, I have been putting on neutral eye looks. Plus, my sister is quite darker than me so our foundation shades don’t exactly match. It’ll be more fun for sure once I get my hands on more foundation shades.

Anyway, going back, I have been doing rather neutral shades on her but in the past few days, I have been trying out a little more color. Over the next few weeks, I will show you the eye looks I have been creating for her.

Meanwhile, I leave you with Pixiwoo, my current favourite You-Tuber, and one of the super-interesting looks they have created. Note that they are make-up artists by profession, and it seems primarily for high fashion. The look is not wearable on a day-to-day, but it’s crazy creative.

Tip- use olive oil to take off your eye make-up.

How?  -        Dampen a cotton ball / pad with a little water, tip a small amount of olive oil on to the cotton ball, close your eye and gently wipe off make-up. If you have alot of eye make up on you may need to do this twice. This is a very safe and gentle way of removing your eye make-up naturally.

This a mixed post of a How-To and a little progress on my car.

Here’s a tutorial on how to control your headlight position a.k.a. sleepy-eye.

Its such an old mod but you never know who may want it.

I know that on cars like the RPS13 it’s much easier as you simply have to connect switches in between the relay, but after some research I discovered that this was the viable way of doing it on a Celica and with little modification it can be applied to any car. At the bottom of the post I have put a video of Drift Tengoku on how they recommend doing it on a RPS13 and might work on other cars as well.

This system works like the Drift Tengoku way, you have a switch to activate it and another switch to lift the lights up to your desired level, this does not control the headlights individually or make them go down. If you lift them too much you suck and have to turn it off and start again.

Disclaimer: Mess up and it’s your fault basically, follow the guide and it will work a T18 89-93 Celica.
This system will allow you to use both the stock setup and the sleepy-eye setup.
So, what you need:
Various tools to dismantle parts and solder the connections.
Minimum of 10A 12V 2 position on-off switch.
Minimum of 10A 12V DPDT relay.
Self-returning double pole rocker or button switch.
Two position switch.
A shit load of wire, roughly 20m. I would go for some good wire like 15A or above.
Then you can get things like shrink-wrap to make the connections look neat.
Even though the RTR (headlight motor) fuse is a 30A, I have had no problems with using a 10A relay, if you find one that can take higher amperage get that one for more reliability.

Here is a wiring diagram of the setup (it’s a little messy but you can see where each wire goes to from the relay):

I recommend you wired it up as you install it in the car, if you do it before you’re going to find it hard.
Wire the 8 wires to the relay first, then find a suitable place to mount it. I thought that the best place was on the driver’s side near the firewall. Five wires need to pass through the firewall and I thought the best place to drill a hole was on the driver’s side about 6cm above the clutch cable.

Before you pass all the cables through, I strongly suggest you label to cables if they’re the same colour. Otherwise it will be near impossible to tell which is which.

Once routed all the cables you can solder the switches and wires. To activate the system the two position switch is turn on, you can get power from any live source in the dash, and I used the cigarette lighter.

The system taps into the stock headlight motor wiring and the best place to do this is near the headlight. Remove the front bumper and disconnect the headlight motor plug.
In the wiring harness going to the headlight motor plug there will be a Green and White cable, snip this leaving some wire either side to work on and solder in your cables.

Now, it should be done. To test, turn on the ignition, turn on the 2 position switch. Then turn on your headlights and they should not come up. A little toggle of the rocker switch and the should come up.

I’ve done a few little things to the car as well. I mounted a fire extinguisher in just in case, you never know.

And I changed the radiator mount bolts to some nice hex ones, I know awesome.

Toshiba announced earlier today that they will be unveiling a brand new type of LCD HDTV that is so far beyond its competitors, that it is also beyond human eye comprehension.

“Where our meeger competition has only an LCD screen of 1080 Dpi,” said David Crowell, spokesman for Toshiba, “Our newest model has a 5000 Dpi on it’s LCD screen of HDTV-ness.”

So what does it mean for the consumer? “With this newest technology,” began Crowell, “it will be impossible to tell, but scientists have assured us that viewing the screen will show images clearer than your own eye can see.”

Reporters asked Mr. Crowell what the fuck he was talking about. “It’s detailed,” he explained, “so detailed in fact, that the high-definition cameras have detected a new color unlike anything previously seen or imagined in the human spectrum of color.”

Customers are reluctant to believe. “How can it do that,” said Trevor Manning, a divorced father of 2 unfortunate looking children, “I mean, if a human eye can’t see it, then…Alright, whatever. As long as I can say LCD HDTV really fast, then it’s ok. ” Upon hearing that the new Toshiba has even more acronyms involved than any other television on the market, he said he will buy one immediately.

Crowell warns that this television purchase is not to be taken lightly. “The screen is so crisp and clear, that synethesia may occur; that is, being able to literally see smells, taste sounds, or hear tastes. HD is now past the point of feeling like you are in the television studio, or sideline at the game, and has now catapulted the viewer onto an ethereal plane, a dimension never even conceived previously by human thought or imagination.”

Toshiba’s Tagline for the new 5K Dpi LCD HDTV will be, “My God, it’s full of stars!” Commercials are set to air on Super Bowl Sunday.

Hey! This is part 2! Darryl with Desteni Productions, and this another clip in regards to Cari AKA BlissWeaver, who had a problem with the 2012 ascension prophecy that we made a couple days ago.

Right. Okay, Cari, again, this is not an attack on you. This is not something that insult or humiliate of offend you in any way. I hope not, anyway. This is just a point; some responses to what you’ve said, and they’re directed at the response [made by BlissWeaver to the Desteni 2012 clip], okay? All right.

One thing that you said, is something that I have heard a million times from these people who profess “love” and “life” and “positive” and “beautiful” metaphysical feelings and emotions – is that suffering is “useful” for “learning.” Or, suffering is what people have “chosen” to endure. Or, suffering is vital to “provide lessons.” I do not know why the people who profess “Love,” “Light,” “Higher Consciousness” would have such a callous disregard to other people’s suffering.

You know, the same people who have the Candy Land Metaphysics of “Everybody is One,” “We’re All One,” “We’re all thoughts of God,” “We’re all the same,” “We’re all One Entity, one gestalt of being, one great chain of being,” “We’re all One, we’re all beautiful, bright, radiant things.” But, these same people disregard the suffering as something beneath them. Something that can’t reach them. Something that they have “spiritually evolved” out of. It’s like, “Oh, I’ve made it! God loves me! Oh, you guys will have to stop suffering and come up here with me!” I mean that’s just silly. It’s selfish. It’s silly. And it’s callous. And it’s like these people have both polarities – they the polarity going of callous disregard and “Oh, Love and Light.” And they’re the same thing. I find it disgusting, actually, that whole point of suffering. As the comment you mad, Cari – the comment’s disgusting – that you said: “To think that one can relieve another’s suffering is Ego-Trip.”

So if I can extrapolate that point: Martin Luther King was on an ego-trip. Abraham Lincoln was on an Ego-Trip. Mahatma Gandhi was on an Ego-Trip. Nelson Mandela was on an Ego-Trip. Jesus was on an Ego-Trip. Mother Theresa was on an Ego-Trip. Mother Theresa. Maybe she was. If we’re gonna be on Ego-Trips, we might as well try to alleviate the suffering of others.

As long as we’re going to spit in the faces of people, of beings that tried to alleviate the suffering of others, we might as well call it an Ego-Trip. If we can just spit in their faces or rub what they’ve done or accomplished or what they tried to do in the dirt, as long as we can do that, we should just call it an Ego-Trip. Just to complete the whole point, there, just to put a cap on it.

I think what an Ego-Trip is actually, what I think an Ego-Trip is actually, is professing “Light” and “Love” and “Beauty” and disregarding the “Ugly.” Disregarding the Grotesque, disregarding the Rejected, Disregarding the Dark, Evil Places that can’t find acceptance anywhere – that’s an Ego-Trip, to think that you above or Better than anybody else, Better than people who suffer.

I know you don’t think that. I know you don’t think you’re better than people who suffer. And I know you don’t think that you’re better than people who are concerned about other people’s suffering. But to say, “To think that one can relieve another’s suffering is an Ego-Trip,” I would have to ask you, do you really believe that? I don’t have to wonder that, because you don’t believe it – it’s just a statement, like al the other statements you’ve made. But this statement, you denigrate and sully the accomplishment of people who did actually – got off their butts and did something about it.

Now, take that for what it’s worth. What we are doing as Desteni, are producing people… raising awareness – and these people that we’re producing will stand as the point of common sense. We want our Principles acknowledged; the Principles of Life and the Principles of what is best for all: Equality and Oneness. All these things you’ve read about and seen on the videos. We’re not just going to make videos about – we’re gonna do something about it. And Expect that you will Spit in our faces while we are trying to correct what needs corrected. We don’t care. You know, we’re not gonna take it personally when you spit in our face. We expect a lot of people who like things the way that they are, to have the same reaction. We’re not going to be stopped. And in the end, you’ll thank us. So I think that’s all I have to say.

The daily, steamed appraisal waiting for
