<p>It seems like, everywhere we turn, that hip and arty sydneysiders are playing&#8230; board games?</p>
<p>From the <a href="http://furtivity.wordpress.com/2008/05/03/bodega-digital-hysteria-remedy-wrap-up/">venue of the last bodega party</a> (which boasted some sort of chess club on the door), to <a href="http://www.fagette.net/">the fagette duplicator </a>announcing <a href="http://www.officialsydney.com/">a night of backgammon at officialsydney </a>on tuesday 3rd june.</p>
<p>Actually this last one sounds pretty fun. You get to play on screenprinted backgammon boards with pieces made from spray painted beer caps. There&#8217;s the promise of an &#8220;outlandish performance&#8221;, and booze or turkish tea.</p>
<p>You also get a instructions for play &#8211; good for people like us who wouldn&#8217;t know where to start. Bring on these social clubs we say.</p>
