Last night was a blast with my bro Hitch
I managed to strike conversations with a few girls, which was kind of fun because I got some good practise, though unfortunately no hot ones… Apart from one girl perhaps, but funny thing was…she thought I was gay!
-I asked her later why she thought so, and it turns out that my bodylanguage ‘gave me away’, the way I move and articulate with my hands. I have never thought about this, but come to think of it now, I am pretty relaxed and natural in my movements, maybe that strikes as feminine, lol.

Then we had this other guy, I spoke to him only briefly and then by some reason we started talking about martial arts; he asked me what I do and I said Ive done Kung Fu for 6 years, and then he goes all cocky, grunts and says “Yeah well Ive done MMA for 2 years and I will kick your ass“… Urgh I hate all these cocky MMA, UFC motherfuckers, they are all the same; airheaded, buffed up, machisimo loudmouths who throw around their weight ‘better’ than they throw a punch…if even that, they are all so pathetic.

I am a fag. F-A-G-G-O-T. I like girls at least as much as I like guys. There are a whole lot more girls than guys that I would hate to see go but love to watch them leave. Unless you say a word with hate, it’s not a slur. You give it power over you when you refuse to say it. If someone yelled it at me in disgust, to hurt me, then yes, it would hurt. But it would hold the same meaning for me if they yelled “Lesbo!”, “Queer”, or “Cunt-Lover!” Yes, I am all of them, and if I was out of the closet (and living in San Francisco) I’d proudly introduce myself “Hi, I’m “Tuahla.” I’m a fag.” In people actually did such things. A friend of mine commented on this loser guys video on Youtube; where this guys fat loser friends are doing MMA and backyard fighting and shit, litterally my friend wrote “ you guys blow, my sister could take you all down“.

Wild bunch that they are, the Upper School faculty makes plans for dinner at  The Flying Saucer. Arriving before the M.A.—he actually got the degree online—I strategically position myself between two co-workers so as to avoid sitting by my erudite co-worker. But somewhere in between lighting his cigar and ordering his third twenty-four ounce porter it hits me—this is all for show.

For the first time, I feel as though I understand the Master and his unchecked, “biblically-based” brand of chauvinism. After overhearing another faculty member casually drop the word “faggot” in a conversation (!), Billups interrupts to share with the table how anxious he is for his freshmen class to begin reading a book that uses the term. My ears perking up, he continues, “I know someone’s going to ask how the author is using the word ‘faggot’”(as if he wasn’t planning on calling his class’s attention to the term even if they didn’t). “I’m going to tell them,” adds Billups, “that the term originally meant ‘a bundle of sticks’ and that faggots still aren’t good for anything but burning.”

Doug Lambert was fired for calling Democratic leader Ray Buckley "a faggot."

If Doug Lambert ever had delusions of grandeur and invincibility, the Mouth That Roared is quickly finding  out that he is as expendable as a dead rat on a sinking ship.

Over the weekend, the GOP activist called New Hampshire Democratic Chairman Ray Buckley “a faggot.” But that was only a small part of Lambert’s outburst. Here’s how it was reported in the Laconia Citizen:

After Lambert called Buckley a faggot, co-host Skip Murphy suggested they turn off the live Web feed but, instead, Lambert looked into the camera, made some dancelike movements that were intended to mimic the way gay men walk, and said, “Yeah, you faggot. That’s right, I said it and I meant it. You are a reprobate. How the people, the Democrats — I think of some of the gray-haired ladies from the old party — would stand behind you is beyond me. You are a disgrace to yourself, to humanity, to mankind and to your party. Other than that, happy birthday, Ray, and many more — not,” he said before the feed suddenly went dead.

Since then Lambert has been fired as co-chair of Frank Guinta’s congressional campaign, he has been evicted by WEMJ AM, the radio station that aired his weekly radio show, a local newspaper, the Laconia Daily Sun, has promised to stop publishing Lambert’s rants, and the high and mighty of New Hampshire’s Republican party have eviscerated him in the press and denounced his homophobic comments.

Lambert will continue to serve on the Gilford, NH, budget committee, only because as an elected official he cannot be removed by the town for being an ass. The “enabler” in Lambert’s world is his media partner, Skip Murphy. Murphy is also on the Gilford budget committee. The two of them are like a wrestling tag-team, basically bullying the rest of the town into doing what they want.

The best Murphy could say about his partner’s homophobic outburst is that it was “a dumb thing.” I can only hope that Gilford’s voters will have something more to say to both of these cretins in the next election –

Lambert, a co-chair for Republican Frank Guinta’s New Hampshire congressional campaign, was fired this weekend for calling the chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party “a faggot” during Lambert’s weekly radio show, “Meet The New Press.”

According to an article posted today on the Laconia Citizen web site, Lambert called Ray Buckley, the openly gay chair of the state Democratic Party, a “faggot” and then proceeded to further insult Buckley:

Lambert is known in the Laconia area for his intrepid efforts to gain personal publicity while shaming conservative Republicans into thinking he is championing their causes. A foe of any federal, state, or local tax that does not personally benefit him, Lambert has nevertheless squandered thousands of citizen tax dollars by filing frivolous law suits against government entities that rub him the wrong way.

Lambert is also famously known for opposing Gilford’s effort to build a much-needed library. In a close vote, the project failed to gain voter approval. When donors stepped up to fund construction themselves, Lambert then took exception to the “hidden costs” of this free gift to the town. I can only assume that if Lambert actually read books he might have supported this venture. But as I said, if a project does not personally benefit him, he has no interest. His sense of community begins and ends at his front door.

While it is unfortunate that Ray Buckley had to suffer a public insult from the homophobic Lambert, the silver lining in all this might be Lambert’s permanent exile from New Hampshire’s exclusive GOP club house. Following his slur, Republican notables fought over each other to be the first to condemn the outcast.

GOP Congressional candidate Frank Guinta: “This type of dialogue has no place in politics or in our country.”

GOP spokesman Ryan Williams: “This is inappropriate and offensive. We strongly condemn the use of such vulgar language and personal attacks.”

GOP State Rep. Francine Wendelboe: “I think he’s finally slit his own throat.”

GOP U.S. Senate Candidate Ovide Lamontagne: “There is no place in politics or anywhere else for the type of language or sentiments expressed by Doug Lambert today … and I reject them categorically and unequivocally,”

GOP State Senator Jeb Bradley: Lambert’s remarks were “harmful and unfortunate, completely inappropriate and hurtful.” He called on Lambert to apologize.

For those of us who had forgotten, the Citizen article reminds us that racism and homophobia are like twin-headed monsters among GOP activists like Lambert:

This is not the first time Lambert has made disparaging comments regarding sexual orientation or race on his blog. Following black comedienne Wanda Sykes’ comments at the annual White House Press Corps Dinner in May about former Vice-President Dick Cheney, Lambert wrote, “May she choke on a chicken bone or a watermelon rind. What ever gets the job done.”

The biggest shock of all: Lambert declined the opportunity to talk to the local newspaper about this incident. I guess if you want to “Meet the New Press,” you’ll have to do it on Lambert’s show where he can control the conversation.

A 21-year old gay man in Britain felt like prince for a day this weekend. In a bar he saw Prince Harry and offered him a free drink for a kiss. Harry then burst out laughing, threw his arms around the gay guy and gave him a kiss. Seems like some of Diana’s pro-gay attitude has rubbed off on her boys. My boyfriend would have loved to be in that guy’s place.

John Mayer showed how evolved he is and to me he is an example for straight men in the world. In an interview he said “if you are a man in life and have never went to a gay bar, you haven’t danced. You can actually go to a gay bar and just have a good time without the whole alpha-male, ego attitude in a straight bar”. Hear, hear Mayer I have taken cousins, my brother, brother-in-law to gay bars and they really enjoyed it as well. In Holland for a straight man to go to a hip gay place is really not an issue anymore. And straight women obviously love it in a gay bar as well, just being able to be sexy and themselves without drunk straight men slobbering all over them..

The radio host of a well-known New Hampshire right-wing radio show called the Gay New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair  Ray Buckley a faggot and basically wished him dead. Lambert, who basically looks like your typical bigot, asked if he was going to Holland and hoped he would not celebrate anymore birthdays and called him a disgrace to humanity. Well, maybe Buckley should go to Holland where saturday in a TV show the following question was asked in a nation-wide poll. Is homosexuality just as normal as heterosexuality??. 81 % of the dutch people think it is. Eat your heart out Lambert, maybe you try to diss Holland, but in fact you are giving us a compliment.

Jared is one of the funniest, wildest, talented and most genuine dudes I’ve ever met. One of the people I sincerely miss on a regular basis that always keeps in touch and gives a shit about where his friends are at, a true hardcore kid growing up into a cool ass gentleman.

Yo your Jared, What else do we need to know about you?
im jared. im 24 and im from richmond virginia. just trying to be me.

You are out in Australia right now with Trapped Under Ice. What’s the vibe in the band? Who is stoked to be here?
everyone is super pumped on being here. australia is a place that you work super hard to get to. you have to go all in pretty much to make it happen sometimes. weve wanted to come for a while so its special. the first night we were here brad and i went on a drive and almost hit a kangaroo and then saw some koalas chilling. no one believes us though. where i live its probably snowing right now so im just focused on trying to burn my skin up before i get back on that plane.

For you personally its your second time out here. What are you looking forward to the most?
my number one is seeing all my friends i dont ever get to see. playing is a close second. aus is far man and you dont always get a chane to hit it so everyone at these shows goes hard. playing anywhere in australia has always been a pleasure. other than that im looking forward to grilling in byron bay and hitting the beach everyone second i can.

Since we last met in Japan you’ve played bass in Down To Nothing, Trash Talk and now Trapped Under Ice. What’s the history, how did you end up with TUI?
down to nothing is my band. ive been doing that since i was 19. i grew up in a lot of ways in that band with some of my best friends. i learned a lot. we went as hard as we could for a couple years and did exactly what we wanted to do. just hung out with people and made each other laugh. believe me, no one was pleased but us. we still want to be a band but just not living in a van all year. we still play when we can and were going to record some stuff sometime soon. the trash talk thing was just filling in. one of my best friends was their drummer for a while and asked me if i wanted to go to europe with them for a couple weeks. i couldnt say no. trapped under ice is my band right now though. i loved it since i first heard the demo and dtn brought them down for their first richmond shows. we just became friends. it made sense. ive been in the band for a little over a year now.

Since Down To Nothing slowed down for you guys and vocalist David started playing bass for Terror has he ripped any of your moves?
he has. i get reports from around the globe of him ripping. i gave him full permission to take what he wants. hes got the best stage presence ever if you ask me. i should be jocking his moves. i do actually.

Secrets Of The World is so sick! How involved were you in the writing process?
jusice and sam do most of the main riffing but all the rehearsing for the record was pretty hands on. we all changed some stuff going into those practices and a lot of stuff got taken apart. we all were taking things apart and putting them back together. my favorite songs on that record were the ones we wrote in the last ten minutes of a seven hour practice before we went up to record.

What gear are you running with right now? What did you play in the studio?
i recorded with the stuff i play live. ampeg svt classic head through an svt 8×10. american made fender precision bass and tech 21 sans amp pedal.

What secrets have you discovered about the world in your interactions with it?
take advice with a grain of salt. you cant compare your own life or situations to anyone elses but your own. the only way to truly learn anything, that you can trust anyway, is on your own. that and always trust your gut. even when its telling you shit that you dont want to hear. its always right. the world sucks so bad.

Touring is your life, and through it you’ve travelled extensively. Obviously one of the best things about being in a band. What are your favourite destinations?
seoul, south korea. byron bay, australia. austin. atlanta. syracuse. denmark. sheffield. this list is endless man. there are so many places that i see that make me feel so crazy i dont ever want to stop looking at them. i just wish all my friends everywhere could be with me all the time. touring is awesome. i wouldnt really say its my life though. i dont really like “band” dudes and i cant really take a band seriously that tours just to tour. neither of those are things i want to be. tui is great though because we all have already agreed we only want to do stuff we think is worth our time and we dont really want to get into the habbit of doing dumb shit just to please someone or just to do it. but dont get me wrong. i love touring. its definitely opened my eyes wider than most of the people i know. some of the craziest stuff that will ever happen to me has happened in other places on tour. ive seen some wild stuff and im really lucky. but. ive seen oklahoma enough times and the older i get there are some other things i would like to do too. touring has been great though.

When does it suck? Is there anywhere you don’t want to be ever again?
changing tires in a snow storm. having all your shit stolen. three thousand dollars in gear goes missing. getting charged two thousand dollars for flying two duffle bags full of merch. not sleeping ever. you learn something new when you dont have a dollar to your name and youre thousands of miles away from home.

Our lifestyles are totally consuming, it feels time disappears so fast when your living your life by dates on a calendar. A year can simply be two local tours and a trip to Europe or Asia. I personally find it hard to fit other goals I have into my lifestyle, sometimes feeling like I’m wasting time. Is this something you experience?
everyday man. time just goes right out the window. ill come home and i will have missed entire seasons. its depressing sometimes. all my friends at home have awesome jobs. friends are real estate agents and starting businesses, doing grad school, getting married, and starting families. im happy for them. but when everyone is doing well like that it can start to make you question what you are doing when you come home broke and cant really live the same lifestyle they do when you are home. its hard but its a total trade off though. ive got friends like that emailing me and texting me telling me they wish they could be with me and just hanging out. i wish they were to. you cant really do stuff like that when you have something big going on like that at home. i love them for it. im proud of all my friends doing things that make them happy. i guess its just a matter of what you want and recognizing the small things that make it worth it.

What are your desires outside of the band? Careers? Travel? Lifestyle?
i think my number one is music. i love that more than anything. i love movies almost as much as music. i love the ocean and just being outside. im lovesick over monkeys. thats a real life obsession. i dont really know as far as careers go. i love pictures. i like helping people. i love food. animals. in the last year i got into lifting weights. id like to end up doing something that makes me happy like anybody else. traveling goes without saying. there are always going to be places i have never been that i need to go. i like tropical islands. latin america. im always going to be pretty laid back. i only want what makes me happy.

One of photos I’ve got up is of you with a broke ass bloody nose. What happened?
i was at a show at home in richmond and i was moshing for a friends band. ive never seen a break that bad before. im lucky it went back. i guess i could have gone to the hospital but fuck it. i hate looking at in the mirror from certain angles because its still so crooked. moshing is so dumb i guess thats what i get.

Why were you nearly deported from Australia?
david, you, and i, got pretty carried away one night in sydney (i think). acting real dumb. real dumb.  jay rollins, billabong gardens, graham and resist. here is your formal apology. sorry for being a headache.

Who’s car did you smash in Europe?
we were doing some sight seeing in germany. i dont remember the city but it was a spot that hitler had deemed the center of the world or something. it was cool. to make a long story short and leave out some incriminating details there were some serious nazi dudes hanging in the parking lot. they left their car for a minute and people went to work on that thing. everyone had a job. tire stabber. window breaker. light kicker. we had a basball bat man. rock throwers. like twenty seconds and that shit was DONE. all in the middle of the day. took that license plate too.

How hard do you find it adjusting to ‘real life’ when your not on tour?
not really at all. its hard sometimes to do small things sometimes. like running errands and stuff. you can always put that garbage off one day and i know thats something i learned from being on tour.

I know your single and a total romantic… why is it so hard to find love whilst touring in a band?

What do you expect the future holds for you both personally and musically?
i have no idea man. i like doing what im doing now for the most part but i know its not something that i want to be doing for the rest of my life. i think about it everyday. just like everyone else probably does. the next chance i get i want to go to school either part or full time for a while and see how i like it. i want a dog. i need some normal shit going on for once. catch my breath. i love music though. its a gift and everyday i get to do something with it i consider myself lucky. its not something i really set goals for. im just taking everything in my life as it comes.

GLAAD (gays and lesbians against defamation)showed it’s ridiculousness once again by demanding an apology from the creators of South Park for using fag hundreds of times in last weeks episode. The characters in South Park decided to change the meaning of the word fag and use it for instance on bikers instead of gays. South Park is making fun of everything and everyone and so not homophobic it’s just stupid from GLAAD to even bring it up.

Portugal will become another country in Europe that might have gay marriage really soon. One of the first plans of new Prime Minister Jose Socrates’ administration will be to approve marriage equality. Most catholic people and countries in southern europe are definitely a lot more open-minded then most christians in the U.S., that’s for sure.

Kansas Chiefs’ Larry Johnson was fired in the aftermath of him using the slur “faggot” to a couple reporters a while ago, something I blogged about previously. He also denied knowing “faggot” was a bad word, not close to as bad as “nigger”. Fans of the club had demanded his firing by petitions. While Johnson being fired was also due to criticizing team management and their head coach, calling faggot was the last straw. He deserved it!!

I live in California, one of the most progressive states in the entire country, or at least I thought it was until its constituents passed Proposition 8 a year ago, which banned gay marriage.  This was a real wake up call that homophobia still runs rampant in this country, and I find it a little fucking ridiculous.  On Tuesday, Maine became the 31st state to shoot down the rights of gays to get married.  I don’t understand what the fuck peoples’ issue is here.  Yeah, yeah, yeah, the Bible apparently says that marriage is intended to be between a man and a woman.  However, the Bible also says that women shalt not teach, nor hold authority positions over men (Timothy 2:11-15).  Maybe the Bible isn’t right about everything, did you ever think of that?  These homophobes are so deluded by their blind devotion to the word of God, that they can’t fathom that it might all be a lie.  Sorry to potentially burst your bubble.

Homophobes make me sick.  Look, no one is asking you guys to strap on some ass-less chaps and strut through West Hollywood singing Madonna songs, we’re simply asking that you be tolerant of people’s inalienable rights.  This anti-gay mentality is no different than racism or antisemitism, and as we all know, those still run rampant in our society as well.  Since these homophobes are so pathetically hellbent on trying to wipe the homosexual population from the planet, lets imagine a world where these ignoramuses didn’t exist.

In a world where homophobes weren’t around to mouth off like the dipshits that they are:

• Gays would be allowed to get married and in turn be as miserable as most straight, married couples.
• The derogatory term, “fag,” would go back to being slang for a cigarette in England.
• The population of the United States would significantly drop which would benefit everyone.  No homophobes = No traffic!
• The most outspoken homophobes, ultra right wing conservatives, wouldn’t have the chance to be the biggest hypocrites in our entire society.

• Harvey Milk, along with many other gay activists, would still be alive.
• George W. Bush would never have been alive to become our President and ruin this country.
• The number of hate crimes would dramatically decrease across the country.
• People wouldn’t hate other sexual orientations because they are insecure of their own.
• People would realize that the Bible is not necessarily the end all, be all of human existence.
• The Catholic Church would’ve imploded, and those poor altar boys would’ve been spared the molestation by their hypocritical, homophobic priests.

These homophobic fucks need to grow up and live in the now.  The gays aren’t going anywhere, so either you can accept them and let them live the life they want to live or you can go on being narrow-minded shit for brains.  Would it kill us to take a cue from Europe and be a little more progressive?  They’re gay!  Who cares!  You don’t have to engage in sodomy with them for god’s sake!  If you people had one functioning brain cell, you’d realize that giving gays the right to marry wouldn’t affect you in the slightest way.  Morons!  I’d like to believe that the homophobes would eventually give up their crusade against gay rights, but they’re much too stubborn for that.  I hate to say it, but I truly believe that the anti-gay sentiment running a muck in this country is here to stay for quite a while.

I believe the up and coming generation needs to know, that men of God hold these individuals in derision.  They need to know what a terrible abomination this is in the eyes of God.  I detest being around Sodomites; they make me uncomfortable.  I don’t like Chihuahuas.  I just don’t like anything sissy!

There are many slang terms used to indicate a sodomite: fag, queer, fairy, etc.  Webster’s 1828 Dictionary does not even contain the word ‘Homosexual’.  But it does define Sodomite as: (1) An inhabitant of Sodom or (2) One guilty of sodomy.  Since the term “sodomite” is used, even after Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, definition one need not be considered.

Furthermore, sodomy is defined as ‘a crime against nature!’   Sodomy not only makes God sick, but Scripture implies that the land vomits at its very presence! “And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.” (Lev 18:25) Is it any wonder that California often convulses as would a man with upset stomach?  Why does the land vomit?  Because sodomy is a crime against nature!

When one attempts to defy the law of gravity by jumping off a cliff, they suffer the consequences.  When two men get together and try to do what only man and wife were designed to do, they too will suffer the consequences.

Whether or not AIDS is God’s judgment on the sin of homosexuality I do not know.  However, I am sure God is aware of the CDC’s recent statistics.  On table 22 of their website the following information is available.  Of white men with AIDS in the United States, it is estimated that 76% were men who have sex with men.  Furthermore, add that to the 10% of men who have sex with men and inject drugs.

In the Bible, we have God’s disclosure of His will.  Within the pages of Scripture we may peer into the mind of an Omnipotent God.  In the Bible we are warned, “Be not deceived!”  Could it be that some well-meaning ‘Christians’ are deceived?  A person is deceived when they see nothing wrong with two men getting married, or two women having sex.  Even with this sinful lifestyle becoming more and more tolerated, God still calls it an ‘abomination’ (Le 20:13).  Nevertheless, “God is not mocked!”

Is AIDS God’s judgment on the perverts of America?  Probably!  The reality that God has not already rained down fire and brimstone on our darling nation proves that He is a loving God, and not that he condones a tainted standard of living.

Alongside I-85, a billboard advocating tolerance of sodomy says, “Gay or straight…All…equal.” This is of course a reference to the Declaration of Independence.  However, it is interesting to note, they left out ‘created’ equal on their little sign!  While I would partially agree with our founding fathers that all men are created equal, I would argue that all men do not remain that way!

All men are born into sin.  You need not teach a baby to lie, it will learn on its own.  That is natural. Children must be brought up in the nurture and admonition of the lord, because sin comes naturally to all.  When an attractive yet scantily clothed woman walks by, a man’s ‘natural’ instinct is to look and lust after her.  That’s natural, but that doesn’t make it right!  Even if sodomites are ‘born that way,’ and even if they don’t have the slightest affection for the opposite sex; that still does not excuse what God calls an abomination!

Despite arguments to the contrary, the sin of sodomy is far from natural!  As mentioned before, Webster defines sodomy as a ‘crime against nature!’  Romans 1:26 refers to it as “That which is against nature.”  Vs. 27 says it’s an “…Error…” and “…Unseemly…” Vs. 28, Paul said these people “…do those things which are not convenient.” And, finally in Vs. 31 they’re “…without natural affection.”

In 2^nd Kings 23:7, the Bible says Josiah “…Brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD…” - In Josiah’s time, the Sodomites had come out of the closet and settled down right beside the Church.  And today we see the same thing happening!  Perverts, no longer want merely to be left alone, they want to be accepted.  They’re not concerned with simply being tolerated anymore; they want us to embrace their perverted lifestyle.  I don’t care if they move in beside the parsonage and paint the house pink. I’ll point next door and tell my children, ‘Those people are wicked as Hell!’

You can’t show me a single instance where Jesus ever witnessed to a sodomite or a lesbian.  In all 66 books, God never sent the homosexuals a prophet.   But before you accuse me of being unloving: I have witnessed to several of them before.  I’m just saying that I’m not planning on going into “fag evangelism.”   Can you imagine setting up a rainbow-colored tent at all of the rest areas? I can’t fathom it but I do witness to them.  Have you ever witnessed to one?  By that I mean, have you ever showed them from the Scriptures that they’re at enmity with God and must needs repent or perish?  Have you ever done that for anybody?

Is It Ok?

Seeing that our new president is the product of an interracial relationship questions about the subject have once again come to the forefront.  Whether you speak from a Christian or secular viewpoint, I want your input; so feel free to leave a comment.

“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Jude 1:7

Most, if not all commentators suggest that “strange flesh” really means “same sex.” In these last days, there sure is a lot of that going on. But is that what the writer meant?  If we had no more to go on that the names Sodom and Gomorrha, That’s certainly a conclusion you would come to.  However, we have a simple Bible study tool called a “Dictionary!” According to Webster’s 1828 Dictionary “Strange” means (1.) Foreign; belonging to another country.

I’m no Greek scholar, but I did look up the term on my computer. Strong says “strange” comes from the Greek term heteros (as in heterosexual). A form of that word, meaning “other” or “different,” appears nearly 100 times. Now, I said it came from heteros but the exact form of the word in Jude 1:7 (“strange flesh”) is heteras which occurs only twice. The only other place is found in Heb 7:13 – “For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.”

I would also like to point out all the warnings the Book of Proverbs gives concerning “strange women.”  (Pr 2:16; 5:3,20; 6:24; 7:5; 20:16; 23:27; 27:13)  I’m aware of the spiritual application there, but I certainly wouldn’t fault a person for applying it literally and not “spiritualizing” it.

I know this topic is highly controversial and that is why I posted it.    Men and women from both sides of this issue are seeking help and spiritual guidance on this issue.  For that reason I speak plainly.

I do not know whether God is always opposed to Gentiles marrying outside of their respective races.  I know it would be sin for me. If I came home with a Nubian Goddess, mom and dad would have a heart attack and needless to say, that would go against Matthew 19:19 “Honour thy father and thy mother…”

But Interracial or not, a couple who won’t honor God and their parents during the courtship, has no reason to expect the blessings of God during their marriage.

For those on the fence, I would have to advise you to marry within your own race because, frankly, we live in a cruel world.  Even among churchgoing folk, racial bigotry and stereotypes run rampant.

But if you’re already married interracially, don’t let the devil beat you up about it.  No, you won’t be accepted everywhere and that’s just a fact you will have to live with.  But I promise you one thing; God’s people will love you.

Yesterday I watched the fantastic musical Hairspray in the Netherlands. The dutch version really rivals Broadway and was hilarious. Watching this and so rooting for the right thing, aka equality between white and black to happen, it’s very annoying to read the following two examples in the news.

First the african american NFL player Larry Johnson, a running back for the Kansas Chiefs, who told two reporters to get their faggot asses out of the locker room and later directing similar language to a fan on Twitter. He apologized after pressure from the Kansas Chiefs but only to his team and kids that see him as a role model. Not to gays of course. He has been arrested for beating up girlfriends so he was not much of a role model to begin with.

And then an african american woman who goes biblically nuts at the Washington D.C. marriage equality hearing using God, reproduction, calling gays dogs, using the devil, demons and slavery to make her point against gay marriage.

Of course there are also white bigots. Proof yesterday was the interview with Joe Wurzelbacher aka Joe the Plumber. He was at Joy Behar’s show and she did definitely put him in his place, but what an idiot!. He calls homosexuality wrong, does not want his children to be around gays and says basically all pedophiles and that being gay is a lifestyle choice. When Joy asks him why people would wanna be gays if they are chastised by people like him he act like he has nothing against. The guy is stupid, a homophobe and why is the loser even famous?? People should not even interview him anymore
