Jau, thanx to DJ UMB from Generation Bass my JUF Mashup got some airplay again. Popular Computer, in partnership with Fairtilizer, kicked off a remix competition for the track “Darling” off of his first full length release Senso Data on Rise Recordings. The deadline is May 10th and you can get the the competiton details and song parts Here.

Having just finished recording his second release in what will become a trilogy, Popular Computer briefly describes it saying “It’s about the human and sun heat.”  And having been a fan ever since his Kitsune Compilation features, I’m exited to see what this competition yields!

Ok, so Viral Life got approved for the splendid musicians’ community Fairtilizer! Which is totally great, except for that I have no idea how to do what I applied there for: embedding the Fairtilizer track player on my blog and other places on the web where I would see it appropriate. Anyone who knows how to do this?

The plan was to get an easy way to publish the tracks here on this blog, for streaming or for downloading. Still haven’t found out how to do that.

As far as I can see, anyone can stream or download the tracks from Fairtilizer, though. Good enough for now. So please, go there already and make Viral Life the anti-hero of the northern hemisphere by downloading the crap out of them servers: http://fairtilizer.com/users/virallife. The two new tracks Ulvisa and Vibrachord Vessel is there, together with three tracks from the 2006 sessions. (Or, you can just wait until I get the link to the player working. That may take a while, though.)

Entropy reigns (in the celestial city)

The moment has finally arrived when AirDrop Records officially comes to existence with its first release AD 001 aka Giraffe by Soul Clap, you must know them by now. The release will be on 10 inch vinyl- Yeah, that’s right! And if that’s not enough, the vinyl is yellow with a nice little label design (see for yourselves below).

Now to put the cherry on top, we got Franco Cinelli to remix the living day out of the original (A side) creating a dark masterpiece to grace the B side of our first vinyl.
