Blogs are a great way to write your genealogy in readable form. Have you been thinking about starting a blog for your own family history stories and lore? Not sure how to get started? Wordpress will once again be offering their "Blogging 101" and "Writing 101" starting September 15th, 2014. These are free on-line daily walk through of the ins and outs of setting up and maintaining a site (Blogging 101) and practice writing and inspirations for posts (Writing 101). Did you know you may set up a blog only visible to a closed group (your family)? You can also have multiple authors if you choose! So, if you've been trying to think of a cost effective, but private (or attention seeking :) ) way to share stories and enhance your family tree research...this is a great opportunity. And no, you do not have to do them simultaneously, and there will be no test at the end to sweat about...Give it a shot! After all, there are probably lots of relatives who are thinking~ Maybe someone should writer that down...
