Kristen is not the kind of actress that needs a lot of attention—indeed, she seems happier with the spotlight on someone else. She doesn’t seem to enjoy press conferences, or junkets, and she doesn’t appear at her best when standing in front of thousands of screaming people. It makes her an easy target for criticism, because she can be taken as ungrateful in these situations. It would be easy to watch a KStew interview and only see the fidgeting, the frowning, and the impatience to be doing something else. But that’s Kristen Stewart. She won’t beg for our attention. She simply waits, like Shelby, for us to adapt. And adapt we do. It takes work to be a Kristen Stewart fan. She can be awkward. She’s shy and fairly inaccessible. Outside of Twilight, she’s not usually in the kind of movies that generate massive press, so you often have to work to find her interviews, tracking down obscure magazines and waiting ages for one of her movies to come to theaters (hello, Yellow Handkerchief). Following Kristen means looking past that so-called ungrateful surface to see what is really going on. And what’s really going on is that Kristen is an actress with quiet depth. Look past the fidgeting and hear what she’s saying, how passionate she is about her work, how dedicated to her characters. Hear her praise for her co-stars, get past the stop-and-start speech and listen to her stories about working with Jodie Foster, what it was like to be hand-picked by Sean Penn, how it felt to be chosen to play a character idolized by millions. There’s something about KStew fans, though. We like that she makes us work. We like her because she makes us work. In a highly unscientific poll of Team 411, we determined that we like Kristen for her offbeat attitude, we like that she’s not another cookie-cutter starlet. Love her or hate her, Kristen Stewart is real. This is just her. Either you’re going to adapt, or you’re going to go hang with Daisy. Kristen fans are a discerning group. We do not need our girl crush to pander to us, we don’t need her in the press saying something pseudo-shocking or flashing her panties every day. We love Kristen because she just is—just is quiet, just is shy, just is awkward. She just is a rebel, a young woman determined not to be turned into some processed product. She just is this way, and she’s not going to change that any time soon. And we love that. We are Kristen Stewart fans. We are not yappers.”

I so totally agree with what the team 411 said about Kristen Stewart and about being a fan of her. Just like Demi Lovato, I like her for being so real. And yeah, she seems like the realest person in Hollywood. She stands out. She seems different, unique… real, honest. She does things her way- the way she dresses, the way she deals with people, and everything. She’s not afraid of what might the world think on what she does. She admits things about herself that seem unusual to a celebrity-like, hating having so much attention on her, talking about twilight and such. She’s the first celebrity I know to admit those kinds of stuffs. She smokes, but she did not kept it as a secret to fans, to the people. She lets us know what kind of person she is and it doesn’t matter for her if it seems awkward. She doesn’t try to be perfect and I really like how she stands up for herself, how dedicated she is on her work and…her studies, I can say, since she just recently graduated from high school WITH HONORS! The Kristen Stewart we knew from the beginning is the same Kristen Stewart of today and she’s not gonna change anytime soon. I love that…We love that! I’m a Kristen Stewart Fan and I’m so proud of it. Proud of looking up to someone who’s very real! Okay, let’s give Kristen a warm round of applause for being…well, for being just herself! Dear Flo, I got the tape (all sessions with me are taped) and I finally listened to it tonight. Thank you again. I laughed when I listened to it. You are such a sweet lady and I am definitely taking your advice and trying to figure out how I can do something regarding learning to make and edit movies. T.C., Watertown, Mass.

In the early morning hours today, at 6:39 A.M. to be exact, the Moon will be in aggressive, hardy and energy packed Aries. So you and I should expect the world to spin as we try and close in on Christmas Day and all its promise. By noon the Moon will square Pluto and we will all be looking for a fight or a small disaster. So slow down and take it easy or the promise of the skies will be at your front door.

And then within minutes the Moon will be square the Sun and that just adds to the aggravation of the day. And then by mid afternoon the Moon will be opposite Saturn. So the planets are lined up to bring on a few problems and if you fall for it there you are.

Might be wise to slow down a bit and try a minute or two of meditation. Sure would help get you thru the day in one piece.

Moon will remain in Aries on Christmas Day and by 7 P.M. the Sun will square Saturn. Not a good aspect, but at least there will be energy so use it wisely.

No wonder the average man stays home by the fire. He can’t afford the costs.

Sanford also wants his wife back, but she filed for divorce this week. And then we have Tiger Woods, who has plenty of money and can afford anything anyone would want, but he has lost his image. his wife and his children. . Word this week is his Capricorn wife will file for divorce when she gets back from Sweden, where she is spending the holiday with her children and her family.

Just te remind you all, Mark Sanford is the cheating Governor of South Carolina and just the other day he got notice his wife Jenny has filed for divorce. He is the one ran off to Argentina to be with his girl friend and called her his soul mate. Now says he wants to try and make up with his wife, the mother of his four sons. She is also the woman who helped run in political campaign.

He is going to have a tough time seeking any further gain in politics without his wife. Wonder if the gal in Argentina knows anything about politics in South Carolina?

TIGER WOODS AND WIFE ARE BOTH CAPRICORNS

Tiger is a Capricorn, born on December 30. 1975 and his wife, Elin Nordegren is also a Capricorn, born on January 1, 1980. Take two Capricorns together and you are going to have a challlege. They both want total control. And if you read this column with any regularity you are well aware Capricorns are having a time. Pluto is in Capricorn and Saturn just danced into Libra making a square to Capricorn.

And anyone who thinks a Capricorn woman would accept the behavior of Tiger Woods and stay around is living on another planet. There is no way a Capricorn would stay around. They just don’t think of themselves as victims,or if they ever do it doesn’t last long.

So although Elin signed a prenuptial agreement she has a lawyer who will get her more of Tiger’s money than anyone could imagine. I wrote weeks ago that according to Tiger’s natal Astrological chart he had no idea how to handle women. How right it was. This guy may be good on the golf course, but in the bedroom and the family room he has no idea what he is doing.

Tiger should have hired a good Astrologer so he would know when he can do what he does and not get caught. Tiger has a Moon in Sagittarius conjunct Neptune and then Mars in Gemini would be opposite Sagittarius. He has the Neptune influence with the Moon which rules women and he has no real knowledge or understanding of women, plus he has a terrible temper. If he had any knowledge of all these girl friends he would have been more protective of himself, instead of having dozens of ladies telling all.

Then he marries a young lady who also has a temper with the Moon in Gemini square Mars in Virgo and you have a sure recipe for arguments of the best kind. Plus Mrs. Tiger Woods is now in the middle of her first Saturn return.

The Saturn return happens from 28 to 30 and is a very challenging time in a life. It is a time of making big decisions and forces the 30 year old into a change in direction. Anyone over the age of 30 knows the feeling because no one misses that period of life without a few scars. So Elin is living thru it in a very public way. And it is not over.

Her Saturn is at 26 degrees of Virgo. So Saturn will be back there by early April and until the end of July 2010. Then it will make a strong station in mid May. I am sure amid the thousands of words I wrote about Tiger Woods since the day after Thanksgiving I wrote that Tiger’s dear daddy played the same games as he played. He just didn’t have as many ladies waiting for him, but of course he was not a big time golfer with tons of money and obviously a lot of free time.

Winner of this year’s Heisman Trophy, the biggest prize in football, is Mark Ingram Jr. born on November 4,1988 in Flint, Michigan. He is now a sophomore in Alabama and is a halfback on the Crimson Tide. This is the first time an Alabama player has won the Heisman. Mark Jr. has a daddy. Mark Sr., who also played football. He was a wide receiver and played for the Giants, but someplace he must have gone the wrong way because now daddy is in jail awaiting sentencing for any number of crimes.

DIANE SCHULER WAS A SCORPIO

I found the birthday of Diane Schuler. Remember Diane? She was the young mother who drove a SUV the wrong way on the Tatonic Parkway in New York on July 26, and hit another van killing eight people, including her two children and her three nieces. And once they checked her blood after the accident it was found she had been drinking and smoking pot.

Diane Schuler was a Scorpio, born on November 13, 1972. Now anyone who knows a lick about Astrology knows Scorpio is capable of living a life full of secrets. So Diane was certainly capable of keeping any drinking habits to herself.

She had the Moon in Aquarius and her Mercury was in Sagittarius. At the time of the accident she had Saturn square Saturn. She had her natal Saturn at 19 degrees of Gemini and Saturn was transiting at 18 degrees of Virgo that day. She also had Pluto square Pluto both of these transits cause tremendous stress.

It is time for a change in direction. Saturn creates an atmosphere of frustration and sometimes depression and Pluto creates a disaster if you don’t make some changes. In other words you can no longer be twenty when you are about to hit the forty year mark. Plus you have to change some of your negative habits. You don’t do it then the universe does it for you. Then to add to the situation Diane ’s progressed Mars was conjunct her natal Sun. Now anytime you see Mars making an aspect like that you know there is going to be some massive action. And there was. You just can’t beat the universe.

AMANDA KNOX CONTINUES TO FIGHT FOR FREEDOM

The sad story of Amanda Knox from Seattle, Washington, a student at Washington University. who goes off to study in Perugia, Italy and ends up two years later found guilty of murdering her roommate and is sentenced to 26 years in jail is back in the headlines.

Amanda is a Cancer, born on July 8, 1987. And as all Cancers know your family never, ever gives up on you and Amanda has one of the most devoted families ever. They will fight for her freedom until death and even beyond if you believe in that stuff. But they certainly are in her team. And it may work in her appeals.

Now when we look at her natal chart she has Neptune opposite the Sun, Mercury and Venus. This indicates there will be problems with men, starting with her biological daddy and continues on with all men.

One might say she has had some problems with men, like her Italian boyfriend, boss and the prosecutor. Neptune creates a aura of deception around the native (Amanda) and life seems to involve a lot of deception and often drugs and alcohol.

Amanda trusted too many people and talked too much. She has a Moon in Sagittarius and it is conjunct Saturn. There is disappointment and distance between her and the women in her life. Amanda now has to live with the mess, that many feel was created by others. In other words Amanda was deceived. She has Pluto in her natal chart in Scorpio, trine her Sun, Mercury and Venus.

So if she keeps at it she may be free before we know it. But whatever she does and where ever she is she is a born care giver with her Sun in Cancer. She is now dealing with Saturn square her Venus and Pluto opposite the Venus. This brings about a change in all of her relationships. One might imagine being jailed in Italy will bring about change.

KATE HUDSON and A ROD CALL IT QUITS

As predicted in this column just a couple of months ago Kate Hudson and A Rod have gone their separate ways. He’s doing the same stuff in Miami and she’s traveling around selling her new movie “Nine” on TV. Kate, as I wrote just weeks ago likes her way and A Rod, a Leo has to be the star and following someone who is a star just doesn’t work for him.

A Rod is a game player and an extremely high maintenance kind of guy. He’s not going to travel around selling someone else’s movie. So there you are another true Hollywood romance hits the dust. But since Mars is in Leo they could decide to get back together again just for laughs.

Kate is a gal for all seasons. It is obvious when Kate, who is an Aries is in your life there has got to be excitment or she would be off finding fun and games in another venue. As she was quick to say in her many TV appearances the summer and fall of 2009 was great fun.

Now she and Alex Rodriguez, have ended their relationship since she is starring in the new movie “Nine” and running around TV pushing the movie and he is running around Miami looking for a long legged blonde.

Kate has had a few well known lovers, plus she married one, had a son. Her interest is in men who have had a few problems, but of course she loves the chaos the problems create.

Like top athletes Lance Armstrong and then A-Rod. Kate is an Aries born on April 19, 1979 in Los Angeles. She is the daughter of Goldie Hawn and was totally ignored by her biological father. She grew up in Colorado.

Now Kate is a woman addicted to chaos. She has a grand square in Cardinal, Her Sun is 28 degrees of Aries, square her Moon in Capricorn, opposite Pluto in Libra and square Jupiter in Cancer. She is what is known as an old Soul. She is a fighter, with charm, she has not had it easy, although it appears that way. That is not the way it is in her life. She lives with tension and stress and that means chaos rules, but she is extremely tough.

You don’t hear her crying the blues when lovers leave. She is not a cry baby like Jessica Simpson, who is a Cancer, known for her tears when her guys leave. Kate had to learn early in life how to deal with her missing biological father, although she claims her mother’s lover, Kurt Russell is her daddy, there is still pain involved. And she was just hit by the Eclipse which means more change for her in the next six months. Just watch it.

She is not attracted to ordinary men. She likes them to have heavy problems that create excitement and cause chaos. He husband, the father of her child was Chris Robinson, frontman for The Black Crows. She married him in 2000 and had her son in January 2004. Kate left Chris in 2006 and they divorced in 2007. By then she was hanging out with Owen Wilson, who was hospitalized after trying to commit suicide, They broke up and then got back together when he got out of the hospital. We all call that type of a relationship chaos.

Owen and Kate parted once again and then Kate started up with Lance Armstrong, a Virgo, who won the Tour de France seven times, but he also battled cancer and brings that history into a relationship, plus he has three children with his first wife. Now there has got to be a few problems in that type of relationship.

That romance lasted a couple of months and then who is she attracted to good old A-Rod, who brings plenty of Leo pride to any relationship. He is a high maintenance, high living baseball player and will certainly provide Kate with fun and games for a time. This proved to be true. After all the summer of their romance he was playing at the top of his game.

What in Kate’s chart gives her the charm and the magic personality to attract these high flying men?

She has Neptune trine the Sun, and Jupiter trine her Venus in Pisces, now although she has her own Aries type of aggression and enthusiasm she is extremely charming and men, particularly those with their own set of addictions, love the charm of her.

She is also a magic person, full of life and looking for a good time. That is also what helped her in winning fame in just a few movie appearances. Her film “Almost Famous” got her an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe prize as the best supporting actress in her role. And the word around town is she is full of energy and vim in the new movie, “Nine.”

When you combine her cute little face with the challenges she has faced in dealing with her father issues, you have a woman who is charming but tough. And she admires powerful men, men who want control. Can you imagine anyone telling either Lance Armstrong or A-Rod what to do?

And she can put up with their nonsense for just so long and then she too must march off and find a new pal to fall in love with and charm. But when the chaos dies down Kate is off on another new adventure. So one can certainly assume that Kate got busy making movies and A-Rod has never been one to sit home and wait. He is a high maintainance kind of man. There is also no way Kate would give up her fabulous movie making career for any man no matter how hot he is.

Been reading John C. Maxwell’s Developing the Leader Within You.

A lot of insights that I got from this book. Especially the stories, means of illustrating some simple truths. I’m not done with this book, though. Still in Chapter 5, the one entitled “The Quickest Way to Gain Leadership: Problem Solving.” Awesome one. Anyway, here’re some of my favorite, that caught my attention and my heart:

From Leonard Ravenhill’s The Last Days Newsletter:

“…a group of tourists who were visiting a picturesque village. As they walked by an old man sitting beside a fence, one tourist asked in a patronizing way, ‘Were any great men born in this village?’

The old man replied, ‘Nope, only babies.’”

A poem by William H. Hinson:

“He who seeks one thing, and but one,

May hope to achieve it before life is done.

But he who seeks all things wherever he goes

Must reap around him in whatever he sows

A harvest of barren regret.”

A poem “Judas” by Hester H. Chomondelay:

“Still as of old

Lastly, from the chapter that I’m reading, on the section entitled “Problems Give Meaning to Life”:

“A wise philosopher once commented that an eagle’s only obstacle to overcome for flying with greater speed and ease is the air. Yet, if the air were withdrawn and the proud bird were to fly in vacuum, it would fall instantly to the ground, unable to fly at all. The very element that offers resistance to flying is at the same time the condition for flight.

The same law, that obstacles are conditions of success, hold true in human life. A life free of all obstacles and difficulties would reduce all possibilities and powers to zero.

We all have a tendency all of our lives to want to get rid of problems and responsibilites. When that temptation arises, remember the youth who was questioning a lonely old man. ‘What is life’s heaviest burden?’ he asked. The old fellow answered sadly, ‘Having nothing to carry.’”

One of the aspects of SoCal life which continues to weird me out is the high community population of famous people. Now that I’m off at school in the middle of nowhere, it’s become less a feature of my life, but when I am at home with my parents, even a trip to the grocery store is jam-packed with celebrities. Now, because of where my parents’ house is, these celebrities are mostly of the Osbourne and Kardashian clan, so it’s not like I’m picking out tomatoes with Johnny Depp, but still. It’s unsettling.

Even more unsettling are the number of people who look like they’re famous, but who I don’t recognize. I can’t tell you exactly what it is about them that makes them seem like celebrities; maybe it’s the fact that they’re way dressed down, but their shoes and watches and haircuts are a gazillion bucks; maybe it’s the way they walk or hold themselves; maybe it is, as my father suggests, the fact that they seem unused to doing their own chores, and so make strange hashes of normal activities like, you know, pushing a cart. Whatever it is, I feel surrounded by people who I would recognize if I watched more tv or was more aware of pop music.

But you know what? I’m making out as thought these folks are the most unsettling of my grocery store pals, but they’re not. The most unsettling are the people who aren’t famous, but who are loaded. The SoCal rich are unusually theatrical. Regardless of their ages, their belts are spangled, their knee-high boots sport leather tassels which drag behind them on the floor, their aviator sunglasses take up half of their faces. They are friendly and oddly intrusive – “What are you looking for? There’s a guy over there who can help you find what you’re looking for. Hey! Hey, guy! Hey, she’s looking for some kind of cheese here, she needs your help!” – and difficult to figure out. My mother, paraphrasing F. Scott Fitzgerald, put it best: “Let me tell you about the very rich. They are weirder than you and me.” They have a licence to be strange, and they are strange, and they are evidently unaware of how strange they are.

The BBC is reported to be offering new contracts to women aged over 50 following suggestions that it discriminates against older females. Maxine Mawhinney is currently the only female BBC news presenter in her fifties although the organisation is now believed to be in talks with Julia Somerville, 62, Fiona Armstrong, 53, and Zeinab Badawi, 50.

It’s good to see the Beeb is finally doing something to address this indefensible state of affairs – although unfortunately positive discrimination is just another version of age discrimination.

 It would be satisfying if Julia, Fiona and Zeinab told them where to put their job offers and could sashay off to accept better offers elsewhere. That, of course, would depend on the commercial channels recognising a definite market opportunity…

For those of you old schoolers out there, you probably remember the actress Alaina Reed-Hall as “Olivia”.

She was the funky and spunky Sesame Street resident with a songbirds voice.

She also played the down-to-earth neighbor of Marla Gibbs and Jackee Harry on the NBC show, 227.

In recent years, she has been seen in a slew of commercials.

Alaina passed away on December 17.  The news of her death traveled slowly, but now we know.  She was 63.

Trivia: Alaina was once married to Kevin Peter Hall, who was played the Predator in the “Predator” film franchise, as well as plain big- foot in “Harry and the Hendersons”.  They were married until his death.

my dear friend annie and i took the bolt to NYC last weekend to visit meg, who we grew up with in framingham. meg lives in a ballin’ little apartment in the west village and works her ass off to do it, so annie and i had a lot of free time to roam and, per usual, very little money to spend. thus this facebook album was born as we used my crappy crackberry camera to detail some celebs’ outing on a saturday in new york. inspirational credit goes to the huntington news’ fabulous liz kelley, who did a similar thing with tom hanks in paris.
