¿Quien de ustedes no ha visto o por lo menos ha oido mentar a la saga de Star Wars (aqui en Mexico, la Guerra de las Galaxias)? Todos los que hayan nacido en la decada de los 80’s sufrieron los embates mercadotecnicos de estas cintas. Y es natural, cuando uno es un crio que no sobrepasa el metro de altura, queda boquiabierto ante el despliege de rayo lasser, naves intergalactica y esas maravillosas espadas de luz. ¿Que niño no quiso una de ellas? Eran brillantes y hacian ruidos chidos. Y claro, como no te la podian comprar pues ni siquiera existian, pues no quedaba mas que esperar a crecer y comprar una cuando ya las inventaran. Ya pasaron 20 años y yo sigo sin ver ni una sola en venta. Que desilusion…

A grandes rasgos, la primera peli estaba chida (cuando uno es niño no es muy exigente) pero las demas estan de weba. Ya de grande, veo la cintas y me pregunto como pudieron y pueden ser tan populares e influyentes cuando en el fondo todo es el vacio oropel de una producto “impactapendejos” ¡hasta una religion nerd surgio de ellas, y su biblia es un libro escrito por un fan llamado “Yo, Jedi”! ¿Asi o mas idiotas?

Pero siempre hay algo rescatable hasta en las peliculas Lado B (Star Wars tiene todo para ser una, a pesar de su alto presupuesto: Una historia pendeja y llena de huecos argumentales, malas actuaciones, villanos de risa, mostruos cagados, etc.). En este caso en la princesa Leia. Anque toda las saga fue una plasta que no sabia ni donde estaba, en la tercera, el Regreso del Jedi, aparecio de una forma tal que nos marco para siempre en nuestro futuro tiranetero. Vestida con un extremadamente sexy vestido de esclava sexual, atada con una cadena que sujetaba un gordo asqueroso y lujurioso (ejem, nada que ver conmigo) y mostrando esos encantos que tanto tiempo mantuvo ocultos, hizo que cuanto niño viera la cinta disfrutara de su primera fantasia sexual y tal vez, a su primera ereccion. Nuestras inocente mentes fueron corrompidas de forma precoz debido a las torneadas piernas de Carrie Fisher. Y a ustedes ¿no les paso?

Last week I was at the Chicago Bears/49ers game at Candlestick Park. I had a pre-game field pass for this particular game and it gave me an entirely different vantage point from which to look at the fans in the stands.

It started me thinking about what makes sports fans all over the country holler till they’re hoarse, paint their faces in an array of colors, sit in snow and rain for hours to watch games, spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars for tickets, and anxiously hold out footballs, jerseys, and other paraphernalia to be signed by their favorite players.

I also thought about what has made me a lifelong Dallas Cowboy fan and the reason I have no less than 10 Cowboys t-shirts, plus jerseys, jamies, sweatshirts, ticket stubs, signed hats from training camps, and even earrings.

Ponder how the following sports fan traits relate to your business success:

1. Loyalty to a group – People have the need to feel like they belong. They need connectivity. Fair weather fans come and go but loyal fans attend games, buy season tickets, purchase apparel, and follow the team on television and on the Internet. They’re proactive in supporting their team.

Think about what loyalty means to you in your business. Are you loyal to your vendors, your clients, and your networking circle? In balancing work and play, are you a loyal friend? A loyal spouse? Are you loyal to your own journey of success?

2. Observing Examples of Excellence – I believe another reason we see fanatical fans is that they realize in a deep way, the effort, guts, determination and sheer hard work it takes to play and excel in their sport. It’s not all glitz and glitter; there’s constant preparation, both mental and physical; it’s moving beyond average into greatness with every single decision.

Think about examples of excellence you’ve observed from people in your own sphere of business and personal relationships. Who has spurred you onward to your own pursuit of greatness? Who has inspired you to move past your challenges and to not allow them to penalize your own determination? Have you thanked them lately for being part of your team?

3. Because of the “great ones” who have gone before – When I think of great ones, I tend to think of the legendary coaches of times past like Tom Landry, George Halas, and Vince Lombardi. Of course, there are players who will forever be etched in my memory for their consistent excellence on the field; players like Emmitt Smith, Roger Staubach, Walter Payton, Joe Montana, and Jerry Rice.

Think about the great business and entrepreneurial mentors of times past as well as current ones. Who can you “adopt” as a personal mentor, whether through books, DVD’s, e-newsletters, or seminars? Whose example can you follow to take your own business success to the next level? Who can YOU be an example to?

Hoe moet dat dan verder hier? Is dit het? Begonnen in 2007 met dagelijkse en soms zelfs meerdere posts op een dag? Het ging als een tierelier, jazeker. Het ging uiteindelijk tegen me werken. De keuze om met de billen bloot het internet op te gaan. Ik ging mezelf vervelen, werd moe van mijn geschrijf. Maar het meest moe werd ik van mijn dwangneurose om dagelijks te schrijven. Ik moest, ik moet… Ik heb gemoeten. Een Moestuin van zenuwtrekjes.

Dus dit is het? Hier houdt het op?
Welnee.
Ik ga (blijf) hier gewoon doen wat ik doe en deed.
En ik heb zo mijn fases.
Dan weer bezeten van videoclips, dan weer een foto, een loze one-liner, een vet gedicht, letterlijk vertaalde teksten, een lulverhaal… Of wat dan ook. En dan weer een hele tijd niks.

Ik heb het al vaker geschreven. Ik moet niets moeten. Ik moet al zoveel wat ik eigenlijk niet moet, maar toch moet. En dat vergt moed. Vaak genoeg in ieder geval.
Je hebt geen idee van de kluizenaar die in mij schuilt.
De schim achter de ramen, de dromer en zijn bedrog.

Het vreemde is dat ik al heel lang iets wil schrijven. Precies hier, op deze plek.
Er zijn al heel wat ideeën de revue gepasseerd. En toch deed ik er niets mee.
Gek eigenlijk. Nog gekker is dat ik het nu dus toch doe. Alsof ik verantwoording moet afleggen. Terwijl dat helemaal niet hoeft. Misschien is dat wel precies waarom het nu wel zover is, dat ik nu wel de moeite neem om weer eens wat van me te laten horen op deze plek. En dan in de zin van persoonlijk verhaal (hoewel: stukken over The Weak And The Strong en aanverwante onderwerpen… Die zijn net zo persoonlijk… Maar goed, you snapt what I mean!).

Ik heb mijn eigen verwachting geschept. Mezelf vastgepind op iets waar ik niet op vast te pinnen ben.

Oké, ik dwaal af. Wat kun je hier dus nog verwachten? Geen idee, maar in ieder geval iets. Dat kan dus van alles zijn.
In ieder geval altijd een ego van mijn echo… Huh? Een echo van mijn ego, bedoel ik? Ja, dat ook.

I don’t believe in the X Factor, the programme, or the definition of someone having said X Factor. The X Factor is so much more difficult to define than a teenager with a wacky haircut and the latest warble to be deemed fashionable by multi-millionaires with a heartfelt passion for a certain part of the music business (that being the business part!)

 I read an interesting article about getting a thousand loyal fans in order to make your musical career sustainable. May not seem like a lot of people but it really is. If you play to 100 people in a night, I reckon 10% will take an interest/compliment you/want to know more. Of those 10, probably 10% will take it further. Therefore, if my maths serve, 1000 gigs will get you 1000 fans, if you’re lucky and work like a lunatic.

But if you’re a teenage desperate who has made it to the big X Factor shows, it’s all there. You do passable, sometimes terrible, occasionally great versions of karaoke favourites, thus appealing to the watching masses music-wise. You’ve already bypassed the need to connect socially with prospective fans via the internet or by other means because your emotional rise to the top has been documented in the series, plus you’ll be splattered all over the tabloids so everyone already feels a connection with you. If you win your CD makes it into the record shop and onto the interweb thanks to the all powerful machine backing you up. If you’re a runner up there’s still a chance your album will make it onto the supermarket shelves. I now browse the CD section and see completely unfamiliar faces next to Michael Jackson and the Kings of Leon with inspiring album titles like ‘This Time’ and ‘Believe’ with one new formulaic song and 10 cover versions. It’s a brilliant setup – genius! It totalIy bypasses the uncertainty of where your next fan is coming from. I’m not belittling the people who make it to the finals – it is immensely hard work performing in any way. I also applaud the makers and the panel for creating something that draws people in, gets the whole nation debating and on the edge of their seats and makes them lots of money whilst bringing some young hopeful’s dream to fruition for a month or two.

 The only problem I have with this fruitful setup is with the other side of the music business – the music side. I briefly saw a panel show, Xtra Factor or something and Joss Stone was commenting about the programme being all about the singing. It’s not. It’s about drama. It’s about ‘is Cheryl going to cry this week?’; ‘is Louis going to walk out again?’; ‘is one of the contestants going to swing for Cowell?’ The panel are the only real celebrities on the show, the only famous ones, and probably the only ones with the X Factor – in their case the X Factor being their ‘Panel Personality Traits’. Oh, and Dermot (lovely, lovely Dermot.) And it’s the drama of the contestant’s struggle, how they have progressed in just 6 short weeks, caterpillar to butterfly, what they had to go through or sacrifice to reach the final – who needs Eastenders? But it’s not about music. It’s not about a song you can listen to for 20 years and still love passionately. It’s not about a band that you grow with and love more every time you see them live, watch a video, find out they are lovely as well as brilliant. If you want music, watch Later…With Jools Holland – a programme I always, and I mean always, love when I see it because of it’s diversity and for it’s unashamed love of just watching people performing.

The X Factor is great television. And what, I hear you cry, has it done for music? Well, the X Factor is great television. 

The point of this rant? The next time someone says, ‘you’re a musician? Why don’t you go on X Factor?’, I shall perhaps reply, ‘because I’m a musician’ or I shall perhaps direct them to this post.

And to you, the X Factor viewer. Do me a favour, instead of watching it next week, try one or all of these ACTUAL MUSICIANS instead. You don’t have to go out to find them (links included) but you do have to put more effort in than just sitting with the remote and a bag of Maltesers (mmmmmm, Maltesers, sounds good!)

So I was sitting here today thinking about all the money that I have spent since Michael’s passing on magazines and I decided to, for the first time really go through them rather than having a quick flick in the store to determine whether or not I’d be selling my soul to the devil to buy them… and to be quite honest… I got more smiles than tears.

He was such a beautiful guy… physically as well as on the inside. I don’t really know how anyone could have hated him…. it really just goes back to how the conflicted of heart, dark-of-heart, you might say, reacts to something pure and true. Some people are naturally repelled by the presence of something so pure, really and I believe it is what happened here.

(Update: So it’s been like an hour since the “You?” question and… nothing. And my mild stalking/over obsession/complete waste of life has seen him online the entire time save for maybe a couple minutes.[probably had to piss I would imagine] Now, (a.) He was so overwhelmed by the amount of information I offered him in response that he, understandably, over looked the three letter question at the end, or, (b.) I have completely alienated another person in my life, in which case I am deeply regretful. “Ray! Please, I’m sorry for my strange come-backings. I will forever keep it robotic and impersonal! Just don’t not respond to me!!?” or (c.) he was just like, “fuckin, to much info my man…. MMMM drank!” All of which are completely possible, but I’ma lean towards (c.)

Similar to what I said in my last post, I’ve been thinking about how to make this site more appealing to draw more visitors. I was thinking of what leads me to a blog. Not much, to be honest. I don’t read many blogs, which is probably a result of my poor opinion of them. In general I find blogs to be painful due to the poor grammar, boring due to the blogger writing about things I and the rest of the world have very little interest in, and distasteful because of the often cheap backgrounds and website structure. And now I see that my blog, as much as I try to avoid calling it that, basically falls under the above description. I most fervently hope I can at least avoid the first faux pas, however. I’ll take a properly written boring blog over a grammatically heinous moderately intriguing piece any day. Is that true? I suppose it depends on how far ‘moderately intriguing’ can stretch. My point is, get the grammar right, folks. I can bear terrible structure and irrelevant content. Just please be a little more careful with the easy stuff. There’s no excuse. You’re doing a bad job of representing yourself to the public, no matter how much you swear that no one cares. I judge you when you use poor grammar, that’s why I joined a Facebook group saying just that. See, I’m an activist for positive change. Ha. As if joining groups changes anything. Remember that.

So now all of you will be jumping on my every typo, right? That’s the idea. I figure if I ask you guys to let me know of any mistakes in my writing you’ll feel like I’m using you and won’t do it, but if I give you the opportunity to prove me a hypocritical bastard, well, that’s just too juicy to pass up, isn’t it? That’s what I should’ve done in high school to get decent peer editing – claim my grammar was perfect, my flow was excellent, and my conclusions impeccable. Ever get the feeling your fellow students didn’t really care about your essay or what grade you got? News flash: they didn’t.

That reminds me of Zoolander, which I watched last night, like I said before. There’s a funny bit involving the phrase “Earth to…” which I would say is probably the funniest part of the movie. Yeah, it’s not too funny. I was disappointed. It wasn’t worth my time. So few movies are, don’t you think? One of these days I’ll probably put out some really harsh movie reviews just to let out steam and increase this load of content not getting read.

I think the main thing is that I’m just sick of Ben Stiller. I think I was sick of him the first movie I saw him in. I just don’t find him funny.

But that’s enough on that. I accomplished my grammar goal. My primary objective is to discover what makes a blog appealing, even return-worthy, and how I can utilize that to gain followers and make money. Muahahaha.

Kidding. I would like to make money, and I will shamelessly flaunt ads to do so (barring those Evony travesties), but this isn’t about gaining followers. I would like to someday be able to call it a community of creators and appreciators, so I need to spend time thinking about how to get to that point.

I just read a blog article entitled “The Top 10 Snipers in History” or something along those lines. I saw it in some list on WordPress and clicked on it because I’m very interested in snipers. So what my articles need are captivating titles. They also need relevant and popular tags so that they’ll show up in searches. I would say that so far I’m succeeding in these two things. What’s left is to enlarge my content stash.

And how to keep readers here once they arrive? Well, interesting articles, for one. That’s so subjective. In the future I may write to please readers – when I actually have readers – but for now I’m sticking with what interests and pleases and satisfies me (as far as content and style). I had another thought earlier. The blog has to do something for the reader. If I’m putting out wonderful works of literature and especially poetry, that’s good enough on its own because readers will be inspired by the works and attempt to liberate their own creativity, or simply bask in the beauty. But I’m not. I hope to, but I’m not currently. So I need to help you out somehow to motivate you to return here the next time you’re in need. Good but not great prose needs practicality – the interest keeps you reading, the help brings you back.

Something like a guide to further information. That would be the simplest, probably. That list of snipers would’ve been greatly enhanced by links to websites with more information, which I’m sure exist because the author definitely wasn’t writing off the top of his head. I haven’t really written any information articles yet – but then again all my posts are information to a certain degree. So I should consider offering links for further enlightenment. It’ll at least draw the frantically procrastinating middle schoolers.

DIY (not DUI) blogs seem to be fairly popular. So I might want to consider putting that sort of slant on some of my articles. Surely I have plenty I could teach how to do. Mm…like fruit revolutions, for example. I’ve been meaning to make a video about that and post it on Youtube.

Speaking of videos, I also thought of making a video on how to get a job in Japan, a detailed version of Andy’s which I linked in another post, put it on Youtube as a reply to said video, and include a link to this blog in that description. That would surely draw a few bored surfers. Andy has a pretty sizeable fan base which I can take advantage of (I mean that in the most parasitic way possible).

Until then, I guess I won’t be seeing you, because you haven’t yet arrived, but you will.

Choisissez la catégorie “Artiste, groupe ou personnalité”, et ne sélectionnez pas de sous-catégorie . Ne vous souciez pas de cette classification “artiste”, elle n’apparaîtra pas sur votre page.

Le seul avantage de cette catégorie est de pouvoir avoir plus de champs textes sur votre page afin de décrire votre activité et vos produits.

Si vous choisissez “Local”, vous aurez très peu de possibilité d’insérer du texte.

Attention car une fois choisie la catégorie, impossible d’en changer !

2. Mettre un premier contenu sur votre page : insérez sur votre page pour bien débuter :

- le logo de votre entreprise : format 200 px de large

- la courte description de votre activité et le lien vers votre site web.

Vous pouvez faire un lien RSS depuis votre site web. Quand il y aura une nouvelle actualité sur votre site, elle sera publiée sur facebook.

- au moins quelques actualités les plus récentes ou les plus importantes

- un petit album photo si vous avez ça en stock

- un petit message sur votre mur d’annonce  de type “Suivez l’actu de X sur facebook : devenez Fan !”

Voilà, une fois que vous avez fait ces 2 étapes, vous avez la base, vous pouvez donc publier votre page pour la rendre visible de tous.

Une autre étape très importante mais que vous ne pourrez pas faire immédiatement : Créer l’URL friendly (“username”) de votre page : cela est essentiel car non seulement cela permettra de communiquer sur une URL courte et facilement mémorisable, mais cela vous permet de “réserver” le nom de votre marque sur facebook, ce qui n’est pas négligeable !

Attention, car il faut attendre d’avoir un certain nombre de fans (plus de 100 actuellement) pour pourvoir créer cette adresse directe.

Pour créer l’adresse de votre page, cliquez ici : http://www.facebook.com/username/ puis sur “Définissez un nom d’usage pour vos pages”

NB : si vous avez une page  fan “Adobe”, quelqu’un d’autre pourra créer une page exactement du même nom. Autant si vous avez sélectionné www.facebook/Adobe, plus personne ne pourra prendre cette adresse, ce qui est logique.

Petite restriction : vous ne pouvez pas créer une adresse avec moins de 5 caractères.

Este sábado por la mañana tuve la oportunidad de asistir a la premier de Planet 51, una cinta para niños coproducida entre EU y España. De hecho, no sabía de la participación de España hasta que leí los créditos de la película y vi que el 90% de los nombres que aparecían estaban en español, no en inglés, así que investigué y caí en cuenta de ello, de hecho, el director de la cinta (Jorge Blanco) no había hecho nada antes, cosa que en cierto modo espanta, sobre todo por una película a la que se ve que sí le invirtieron su buen dinero.

El caso es que esta cinta, que recuerda mucho al estilo de animación de Shrek (y no es coincidencia, hay mano metida de la gente que hizo Shrek aquí), trata acerca de una premisa sencilla: ¿qué pasaría si un astronauta llega al espacio y, en lugar de encontrar rocas frías y soledad, se topara con una sociedad bien organizada, muy parecida a la nuestra? Él sería el extraterreste al cuál temerle, no los “aliens”. Pues bien, bajo este tenor, se nota un gran aprovechamiento del recurso de la psicología, en el que se plantea en terrenos reales la reacción de los niños, de los adultos, de las fuerzas armadas, pero todo, por parte de los aliens. Quizá este punto sea el más rescatable de esta cinta, pues plantea algo que no habíamos visto antes, y menos, en animación. Ridiculiza de manera eficaz a ciertos personajes como lo son: los soldados (a quienes plantea como sobre-estimados y más bien estúpidos), el astronauta (que es un rockstar científico), el genio (que no sabe nada pero que, como tiene imagen de serlo, todo el mundo le cree lo que dice) y hasta el perro (no el extraterrestre, sino un robot espacial que recuerda a Wall-E y que se comporta como mascota).

¿De qué puntos adolesce? Creo que por momentos, la cinta se vuelve un poco lenta al no pasar mucho, la premisa es tan sencilla que hay partes en el guión que se notan muy forzadas para emocionar a los niños, pero no estoy seguro que lo logren. Además, en la versión en español se siente raro no contar con mayores voces famosas que la de William Levy (si es que se le puede considerar famoso), y es que él tiene una voz tan común que ni siquiera la ubiqué en principio. Seguro lo eligieron por dos razones: fama entre las chavitas y por su enorme parecido con el personaje, un astronauta estrella. Mejor para los actores de doblaje, buen trabajo que lograron, pero la mercadotecnia cinematográfica nos ha acostumbrado a otra cosa.

Hablando de William Levy y haciendo una pausa en esta crítica, es importante mencionar que son lamentables las acciones que toman ciertas personas cuando ven a un artista. ¿Acaso esos personajes de la farándula son dioses? ¿Son genios? ¿O es solamente por su belleza y por “salir en la tele” que la gente se pone idiota cuando los ve? Lo digo en particular porque me tocó entrar a los pasillos del cine junto con el Sr. Levy y, de verdad, es impresionante que las chicas que querían verlo de cerca, no les importó bloquear los accesos al cine, aún con que había una fila que provocaba problemas de paso entre la gente. ¿Lograron conseguir la foto? Tal vez, pero no creo que haya valido la pena. Por supuesto que me ha impactado ver a alguno de mis artistas favoritos en persona, pero tampoco dejo de pensar en que hay mucha gente que quiere seguir con su vida normal y, por más emocionado que esté, nada me da el derecho de realizar actos que les molesten. Invito a los clubes de fans a que sean un poco más conscientes y menos embrutecidos.

En fin, Planet 51 (nombre tomado de Area 51 y que, de hecho, es curioso que en español le dejaron el título en inglés, sin la “a” en Planeta) es una cinta que, para los niños, vale la pena ver pero que pasará sin mucha pena ni gloria en la historia de las animaciones modernas.

Les premiers fans sont arrivés dès 2 heures du matin, mercredi 11 novembre, pour assister à ce qui pourrait être l’ultime concert bordelais de Johnny Hallyday. Car pour être juste en bas de la scène, à quelques centimètres de la star, c’est « premier arrivé, premier servi ».

16 heures d'attente pour 2 heures de show : pour les fans de Johnny, passion rime avec patience.

Jean-Louis, lui aussi, est arrivé à 2 heures… mais la veille. Dans quelques heures, il passera sa deuxième soirée consécutive en compagnie de son idole : après le show de mardi, il a repris sa place, en bas des marches de la patinoire Mériadeck, pour une nouvelle journée d’attente.

Une cigarette à la main, emmitouflé dans son anorak gris, Jean-Louis alterne les bières et les cafés. Il est 15 heures, et derrière lui, des centaines de capuches et de parapluies se rassemblent déjà. L’homme a payé 110 euro pour les deux soirées, et sera à Clermont-Ferrand dans dix jours pour un nouveau spectacle de son idole. « Je suis un fan à 90%, confie-t-il. 100% c’est impossible, à cause de mon métier, les gosses… On dit qu’un type a vendu sa boulangerie pour suivre toutes les dates de la tournée, mais bon, quand même…»

Jean-Louis a retrouvé Daniel, son « ami de concert » depuis des années. Pas besoin de se téléphoner, ils savent qu’ils se retrouveront ici, comme à chaque fois. Blouson en cuir à franges, le quarantenaire a lui aussi passé la nuit « juste là », à même le sol, sans sac de couchage. Sur les carreaux ocres du parvis qu’il montre du doigt, la pluie ruisselle toujours.

« Le p ‘tit, par contre, il a dormi dans la voiture » précise-t-il, comme pour rassurer tout le monde. A ses côtés, le pré-ado, léger duvet au dessus de la lèvre et déjà 17 concerts au compteur, affiche un sourire radieux. « C’est parce qu’il a pris des photos des musiciens à leur hôtel. J’envoie le môme, ça passe mieux », explique Daniel, les traits tirés par le manque de sommeil. « Avec ma femme on l’a appelé Johnny. C’est la relève ! »

« Ça ne finira jamais »

Aux quelques klaxons complices des conducteurs, la foule répond par des éclats de voix et des signes de mains. Mais à maintenant deux heures de l’ouverture des portes (prévue à 18h30) pas de karaoké improvisé. Alors que la pluie a cessé, il y règne même un calme certain. « On s’économise pour être au top pour soutenir Johnny », explique Chantal, tout en repliant son immense bâche kaki.

Coquette et souriante malgré dix heures d’attente, elle a passé la journée avec son amie Raymonde, assises sur des poches poubelle. De son sac s’élève soudain un air connu. « Ça ne finira jamais » de Johnny Hallyday. « Ma sonnerie de téléphone, sourit elle, mais je décroche toujours au dernier moment. Des fois, je ne décroche même pas pour avoir la chanson jusqu’à la fin. ».

"J'aimerais mourir avant Johnny" avoue Jacky, au centre, entouré de Raymonde et Chantal.

Ça ne finira jamais ? C’est aussi la réponse que l’on reçoit lorsque l’on évoque les soucis de santé de la star. Jacky, devenue la mascotte de la bande grâce à sa casquette « Allumez le feu », veut toujours y croire : « Johnny, c’est un héros, notre héros, alors il durera jusqu’à 100 ans». Plus lucides, les deux copines déclarent ne pas vouloir y penser, et préfèrent se remémorer leurs souvenirs, nombreux en 40 ans : les bouts de cravate et de chemise pour lesquels « il a fallu se battre », les dizaines de concerts, les quelques fois où elles ont pu lui parler, lui toucher le bras. Elles ne comptent plus les objets qu’elles collectionnent, « de toutes sortes sauf les figurines, car quand on les regarde, c’est pas lui ».

« Plus que dix minutes !» La nuit est maintenant tombée, et la file est longue de plusieurs centaines de mètres. En tête, la petite bande se plaque contre les barrières, leur billet à la main. Chacun a pris soin de découper légèrement le haut et le bas du talon, le long des pointillés. Une technique infaillible et bien connue des habitués. « Premièrement, ça va plus vite, mais en plus, ça évite que le gars qui les check ne nous les abime. C’est pour la collection après… » me glisse Jean-Louis.

Une collection qui pourrait donc bien s’achever le 9 février à Bercy, point d’orgue de la tournée. Et les fans s’y sont déjà donné rendez-vous, rien que pour avoir le ticket.

Sinds gisteren is het mogelijk om fan van mij te worden. Tenminste, wat mij betreft mag je op elk moment van de dag fan van mij worden, daar heb ik verder geen moeite mee. Als het ondergoed maar aan blijft.
Wat ik bedoel is dat er sinds gisteren een ‘Roy Santiago’-pagina bestaat op Facebook. Het leek me wel een goed idee om onderwerpen als “Ik zit een frietje Waterfiets te eten bij snackbar ‘Dikke Leo’” (bij Sjors om de hoek) en “Ik speel dan en dan, daar en daar” te scheiden.
