2NE1 to invade school wearing school uniforms!

2NE1 did a guerilla concert in a school wearing school uniform for a special performance for SBS Gayo DaeJun on 30th December. Known to set trends and made headlines with their fashion style since their debut this year, the group shows yet another charming side of them wearing uniform.

A production staff expressed confidence for the performance, “Can be said to be the best guerilla performance in history”.

Meanwhile for SBS Gayo DaeJun this year, we will see the face-off between ‘rival’ rookie groups BEAST and MBLAQ, Big Bang GDragon and TaeYang’s solo stages, and also 2PM’s upgraded performance of ‘Heartbeat’ with a new ending performance ever seen before. 2PM will also be performing a new song.

For the past couple of months, ArenaNet has been working tirelessly to boost the security of the system, and the first changes are finally making their way in-game.

Those of you who log into Guild Wars will notice that there is a new option to fill in. Aside from your username and password, you will have to correctly name one of the characters on your account. ArenaNet is continuing to formulate methods of keeping accounts secure, so this new field is not the only change to come.

Although the new field will help with brute force exploits, it won’t do anything to help one of the leading causes of lost accounts: key loggers. Blizzard had a good idea by introducing the security dongle that changes your password every couple of seconds. As long as you don’t lose the dongle, your account is essentially theft-proof.

More on people with poor account security (using the same password for a game and its much more hack-prone fansite) as it appears.

During their recent interview with StarNews, group 2NE1 reveals something which many fans have been curious about – their ideal type of guy!

Q: Currently 2NE1 members have no boyfriends, there are many fans who are curious about your ideal type of guys.

• Park Bom: I’d like someone who can only loves me. I don’t really look at the looks.
• CL: Teddy oppa’s style, who is like my real oppa, is my ideal type. I like someone who is caring, works hard at what he is doing and is a good listener.
• Sandara Park: The style I like are like celebrities WonBin and Kang DongWon. The toughness within the soft image.
• Gong MinJi: I like someone who has a pretty smile, is caring and sincere.

Q: Further plans and next year’s aim:

• Park Bom: Even though this will be discussed in more details with the company, but by looking at it now, looks like 2NE1’s 1st full length album will come out early next year. And I want to do our own concert after the album release.
• CL: We are currently preparing for our full length album and we will appear in front of everyone with a new image. Because it has been long and we want to present our best, we will work hard for this 1st full length album. Oh and, personally I found that we have musical charms through our performance during 2009 MAMA. If there is any opportunities, I want to take up a challenge in this area.
• Sandara Park:  I’ve seen how many people would follow our clothes and songs when I return to the Philippines after debuting as 2NE1. And there are many people who asked me why 2NE1 did not come along. Even though there are no plans about this yet, if there is a chance, I want to go to the Philippines with 2NE1. Oh and, I have interests in acting too. I want to try out roles similar to that played by seonbae Han YeSeul in drama ‘Fantasy Couple’. But of course, currently 2NE1’s promotion is the top priority.
• Gong MinJi: Even though there are no solid plans yet, we will work hard to show more improved features next year as compared to this year.

Star Trek Phase II released episode 5: Blood and Fire Part 2. The controversial, long-awaited conclusion to the Star Trek gay story line is finally out! www.StarTrekNewVoyages.com

Earlier this year I told you about Star Trek Phase II, the Trekkie fan made webseries that resurrected the unreleased Star Trek: The Next Generation episode deemed to gay for TV story line “Blood and Fire,” written by former Trek TV writer David Gerrold. Though TV executives originally rejected the story as too controversial for broadcast, Phase II adapted the script for its re-created Star Trek online series.

The episode features the nephew of James T. Kirk in a gay relationship as they rescue another ship infected with highly contagious and deadly blood worms that can spread and wipe out humanoid life across the universe. Kinda like space-AIDS. On top of that there is a threat from the Klingon empire.

The fifth episode of Star Trek New Voyages / Phase II “Blood and Fire Part 2″ is now available to watch and download at StarTrekPhase2.com! and you can check out all the webisodes here.

Star Trek Phase II tells the continuing voyages of Captain Kirk and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, NCC-1701 as seen in the 1960’s television series, Star Trek. Though the series was canceled after its third season, Phase II continues the series picking up as if it was the fourth year for the crew of Enterprise.
