Celebration Plan for Donny Folk

A DAY to commemorate the borough receiving the Royal Charter hundreds of years ago could be celebrated annually and funded by Doncaster Council.

Mayor Peter Davies has asked to see what work could be done to celebrate both St George’s Day and Doncaster Day – when the charter was received in 1194 – according to Freedom of Information documents.

However Mr Davies told the Free Press that no formal decision had been made on either proposal.

The move comes after the documents also suggested Mr Davies wants to stop the council’s involvement in Black History Month, International Women’s Day and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Month.

However the English Democrats member, who earlier in the year said the council will stop future funding for Doncaster’s Gay Pride annual event, also said those decisions were not final.

He said: “The fact is that my views were supported by the electorate who voted for me as mayor.

“There are expectations of me to take steps to deliver on these commitments, regardless of the views of one or two people who may or may not live in this borough and who would appear to be undermining the democratic process.

“I repeat that I have asked officers to undertake an assessment of the impact of my proposals in order that a final decision can be made.”

However Dr Glenda Stone, founder of internationalwomensday.com, said Mr Davies’ proposed snub of three minority events could affect equality rights in the long run.

She said: “It is important that industry and government bodies continue to honour and celebrate International Women’s Day because absence can certainly breed complacency.

“The reality is that 99 years on there are still issues that have not been resolved for women and still are only improving at a snail’s pace.”

It’s worth pointing out that before he became Mayor, Peter Davies argued that the position of Elected Mayor itself was undemocratic – but hey, we’re all entitled to a change of heart. Talking of ‘heart’ it was Richard I (aka Richard the Lionheart) who granted Doncaster it’s Royal Charter in 1194. Richard I barred Jews and women from his coronation ceremony – no wonder Mayor Davies sees good reason to celebrate!

Colonel Efraim (Fein) Eitam was only following orders when he told his troops to beat Ayyad Aqel in 1988. They beat him to death.

Eitam, who since then has held several senior posts in the Israeli government, has recently toured the US as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “Special Emissary” to the “Caravan for Democracy” program of the Jewish National Fund (JNF). This is a marriage made in heaven. Since Israel was founded, the JNF has organized the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and the settlement of Jews on their expropriated land; Eitam sees himself as the messianic soldier-prophet directing future expulsions of Palestinians from Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Hillel of Buffalo, New York, invited Eitam to speak at our campus, the University at Buffalo (UB), on the recommendation of UB Professor Ernest Sternberg, a board member of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East and a founder of its local campus chapter.

In February 1988, Defense Minister Yitzhak Rabin discreetly told the Israeli army to break the bones of Palestinians rising up during the first Palestinian intifada. According to the testimony of Israeli soldiers, Colonel Eitam relayed the message to his Givati Brigade, then occupying Gaza. On 7 February, he ordered four of them to break the bones of two brothers from al-Bureij refugee camp. They cuffed and blindfolded them, beat them for a while in their own home, then took them to a secluded olive grove, where they kicked and beat them for 20 minutes. Khalid Aqel survived; his 21-year-old brother Ayyad died. In 1990, an Israeli court martial convicted these soldiers of assault, reduced their ranks, gave suspended sentences to three, and sentenced the fourth to two months (“Soldier jailed for intifada killing will sue Rabin,” Guardian, 2 November 1990).

Eitam’s soldiers testified he had ordered and participated in the Givati beatings. He admitted driving around Gaza with four batons in his jeep, including a shatter-proof, non-regulation knout made of thick rope. The army judges found that Eitam’s “violent behavior became the norm, and was taken as an example by those under his command” (“Soldier Sentenced for Palestinian Beatings,” Associated Press, 31 October 1990; “Givati Commander Denies Telling Men to ‘Break Bones’”, The Jerusalem Post, 23 February 1990; “Givati 4 Are Convicted”, The Jerusalem Post, 2 October 1990). Still, he received no judgment for almost two years. Then, on 13 July 1992, Rabin became prime minister, and three days later, Eitam got off with a reprimand and a recommendation against promotion. The Jerusalem Post quotes sources suggesting that his likely appeal to Israel’s high court of any conviction might have implicated his higher-ups, including Rabin, in the beatings and murders (“Effi Fein Reprimanded to Prevent Him Appealing to Supreme Court”, 19 July 1992).

Nevertheless, when Ehud Barak became Rabin’s general staff chief, he promoted Eitam to brigadier general. In December 2000, after Rabin’s death, Barak’s successor Shaul Mofaz refused to promote Eitam to the general staff. Chafing at the slight, Eitam gave an incendiary anti-Oslo lecture at Bar-Ilan University. He called Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat “a miserable murderer,” attacked the government for sharing control of Jerusalem, and proposed a new Nakba, or dispossession: the Israeli army “can tomorrow … conquer Judea, Samaria [the West Bank], and the Gaza Strip and expel the population there overnight. It’s not a problem to do this. We have a problem of having the will to do this. As a nation we are inhibited” (“Eitam quits IDF”, The Jerusalem Post, 27 December 2000).

Shortly thereafter, Eitam resigned from the army, but his career flourished. Elected to the Knesset in February 2003, he helped form the National Religious Party and the Renewed Religious National Zionist Party. In 2002-04 he held several cabinet-level portfolios in the government of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, including minister of housing and construction, a post he used to accelerate settlement in the Golan Heights, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

In a long interview with the Israeli daily Haaretz, Eitam called Palestinian citizens of Israel a “ticking bomb” and a “cancer” (“Dear God, this is Effi”, 20 March 2002). Nations other than Israel are a “world of robots without souls.” In classic fascist fashion, he stated that in war the most “sublime things in man appear.” He seems to believe that he is the Messiah, saying his mission is “to save the people of Israel and the State of Israel.” Such a leader, Eitam said, “also leads the Jewish people. He stands in the place where not only Ben-Gurion stood, but where Moses, too, stood. Where King David stood. So how does one do that, yet remain modest? How does one not get lost between coalition agreements and political intrigues, and a process that involves the very order of nature and the order of the heavens and the earth?” (“Continuation of Dear God, this is Effi”, Haaretz, 20 March 2002).

But this modest Messiah isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. Unchastened by the killing of Aqel, Eitam has continued his racist and violent incitement. At a 2002 address in a Tel Aviv synagogue, Eitam called for the murder of then Palestinian Authority leader Yasser Arafat, along with the rest of his colleagues: “If I [could] give the order now, he would be dead in 15 minutes, together with his whole gang.” Of former Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade leader Marwan Barghouti, then being investigated by Israel in preparation for trial, Eitam suggested Israel should just “Take him out to an orchard and shoot him in the head” (“NRP leader Eitam: Arafat, Barghouti should be killed”, The Jerusalem Post, 5 July 2002).

In typical colonial fashion he has called Palestinians “creatures who came out of the depths of darkness” who were “collectively guilty” and who could be indiscriminately killed not only if they had “blood on their hands” but because of “the evil in their heads.” “We will have to kill them all,” he said (“A Reporter at Large: Among the Settlers”, The New Yorker, 31 May 2004).

Eitam has repeatedly called for the wholesale expulsion of Palestinians, seeing a 2002 Israeli assault on the West Bank as an opportunity to force them into Jordan, leaving “our Jewish conscience … clean” (“Israeli nationalist hopes to persuade the country to expel Palestinians, Associated Press, 7 April 2002). In 2006, he stated: “We will have to expel the great majority of the Arabs of Judea and Samaria [the West Bank]” (“Leftist MKs blast Eitam’s statements on Arabs”, Haaretz, 11 September 2006).

Addressing Arab Knesset members in 2008, he said, “the day will come when we will banish you from this house … and from the national home. … You … should be expelled to Gaza, where your people, who are fighting us, dwell; that is where you belong” (“Security around MK Eitam boosted after anti-Arab speech”, Ynet, 15 April 2008). During Israel’s attacks on Gaza last winter, Eitam advocated mass transfer of Gaza civilians and turning the Strip into a “free hunting zone” (“Audio Exclusive: One Jerusalem Interview with Israeli General Effie Eitam (Res)”, One Jerusalem, 7 January 2009).

The Israeli press has documented other staggering statements by Eitam: on the Israeli army’s “very moral” but also fatal use of Jenin teenager Nidal Abu Muhsein as a human shield; his demand that Israel “declare war” on Palestinian citizens of Israel living in the Negev; and his calls for outlawing commemoration of the Nakba; executing Israeli politicians who favor returning occupied territories to Palestinians; and “decapitating” Hamas leaders.

Eitam’s visit protested

When University at Buffalo community members asked Hillel to cancel Eitam’s meeting because of his previous violence and hate speech and the damage his visit would do to local interfaith efforts, it refused. Hillel and other Eitam supporters responded that the scrupulously-documented charges made against him were a “medieval blood libel”; that Eitam never said or did these things; that he was misquoted (he seems to be misquoted a lot) or quoted out of context; that the leading Israeli newspapers reporting his words and deeds were part of a vast left-wing conspiracy; and that even if Eitam did say and do these things, he represents an important sector of Israeli opinion that should be heard.

On 2 November, Hillel held a noon meeting with Eitam for University at Buffalo students. Before the talk, one Eitam supporter talked with another about killing a protestor, while third called out to a student wearing a headscarf, “Why don’t you go blow yourself up?” Eitam’s speech consisted of a tirade about Iran, Hamas and Hizballah, and how efforts to make peace with them all failed, and “withdrawal” from Gaza was also a failure. Eitam compared Israel’s actions to the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, explaining that [US President] Truman had to “incinerate 200,000 people in a second” to protect American troops. When challenged repeatedly by one of us why he has made racist statements such as calling Palestinian citizens of Israel a “cancer,” Eitam simply denied ever having said them and insisted his words had been taken “far out of context” (“Hillel Student to Arab Student: “Why don’t you go blow yourself up?”, The Buffalo Activist, 2 November 2009).

Eitam also spoke at a packed evening lecture. Hillel President Dan Lenard began by denouncing the “fascists” who had presented critical information about Eitam. Consistent with his earlier performance, Eitam’s speech was a mish-mash of Arab-hating, Israel-boosting, and bare-faced lies. He insisted that Iran constitutes an unprecedented existential threat, and indeed, he has been calling for an attack on Iran since at least 2006 (“MK Eitam: Strike Iran now”, Ynet, 18 May 2006). Astonishingly, he said Iran sponsored al-Qaeda’s attacks. And again he compared the course taken by the US with Hiroshima and Nagasaki to the course the US and Israel should take with Iran.

But Eitam couldn’t completely forget his favorite enemies. He claimed that Palestinians fled Palestine in 1947-48 on the broadcast orders of Arab leaders — a claim long discredited. He said that a steady barrage of Hamas-fired Qassam rockets prompted the Gaza massacre, though Israeli sources, including Ehud Olmert’s press spokesman, demonstrate that Hamas ceased all rocket fire between 19 June and 4 November 2008, when Israelis infiltrated Gaza and killed six Hamas activists. Palestinians on the West Bank, he says, are desperate for Israel to maintain the occupation and protect them from Hamas.

It was not a memorable performance. Eitam left the hall with a posse of three armed guards (or so a supporter reports) and a few diehard supporters. Outside the event, 40 students and community members protested Eitam’s presence on campus; they had been alerted by UB Students for Justice in Palestine and the Palestine-Israel Committee of the Western New York Peace Center. A few Eitam supporters spat at protesters or yelled “terrorists!” but more passers-by joined in with the protest.

Eitam’s policies may not ultimately be much different from those of, say, former Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni. But there is an air of desperation in organizing a US tour by such an unmanicured monster. On the other hand, the quickly-organized protest was one of the most spirited in recent UB memory. As the recent actions against former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in New Orleans, the University of Kentucky, the University of Arkansas, the University of Chicago and in San Francisco suggests, Israeli war criminals can no longer count on respectful US campus forums for state-funded propaganda tours. There’s something in the air.

Ofschoon ik de bezwaren van Wilders tegen een Turks EU-lidmaatschap deels kan billijken, kan ik evengoed billijken dat Turkije hem niet officieel wenst te ontvan­gen.

Over het eerste heb ik hier recent al iets gezegd: toetreding van Turkije zal voor Brussel meer problemen creëren dan oplos­sen. When I started this Blog it was my desire to have a portal where people of similar concerns could share their ideas.  I am pleased that I am receiving more input from readers as the Blog gains traction.

Today I received an entry from someone I know from the other end of the country who I have a great deal of respect for.  The thought-provoking ideas behind this brief essay posted below shows that the West Coast is not entirely the Left-Coast.  As you read this piece, keep in mind that Hitler and Mussolini brought their countries more than the destruction of war.  They also begot an economic system and that is what is being compared below.

Free Markets ― Hitler Style

It is obvious that Barack Obama’s idea of the free market is shockingly close to that of Hitler and Mussolini.  Obama is leading us into the fascist version of socialism with his complex interlocking of government and big business.  He is making one deal after another, backed up with the heavy hammer of government financial subsidy.  This is a dangerous trend especially when linked with the massive takeover of the health insurance industry which is soon to follow.

Obama either has no idea whatsoever of the way capitalism should work, or thinks that capitalism even at its best, is a bad system.  I fear the latter.

The only problem with our free enterprise system is that it is not free enough.  Free enterprise, combined with the rule of law, has made this country great.  Obama seems intent on taking us into the third world.  I wonder how his supporters on the communist left like the idea of being pushed into the fascist left?  Well, since China and Russia are both going in that direction, maybe our leftists like it just fine!

Political Correctness (PC) seeks to impose a uniformity of thought, word, and behavior on all Americans.  It is Marxist in its roots, stifling in its influence, and destructive in its effects.  It is diametrically opposed to the traditional American values of free speech, free thought, and freedom itself.

As G.K. Chesterton noted years ago, “Fallacies do not cease to be fallacies because they become fashions.”

Or as I note today, “Bulls—t, is bullsh—t, no matter what cologne you spray on it.”  No doubt my statement lacks some of Chesterton’s savoir-faire, but nonetheless, it is perhaps the more striking meme.

PC is a social virus—of an especially virulent variety.  Step out of line, and the PC watch dogs will attack with vociferous verbal tirades, and threaten with fines, or even jail-time.  Political correctness is essentially a political extortion racket—shut up, or else.

Agustin Blazquez and Jaums Sutton summed it up well in anarticle they wrote seven years ago, “Political Correctness remains just what it was intended to be: a sophisticated and dangerous form of censorship and oppression, imposed upon the citizenry with the ultimate goal of manipulating, brainwashing, and destroying our society.”

Antonio Gramsci: Marxism can best be spread in the West by subverting Western culture

One can trace PC’s roots back to Antonio Gramsci, who helped found and lead the Italian Communist Party during the early part of the last century.  Gramsci’s ideas and writings were, and are, very influential in spreading the idea that Marxism can best be spread in the West by subverting Western culture—i.e. infiltrating and dismantling the culture from within.  He coupled this, with a process he called “cultural hegemony.”

According to Wikipedia, “Cultural hegemony is…the dominance of one social group over another, i.e. the ruling class over all other classes. The ideas of the ruling class come to be seen as the norm; they are seen as universal ideologies, perceived to benefit everyone, whilst only really benefiting the ruling class.”

Gramsci’s concepts of cultural infiltration and cultural hegemony were influential at the German University of Frankfurt adjunct, the Institute for Social Research (ISR), founded in the early 1920s.

The ISR attracted a coterie of Marxists who combined Gramsci’s teachings with Freudian psychology, and other ingredients, in a potent witch’s brew.  Many of the teachers at the so called “Frankfurt School” left for the United States, when Hitler’s Fascism (the “wrong type” of collectivism) rose to power in Germany during the 1930s.

Nazi Left Wing’s Anti-Semitism

The “Frankfurt School” teachings infested American academia, where it slowly spread, until going viral in the 1960s.  One of the more insidious manifestations of Gramsci’s doctrines, is “political correctness” which, with a little help from Mao, first gained momentum on college and university campuses.

Chairman Mao’s “Little Red Book” was all the rage on college campuses in the late 1960s.  One of Mao’s quotes from that book is, “…go to the masses and propagate and explain these ideas until the masses embrace them as their own…  And so on, over and over again in an endless spiral, with the ideas becoming more correct….  Such is the Marxist theory of knowledge.”

Read “more correct,” as “more Marxist.”

To a large extent, America’s teachers these days, are not teachers in the traditional sense at all—i.e. Instructing their students in the fundamentals, and how to think for themselves.  They are political ideologues who indoctrinate their students in what to think—not how to think.  Note the NEA’s recent glowing endorsement of Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.”  (You may want to read my article on the topic).

The majority of America’s teachers are wolves in sheep’s clothing—as are many lawyers, politicians, judges, scientists, etc.  Behind the masks of the various labels they hide behind, and trades they ply, they are committed collectivist ideologues.

Some of them even hide behind the mask of “a conservative Republican.”

They are Global Collectivists, by whatever name—Marxist, Statist, Socialist, Fascist, Communist, Progressive, Communitarian, Fabian, etc.  They want to destroy America’s middle class, and force us all to be subservient to an all powerful planetary regime—a “workers utopia” controlled by a global “cultural hegemony” of big banks, large corporations, and a Ruling Elite.

“We the people,” as a free and democratic republic, are perilously close to being swept into the dustbin of history.  It is only through God’s grace, and the brave and tireless efforts of (largely unheralded) patriotic Americans, that it hasn’t happened already.

It is important that we realize that these Global Collectivists have no interest in the truth—none whatsoever.  “The end justifies the means” to these people; the fact that their “end” is vague, ephemeral, and bogus, notwithstanding.

That means that they lie.  Couple their “the end justifies the means” philosophy, with doctrines rooted in atheism, and you have a moral/philosophical foundation firmly grounded in shifting quicksand.  You cannot trust a thing these weasels tell you.  Ever.

What they tell you may be the truth, but just as likely it is not.  It doesn’t matter to them.  They have no reason to be anything but self-serving narcissists, and lying is simply seen as one more tool in their bag of tricks.  After all, their glorious “end”—a workers utopia—justifies any “means.”  Right?

They not only dismiss the truth as being relative, malleable, and ultimately unknowable, but they refuse to acknowledge the truth when it stares them in the face, or bites them in the butt, as the case may be.

Witness the “scientists” who decry the findings of Intelligent Design as being “theological nonsense,” or the climate “scientists” who close their minds to any data that doesn’t conform to their politically motivated findings.  These “scientists,” aren’t scientists—they are ideological hacks.  Many “teachers,” aren’t teachers—they are ideological propagandists.  Many government “representatives,” aren’t representatives—they are ideological con-artists.  And on, and on, ad nauseum.

(Yes, there are numerous exceptions to the above, but such exceptions are often afraid of speaking out for fear of ridicule, censure, fines, and/or dismissal).

These brainwashed ideological drones (many of whom are quite bright) are largely incapable of seeing the truth.  It is a rara avis indeed, who leaves the flock once they are indoctrinated.

The fact that during the 20th century, collectivism was responsible for over 100 million deaths, does not register with them.  The fact that the only reason that socialist countries work at all, is because of the remnants of capitalism they retain—doesn’t compute.

These Global Collectivists suffer from Invincible Ignorance (ignorantia invinciblis).  That is, they are willfully blind to anything that runs counter to their political mind-set.  Nothing—certainly not the mere truth—will change their minds.

They are not interested in the truth; they are only interested in their agenda.

Soviets were totalitarian, power-hungry and expansionist brutes that started and prolonged the Cold War

Reporter Jamie Glazov ran into this wall of Invincible Ignorance, when he was working on his doctorate (in Cold War history).  He writes, “When the Soviet archives were opened after the fall of the Soviet tyranny in 1991, I hungrily devoured all the information…in declassified documents, disclosures from former Soviet officials, etc.

Glazov found that the newly available documents “confirmed and substantiated what conservatives had been arguing for decades…that the Soviets were totalitarian, power-hungry and expansionist brutes that started and prolonged the Cold War.”

With this new found proof, Glazov confronted his liberal associates, but he reports that, “When I approached my colleagues with this new evidence…instead of hearing a mea culpa, a stated regret, or admission of some kind of lesson learned, all that I witnessed, (in a manner that remains extremely eerie for me to remember), was a callous indifference and smug contempt for the issues at hand.”

Invincible Ignorance.  They don’t care about the truth.

But they care very much about forcing other people to think, talk, and act in a certain way—a politically correct way.

In the world of the politically correct, if you disagree with Obama you’re a racist, if you disagree with Education Czar Kevin Jennings you’re a homophobe, if you disagree with NOW you’re a sexist, and if you disagree with Islam or Sharia Law you’re a Islamaphobe.

In the world of the politically correct, anyone who questions Islam, for any reason, is politically incorrect.  Such a stance is suicidally infantile.  It will lead to the destruction of America.

Which, of course, is just fine with the Global Collectivists—which is why the radical left is in bed with Islamic extremists.  Strange bedfellows indeed, but in line with the old saw, “My enemies enemy is my friend.”  They see no reason not to join forces—for the duration—until America is destroyed.

Let me hasten to add that I am not opposed to Islam per se.  There are many decent, wonderful followers of Allah.  Islam has contributed much of value to the world.  I enjoy the works of the 13th century Muslim poet, Jelaluddin Rumi.  I am not anti-Islam.

I am, however, strongly opposed to Islamic extremists, or accepting Sharia Law in the U.S.  I do not welcome the “Islamification” of America.

If that makes me some sort of “redneck Islamaphobe,” then so be it—I’ll proudly be one.

According to the asinine protocols of political correctness, any preemptive actions taken against suspected Islamic extremists, in order to safeguard America’s safety, sovereignty, and freedom, are taboo.  That insane nonsense must stop.

Supporting diversity is one thing, enabling suicidal ineptitude is another.

(Permit me a short aside:  To my mind, political correctness has made America much too passive.  Passive behavior is fueled by a lack of self-respect, while the equally undesirable, aggressive behavior, stems from a lack of respect for others.  The healthy alternative—assertive behavior—comes from respecting others, AND yourself.  Patriotic Americans need to be much more assertive (not aggressive, and certainly not passive), both collectively, and individually).

The media outlets recently reported on how government agencies foiled several terrorist plots against various targets around America.  These news stories were a slight indication of an ongoing “behind the scenes” battle that is being fought everyday across America.

There is, however, another more subtle form of dangerous Islamic infiltration, and Americans need to be aware that a great deal of time, effort, and money has been, and is being, spent on the Islamafication of America.

The most pernicious sign of this, is the slow, incremental acceptance of Sharia Law in America.  Any efforts to legitimize Sharia Law in the U.S. must be quashed without exception.  America follows the U.S. Constitution—period.

Both Yale and Harvard have been churning out lawyers and other professionals with a Global Collectivist bent, for some time.  Now both of these institutions are accepting huge sums of money from Saudi Arabia.

(It would appear that Yale and Harvard are in some sort of contest to see who can be the most politically correct, unpatriotic, anti-American indoctrination center.  I don’t know if UC Berkeley is even in the running anymore.  Let’s see: Bush Sr.—Yale, Clinton—Yale, Bush Jr.—Yale AND Harvard, Obama—Harvard.  Even giving Harvard extra credit for Supreme Court Justice Ginsberg, I’d say that Yale is slightly ahead).

Yale University Press recently made the courageous decision to publish a book about purportedly anti-Islamic caricatures, or cartoons, published by a Danish newspaper in 2005.  The cartoons caused a world-wide uproar.

Unfortunately, Yale University Press neglected to include any of the cartoons in their book (lest they offend any sensitive Muslims).  Which makes about as much sense as publishing a pictorial history of slavery in America, without any pictures (lest any Afro-Americans be offended).

Talk about some dry reading.  As the saying goes, “one picture is worth a thousand words.”

ISLAM KILLING ISLAMS ITS HONORABLE

Looking at the Yale Daily News, I believe that the woman who made the first entry in the comments section, hit the nail on the head, “The money trail is pretty clear. Yale is a partner to the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia.  I am sure they do not want to lose their $50 million gift from the Saudis by offending them with this book.”  Give the lady a cigar.

In an article titled “Harvard’s Segregated Gym,” Annie Jacobsen discusses Harvard’s new rules that allow only Muslim women access to the university’s gym during specified periods.  Jacobsen says that such segregation harkens back to the “Jim Crow” laws of the Old South.

Jacobsen asks, “Could it possibly have anything to do with the $20 million gift Harvard recently accepted from Saudi Arabian Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Addulaziz Alsaud?”  Hmmmm…what do you think?

And aside from college and university campuses across America, do you think that it’s possible that individuals on Capitol Hill might be accepting “donations” from Saudi Arabia, and other Islamic countries?  What about folks in the Obama Administration?

Just asking.

(Perhaps it’s time we told the “greenie weenies” to go take a hike, and started some serious oil drilling in the U.S.—God knows we could use the jobs.  Let’s make America energy independent, and stop bank-rolling OPEC.  Whatta ya say?)

To get an idea of what the USA might look like in a few years, you should check out this video by the EDL (English Defense League).  I can’t vouch for the EDL, as I know nothing about them—they may be nothing more than a bunch of soccer hooligans for all I know, but the headlines in the British papers shown in the video, are ignored at our peril.

Sharia Law has already raised its barbaric head in America.  Perhaps you’ve heard about the Muslim fellow in Buffalo, New York, who beheaded his wife after she attempted to divorce him.

Or how about twenty-year-old Noor Almaleki in Phoenix, Arizona, whose Muslim fatherran her over with a car and killed her, because he felt that she was engaged in conduct shameful to Islam.

The list goes on, and will continue to grow and expand exponentially, unless Sharia Law is stopped in its tracks.  It does not belong in America, and mustn’t be allowed to grow roots here.

What is NOW’s stance on such “honor killings?”  Who knows.  Their silence on the subject lets you hear the crickets chirp.  Their blanket shrug of indifference on the whole subject of Islamic misogyny, is simply more proof of the Far Left’s collusion with radical Muslims.  NOW’s just being politically correct, and following the party line.  Mums the word.

Before closing this article, I want to mention a couple of organizations that you should be wary of, and a few that will be helpful to know.

You should keep an eye on CAIR (Council on American and Islamic Relations).  As Doug Hagmann noted in a Northeast Intelligence Network article, CAIR’s “rabid pro-Islamist operatives have managed to gain positions or exert influence inside a variety of law enforcement agencies on all levels. Perhaps the most insidious infiltration of all, however, is within the U.S. Department of Justice.”

That’s the same Department of Justice that is hell-bent on presenting Islamic terrorists with a world stage in New York City.

To know more about CAIR, you should buy and read the book “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld that’s Conspiring to Islamize America” by Dave Gaubatz and Paul Sperry.  At least read the short forward by Sue Myrick (R-NC), it’s posted online.

Also actively working to expose CAIR, is Brigitte Gabriel, founder of Act! For America, and one of the world’s foremost experts on terrorism.  You might want to go to herweb-site and sign her petition.

CAIR is not the only organization worth keeping an eye on.  There is a veritable alphabet soup of Islamic NGOs (Non Governmental Organizations) that have dubious connections.  Perhaps foremost among them, is ISNA (Islamic Society of North America).  For an eye opening look at ISNA, you should check out Dave Gaubatz’s article “

In 2006, as 77-year-old Italian journalist/author Oriana Fallanci was dying of cancer, she gave an interview to The Wall Street Journal.  She was wanted in Italy on criminal charges at the time, for having dared to speak out against, what she saw, as the decline of Western culture, and the ongoing spread of Islam throughout Europe.

During the interview she asked rhetorically where the conservative revolutionaries were.  Where were the conservative leaders with intelligence, audacity, and valor?

Where indeed.

I would add, where are America’s Christian leaders?  At what point do they stop playing “meek and mild,” and show some backbone for Christ’s sake!  If they can’t respect themselves, they can at least respect Jesus.

Estimates for total deaths of his enemies within Spain range from 500,000-1 million. After the end of the war, Franco ordered around 200,000 more Spaniards to be summarily executed. This was all in the 1930s, and he would continue with much of the same attitude throughout his reign until his death on the 20th November 1975.

Franco’s Spain was a land before time, where criticism, political parties, trade unions, and even divorce and abortion were all illegal. A cultural wilderness, where artists, intellectuals, and many others, fled from Franco’s blood-splattered clunking fist.

What a succcessful transition to civilization its been since his death. How does Spain feel now, thirty-four years on, to the day? Not as in agreement as you might think, even after knowing what that man did.

There have been efforts by those in power to officially show the shame and sorrow felt. In 2007, the Spanish government banned all public references to Franco-statues, memorials, symbols. Also, there have been intensive investigations into those who suffered at his hand, and attempts to reclaim their memory, often lost or simply never recorded.

However, there is still a substantial section of Spain who do not condemn his actions. Of course, the repression and deaths were worse from time to time, and in different periods. So not all suffered to the same extent. Indeed, many gained from the relative economic success of his reign and were satisfied with higher standards of living, despite the taste of blood at the back of the throats. El Caudillo created a sort of cult devoted to him, with hugely effective propaganda. Children were taught at school that he was sent done by God to save them from chaos and poverty. This has persisted in some people’s minds.

There is no crisis in Spain, and this problem shouldn’t be exaggerated. The vast majority of Spain today were either too young to be brainwashed by Franco, and of course much of the older generation resisted.

The real tragedy of this trial is a that it is a lose-lose.

1. By going to civil court, the rights of the constitution* are bestowed upon non-citizens who attacked us, and freely confessed to doing so. This unconstitutional precedent could be used as a legal basis to grant constitutional rights to illegal immigrants.

2. They have been denied Miranda rights, while being promised all rights. To mix things like this, could set a precedent that “legal” rulings could be reached in a court where a citizen has been denied one or more of their legal rights. Which of your rights would you be willing to have violated and still get a “legal” guilty verdict.

3. This trial is being help up by Team Obama as a shining example of the fairness and impartiality of the US legal system. However, Eric Holder has promised that these people are so guilty that they will never be found innocent, and even if they are acquitted that they will still be held. This in itself is damning in a couple of ways (Mega-dittos go to Rush Limbaugh for opening up this line of thought regarding this show trial):

1. How can it be “fair and impartial” if the verdict is certain? Other countries, and especially the Muslim world will be able to use this as bonafide proof that the US court system is biased, increasing resentment of the US.

2. It will set the precedent that people acquitted from a crime will be able to be held. This must certainly be Obama’s way to bring “prolonged detention” into the legal frame work of the United States.

The way this trial is being conducted the main disaster is not that constitutional rights are being given to non-citizens, but that very dangerous precedents are being set up to deny constitutional rights to Americans.

I hope it is becoming clear to even the most ardent supporters of Obama that he is systematically undermining not only our economic freedoms, but our other Constitutional rights as well. He is grossly violating his oath of office, perjury.

*these are above and beyond basic human rights. No one would argue that human beings deserve basic human rights regardless of citizenship, however, that does not include access to tax payer funded attorneys, the court system, 3 meals, room and board @ tax payer’s expense day in the US prison system, freedom to be given a venue to denounce the US, or Miranda rights.

The President’s first official act is to order that Americans pay for abortions around the world.  Second was to order the close of Gitmo and make sure terrorist’s civil rights are not violated. (He really screwed up!!)

2. The Democrat controlled U.S. Congress rushes to confirm a black Attorney General, Eric Holder, whose law firm we later find out represents seventeen  Gitmo Terrorists.  (An honest mistake?!)

3. The CIA Boss appointee, Leon Panetta, has absolutely no experience, has a daughter Linda, we find out, who is a true radical anti-American activist and a supporter of all the Anti-American regimes in the western hemisphere. (But there were socio-economic factors involved!)

4. We got the second most corrupt American woman (Pelosi is #1) as Secretary of State; bought and paid for. (You can put lipstick on pigs, but they still stink!)

5. We got a Tax Cheat for Treasury Secretary who did not properly file his own taxes for 12 years. (He said he misspoke!)

6. A Commerce Secretary nominee who withdrew due to corruption charges. (Another honest mistake???)

7. A Tax cheat nominee for Chief Performance Officer who withdrew under charges. (Hmmm… another screw-up?)

8. A Labor Secretary nominee who withdrew under charges of unethical conduct. (Ok, maybe this person was just plain stupid.)

9. A Secretary of HHS nominee (Daschle) who withdrew under charges of cheating on his taxes… (I’m running out of excuses for these morons!!)

10. Multiple appointments of former lobbyists after an absolute campaign pledge that no lobbyists would be appointed. (Dear God, I need a drink!)

All this occurred just during the first three weeks… but who’s counting?

Since then Michelle Obama has a staff of more than 20-compared to Laura Bush’s one (that is right, 1.)

We find that Acorn (Obama was one of the main supporters/beneficiaries) has more than 200+ partially government funded ‘non profits’ that are trying to destroy the Country-and the Obama team ‘will not investigate them’.

And how about the 20+ ‘Czars’ that report only to Obama?

America is being run by the modern-day Three Stooges; Barry, Nancy and Harry and they are still trying to define stimulus…”it’s the spending, stupid!!!”

The congress passes the $800,000,000,000 (that’s $800 billion) pork-loaded spending bill where the government gives you a smidgen of your tax dollars ($13 per week), making you feel so good about yourself [stimulated], that you want to run out to Wal-Mart and buy a new Chinese-made HDTV and go home and watch Telemundo!

Pray for our country. Here’s the good news though – Obama took Air Force One to Denver to sign the stimulus package, wasting only 10,000 gallons of fuel OR 24 JOBS FOR ONE YEAR. Don’t you just love this hypocrite?
Speaking of praying, Obama has now been president for seven months and yet he & wife (first lady) Michelle, the Christian family they claim to be, have not attended church since the inauguration. He must miss Reverend Wright!

Why is it that Prozium and his bunch can’t sleep at night without wondering about some obscure blogger? Seriously… what the hell is wrong you? If people like Raj Thackray existed even a few hundred years back, Maharashtra would have been deprived of its vada paava, paav bhaji, sarson-kadi patta chaunk and what not. So, any marathi manoos supporting Thackeray’s “Maharashtra for Marathis” should ideally give up potato, bread, tomatoes, onion, garlic,etc. because these things have been brought to the state by their enemy — ” the outsiders”.

MNS’s chief’s ideas are thought-provoking. He talks about a species called marathi manoos. But has he ever tried to define the physicalities, eating-habits, thought-process, culture that makes this species different from the “outsiders”? And believe me, he will never even try doing it because he knows that it will hack the roots of the plant of hatred he has been growing in his backyard.

If you take away the factors of birth and language, there is nothing that differentiates a marathi mannos from “the outsiders”. Both are the products created by the complex forces of Indian history and politics.  What made UP and Bihar symbols of despair and Mumbai — a city of opportunities? India’s financial and political history will throw some useful light on how and why different states acquired their positions of advantage or disadvantage. 

The marathi manoos alone has not made Mumbai a  city where dreams come true. An entire country has put Mumbai on the world financial map and no person can stop an Indian from using their right to equal opportunity in the city.

Look how Gandhi helped to light the lamp of national pride among Indians and made it into an inferno that enveloped the British empire. When British imports was hurting Indian textile industry, this leader had the courage to weave and wear his own clothes.

If Mr. Thackeray has any secessionist ideas, he should come out with them in the open. He has to create a definition of Marathi manoos and then remove all “outsider” influences and factors from the life of that Manoos. This person should disassociate himself from  all kinds of ”non-marathi manoos” establishments, security forces, textile, food, entertainment, festivals, etc.

This is too big a task for such a small man. I am sure he will prefer the eay way out. The Hitler way. Brand the outsider, deny him the right to equal opportunity, create disintegration, win votes and come to power.

That Mr. Thackeray is going the Nazi way is pretty easy to make out. But what saddens me is that like Hitler, this person is also being placated and pacified with a cowardly policy of appeasement. And it will not be long before we see what price we have to pay for this.

Like they say, “YOU CAN’T STOP PROGRESS,” ..That being an observable fact, it is only ignorance and fear that is representative of those on the “Right Wing” of the political spectrum that causes those “Right Wing Reactionaries” to be no longer relevant, …and to fear and hate progress.
It is a part of the “Evolutionary Process” for everything in our universe to change and adapt in a manner that would allow all forms of matter and all that reflects all forms of matter to make necessary adjustments so that it could survive, thrive grow and mature in an ever changing environment, an environment that moves in stages from a simple beginning to more complex stage. Everything has a life span and when it is necessary for that which has grown old and weak and no longer useful it is natural for that form of live matter to die and be replaced by something that is new and is it’s diametric opposite. An opposite that is stronger, more relevant, more in tune with the circumstances, situations and conditions that prevail at that particular point in time.
Those that hold on to the theory that “Individual Competition” is more important and better than, “Social Cooperation” are acting blindly because they are ignoring the context.
Under the conditions of scarcity of that which is necessary to survive and thrive, all living things will, because out of necessity, become a competitor for that which is scarce and therefor valuable.
To get what is scarce and what is needed before that what is scarce is all grabbed up by the competition and you are wanting and not getting, is the kind of environment that exists inside of a competitive society This competition exists because of material scarcity. “The Human Nature” of individuals living under the conditions of scarcity will act in an aggressive and desperate manner to get what is scarce for themselves.
Because of scarcity and competition, “STATUS” will go to those that accumulate for themselves the most of that which is valuable, because it is scarce.
The “HUMAN NATURE” of those that live under the conditions of “Material Abundance,” will act in a “Cooperative” manner because the need to compete will not be necessary because there will be enough of what is needed to satisfy everyone and no one will go wanting.
Status under these conditions will be arrived at by what you do for others, the opposite of what you can do for yourselves under a competitive condition.
It is new and advanced “Technological and Scientific” development that will make it possible to produce an abundant material society that will change the nature of the people within that society, and will change the nature of that cooperative social society.
It has been said that when people living under conditions where they receive from each according to their ability and to each according to their need, that in time a new type of human being will be born. It will be a “Social Scientific Being” that will need no one to force that type of person to be social. He or she will have no need to have a leader or government agency tell them what they should or should not do. They will become their own leader and understand scientifically the world environment and how to advance the interests of the world environment and the interests of the individuals within that world environment. It has been said that under this condition of harmony between people and environment that the need, for written laws police, soldiers, and courts, will no longer be needed and that the state apparatus will wither away. That in place of government and their apparatus you will have an administration of things, not an administration of people.
