This became an inspiration for creation of a large scale shoulder piece that repeats a floating shape of blood. The whole piece is made of flat alluminium sheet, processed with polishing hammer and attached to a fake leather collar.

This piece was displayed at “What?” Summer Catwalk Show in St Clements with St Barnabas Church, London, June 2012

Use of key players with a snapshot of a goal celebration is a traditonal approach thus supports the message. I took this snap in London Underground. My 2 day obsession with Kimono’s has led me to buy this little one number today. Totally in love even if I only wear it once.

Having an obsession with bags more than anything in fashion is an absolute nightmare. Especially when the majority of beautiful bags range from £400 to anywhere close to £1,000. Any higher I have to accept is way out of my league, in fact the majority over £500 are out of my league, as I still live at home and have a part-time job, but I’m lucky enough to get great christmas and birthday presents. It’s not the cost of a bag, it’s what it looks like, if you look at it and go, ‘Beautiful,Wow,Unreal’…I need it!!!! Then it certainly is a must have, whether its bought from the best LV shop in the world or the smallest back street TOPSHOP, it’s what you think of it! Having said that, when I bought this bag it wasnt the original one I wanted, but when the one you really want is sold out for good, it left me hunting for something close. That is when I found this, reasonably priced, studded and a bucket bag shape, which I don’t already own, I thought this would be nice for now and again, when I fancy a change. Not knowing what to expect as it was bought online, good? bad? horrendous? well…it arrived today and I can’t complain, I’m more than happy with it

So my Aqua order eventually arrived, in time for friday to (Birthday Celebrations at Cafe21). But in my life nothing goes to plan these days. The body was perfect, slimming, stylish and with its deep V’s and huge shoulder pads well…I actually fell in love (I might have to keep her,she looked beautiful alone). And the skirt, perfect fabric, pretty shape but poor fit. (For me). All in all the outfit was cool and classic, but with the skirt being a little big around the waist, it wasnt 100% perfect. So after a morning of relaxing and pondering the internet I now have ‘two’ more Aqua bodies and a leather skirt on order. Lets hope this skirt fits a littler better. I will keep you up to date on these purchases and let you know how it goes.

Customized Denim Shorts

What happens when there’s an item of clothing you want, but no shop to buy it from? These are the times you have to get daring. Most people customize old or vintage clothing. But to save the hassle, I customized a brand new pair of high-waisted denim shorts. struggling to find a pair of powder pink shorts for my trip to Ibiza I went to the extreme and attempted this myself. As you can see this was a success and adding a few little studs made them look a little more shop produced… No doubt after my next holiday to Greece ,these one offs will be featured on eBay for sale. (Shorts are paired with a vintage Mondi belt)

The more times I tell myself to stop spending money, I continue to spend more. Some bargains just cannot be missed…and these boots were a BARGAIN!!!

Thoughts went through my head… there not the best boots ive seen or even the highest shoes I have. There not even closely beautiful to the ones I already own and I didn’t even need them. It was the sheer fact of the price, also how nicely they would pair with skinny’s and a chunky jumper come winter, just for those days of lunching out and spending time with the boy. These bargain boots were bought from ‘New Look’ (Limited Addition Collection) which were reduced from £59.99 to £18.00….I told you they were a bargain!!!

Do you think that fashion and politics are related to each other? What are the effects of fashion in society?

As we all know, fashion is affected by people’s views and ways of thinking, also by their lifestyle, religion, climate, skin tone and politics can be effectible on people outfits and Vice versa.

Fashion can have an effect on people way of thinking, for example you can send indirect massage to people by wearing different colors or by using some prints on t-shirts and political phrases.

Our minds are influenced by many things and what people wearing can an important one and our perception of color in the world can manipulate our mood, light colors are comfortable to the eyes and darks indicate that the person is serious.
Also in elections, some people come in with no knowledge in voting to whom and if they are not sure to who they give their votes for, they will pick the one with the better outfit and the fashionable politician.

So if you want to be effectible on people you have to:

1. Wear well-made clothing. Granted, no one will be checking your clothing’s seams or labels. But image consultants counsel that your audience can tell if you’re wearing a cheaply made dress or suit. You can probably feel it, too. Whether you choose to look conservative or creative, wear well-made clothing made from high-quality fabric. Avoid linen and other easily-wrinkled material.

2. Pay attention to details. Even if your audience won’t see your shoes, make sure they are polished and that the heels are secure.

3. Wear your “Confident Clothes.” Wear something that makes you feel sprightly and energized. This could mean sticking to the tried-and-true, so long as it’s one step above your audience and expresses your personality. Use a solid color that suits you near your face.

4. Dress to look taller. Consider wearing a solid color for both pieces of your outfit.

How succinct the summation of all of these words is. Sons and daughters, four score and fifteen years ago, my life and times were judged by the internet by the number times I mentioned the misbegotten conglomeration of terror known as “shorts and tights”. And smallpox.

The real winner, of course, is the tally for “sexy archaeologist,” “sexy indiana jones,” “sexy women archaeologists,” and “womens knickers”. Dozens, folks. Dozens and dozens.

It is very, very simple. For one thing, all archaeologists are sexy. We weed out the underlings in a Top Model fashion, so that the Ur-Race of Archaeologists can stalk the world on slender, unnatural limbs, and make skeletons cry with our beauty.

Oh, wait. Real archaeologists spend most of their free time covered in terrible tan lines and mud. So, technically, to be super sexy you could just wear a birthday suit and roll on a rugby pitch for a bit. SEXY MUD! How could this go wrong! Alternatively, you could go as a sexy lion tamer WHO IS ALSO a sexy archaeologist, and stick with the lace panties and whip (Barr 11/2010, first paragraph. It’s important to cite such works of sartorial splendor.)
