Bravo’s new fashion reality TV show “Launch My Line” partners successful professionals with established fashion designers to do just as the title says:  create a fashion line. 

A graduate of the Harvard Executive Business School, Marilyn Crawford, who lives in Las Vegas, has established herself as the ultimate expert and spokesperson in business and entertainment.  Crawford is the CEO of Windsor PTM, a global strategic marketing company. She is also Chairman of 2810, a private business membership club. 

When she was three years old she got the fashion bug–  a woman who lived down the street from her made clothes that Crawford designed with the help of her father. 

Fast forward, now Crawford figures if she could catch a fashion guru’s eye, she shouldn’t have a hard time launching a fashion line.  She envisions a clothing collection designed for the “average-sized woman,” which Crawford describes as 12-14.  She says her line would be a cross between Miranda and Samantha from the TV show “Sex and the City,” and, like those two characters, make a loud statement. 

Meanwhile, not to let grass grow under her feet, Crawford continues to travel extensively around the globe for her business and entertainment clients which include: Coca-Cola, Sony Universal, Master Charge, CNN, Volvo, Larry King, Russell Simmons and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. 

Crawford has been named “Woman of the Year” from Arts Horizon and TD/Commerce Banks, and has received The International Women’s Exchange Compass Award, The Humanitarian of the Year Award and Ebony’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. 

“Launch My Line” premieres Wed., Dec. 2 at 11 p.m. (PT) on Bravo.

I found it hard to choose a photo from the series taken of Jaime. Yes, another photo shoot for Christmas   To all the mums out there my question to you is…how do little girls learn to pick their poses? To change them with each photo flash? As you may already know, Tuesday the 17th was a really big night for HMH Couture. HMH Couture was showcasing its S/S10 Collection at the Rhythm a la mode event in association with BBC Children in Need to raise money for under-privileged children and Sophie Anderton was making her comeback in two HMH fabulous HMH Couture designs.

BACKSTAGE:

We had fun backstage with the models preparing for the show and meeting the performers during hair and make-up.

THE SHOW:

The models looked stunning in HMH Couture gowns and the show was closed with Hanna and Sophie walking down the catwalk hand-in-hand.

THE AFTER-PARTY:

This spectacular evening was hosted by the former x-factor contestant and entertainer Chico and after an amazing and successful event, the hard-work finally paid-off towards the end of the night with an after-party and live performances from Chico, Pierre Lewis, Egypt and the new girl band ‘Candy Rock’.

Wow, it’s been a while since we’ve updated our WordPress Blog! We’ve been so busy with live events and new shoots in the Toronto area that it’s been tough to keep up with everything, but we’re catching up

For one week a year, Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio, 28, says things get so crazy and hectic, “I just have to find power from somewhere else to keep going!” she laughs. That week, of course, is leading up to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which took place in N.Y.C. on Nov 19 and will air on CBS at 10pm on Dec. 1. Here’s how the Angel, and mom of 1-year-old Anja (who stayed at home in Brazil with Grandma) made it through.

Saturday, Nov. 14: Fly in from Brazil for my fitting. It’s a big deal to do the fitting. They had all the cameras there. Glad I rested up in Brazil. Now the craziness begins!

Monday, Nov. 16: Shooting a VS campaign today while I’m here. This whole time I am trying to find time to work out because we’re shooting ALL day. At 7, my trainer comes over and we work out for an hour. It’s mostly butt and abs and arms. Last year I had to lose 40 lbs. after having my daughter. This year I am 2 lbs less than usual so I am not freaking out…Still, one week before the show is when I get worried!

Tuesday, Nov. 17: Lots of filming today! I had to do my second fitting and I had to do a biography with VS , which we filmed all over New York. It took so long, I didn’t get to work out!

Wednesday, Nov. 18: In Times Square to promote the show, then we have to go and rehearse. The rehearsal will finish so late, and I really want to work out the night before the show, so I might not be able to get a massage, like I wanted.

Thursday, Nov. 19, 8 am: The show is today! Running late to hair and makeup. Oops. I’m opening the show, so obviously I’m more nervous than anyone else. It’s a big responsibility. I can’t even eat breakfast. Just coffee.
11 am: So many interviews!
4 pm: We tape two shows, so the first one starts now. Walking down the runway, I went on autopilot and blacked out. I don’t even remember what I did. I was just trying to be sexy and fun.
5 pm: Break between shows. I’m hungry! I’m going straight for the catering table.
8 pm: Second show. I didn’t fall in the first one, so I’m not so nervous now. Even if I trip they have one good take! The Black Eyed Peas sing while I’m wearing this bright neon outfit. And the wings are on the arms, so it doesn’t even hide anything!
10 pm: Done for the day! I got a Valentino Couture dress to wear and amazing diamonds from Ivanka Trump. Heading over to the afterparty at M2 in NYC.
1 am: Now I’m really hungry! Grabbing cheeseburgers at Cafeteria with my friends.

Heidi Klum didn’t plan on walking the runway of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last night, but let’s just say she’s a little bit impulsive. “I felt great the night of the fashion show and decided last minute to walk,” the supermodel, 36, who welcomed daughter Lou, with husband Seal, last month, tells PEOPLE exclusively. Klum, who had already been fitted for her dress, opened the Enchanted Forest-themed part of the show, wearing a vine-strewn corset and a full white skirt. “I loved my outfit,” she says, “so I thought, why not?” Her surprise appearance, known only to Victoria’s Secret insiders, drew screams and applause from a shocked audience during the live show Thursday night. Though Klum, who was expected only to host the festivities, said that while her new job behind the scenes meant there was “definitely less pressure,” walking in the show was a thrill for her. “I’m proud of being the curvy model on the Victoria’s Secret stage,” she says, adding that she enjoyed the show herself. “The Black Eyed Peas and all of the looks for the show were fantastic!” You can watch Heidi — and all the Angels — hit the runway when the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs on CBS at 10pm EST on Dec. 1.–Charlotte Triggs

“Femme Fatale” is the name of a very special fashion show presented by Jenna Coppola Studios and Drac Designs (also featuring jewelry by J & W Jewelers), which will take place on Saturday, 21 November, at 4pm SL time. (That is tomorrow!) The show is being organised to raise awareness for the important issue of domestic violence, and donations will be used to allow real life psychologists into Second Life and assist those in need. Today, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Delicate, a lovely ballgown in classic red from Drac Designs:

This beautiful gown comes with a sleeveless, form-fitting bodice with a deep cut for sexy cleavage in the front and detailed embroidery going all the way down to the navel. Gold-encrusted clips connect the top to the shoulder straps, which meet in the middle of the back and branch out in more embroidery, textured with loving detail and showing lots of bare skin on your back. Gorgeous!

Little things often set a design apart from the rest, and in this case, a delicate lace scarf wraps around the neck and covers your back, gently waving in the breeze and playing with the bare skin on your back…and as an added touch of elegance, a stunning beaded bracelet is included. I for one feel absolutely glamourous wearing it, and I am not certain that I ever want to take it off again *giggles;)

Last night was the Bobbin Bicycles event, celebrating the opening of their new bigger bicycle boutique.  We popped in for drinks at the shop and then headed over to My Sugarland for a fashion show set to music by a live pianist and punctuated with fantasy tales about the Bobbin world.  CYCLODELIC’s Kimono Jacket was featured in the show, check it out below! It was a lovely evening filled with beautiful clothes, lots of bikes and really nice people.

So the remaining three designers (Carol Hannah, Irina, and Althea), made it to Bryant Park. Excuse me if I sound disgruntled, but I really wanted Chris to be there! Anyway, it was fun to see Tim freak out. I have never seen him like that! (I don’t think anyone else has as well.) The fashion show kind of impressed me, but kind of didn’t at the same time. Irena and Althea’s collection looked very similar in my eyes…Except Irina’s had too many black pieces in her collection. Carol Hannah had some pants, but they were all similar. Kind of disappointing, but it was a cute collection. I was rooting for Carol Hannah because she is the “under dog”, but it was Irina who won. Now her head’s going to get bigger if it isn’t already. This was the most disappointing season of Project Runway ever. They don’t have even have a reunion show afterwards! It was tasteless, cheap, and tacky in my opinion. I hope that they come back better than ever in January or I won’t be watching it anymore!
