I’m writing this as a male, I welcome introvert females who want to comment, add to, or correct me on this matter.

To begin with, women introverts are rarer than their male counterparts. Or at least, those women considered introverted are still considerably more social in nature than their male counterparts.

I’ve met a few in my lifetime who really fit the description. In general they had a horrible time growing up, same as males, but the nature of their experience was quite different.

Because truly introverted behavior is so unusual in women, it begets some truly nasty reactions. Every pair of parents wants and expects their daughter to be bright, happy, social, and cheerful. Little girls are expected to be pleasing and put a warm fuzzy feeling in everyone’s(especially daddy’s) tummy. Everyone wants their little girl to be a golden girl. Most girls step right into this role with glee and thrive on the attention they’re given.

Yet now that I’ve met introvert females I’ve seen the special treatment and attention girls get has its sinister side. There quite simply is no place for girls who behave differently or who don’t fulfill their narrow expectations. Such girls are thought of us as ’strange’ and are kept out of sight for fear of shame while sunny extroverts are flaunted. Some parents are understanding, but the introvert girls I’ve known have had at least one parent who reacted negatively to them from a young age.

Most introverted girls tell me that they don’t get along well with other girls, least of all the social hostesses, soccer moms, and sorority girls.

Like men, they endured a lot of teasing from both sexes while growing up.

While introvert men are shut away entirely from the world of romance and relationships, introvert girls just end up in bad relationships because of their low self esteem.

Unlike other girls who keep making this same mistake all their lives, an introvert woman’s heart hardens and she learns her lesson quickly. She becomes one of those rare and precious women who isn’t chasing millionaires and movie stars.

Introvert women are much more pragmatic and analytical than other women, more so than most men. They value fairness in a relationship and treasure the quality of a relationship over the material things that can be extracted from it.

While many women speak loudly and rapidly, introvert women tend to speak more slowly and deliberately. They love spending time outdoors and wear less makeup than other women.

They have a deep appreciation for spells of silence and natural beauty.

They are usually superb writers with a lot of creativity and flair for describing the details.

Introvert women always amaze me because they basically contradict everything male cynics have said for centuries.

The sad thing is that most of them, even as adults don’t understand just how precious they are.

My most recent client was interested in capturing some images for a gift for her husband this year. Thinking about the holidays and the time of year, I thought that was a great idea on her part since they have been married for more than 15 years.

She had already scoped out a beautiful park in Perryville where she also likes to spend time with her own fitness routine. The park was nothing less than beautiful with park benches, areas for picnics, ample parking, wonderfully shaded areas and even the Susquehanna River to drop in your kayak.

We spent about an hour working in a few locations that she had already selected (which is a blessing for any photographer when their client scopes the location!) and I was really happy with the results. She was most pleased with the project and I am sure her husband will be as excited as we were to see the finished imagery.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Remember….every day you wake up and your feet hit the floor, think of at least 5 things to be thankful for and you will find the rest of your day to be much more fulfilling.

STRAIGHT TALK It seems to me that we have very clear priorities to attend to if we are to survive on

STRAIGHT TALK

It seems to me that we have very clear priorities to attend to if we are to survive on planet earth very much longer.

First and foremost is climate change. We either admit the problem and deal with it, stopping all practices that work against that end, by force, if necessary, or we perish. Society should triumph over individuals in this regard. Personal profit is totally unimportant against survival. What happened to the buggy whip manufacturers when the automobile replaced the horse? They retooled or died. Whatever. Get a damned clue.

Second, we cannot sustain the present form of huge international corporate mega-capitalism. It is an out of control monster: a willful environmental vampire and oppressor of human rights. Its rulers and masters make sociopathic decisions on a daily basis. As they control costs both quality and choice disappear from the marketplace. They tend to baronies, monopolies, and mini-kingdoms serving the pissant egos of self-styled “giants of commerce.” They are moribund, sucking ghouls, parasites on the planet and body politic. They are the great corrupters of mankind and despoilers of the earth.

Third, put religion in its rightful place, not in the government. If the marching morons of the western religious traditions stopped momentarily to exercise even the barest minimum of individual thought, they would immediately realize that in structure, purpose and results, the forces they support fulfill the mission of the Anti-Christ or its sectarian apocalyptic equivalent. The marching morons are the people prophesied who follow the WRONG master, necessitating and aiding the Arch Fiend’s attack on all virtue and goodness in the world. They are the armies of Satan, Shaitan, the bad guy. The marching morons are ignorant superstitious dupes who hurt other people at the direction of their sick as hell masters.

Fourth, if we wish to progress in a positive and healthful manner, we must liberate the females of our species and educate the children to a rational, scientific and progressive frame of mind. We do not want to crowd young impressionable minds with superstitions, myths or self-destructive and debasing philosophies. This will do more to eliminate the physical, mental and emotional abuse that has characterized our species’ formation and created the corrupt and destructive society we inhabit today than any other measure. We can do so much better, and it begins with free self-directing women and smart well-loved children.

There is more, but this is a fair start. Just wanted to put these four points out for consideration and possible personal ACTION. We really don’t have any more time to waste. KOKO, j

Obama Quietly Backs Patriot Act Provisions by William Fisher Inter Press Service

NEW YORK – With the health care debate preoccupying the mainstream media, it has gone virtually unreported that the Barack Obama administration is quietly supporting renewal of provisions of the George W. Bush-era USA Patriot Act that civil libertarians say infringe on basic freedoms.

And it is reportedly doing so over the objections of some prominent Democrats.

When a panicky Congress passed the act 45 days after the terrorist attacks of Sep. 11, 2001, three contentious parts of the law were scheduled to expire at the end of next month, and opponents of these sections have been pushing Congress to substitute new provisions with substantially strengthened civil liberties protections.

But with the apparent approval of the Obama White House and a number of Republicans – and over the objections of liberal Senate Democrats including Russ Feingold of Wisconsin and Dick Durbin of Illinois – the Senate Judiciary Committee has voted to extend the three provisions with only minor changes.

Those provisions would leave unaltered the power of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to seize records and to eavesdrop on phone calls and e-mail in the course of counterterrorism investigations. READ MORE:

Antarctic Ice Loss Vaster, Faster Than Thought: Study The Independent/UK

The East Antarctic icesheet, once seen as largely unaffected by global warming, has lost billions of tonnes of ice since 2006 and could boost sea levels in the future, according to a new study.

Published Sunday in Nature Geoscience, the same study shows that the smaller but less stable West Antarctic icesheet is also shedding significant mass.

Scientists worry that rising global temperatures could trigger a rapid disintegration of West Antarctica, which holds enough frozen water to push up the global ocean watermark by about five metres (16 feet).

In 2007 the UN Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) predicted sea levels would rise 18 to 59 centimetres (7.2 to 23.2 inches) by 2100, but this estimate did not factor in the potential impact of crumbling icesheets in Greenland and Antarctica.

Today many of the same scientist say that even if heat-trapping CO2 emissions are curtailed, the ocean watermark is more likely to go up by nearly a metre, enough to render several small island nations unlivable and damage fertile deltas home to hundreds of millions. READ MORE:

Climate Change Sceptics and Lobbyists Put World at Risk, says Top Adviser by David Adam The Guardian/UK

Chance to limit warming squandered, says scientist. World needs to prepare to cope with at least 3-4C rise.

Climate change sceptics and fossil fuel companies that have lobbied against action on greenhouse gas emissions have squandered the world’s chance to avoid dangerous global warming, a key adviser to the government has said.

Professor Bob Watson, chief scientist at the Department for Environment and Rural Affairs, said a decade of inaction on climate change meant it was now virtually impossible to limit global temperature rise to 2C. He said the delay meant the world would now do well to stabilise warming between 3C and 4C.

His comments come ahead of key UN negotiations on a new global climate treaty in Copenhagen next month that the UK government insists should still aim for a 2C goal, despite doubts over whether a meaningful deal can be sealed.

In an interview with the Guardian, Watson said: “Those that have opposed a deal on climate, which would include elements of the fossil fuel industry, have clearly made making a 2C target much, much harder, if not impossible. They’ve clearly put the world at risk of far more adverse effects of climate change.” READ MORE:

Bernie Sanders Pushes Back On Public Option by Ryan Grim Huffington Post

While conservative members of the Democratic caucus threaten to block passage of health care reform if it includes a public health insurance option, a growing chorus of liberal lawmakers are making similar threats if the bill doesn’t have one.

Bernie Sanders, an independent from Vermont who caucuses with Democrats, said in a statement on Sunday that the bill must have a strong public option to win his vote.

“I strongly suspect that there are a number of senators, including myself, who would not support final passage without a strong public option,” he said. Not supporting final passage, however, is different than vowing to filibuster it and prevent it from even getting to a vote on final passage, as independent Joe Lieberman of Connecticut is now doing, hoping to strip the public option.

But Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) said on Saturday night that if the bill bends toward the conservatives, “You’ll lose people on the left.”

One of those could be Roland Burris (D-Ill.), who said Saturday he’d oppose any bill without a public option. “I won’t vote for it,” he said.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said on Saturday night, after the health care bill passed a major legislative hurdle by a party-line, landslide 60-39 vote, that Sens. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Tom Carper (D-Del.) and Mary Landrieu (D-La.) are working on crafting a public option compromise that could garner 60 votes.

On Sunday, Schumer predicted that the public option would survive and wind up in the final bill that goes to the president’s desk. READ MORE:

Taking Care of Business: How Big Business Has Hijacked Climate Talks by Oscar Reyes The New Internationalist

A new realism has emerged. Climate change is no longer rejected as a bogus theory the economy can ill afford. Instead, it’s a business opportunity.

A flower blooms under a floodlight. It is projected on to a huge screen, behind a panel of expensively suited executives. A CNN business correspondent struts up and down a catwalk, excitedly thanking UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the ubiquitous Al Gore. The scene of this corporate love-in? The World Business Summit on Climate Change.

‘The fact that I flew here to sit on a panel for one and a half hours, then I´m flying straight back to the US, is an example of our commitment to environmental sustainability,’ boasts Indra Nooyi, CEO of PepsiCo, blissfully unaware of the irony of her statement. Her fellow industry representatives make similar claims about just how energetically they are saving the planet.

This is the new face of the climate business.

Until recently, many of the globe’s biggest corporations were firmly in the climate change denial camp – and funding spurious research to back up their claims. Now a new realism has emerged. Climate change is no longer rejected as a bogus theory the economy can ill afford. Instead, it’s a business opportunity.

Back in the days of George W Bush, the ostrich-headed faction of US industry held sway. Companies like ExxonMobil saw no profits in ‘climate solutions’, so opposed any climate legislation. Now, carbon markets – the buying and selling of the right to pollute – are at the heart of proposals for a new global deal at the UN Climate Conference in Copenhagen this December, and the ‘progressive’ wing of big business, backed by large US-based NGOs, argues that this market-driven approach is the only way to secure an international emissions reductions deal.

The problem is, critics say, that carbon markets are delaying genuine action on climate change, and shifting attention away from the fundamental task of rapidly phasing out fossil fuels. How did it come to this? READ MORE:

CHIEF SEALTH: It matters little where we pass the remnant of our days. They will not be many. A few more moons; a few more winters – and not one of the descendents of the mighty hosts that once moved over this broad land or lived in happy homes, protected by the Great Spirit, will remain to mourn over the graves of a people once more powerful and hopeful than yours. But why should I mourn at the untimely fate of my people? Tribe follows tribe, and nation follows nation, and regret is useless. Your time of decay may be distant, but it will surely come, for even the white man whose God walked and talked with him as friend to friend, cannot be exempt from the common destiny. We may be brothers after all. We will see. – Chief Sealth, addressing a treaty negotiating party, 1855.

Video Response to BlissWeaver
Part 2
November 18, 2009

Hey! This is part 2! Darryl with Desteni Productions, and this another clip in regards to Cari AKA BlissWeaver, who had a problem with the 2012 ascension prophecy that we made a couple days ago.

Right. Okay, Cari, again, this is not an attack on you. This is not something that insult or humiliate of offend you in any way. I hope not, anyway. This is just a point; some responses to what you’ve said, and they’re directed at the response [made by BlissWeaver to the Desteni 2012 clip], okay? All right.

One thing that you said, is something that I have heard a million times from these people who profess “love” and “life” and “positive” and “beautiful” metaphysical feelings and emotions – is that suffering is “useful” for “learning.” Or, suffering is what people have “chosen” to endure. Or, suffering is vital to “provide lessons.” I do not know why the people who profess “Love,” “Light,” “Higher Consciousness” would have such a callous disregard to other people’s suffering.

You know, the same people who have the Candy Land Metaphysics of “Everybody is One,” “We’re All One,” “We’re all thoughts of God,” “We’re all the same,” “We’re all One Entity, one gestalt of being, one great chain of being,” “We’re all One, we’re all beautiful, bright, radiant things.” But, these same people disregard the suffering as something beneath them. Something that can’t reach them. Something that they have “spiritually evolved” out of. It’s like, “Oh, I’ve made it! God loves me! Oh, you guys will have to stop suffering and come up here with me!” I mean that’s just silly. It’s selfish. It’s silly. And it’s callous. And it’s like these people have both polarities – they the polarity going of callous disregard and “Oh, Love and Light.” And they’re the same thing. I find it disgusting, actually, that whole point of suffering. As the comment you mad, Cari – the comment’s disgusting – that you said: “To think that one can relieve another’s suffering is Ego-Trip.”

So if I can extrapolate that point: Martin Luther King was on an ego-trip. Abraham Lincoln was on an Ego-Trip. Mahatma Gandhi was on an Ego-Trip. Nelson Mandela was on an Ego-Trip. Jesus was on an Ego-Trip. Mother Theresa was on an Ego-Trip. Mother Theresa. Maybe she was. If we’re gonna be on Ego-Trips, we might as well try to alleviate the suffering of others.

As long as we’re going to spit in the faces of people, of beings that tried to alleviate the suffering of others, we might as well call it an Ego-Trip. If we can just spit in their faces or rub what they’ve done or accomplished or what they tried to do in the dirt, as long as we can do that, we should just call it an Ego-Trip. Just to complete the whole point, there, just to put a cap on it.

I think what an Ego-Trip is actually, what I think an Ego-Trip is actually, is professing “Light” and “Love” and “Beauty” and disregarding the “Ugly.” Disregarding the Grotesque, disregarding the Rejected, Disregarding the Dark, Evil Places that can’t find acceptance anywhere – that’s an Ego-Trip, to think that you above or Better than anybody else, Better than people who suffer.

I know you don’t think that. I know you don’t think you’re better than people who suffer. And I know you don’t think that you’re better than people who are concerned about other people’s suffering. But to say, “To think that one can relieve another’s suffering is an Ego-Trip,” I would have to ask you, do you really believe that? I don’t have to wonder that, because you don’t believe it – it’s just a statement, like al the other statements you’ve made. But this statement, you denigrate and sully the accomplishment of people who did actually – got off their butts and did something about it.

Now, take that for what it’s worth. What we are doing as Desteni, are producing people… raising awareness – and these people that we’re producing will stand as the point of common sense. We want our Principles acknowledged; the Principles of Life and the Principles of what is best for all: Equality and Oneness. All these things you’ve read about and seen on the videos. We’re not just going to make videos about – we’re gonna do something about it. And Expect that you will Spit in our faces while we are trying to correct what needs corrected. We don’t care. You know, we’re not gonna take it personally when you spit in our face. We expect a lot of people who like things the way that they are, to have the same reaction. We’re not going to be stopped. And in the end, you’ll thank us. So I think that’s all I have to say.

The recent brouhaha created by the ill timed, ill worded, ill phrased (or is it just ill) report from the USPSTF (US Preventative Services Task Force) has stirred the pot to be sure. We support individualized treatment of patients. We applaud the tailoring of medical testing and procedures to individual needs and circumstances based on dialogue between patient and physician. The problem with these “task forces” and their pronouncements is that they color the insurance market and reimbursement policy. The rapidity with which Secretary Sebelius distanced herself, her department and the administration from these recommendations speaks volumes. This report is the proverbial hot potato and nobody in politically correct Washington DC wants to touch it. The sad part is that we know that early detection saves lives. The task forces concern for the ‘anxiety’ caused to women, was from our perspective, frankly, condescending, implying that women (females) may be too fraught with anxiety to deal with uncertainties regarding medical tests and their outcomes. This perspective, whether intentional or not, is balderdash (Colonel Potter’s favorite expletive on MASH). Arguments about mammography and its proper role are not new. We site several comments from various sources below on this vary issue. However, we continue to find any recommendation that suggests that physicians should limit physical examinations as an anathema. Also, suggesting that women, or patients in general, not be familiar with their own bodies is, in our belief, outside the mainstream of modern health thinking. Self examination is proper, useful and helpful to early detection. Proper physical examination by a physician or trained health professional is always appropriate. It would a shame to forgo the most respected and time tested traditions of medicine in a move to limit “anxiety” among patients. Anxiety is relieved by information. Making a diagnosis is never wrong. Patients can be counseled on options of treatment if and when a diagnosis is made. They can also be counseled on the options regarding diagnostic procedures. We believe, that in the end, doctors and their patients, together make the best decisions . . . obi jo and jomaxx

Between 1950 and the late 1980s, overall death rates from breast cancer were relatively stable, according to the ACS publication, Breast Cancer Facts & Figures 2001-2002. The death rates for breast cancer then began to fall, dropping by about 1.6% each year between 1989 and 1995. Between 1995 and 1998, the drop in the rates picked up speed, declining about 3.4% each year. Among the women screened with mammography during that time, deaths from breast cancer dropped by 63% compared to the 10 years before that when widespread mammography wasn’t available. Mammography makes such a large difference, notes Smith, because it can find tumors early when they are still small and more likely to be treated successfully. Smith says the present decline in breast cancer death rates can be expected to continue to accelerate, but only if mammography — and access to it — continue to improve. “There really is an enormous advantage to treating a tumor when it’s smaller,” notes Smith. “That’s really the bottom line.” …..

Breast Cancer Death Rates Continue to Decline: Mammography Is Key; Treatments and Awareness Credited, Too – http://www.cancer.org/docroot/NWS/content/NWS_1_1x_Breast_Cancer_Death_Rates_Continue_to_Decline.asp

American Cancer Society recommendations for early breast cancer detection
- Women age 40 and older should have a screening mammogram every year and should continue to do so for as long as they are in good health.

- Women in their 20s and 30s should have a clinical breast exam (CBE) as part of a periodic (regular) health exam by a health professional, at least every 3 years. After age 40, women should have a breast exam by a health professional every year.

- Breast self exam (BSE) is an option for women starting in their 20s. Women should be told about the benefits and limitations of BSE. Women should report any breast changes to their health professional right away.

- Women at high risk (greater than 20% lifetime risk) should get an MRI and a mammogram every year. Women at moderately increased risk (15% to 20% lifetime risk) should talk with their doctors about the benefits and limitations of adding MRI screening to their yearly mammogram. Yearly MRI screening is not recommended for women whose lifetime risk of breast cancer is less than 15%……

Can Breast Cancer Be Found Early? – http://www.cancer.org/docroot/CRI/content/CRI_2_4_3X_Can_breast_cancer_be_found_early_5.asp?rnav=cri

Bernadine Healy, first woman to head the agency, said lives could be at risk. The fallout from last week’s controversial recommendation that women delay the start of routine mammogram testing for breast cancer continues, with a former head of the U.S. National Institutes of Health advising women to ignore the guidelines. “I’m saying very powerfully ignore them, because unequivocally this will increase the number of women dying of breast cancer,” said Dr. Bernadine Healy, who was nominated to head the federal agency in 1991 by then-President George H.W. Bush. “Women in their 40s have a very aggressive kind of breast cancer. They tend to progress fast. And to not screen women in that age group is astounding to me, and it goes against the bulk of individuals who are actually caring for patients,” said Healy, the first woman to lead the National Institutes of Health and currently the health editor at U.S. News & World Report. She made her comments Sunday during an appearance on the TV news program Fox News Sunday. The controversial recommendation, released by an independent panel, said that women don’t need to start undergoing mammograms until age 50, and then only need one every other year. Long-standing guidelines have said women should have annual mammograms after age 40. The independent panel, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, said its recommendation was based on the latest and most accurate studies. Many women immediately wondered if the guidelines would affect their insurance coverage for the breast cancer tests…..

Women Should Ignore New Mammogram Guideline, Ex-NIH Chief Says – http://health.usnews.com/articles/health/healthday/2009/11/23/women-should-ignore-new-mammogram-guideline-ex.html

There has been a longstanding debate over the most appropriate age to begin mammography screening and the frequency of screening examinations. As with all screening tests, the decision to perform a mammogram must include an evaluation of the benefits and the risks of the screening tool, as well as a consideration of patient preference. The recent controversy about mammography should not suggest that there is debate about the most important issues. Most breast cancer experts agree far more than they disagree. For example, there is no debate that mammography reduces the risk of dying from breast cancer. As stated in the new USPSTF recommendations, extensive scientific evidence demonstrates that mammography reduces breast cancer mortality both among women aged 50 and older, as well as among women aged 40 to 49……

I recently learned of a friends baby being injured in an accident when he fell from his crib, after attempting to climb out of it.He is at that age where many babies under the age of two, become actively involved in dangerous behavior, because they do not know any better.

The child got twisted up in a bumper as he fell, and was left hanging from the side of it.

Luckily for him, it was under his arm and not his neck,so the injury was mild compared to what could have happened, but the fear that the mom experienced was terribly frightening.I could tell from her voice, as she told the whole story to me.

This got me to investigate the design of the crib, and I questioned how could it be improved,in order to prevent it from happening in the future,or should she just get a new crib,or step up to a day bed since he is getting bigger.

I am not an engineer, but I do like to build things and modify tools, in order to make them better, and I am sure that the people at the Consumer Product and Safety Commission ask themselves these questions every day, as they go about testing the reliability and safety for all consumer products on the market today. Babies need advocates like them looking after their safety.

There is no category that needs to be regulated more than the baby product category, given that the stakes are so high for mother’s and babies worldwide.

To that end, today comes a report from ABC News that The Consumer Product Safety Commission is expected to announce one of the largest crib recalls in history. The concern is over unsafe drop down sides on the cribs.

The recall involves cribs with drop down sides, because the CPSC said they can cause strangulation if a child gets stuck in a gap between the side rail and the headboard.

From CBS news.com comes this report….”Parents like the convenience of having the side drop down,” CPSC Chair Inez Tenenbaum said, adding the hardware used by many manufacturers to make the sides drop isn’t “substantial.”

Tenenbaum said that the commission has been relying on “voluntary standards” for crib safety, but that the group will now propose regulations.

“We find that is no longer enough. We will now be writing (proposing) federal regulations that are mandatory for cribs,” Tenenbaum said.

The CPSC suggests checking the hardware to see if it seems solid. Feel the side rail: If you can move it back and forth, that can be dangerous.

It points to potentially inadequate hardware and the potential for a gap opening. And the CPSC suggests parents stop using the side rail – do not put it up and down anymore.

The CPSC has recalled more than 5 million cribs in the last two years…

It is not yet known which models will be subject to recall.

This will be the largest recall in the United States ever, so chances are that many readers will own, or know of someone who owns a defective crib, and should be alerted.

Click on these news services for more information about the recall, and consult your local dealer if you think you own an affected crib…

I’ve finally submitted my third article at Alltern8 about LARPing and Dating. It’s a constant thing to hear people mention how they can never meet a significant other during a LARP. While I’ve seen it happen countless times! To open some eyes about scoring a date at a LARP I’ve written:

Article:

LARPing and Dating… Not a Myth

LARPing is a social event. I know! Can you believe it? Being a social event there tends to be some social interaction between people. Usually awkward, not looking in each other’s eyes, shifting your weight from feet to feet, and you can’t remember what you talked about after you walk away. Did I even introduce myself? What class is she?
Yup, that about covers a conversation between two people that are use to interacting with a screen between themselves and humanity. But you are subjecting yourself to actual social event outside of your basement so that alone is something to be proud of.
Most players when they think about the stress of carrying on a conversation do not even think of forming a relationship with someone unless they can call to trade Magic cards. Furthest from their mind is starting a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship.
And yet when guys gather around to plan an outing to the local LARP just the mention of lady LARPers have them cheering each other on, slapping each others back and drawing up intensive plans of who is wingman. But they are usually the first ones to mumble a hello and hightail it out of there to the first girl LARPer they come in contact with.
There are many girls out there that have the same reaction! We plan on meeting a lot of guys but it becomes overwhelming when we finally arrive to the camp. If you don’t have the confidence of a movie star the reactions you receive are intimidating enough to send anyone running for cover. And if you have the confidence to actually receive and handle the attention accordingly you become ‘untouchable’ by the guys who are nervous around confident girls and the stuck up princess to the rest.

Swinggcat has laughed real world seduction 2. I have read “Real World Seduction” and it is possibly the best book I have ever read with regard to picking up woman.

Lets just say that Swinggcat really does not disappoint with his latest book. His concepts of push-pull and prizability are so deadly that I reckon even some hunch back with 1 leg could pick up a girl using his technique.

Why is it so good? Human nature, people want to be wanted and when you immediately disqualify the girl and make out as if you are the prize, then pull her in, and push her away…. you will leave her completely hooked (or confused- which is a good thing) to the idea of wanting you.

The secret is that you apply to the girls “EGO”, she feels she has to get you to prove a point and the more you pull her in and push her away the more emotionally attached she gets. She invests emotions…. think about it, when people invest- they want to see a return!

Really this book is amazing. Get swinggcats book here

Interesting article I came across.

As the heading title says, there is ban on women wearing trousers in Paris, France. While not enforced it’s interesting that it technically still exists. The author of the article points out that in the strictest legal sense, Paris is stricter than Sudan.

It was introduced in the 1800 to stop women from dressing like men. It has survived many attempted to repeal it. There was a relaxation almost a hundred years later for women who were riding a horse. In the early 1900’s it was less strict that it allowed women to wear them if they were “on a bicycle or holding it by the handlebars”.

2003 was the latest attempt to get rid of this decree. The response from the person in charge of gender equality was that: “Disuse is sometimes more efficient than (state) intervention in adapting the law to changing mores.”

A question which I’m sure has occurred to many people is: why are there so few females on Power Socc

A question which I’m sure has occurred to many people is: why are there so few females on Power Soccer? How is it that this game is 96% male and 4% female and that finding a female who you can have a quality conversation with (in a language you speak) is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack?

Well here are my thoughts on the subject:

You’re all thinking of the obvious reason of football being a more male dominated sport and that sport in general is male dominated too. Well, yes it’s true, however this doesn’t mean that plenty of girls don’t play the sport too so the percentage of 96 to 4 seems a bit extreme and not compatible for this argument.

When it comes to online gaming the stats are around 50/50 between males and females so yes both genders are represented equally are you surprised?

However the 50/50 stats include ALL online games not just football sites. Games that are more pointed towards females and games that are made for both genders are also included.

So I decided to look into this further. By doing this I sent around emails to many different soccer sites (Such as Football Superstars and Hatrick) asking them to send me the statistics of female vs male participation on their sites and most of them replied telling me how the percentage of females was on average 5 %.

But to my surprise most of them pointed out something that I had noticed around power-soccer too and that was that many girls registered as males on the site and so for this reason the percentage was probably a lot bigger though statistically this wasn’t noted.

So why do females register as males? Is one of the reasons why football sites have a low female percentage because the females disguise themselves as males? And if so, why do they do this?

The answer to this question was voiced by a representative from one of the sites saying that: “I’m not too sure why. Perhaps it’s an idea they have that their opinions on a football game wouldn’t be seen as valid if not male.”

So there you go is this the reason of male domination on football sites because of the male attitude? Because males don’t take females seriously when it comes to soccer? Are males unintentionally prejudiced?

And is this the only reason females don’t own up to their gender maybe its also because of flirting, vulgar private messages, marriage proposals (nope, I’m not kidding) and being subjected to the mentality of female versus male or slightly misogynistic attitudes.

A female I met on this game who chose a name which could be perceived as male or female, told me she had made this new account to get away from it all and that it was so much easier to sail through power soccer with a multi gender name (as people naturally assumed you were male) then suffering from the trials of being female.

So don’t go into a match and naturally assume you’re playing a male. Don’t see a female who chose a feminine username and naturally assume she’s one of a kind or part of a nearly extinct species. More females would own up to their gender if they felt comfortable and included around the site. If they weren’t so intimidated and felt they wouldn’t be respected or that they would be prejudiced against maybe they would comment more in the forums.

So there you go, after a week of research these are the results I’ve come up with. But remember that this is only part of the factor of why girls are not more represented on this site. Other factors include that some girls don’t like football, some girls don’t like the gameplay and some are just not that interested.

To round it all up, one question comes to mind. Just how many girls are here playing this game as males?? Yep scary thought, huh?

As often happens at home (or work), I was on MySpace IM talking to a friend earlier this week. Our conversation started out innocently enough. (Note: the upcoming is paraphrased, due to lack of short-term memory)

Girl: Hey hun.

Petrie: Hey. How are you?

Until…

GIRL: Fine.

Shit, fan. Fan, shit.

What resulted was a firm, but honest diatribe from yours truly concerning the word ‘fine’ and its use among the female species. It sounds ridiculous until you remember one thing…

‘Fine’ *never* means fine.

GUYS: What happens when they use it

If a girl actually is fine, she will say something to the effect of ‘I’m OK,’ or ‘I’m alright,’ or ‘I’m good.’ If she says, ‘Fine,’ and you are a male, you have three courses of action…

Believe her and proceed in the conversation like nothing’s wrong

See through her and try to find out (and/or fix) what’s wrong

See through her and head for the fucking hills

Option 3 is quite unpopular. Option 2 is the right thing to do. Option 1 is the most common application in this situation, but I just can’t do it. When a girl says, ‘Fine,’ it pisses me off to no end.

GIRLS: What happens when you use it

This past summer, an attractive female friend and I consummated a high school crush on the floor of the bedroom of my high school ex-girlfriend (go here for another take on that. I’m linking this because, well, that’s the best cake I’ve ever seen). As with anything a human does that is considered taboo (in this case, the locale of consummation), I tried to rationalize why I would do this to someone I cared about and, once upon a time, maybe-kinda-sorta-totally puppy loved quite deeply. There were four obvious reasons:

We were drunk.

We were horny.

This was the first, and possibly only, chance…all of which led to

We didn’t care where we were.

Over a short period of time, I figured out a fifth — I was bitter. Not about the relationship itself, or what happened since, but how I felt while I was in it. It all boiled down to one thing, which always was accompanied by a scowl and a condescending tone…

‘Fine.’

The following is the intro to my just-published fake news article on Humor Volcano:

Recent population statistics have scared the pee out of Chinese government officials. The very fabric of Chinese society faces potential disaster because the male/female birthrate imbalance over the past 20 years has exploded into a current shortage of 32 million women. As that staggering penis-possessing population preponderance reaches reproductive age with no possibility of finding marriageable spouses, the resulting rampant unsatisfied horniness could lead these Chinese men into utter mayhem.

Indeed, keeping those 32 million hopelessly single men from going berserk and destroying the country from within is the Chinese government’s most urgent problem. As a result, several proposals, all controversial and previously considered unthinkable, now seem nearly certain to gain legal sanction in order to ward off such penis-led madness.

According to the Chinese Copulation Control Council….
