Seeing that the world of blogging is completely new to us and we’ve only been able to view a few blogs, we’ve decided to create one of the strangest first posts you may ever see. If you’re critical, notice things about WordPress, or have any other quirk, you may have noticed that WordPress has already made a first post for us. However, it is now in the digital recycling bin, waiting to be recreated on some other person’s new blog.

We’ve decided to come up with a list of things a person who wants to become a member of Not Steve should know, be a fan of, like the humor in, or simply just loves how it sounds. Well, what are you waiting for? Here is the list we have compiled:

1. At some point in your life, you have picked up an old cassette, record, or CD and listened to it, even if the band on the cover wasn’t good or you hadn’t heard of. Simply, you did it for the experience.

2. You have a love for whipped cream (yes, we know, we know, we don’t mean it that way). It makes it even better if you have previously walked past the refrigerator and poured it in your mouth. What makes it even better is if you have gotten caught doing so.

3. You have and frequently do, or once you read this will start, used the term, “Ferb, you know what we’re going to do today.” Credit goes to my friend, Anna, for that one.

4. You are aware that, although you look foolish, jumping is terrific fun. Whether it’s on a trampoline, during jump rope, or “dancing”, you know that jumping is a terrific way to act like an idiot and burn calories at the same time.

5. You love crepes and or key lime pie.

6. You play an instrument. No, singing does not count (this is targeted to 11-13 year old girls who think that singing is an instrument (it isn’t).

Hi Guys,its Mets here. I will be posting updates about once a month here,as well as Graphics. I may do a Special New Year’s Day Header,but I need some ideas. So,please help by pitching your ideas as comments below.  Now back to Poptropica. There are two new ads on Poptropica. The First one is Night at the Museum. When I first saw the Ad,I was thinking “What the Heck could they possibly have me do. Well,they wanted me to find a Dinosaur’s bones in 60 seconds. Then,they wanted me to reassemble it!!!! Major UGH!!! But,I was able to do it anyway. Here is the Costume I got as a reward:

Pretty sweet Costume huh? Well,if you think thats cool,wait to you hear about the Phineas and Ferb Ad!!! It is Poptropica’s second Christmas Ad,and It’s still Thanksgiving!!! (Oh yeah,Happy Thanksgiving xD). Anyways,the Phineas and Ferb Ad requires you to organize Santa’s gifts by Country. The Countries are Brazil,Canada,France and The USA.  They gave me a free sleigh and a Cool Costume for Savin Christmas (I’d ask for more,but I’m not THAT greedy xD). Here is a picture of the Sleigh:

Hi Guys,its Mets here. First off,I just wanna wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. The Creators have been more active lately,as some of us already noticed. Anyways,there are two New Ads On Poptropica. One is for Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian. Here is a screenshot of when you first walk in:

Yes,I got my poptropican ready for Christmas. The items are from the Phineas and Ferb ad,which I’ll get to later. Back to The Night at the Museum Ad. These Crazy people want you to reassemble a Dinosaur!!! I’m not in a mood to get eaten by a Tyranosaurus Rex…First though,you have to find the bones in 60 seconds. Took me three tries to get this one! But anyway,I still got the Reward… A security guard suit!!

Once you finish that,you can start the Phineas and Ferb Ad. You have to sort the Items in order by Country for Santa. This one is easier. I personally like The Phineas and Ferb Ad better because it has better prizes xD. Once you’re done with the Phineas and Ferb Ad, You get to take a ride on Santa’s Sleigh WHENEVER you want. Abram: Hey guys. I’m here with a quick update. I am now the host of my very own game show, BING!!!!!. You can become a contestant on BING! by going to the PHF Chat when I am on and saying I wanna play. You get points by answering the question correctly first. Phineas & Ferb

From the Disney Channel/Disney XD cartoon of the same name, we present your first look at the meet and greet characters of Phineas and Ferb!

The duo made their debut at Disneyland in California in 2009 for the taping of the Christmas parade, and also appeared at a media event at the Magic Kingdom in Florida.

We have no word on when or if they will be out in the parks to meet and greet, but we’d expect it will be coming soon!

The problem when you’re me, is that:

Anyway, to be totally honest, when you’re a shock jock like me, you can say “been there; done that; got the tee shirt” for a lot of different things.
You see, when I was young, I drew up a “to do” list, and I basically strategically executed everything on that list!

So like I told all earlier, I was inspired from the Phineas & Ferb opening sequence:

• Fighting a mommy

• Discovering something that doesn’t exist
• Giving a monkey a shower

So translating that to Jeremy language, this would mean:

As with many TV shows you expect if a game comes out it will be as much fun as the show. In this case my 7 year old is having a lot of fun with this game. My 10 year old picked it up and played it as well but didn’t like it quite as much. At his age he is more likely to play rockband and other games but my 7 year old is enjoying this game. She has had it for 6 weeks or so and hasn’t bored of it yet, a big concern as it seems like games go “stale” fast.

Nhiều người chọn thời điểm đầu tháng – ngày 1/3 để viết entry, tổng kết tháng cũ và nêu những dự định cho tháng mới. Tôi lẽ ra cũng sẽ là vậy nếu những cảm hứng viết lách không chợt đến rồi lại chợt đi. Lắm lúc có 1 sự vịec hay hay, thế là hăm hở vào blog viết, cơ mà viết được dăm ba câu thì cái cảm hứng đấy lại chợt bay mất, cố thì vẫn có thể nhưng sao lại phải cố mà viết ra những thứ chính mình cũng ko ưng ý ? Nhưng chợt nhớ ra hôm nay là kỉ niệm sinh nhật 4 năm mình có ADSL nên đành tức cảnh sinh tình, viết vài dòng chơi.

Tháng 2 vừa rồi có lẽ là 1 tháng dài, chưa biết nó dài nhất trong năm không nhưng tôi nghĩ là nó cũng dài kha khá rồi. Đọc đến đây tôi nghĩ là có người sẽ thắc mắc tại sao nó dài, tôi xin trả lời là khi mà bạn vật vờ trong các suy nghĩ, chả biết mình nên làm gì, phải làm gì thì 1 ngày sẽ rát dài và thực sự là vô ích. Đấy là 1 tháng khó khăn với tôi, lạc lối trong các suy nghĩ, miên man tơ tưởng đến những chân trời đẹp đẽ cách xa vạn dặm, rồi có lúc giật mình nhận ra/thoát khỏi những suy nghĩ/tơ tưởng viển vông đấy để đối mặt với sự thật. Nhưng cũng thật mừng là những ngày cuối tháng, khi mà nhiều điều quái gở diễn ra thì mặc dù fải đối mặt tương đối khó khăn nhưng cũng làm nó trôi thật nhanh.

Đơn cử như cái việc net nhà tôi đợt vừa rồi gặp vấn đề. Cứ 3s thì tôi lại bị out 1 lần, có lúc nào đấy stable hơn 1 tí thì nửa tiếng mới dis rồi lại quay lại chu kì 3s dis 1 lần. Điên tiết tôi mới gọi đến FPT Adsl Service Center để được hỗ trợ và mặc dù đã rất cố gắng nhưng cuối cùng thì anh Suppporter vẫn phải nói với tôi rằng là:

- Em nên thay cái adsl cũ đi, ngừoi ta dùng 1,5 năm – 2 năm là tiêu rồi, em đằng này dùng đến gần 4 năm….
- Có chắc là lỗi của modem không anh nhỉ
- Anh chắc chắn đấy. Mà mua modem mới thì mua của Zoom ý.

Điều đầu tiên khi nghe cái đoạn đối thoại trên là trong đầu tôi nó nảy lên 1 số suy nghĩ :

- Modem ADSL = tiền $$$
- Zoom modem = rất nhiều tiền $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Cơ mà sau rất nhiều nỗ lực để hòng mua được 1 con modem giá cả hợp lý bất thành thì tôi đành phải bỏ ra 700k để mà tậu 1 con LinkSys về. Phải nói thật là tuy giá có cao nhưng thôi tìh đây cũng là cái nhu cầu thiét yếu, với lại cũng được trợ cấp đến 600k rồi nên tôi cũng không lấy gì làm fiền lòng cho lắm. Đằng nào thì cái gì cũgg có tuổi thọ của nó, em Zyxel đi theo tôi từ ngày này 4 năm trước. Đấy chính là những ngày đầu tiên tôi có ADSL từ thời đầu tiên ADSL đc trỉên khai đại chúng, tôi nhớ rất kỹ là đúng ngày 03-02-2005 thì tôi được lắp mạng. Thôi thì em ý mất vài ngày trước sinh nhật lần thứ 4 thì cũng là cả 1 cố gắng to béo rồi.

*** Trong 2 ngày mạng nhà tôi có vấn đề và chưa đc giải quyết thì cũng có rất nhiều ý kiến bức xúc xung quanh vụ ADSL của FPT. Đơn cử như 1 cựu thành viên trong HDVD Clan khi thấy tôi treo stt FPT ADSL Sucks thì cũng đã lao vào chia sẻ :

Tổ sư bọn FPT ADSL. Mà con bà nó chứ, cái thằng Supporter bảo đến từ 9h mà bây h 11h chưa đến là sao ???

Đúng lúc anh supporter ngồi vào máy tôi thì YM vẫn chưa bị out hẳn. Không biết anh có nhìn thấy không nhưng mà tôi hết chào, rồi lại cảm ơn anh ý thì anh ý không thèm đáp lại câu nào.

Kể xong chuyện tháng cũ thì tôi lại bắt đầu nghĩ về tháng mới. Theo như dự tính sơ bộ của tôi thì trong tháng 3 sẽ có vài ngày mà tôi phải đặc biệt quan tâm.

- Tháng 3 sẽ có ngày 8/3 vô cùng đặc biệt. Tôi nhớ là tôi chưa bao h tặng hoa, quà 8/3 cho em cả. Không hiểu vì lí do gì, nhưng sự thực thì chưa. Năm nay em về đúng đợt này, tôi cũng đã có ý định từ trước nhưng đến thời điẻm này thì lại chưa nghĩ ra cái gì. Sẽ không phải là 1 vấn đề đơn giản, nhưng tôi nghĩ là tôi sẽ có thể giải quyết được.

Có 1 điều lạ, tương đối khó hiểu là : Với 1 vài người con gái tôi quen khác ( hay còn gọi là tình yêu trên môi ) thì tôi hòan toà
n có thể nghĩ ra 1 cái gì đấy để mà làm họ thích nó đến điên lên (tất nhiên là không phải hoàn toàn lúc nào cũng thế ^^). Nhưng với em (hay còn gọi là tình yêu trong tim) – người mà tôi có thể tự tin nói rằng tôi rất hiểu thì lại khác. Tôi luôn rất khó để nghĩ ra em thích cái gì? Và tôi có làm được không ?
Luôn là 1 cám giác thiếu thiếu, chưa đủ, chưa làm tôi thật yên lòng khi tặng quà em. Cứ khi nào tặng xong, về năm nghĩ lại thì tôi lại thấy mình thật ngốc khi ko cố thêm cái này 1 tí, cái kia 1 tí. Nhưng tôi nghĩ là năm nay sẽ khác, mọi thứ sẽ đơn giản, hợp lý và nhẹ nhàng thôi. Chắc chắn là như vậy.

- Ngòai ra thì có lẽ là tuấn sau – 1 HDVDer từ Sing sẽ trở về nhập hội. Chắc chắn sẽ có nhiều cuộc tụ tập ăn chơi. Cũng rất đáng để lưu tâm đấy, lưu tâm về nhiều mặt, nhất là túi tiền, ngân lượng…

P/s : mà tôi quên béng mất là Miki sấu shí hôm qua vừa mới nhảy vào đòi tôi chuẩn bị cái gì để tặng ả nhân 8/3. Ôi thật là đau đầu !!!

I heard (just a rumour) that Disney were bringing out a Phineas and Ferb game! Apparently, it will be out for the Nintendo DS and you will be able to play as Perry the Platypus and stop Dr. Doofensmirtz (bad spellling) in missions in the game! Also, you can play as Candace, Phineas and Ferb. Candace has to stop her brothers from building another weird crazy thing by racing Mum home. As Phineas and/or Ferb, you build the things in mini-games! Just an awesome rumour that I heard and thought I had to share it with you guys! This is probably a load of rubbish, but I thought it could be awesome. If your viewing this site, Jeff ‘Swampy’ Marsh or Dan Povenmire, be sure to get the idea into your head!

     Let me start by saying I don’t enjoy Halloween.  I have always been afraid of the dark, and as a kid, going door-to-door in the pitch-black made me nervous.  After a run-in with a live person posing as a dead one, then springing to life in front of me while I reached out to ring a doorbell, THEN having my dad yell at me because I was too terrified to leave the safety of his side, I am officially a Halloween scrooge.  (You’d think after 25 years those scars would fade a little bit, but YOU’D BE WRONG.)  It wasn’t long after that experience that I opted to stay home with my mom and hand out the candy.  Besides, ten years old is waaaaay too old to be dressing up and going out, right?

     Right.

     I’ve decided that Halloween is like Christmas, with all the preparation, anticipation and stress, but it’s over in one night.  One very long, stressful night.  You can drag Christmas out until New Year’s, but come November 1, all the Halloween hoo-hah has to be packed up and put away.  This year I didn’t even break open my crates of Halloween stuff.  I put my wooden witch on the front door and swapped a candy-corn tablecloth for the regular blue one, and called it good.  Oh, and last week when I was cleaning out the garage, I put out my trio of ghost ground-stakes.  I felt totally “decorated”.  (My poor kids.  They deserve so much more.)

     I think a lot of my dislike for the holiday stems from the stress (did I mention that already?) it causes a parent.  Since having school-age children, I feel like I “do” Halloween all day.  There’s the rush to get them fed, costumed and off to school, the school parade, the class parties, a short nap for the younger siblings, the after-school pickup, changing out of costumes, carving pumpkins (I always have to clean them while Kenny carves them), feeding kids dinner (who are so excited to go trick-or-treating they are actually levitating two feet above the chairs they should be sitting on!), getting them back in costumes, taking pictures, handing out candy to the kids whose parents started early, FINALLY getting my adorable (albeit grumpy) offspring on their way to candy heaven, getting them home, showered, and ready for bed, sorting through four bags of candy, hearing cries of, “Just one piece tonight?  PLEASE?” (which turn into two, three, four…  or TEN), and the ultimate bedtime struggle between an exhausted parent and her sugar-overdosed little monsters.

     I am already exhausted.

     This year worked out a little differently, though.  Today the teachers got a prep day to get ready for next week’s parent/teacher conferences, so we celebrated Halloween at school yesterday, and the kids enjoyed a school vacation on Halloween day.  (I’ve lived in Utah for 32 years, and this is the first year that’s EVER happened.  I sure hope it’s not the last!  It was a win-win for everyone.) 

     The only downfall to dressing up two days is… well… dressing up for two days.  Poor Alex had neon-green hair, and if it hadn’t flaked off so much on the upholstery, I’d have let him keep it for today.  As it turned out, the hair spray didn’t stick to the hair very well until it was wet and soapy, and then it became glue.  It took four shampoos to get the majority of it out, and poor Alex still had patches of green scalp.  Did that prevent him from wanting green hair again tonight?  You’d better believe it DIDN’T.  Because, when you’re nine, brightly-colored hair is AWESOME.

     We painted pumpkins last night (something we learned from sheer desperation last year, when time to carve was severely limited), and wouldn’t you know?   The kids actually seem to prefer it over carving, because they get to do something more than say, “This kind of eyes, that kind of mouth”.  The results aren’t quite the same, but they’re still proud of their pumpkins.  We also had our traditional “Mummy Dog Dinner”, which is nothing more than hot dogs wrapped in refrigerated breadstick dough and french fries, but the way the kids carried on, you’d have thought I served them Beef Wellington or something equally fancy.  To wrap things up, we ate ghost brownies and watched a Food Network Challenge about pumpkin carving.

     In keeping with the coolest parent in the world thing (except for Halloween spirit and decorating for the holiday), we went to the zoo today with my sister, my niece and my parents.  I was really hesitant because I was sure it would be swamped on Halloween, especially with most of the school district out for the prep day, but as it turns out, PEOPLE DON’T GO TO THE ZOO ON HALLOWEEN.  It was beautiful weather:  70 degrees and cloudy, with a very slight breeze.  The animals were lively, the zoo was empty, and the kids got to see a lot of animal feedings.  I think they enjoyed the penguins best.  Those little birds can swallow fish whole, and seeing them dive into the pool after a handful of freshly-flung fish was enough to make all of us giggle.  (Not unlike mummy-dog night at our house…) 

     After the zoo, we came home for a quick nap before donning costumes and heading out for some trick-or-treating.

     Sleeping in, no school, quiet zoo, naps…  now THAT’S a Halloween day I can get behind.
