The United manager, who has found himself in trouble domestically for criticising match officials this season, is running out of patience after claiming it was the second successive game in Europe that United have been denied a penalty.

“That’s two games in a row we’ve been denied a stonewall penalty in Europe,” said Ferguson.

“It’s not in the spirit of the game, but what can you do? “If you can’t give these kicks then the game is in trouble.”

Asked whether he still stood by his view, which he aired earlier this season, that the standard of refereeing in Europe is better than in England, he replied: “I’m not going into that. No comment.”

Ferguson refused to criticise his young players afterwards as a United side made up of youth and experience suffered an unexpected setback which leaves them with work to do to secure top spot in Group B.

They must avoid defeat in their final game in Germany against Wolfsburg on December 8, but Ferguson refused to divulge what sort of side he will field for that fixture.

England striker Wayne Rooney was given a rare night off against Besiktas while the likes of Michael Owen, Michael Carrick, Paul Scholes and Darren Fletcher started on the bench.

The tactic backfired as Besiktas’s experience proved enough to secure a victory that will give United’s Champions League rivals encouragement.

Yet Ferguson declined to lay the blame at the feet of his youngsters. Danny Welbeck, who turns 19 on Thursday, started his first Champions League game for the club alongside 19-year-old Federico Macheda in attack.

“You need a bit of composute in the last third, but the young players were a bit anxious. It’s understandable,” added Ferguson.

“It’s not the biggest fault in the world.

“You have to be fair in terms of assessing the players we’re playing in these games at the moment.

“The fact we play them tells you how much we value them. The one thing we can give them is experience.”

Ferguson also refused to criticise keeper Ben Foster. The England international was beaten by a long-range effort by Rodrigo Tello which took a deflection.

“It was proably going a foot to his right hand side. It was a wicked deflection,” said Ferguson.

“I think he would have (saved it if it had not taken a deflection).”

Besiktas coach Mustafa Denizli saluted his players for an historic victory for Turkish football.

“To come to Manchester United and play at Old Trafford, we know it’s very difficult to win games here,” said Denizli.

“We’re obviously very pleased with the result. The whole world knows what a big team United is.

Description (page 121)

If you are interested in any of these files then please contact the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick.

“The documents in this series were kept by two brothers, William Henry Street and John Ambrose Sherman Street, who were born in Burton, Sunbury County, the sons of Hon. Samuel Deny Street and Abigail Freeman. They were educated at public schools in Burton and Fredericton.

William Henry Street was born April 11, 1793. After completing his education, he engaged in the mercantile business in Saint John. He was twice mayor of Saint John (1835-1836 and 1848-1849) and served in the militia. In the General Election of 1842, he ran for Saint John City and, after protest, was awarded the seat. He sat until the dissolution of the House in 1846 when he retired from politics. W.H. Street was married twice: in 1824 to Mary Bruce, and in 1847 to Sarah Boyd Orr. He died in Saint John on April 4, 1875.

John Ambrose Sherman Street was born September 22, 1795. He studied in his father’s law office and was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar on February 22, 1817. He practiced law at Chatham, Northumberland County, and in 1823 married Jane Isabella Hubbard. He was elected to the Assembly as a Conservative member for Northumberland County at a by-election in 1833. He sat in the House almost continuously until his defeat in 1856. He then moved to Fredericton and unsuccessfully ran for York County in 1861 and 1865. He was made a member of the Executive Council in 1851, and served as Attorney-General until 1854. He died in 1865.

The Street Records pertain to the legal and business affairs of the brothers. The material is catalogued alphabetically according to client’s name. The types of documents found here include: indentures, deeds, declarations, bonds, assignments, correspondence, and leases. The material dates from 1812 to 1863. This series measures 9 centimeters.

I recently came across the online genealogy tool, Geni.com and I’m hooked. Geni.com let’

I recently came across the online genealogy tool, Geni.com and I’m hooked.

Geni.com let’s you create a private online tree (you must be a member of Geni.com and have been invited – the default is that you be a family member – to view a given tree). You can manually enter your tree or start it by uploading a GEDCOM file.

Geni’s features foster family connectedness – there is a discussion forum, internal e-mail, special event reminders, an address book, and places to post photos and video. One feature I find quite interesting is Statistics which allows you to see, for example, how long your relatives have lived on average, where most were born, etc.

Geni is also interactive so there can be organic sharing of information.

Anyway, larger than the fun of its individual features is the potential that Geni.com represents for Grenadian genealogical research. Since Geni automatically shows you potential duplicate individuals in other trees, allows you to search its databases for potential matches and lets you link (with their agreement) to related trees, it presents the potential of mapping the whole island of Grenada.

As I dig further in my research, I become more and more certain that almost all Grenadians are somehow related. Geni.com could allow us to not only quickly fill in the blanks in our own trees but map Grenada.

So far, some Grenadian families are taking advantage of Geni. I’ve found trees that contain the following names so far:

BUCKMIRE

BAIN

BULLEN

CHARLES

FERGUSON

GLEAN

HOSTEN

HUGHES

NECKLES

LA GRENADE

MASON

MATHLIN

PREUDHOMME

RAPIER

Takie urządzenie zwykle kupujemy do odtwarzania materiału HD (720p) i FullHD (1080p). Zwykle materiał ten przychodzi w kontenerze Matroska (mkv). Taki też materiał użyłem do testów.

Odtwarza Matroski z możliwością zmiany języka napisów i języka ścieżki dźwiękowej.

HDMI 1.3 z HDCP.

Coaxial i Optical Audio Out.

Obsługuje systemy plików NTFS i Ext3.

Zdjęcia:

Konkluzja:

Owh, what a sad thing to watch Man U lose to Chelsea by a goal which shouldnt be allowed.. even afte

Owh, what a sad thing to watch Man U lose to Chelsea by a goal which shouldnt be allowed.. even after conquering the match on the 2nd half, but still the much needed goal was out of sight.. hmm.. owh well, we still have a long season to enjoy. Glory glory Man United!!

Nevertheless, Ferguson had only himself to blame after tactical mistakes were made against such quality team. How can he possibly put anderson against Chelsea knowing that he cannot perform above par?? Cant he remember when IT WAS ANDERSON’S FAULT for the 1st goal they conceeded against Barcelona and how badly he played against big teams? Thus, when I saw the formation and the line up Ferguson used against Chels, deep down I knew there would be a big problem in midfield and it was proven indeed. Man U was catching Chelsea’s shadow in the 1st half especially in midfield (with anderson at fault of course) and Giggs was not at his best (he performed very well in this season, thumbs up to him!). Valencia also looks like he didnt know what to do to break chelsea’s wall. In 2nd half, they increased their tempo and started to attack but yet, no goal until the controversy goal scored by anelka(originally claimed by John Terry).

What was driving me mad was when he took until the 85th minutes to put Owen in. Owh man, Owen should has been in starting line up or at the very least, at the start of 2nd half. A man with pace and good reading of the game, equipped with deadly finish inside penalty box, Owen is the predator Man U need to put the ball behind Cech. I bet most of us still remember the cool finishing that end up to be the winning goal for Man U against man city; scored by him. Ferguson should start to put more faith in players that he signed, Owen(awesome goalscorer) and Obertan(he was fast!!).

Not to worry or anything, let us enjoy a season of entertaining football…

A világ második legjobban kereső edzője, a napokban 150 meccsen át tartó veretlenségi sorozatot felállító José Mourinho az Internazionale vezetőedzője, aki évente 11,3 millió eurót keres.

Scolari. Nem aggódik a gázszámláért, de rá is szolgált!

A képzeletbeli pódium harmadik helyén Anglia jelenlegi szövetségi kapitánya, Fabio Capello áll 8,8 millió eurós évi bevétellel. Őt követi a Manchester United szupermenedzsere, Sir Alex Ferguson – a skót születésű mester 7,6 milliót kap évente.

Robbie Williams rejoining Take That aside, there’s some other new at that camp. Mark Owen, the original heartthrob, has finally tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend and best friend Emma Ferguson. “The bride wore a long, white, beaded, V-neck 1920s gown and embroidered vintage veil. Her bridesmaids were also in white 1920s-style beaded dresses. Fellow band mates Gary, Howard and Jason flew to Scotland on a 17 seater Lear Jet to attend the festivities. Robbie was said to have been arriving by private jet. Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow were also said to be guests of the couple. Mark and Emma already have two children together, three-year-old Elwood Jack and one-year-old Willow Rose.”

“Charles Sidney Burpee was born in Sheffield, Sunbury County, New Brunswick, on June 18, 1817, the son of Jeremiah Burpee and Elizabeth Stickney. He was educated at the common school in Sheffield, and eventually became a farmer. He was married twice: first to Mary Perley and then to Charlotte H. Perley.

He unsuccessfully contested the Sunbury County seat for the House of Assembly in 1854. In 1867, he was elected to the House of Commons as a member of the Liberal Party for Sunbury County. He was re-elected in 1872, 1874, 1878, and 1882. At the General Election of 1887, he was defeated and retired from active politics. In 1900, Burpe was made a member of the Senate of Canada, and sat until his resignation to become Commissioner to the Paris Exposition. Burpee died November 29, 1909, at Sheffield. He was survived by two sons.

The Burpee Papers, which date from 1814 to 1949, are largely made up of Charles Burpee’s correspondence in which political discussions play a major role. A great deal of information on Sunbury County matters and personalities can also be found in the letters. Material, which is not correspondence, is found at the end of the collection, and includes legal papers, notes for speeches, and general information on the Burpee family. The series measures 13 centimeters.”
