Well, about time we say because it’s been quite a large gap between the Enzo and this. Of course, that may be explained by the fact that they did the 458 as well, or that they’ve been going bonkers in such a long time.

It will presumably be called the F70 (the Enzo was actually called the F60 but in order to celebrate Ferrari’s 60 years anniversary, it received the founder’s name). You might remember my last article about the rumours of Ferrari developing turbocharging and it seems I guessed right, the new limited edition model might just receive a twin-turbo V8, or a natural aspirated V10, or anything in fact. We don’t know, it’s all a guess at best.

As Ferrari usually do, they take their last edition limited edition model (Enzo here), and make a mad, ready for the track version of it (FXX here) and then they make better what they could make better, throw in a bit of F1 technology and there you are – the new model arrives. So normally the new F70 should get FXX bits and F1 technology and the new turbo system perhaps.

But what Ferrari are trying to do now is keep the weight down, they don’t want to have a million horsepower engine with 2 tons of car. The new engine is expected to produce as much power as the Enzo but with a new body weighing only 1000kg. That means a power to weight ratio of more than 600hp/tonne. That’s more than a Bugatti Veyron. Another reason for concentration on reducing weight is CO2, see the Italian car company wants to reduce the CO2 output on its vehicles.

Now that is great news, so climb out of your Priuses eco-mentalists and get the new limited edition rampaging stallion. Well, probably not, as they will only make 399 and you can’t just go to the factory and say I want one, you have to be invited by Ferrari.

1. Bugatti Veyron, $1.7 million

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is the most powerful, most expensive and fastest street-legal production car in the world, with a proven top speed of over 400 km/h (407 km/h or 253 mph). It reached full production in September 2005. The car is built by Volkswagen AG subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS and sold under Bugatti marquee. It is named after racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti firm.

2. Ferrari Enzo, $1 million

The Ferrari Enzo is a 12-cylinder Ferrari supercar named after the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari. It was built in 2003 using Formula One technology, such as a carbon-fiber body, F1-style sequential shift transmission, and carbon-ceramic brake discs. Also used are technologies not allowed in F1 such as active aerodynamics. After a downforce of 775 kg (1709 lb) is reached at 300 km/h (186 mph) the rear wing is actuated by computer to maintain that down force.
Motor Trend Classic named the Enzo as number four in their list of the ten “Greatest Ferraris of all time”.

3. Pagani Zonda C12, $741,000

The Pagani Zonda is a mid-engined sports car produced by Pagani in Italy. It debuted in 1999 and continues through the present, with production proceeding at roughly 10 cars per year. As of April, 2008, 91 Zondas had been built. Both 2-seat coupe and convertible versions have been produced. Construction is mainly of carbon fiber.
Some early Zonda engineering was done by Formula One champion, Juan Manuel Fangio. The car was originally to be named for him, the “Fangio F1″, but the name was changed upon his death in 1995, renamed after an air current above Argentina.

4. Koenigsegg CCX, $600,910

The Koenigsegg CCX is a supercar from Swedish car manufacturer Koenigsegg, to replace the Koenigsegg CCR. CCX is an abbreviation for Competition Coupe X, the X commemorates the 10th anniversary of the completion and test drive of the first CC vehicle in 1996. The CCX is intended to be suitable for the United States market and thus engineered to comply with US regulations. A base model CCX costs approximately US$ 540 000 (€ 395 000) but with all optional extras the car costs US$600 000 (€440 000).

5. Porsche Carrera GT, $484,000

The Porsche Carrera GT is a supercar, manufactured by Porsche of Germany. The Carrera GT is powered by an all-new 5.7 litre V10 engine producing 612 SAE horsepower (450 kW). Porsche claims it will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62.5 mph) in 3.9 seconds and has a maximum speed of 330 km/h (206 mph), although road tests indicated that in actuality the car could accelerate from 0-60 in under 3.5 seconds and to 0-100 in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 335-340km/h (209-212.5mph).

With the Lamborghini Murcielago now dead, Lamborghini is working on a successor, known as the Jota. Rumours indicate that they’re also working on a range topping model known as the Urus.

The Urus will be built to compete with Ferrari’s upcoming Enzo successor, called the FX70. It will use a modified version of the Jota’s chassis, which is made of carbon-fibre. The body will be made completely out of carbon fibre and will have active aerodynamics. The engine will be the same one to be used in the Jota, a 6.0L V12, but while the Jota’s will have around 700hp, the Urus’ will be pumped up to an impressive 800hp. These kind of specs mean that the Urus may be able to finish the 0-100kph sprint in under 3 seconds. That’s a figure very few cars out there are capable of.

These specs probably mean an enormous price tag as well. Carbon fibre body, carbon fibre chassis and an enormous 800hp engine aren’t exactly cheap parts. The Jota is expected to debut some time next year, which the Urus should make its debut the year after, and go on sale in 2012.

We know pink is the favourable colour among girls, 6 and above! But honestly does it have to be sooo much that is looks like Barbie, her dog and her friends all threw up on the stuff. I googled ‘pink cars’ and was shocked at all the different varieties of pink colour used to emasculate these already gorgeous cars! I’d be very surprised if an Audi dealer in Hampshire would authorise a paint job. Pink trims and embellishments are ok, but to suffocate the poor car L now that’s just mean!

Human nature is a funny thing. People want to blend in but at the same time be unique and a little different from everybody else. Sure, everyone drives a Fiat 500 but no one wants to have his or her car looking exactly like the next door neighbor’s Fiat 500. Hence, enter the car modification shops or car tuners which will turn a even a humdrum Suzuki Alto to a sexy screaming street machine. Everyone has seen the MTV show and all it’s variants on cable in other channels, so everyone knows that modifying or tuning is THE thing to do to a car to personalize it.

There are several ways to go about in modifying and personalizing a car. One way is by making it a paper tiger car, a car that is all flash with its wicked air dams, rear air spoilers and fancy paint job but still has the heart and soul of an everyday commuter car. This is the kind of car that attracts attention by mimicking a Lamborghini Countach but is still a homely Toyota Camry at heart.

Then, there’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing kind of modified car. Unsuspecting show offs will taunt it at traffic lights and think they can out run it with their prepped Honda Civics. Tough luck. A car looking plain on the outside but has all the performance parts hidden neatly away under the hood will own almost anything else on the streets, except of course if it’s a Pagani Zonda or a Ferrari Enzo.

These “wolf in a sheep’s clothing” kind of modified cars have all the performance parts imaginable inside, from  brake kits, HRE rims, K&N Intakes, Kelford camshafts, Larini strut braces, Techart wheels, Tein coilovers and everything else to make a car zip like a bat out of hell and handle properly. Then finally, there is the ultimate modified car. The street fighter. It looks mean, and goes really fast, and has the audio system not all unlike the ones used in mega rock concerts.

From a simple personalized paint job to a fancy and total overhaul of a car, modifying a car is no different from choosing drapes for the kitchen or buying a new cell phone case to match the color of one’s favorite shirt. In a word, it’s all about personalizing something to be unique and different.

Lee Noble, the founder of Noble, has announced plans to make a closed-roof, mid-engined two seat supercar with 650hp and a price tag of less than 100,000 British Pounds (Around 165,000 USD).

He sold Noble back in 2006, and now he’s embarking on this project. The car will be built in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, by the same people who built the Noble M12.

He hasn’t revealed any names yet, but there are plenty of details on the car. The car will use a petrol engine and have all-round double wishbone suspension with steel brakes (No ABS as befits a proper driver’s car) and a space frame chassis. The engine will have eight cylinders and between 400 and 650hp, “depending on how much money the customer wants to spend”. It will use the same six-speed Graziano manual used in the Noble M600, and the weight should be around 1200 kilos. Base price will be 70,000 British Pounds (Roughly 115,000 USD) and the high-end models shouldn’t cost more than 100,000  (About 165,000 USD as stated earlier).

He’s promising Ferrari Enzo performance for this price, really looking forward to it.  No more than 100 will be produced each year though.

Pois seus problemas acabaram pode parar de sofrer!! Vivienzinha aqui tem a solução dos seus problemas (ou não). Depois de pensar, pensar, pensar mais um pouco, vi que o sexo faz parte de quase tudo na nossa vida e nosso dia-a-dia, portanto nada melhor do que falar de duas coisas tão legais e que sim, podem ser apreciadas juntas: sexo e carros.

Ahh, não vou citar NENHUMA experiência minha… Até porque praticamente não tenho histórias sobre esse tema pra contar e porque sou muito tímida (e porque se meu namorado ler alguma coisa aqui ele me mata).

Então vamos lá… Começando pelos carros que definitivamente não foram fabricados pra isso, portanto, se você possuir algun desses, crie vergonha na sua cara e PAGUE UM MOTEL!

Ford Ka.

Não, eu não odeio Ford Ka, eu simplesmente não compraria um carro desses com meu dinheiro (mas se alguém quiser me dar de presente, tô aceitando), mas não é preciso ser nenhum gênio ou engenheiro automotivo pra saber que deve ser pratica e humanamente impossível fazer sexo dentro desse carro. O Ford Ka (acredito eu), foi desenhado pra pessoas que o usariam unica e exclusivamente para trabalhar, por que NINGUÉM merece viajar no banco de trás daquele nave espacial, ovomóvel, e outros adjetivos carinhosos que não vem ao caso para não ofender os felizes proprietários automóvel.

Gente… Nem o Nelson Ned consegue dar umazinha nesse carro… Pelamordedeus!! Os bancos da frente são estreitos e os de trás… Bem, não preciso nem falar nada!

Renault Clio

Bom… Eu acho o Clio um carro até simpático, mas ele entra na galeria dos carros que eu nunca compraria por outros motivos, mecânica e lataria e ele também entra nessa lista. Por quê? Porque os nossos colegas franceses pensaram em quase tudo, menos na vida sexual dos infelizes proprietários. Como alguém consegue dar uma sem adquirir uma bela dor nas costas? Se alguém já conseguiu e saiu sem traumas físicos e psicológicos dessa experiência, aguardo ansiosamente os comentários abaixo

Fiat Uno

Me abstenho de comentários, se isso não presta nem pra andar, quem dirá pra fazer sexo. Doggy style aqui, sem chance baby. As imagens falam por si só.

E agora, os carros que, segundo meus amigos, colegas, vizinhos e parentes e a torcida do corinthians, foram fabricados praticamente pra isso. Bancos largos, freio de mão baixo, bancos de trás macios e confortáveis, espaço interno bom.

Doblô

Olha, na minha modesta cabecinha, o Doblô se enquadra na categoria do Uno (carro de mãe), mãããs um amigo me disse que o Doblô do trabalho dele (que fique bem claro que é do trabalho dele mesmo, onde eu trabalho NÃO TEM DOBLÔ e eu fiz pesquisa de campo) é muito confortável quando se deita os bancos… Bom, não entrei nos detalhes sórdidos, mas agora vou pensar duas vezes antes de contratar um Doblô de Rent a Car rsrsrs.

Por que foi fabricado pra isso? Por que ele tem duas fileiras adicionais de bancos na parte de trás, o teto é alto, os vidros já vêm verdes de fábrica (não é um insul-film mas é melhor do que os vidros transparentes), os bancos deitam, e (segundo ele) ninguém vai estranhar um Doblô parado numa rua escura (eu estranharia sim, nunca vi um doblô balançando no meio da noite…).

Vale a pena comprar? Depende… Se você tiver 5 filhos, não ligar pro design grotesco e uma vida sexual off-road animada sim vale a pena, mas fora isso, não. Compre um carro de passeio e vá pra um motel .

Vectra

Bom, mais uma sugestão de um colega. Como ele não especificou qual o modelo do Vectra, vou colocar aqui um dos meus favoritos (não pra sexo, mas pra andar mesmo) o Astra Sport. Tipo, o Astra, por ser duas portas, tem os bancos de trás naturalmente maiores, e bem… É muito estiloso rsrs.

Por que foi fabricado pra isso? Bem, ele não foi propriamente fabricado pra isso, mas com certeza quebra um galho legal pra quando bate aquele (tesão) momento incontrolável rsrs.

Vale a pena comprar? Claro que sim! Além de ser um carro excelente e que desenvolve muito bem na cidade, ele é até que muito discreto na cor preta e, com certeza, caso alguém te veja e pergunte se era você, você pode responder que você não o único feliz proprietário da máquina (hehe).

SpaceFox

Cara, esse carro é o bicho. Eu sou meio chatinha com tudo com essas lanternas redondas, mas nesse carro ficou legal. O que, na minha opinião, acaba com o fox é a traseira, mas com esse porta malas de outro mundo, ele ficou até que harmonioso. O legal desses carros novos é que, em quase todos eles, os bancos traseiros deitam. E isso rende um tremendo espaço interno rsrs.

Por que foi fabricado pra isso? Tipo, ele não foi desenhado pensando em sexo, e sim em longas viagens em família com a pirralhada atrás. Mas isso não quer dizer que não cumpra essa função muito bem.

Vale a pena comprar? Claro. A pessoa que me contou suas aventuras a bordo de um me disse que mantém um colchonete estrategicamente guardado sob o banco de trás, pra não perder nenhum oportunidade. Fik Dik.

Palio

Palio? Isso mesmo leitor, Palio. O Palio foi o campeão de respostas. Chocado? Eu não. Palio é carro popular, logo, quanto mais popular, mais gente de Palio. Eu, Vivien Lee, não compraria um Palio com meu dim dim nunquinha (mas torno a repetir, se alguém quiser me dar um de presente, tô aceitando), mas se você cansou das tentativas de phodas frustradas no seu chevettinho, junte uma graninha e compre um Palio. Se você não conseguir dar umazinha decente, ao menos vai chegar no motel ou no matel com mais dignidade. Nem de longe os engenheiros pensaram em sexo, eles praticamente só pensaram em funcionalidade. Mas como somos brasileiros e não dessistimos nunca, todo mundo já tentou ou conseguiu fazer sexo num Palio. Realmente me intriga o modus operandi da coisa toda, por que uma coisa que o Palio não tem é teto alto e bancos largos. Mas fica registrado aqui o campeão de citações.

E agora, a resposta mais criativa, a mais surpreendente, e o único que pensou extremamente parecido comigo: Galaxie Landau.

Dentre as coisas que os americanos fazem direito, uma das que eu mais admiro é carro. Esse carro é um clássico, obviamente, e eu, como já tive a honra de andar em um, posso dizer que ele, além de confortável, é um show à parte.

Vale a pena comprar? Muito muito muito. Além de andar em grande estilo e torcer pescoços pela rua, suas phodas ficarão marcadas na memória pra sempre rsrs.

Por que foi fabricado pra isso? Se não foi, pelo menos inspirou os caras. Por os americanos gostam de sexo!! Rsrs. Na década de 60, os americanos privilegiavam esse design também chamado de rabo de peixe, e como americano é exagerado com tudo, com essa belezinha não seria diferente. Ele tem um potente motor V8 que bebe bagarai mas que anda muito. Esse carro é praticamente um MOTEL AMBULANTE!

Ahh, só pra encerrar o post em grande estilo, não poderia deixar de fora algumas “dicas” que recebi por e-mail!!

Coisas que nunca de deve fazer quando se está fazendo sexo no carro:

Nunca, nunca pare numa rua escura próxima da sua casa. As amigas da sua mãe surgem de onde você menos espera.

Vidros verdes ou insulfimaldos sempre. Se seus vidros forem transparentes, o risco de ser reconhecido é IMENSO.

Nada de rádio ligado. Você pode se empolgar num solo de guitarra e esquecer que sua bateria pode estar indo pro saco.

Sempre tire o rádio do console. Aquela “Luzinha” parece que vai diretamente pra sua bunda, chamando a atenção de quem não deveria.

Por mais difícil que seja, tente não fazer movimentos bruscos. Quanto mais seu carro balançar, mais atenção vai chamar.

E dê preferência por ruas de fábricas ou indústrias. Em ruas residenciais sempre tem aquele pai de família que chega do trabalho às 2h00 da manhã e pode ficar chocado com seu ato e chamar a polícia.

Sexo em vias públicas é crime. Mesmo que o carro seja seu. Portanto, caso você seja temente à justiça dos homens e à cinta do seu pai indo te buscar na delegacia, pague um motel.

Inginerii germani de la E-Wolf au prezentat conceptul unui supercar electric, care ‘tinteste’ catre Ferrari Enzo. Conceptul acestui supercar se numeste E2 si prezinta un design avandardist, similar cu cel observat in urma cu cativa ani pe Ferrari Enzo.

Din pacate pentru germanii de la E-Wolf, modelul este inca in stadiul de concept, iar imaginile cu acesta sunt create pe calculator.

Cu toate acestea, inginerii de la E-Wolf sunt optimisti si se asteapta sa puna acest model pe sosea in anul 2012.

E-Wolf E2 este al doilea model creat de aceasta marca, primul fiind modelul E1, care este un roadster electric cu drept de circulatie. Modelul E1 a fost creat in colaborare cu Institutul de Cercetare in Polimeri si Structuri Usoare din Saxonia.

E-Wolf a prezentat modelul E1 la Salonul Auto de la Frankfurt din acest an, iar roadsterul electric este disponibil spre vanzare contra unei sume de 150.000 euro. Roadsterul E1 cantareste doar 500 de kilograme si poate transporta un sofer care are o masa de maxim 68 de kg.

Motorul electric al lui E-Wolf E1 dezvolta 150 CP si ofera un cuplu motor de 250 Nm inca de la zero rotatii.

Zadanie było wbrew pozorom nie aż tak proste. Nie chodził o podkręcenie możliwości jakiegoś Golfa, Civic’a czy Mazdy. Stawką było Ferrari. Ale nie też jakieś zwykłe, jeśli o samochodzie z Maranello można tak powiedzieć. Za cel postawiono sobie przyśpieszyć Enzo. Misja godna porównania z dwunastoma pracami Heraklesa. Ale chłopcy z EDO postanowili sprostać zadaniu. Zmienili serce pojazdu. Silnik rozwiercono, wymieniono walki rozrządu, sprzęgło oraz układ dolotowe. W sumie silnik urósł o trzy dziesiąte litra i zyskał 180 koni mechanicznych. Aha, Enzo także poddano terapii odchudzającej – superauto straciło 100 kilogramów. Końcowa diagnoza wykazała – prędkość maksymalna w granicach 390 kilometrów na godzinę, a wskazówka prędkościomierza odległość od 0 do pierwszej setki pokonuje w 3.2 sekundy.

Two new cars from two of the biggest names in super car manufacturing. First off the production line is the Ferrari 458 Italia, successor to the outgoing 430. Looking more aggressive than the 430, Ferrari has returned to form somewhat in the looks department though it remains to be seen if the newcomer has the performance to match. Just because Mr. Schumacher is making your adds doesn’t make the car brilliant to drive! Here’s some numbers for those interested.

Next, hot off the presses are first images of the new McLaren MP4-12C. The linage is clearly evident at first glance, and when the doors are open thoughts immediately go to a McLaren F1 for a new millennium.

Personally, I find the slightly understated look of the MP4-12C more appealing than the aggressiveness of the new 458. As far as numbers go, the McLaren is in an entirely different league to the 458 which is to be expected with the McLaren being more competition for the Enzo than its baby brother.
