Continua il nostro lento ma vivace peregrinare. Questo sabato siamo a Rolo (Modena) per parlare di copyleft e affini. Per chi non lo sapesse Rock in Rolo Festival è un evento di livello nazionale.
Al concorso per band emergenti ormai famoso e conosciuto in tutta Italia, affianca The Zen Circus,NENA, Heike Has The Giggles, Valerian Swing, la mostra di Miss Mirma VS Makkinoso, ovviamente l’incontro con noi KaiZen preceduto dall’intervento di Marco Gallorini organizzatore del copyleft festival, l’esposizione di fumetti a cura di Fabio Sera, la presentazione del libro “Correggio Mon Amour” e molto altro.

Eventi, chiaramente, gratuiti e grande attenzione a coniugare qualità dei prodotti e prezzi bassi.

In questa manifestazione si parlerà, oltre che di Copyleft come già detto, anche di Bookcrossing, di decrescita, di territorio e di tutto quella cultura che solitamente viene messa da parte solo perché chi ne fruisce non ha un grande potere d’acquisto.

Zilele trecute am vazut tot felul… Alaltaieri, de exemplu, vroiam sa vad recitalul lui Horatiu Malaele si un spectacol de flamenco (dupa aia am auzit ca a fost genial). Dar nu s-a putut. Noi astia de la actorie, toti anii, am fost obligati sa mergem la o… chestie a unora din Irlanda. Cica un “spectacol” de meditatie, inovator. Si tot spectacolu’ 3 “actori” se plimbau de colo-colo, cu incetinitoru’, spuneau in soapta poezii pe care nu le intelegeau nici ei… si pe fundal era un video cu apa care curgea… Daca inchideai ochii mai si faceai pe tine. O ora jumate am crezut ca imi scapara creierii… Plictisitor e putin spus. E ca si cand te uiti la o coaja de cartof mai mult timp… iti vin tot felu’ de idei… Si-ajungi la momentu’ ala sa ti se para interesanta coaja de cartof… Asta pentru ca n-ai ce face. Daca iti dai voie sa te plictisesti, nu e de bine. Da’ tot a fost o aventura sa vad asa ceva. Aventura rabdarii. Bineinteles ca mai mult de jumate din public a plecat. Era penibil/ haios cand vedeai cum mai plecau cate unii. Am ramas in final numai 14 (cu tot cu “regizor”).
Nu inteleg de ce trebuie sa vad un spectacol-workshop (cica asa ii zice), in care sa ma faca aia sa meditez. Meditez eu acasa, eu cu mine…
Si ieri am trecut iar prin spatiul lor de spectacol (intr-un hol din facultatea de medicina, unde facem noi curs. Haaaah!). Ne-a rugat “actrita” (care clar e sarita de pe fix) sa avem grija pe unde calcam, ca ei au spalat pentru urmatoarea reprezentatie (cred ca aplauzele noaste i-au ambitionat atat de tare incat s-au hotarat ca ieri sa aiba 2 spectacole!!! Serios! Hello, people, erau doar de politete). Ne-a zis ca sa nu murdarim ca se distruge energia si karma pe care au format-o si va fi greu, pentru doua spectacole pe zi. Era atat de convinsa de balivernele ei ca m-a facut sa rad.
In fine… alaltaieri, dupa prostia aia, am fost si eu prima data in festival la clubu’ festivalului, in curtea teatrului. Am facut poza cu Horatiu Malaele! Clasa noastra a dat tonu’ la dans si am stat pana la 4 dimineata. Normal ca am dansat tot timpul.

Ieri am vazut “Uriasii muntilor” al lui Purcarete, de la Iasi… si un spectacol al unei trupe din Israel. Teatru-dans. A fost asa, ca un musical. Normal ca mi-a placut asta!
Dupa aia iar la club. Dar de data asta n-a mai fost asa de bine. Au inceput vreo 2 trupe de scelerati straini sa cante. Unii au venit pe motociclete, cu instrumentele in spate si se purtau ca niste retardati (pe bune, asta le era lor in “program”. Glumite tampite). Nu zic, cantau bine dar nu prea aveam eu stare de a dansa pe muzica live. Tot mai buna e “muzica la boxa” in momentele ca asta.
Mai incolo au pus si “muzica la boxa” dar iar nu mi-a convenit. Era numai muzica house. Biiiiig bleahhhhh! Desi nu mi-a placut asa de mult, tot am stat pana la 5 si ceva dimineata, incat m-am putut duce linistita acasa, singura, ca era lumina si era asa o liniste… E super sa mergi prin oras de dimineata, cand nu s-a trezit populatia. Aici la Sibiu mai e inca ceva: sunt pescarusi… Sa-i fi vazut si auzit….

Astazi ma voi duce la “Metamorfoze”… si la inca un spectacol cu niste japonezi, am inteles. Si dupa aia iar la club… Ma ingrozesc maine cand ma gandesc ca avem cursuri… Vai vai vai…
Saptamana care vine da startul sesiunii… Avem vreo 4 examene cred incepand de Marti…

Gand: Anul trecut pe vremea asta nici nu ma gandeam ca o sa stau in curtea teatrului si-o sa dansez. Hahha.

Nos dias 29, 30 e 31 de maio acontece, na Torre de TV, o festival ROLLA PEDRA – Músicas do Brasil. Essa super festa vai reunir artistas e bandas de indie, hip hop, heavy metal, rock, hardcore e MPB. O fetival ainda contará com a participação dos Raimundos, B. Negão & Os Seletores de Frequência e da banda Dark Avenger!!!
O evento recebe o nome do antigo Teatro Rolla Pedra, em Taguatinga, que entre 1984 e 1986 ajudou a revelar alguns dos grandes nomes da cultura brasiliense. Atualmente, as ações do Rolla Pedra, sob a coordenação do produtor Kennedy Bitencourt, têm como base o site www.rollapedra.com, que cadastra perfis e mp3 de bandas independentes e promove eventos de formatos diversos no decorrer do ano. O espaço também disponibiliza uma rádio on-line com músicas das bandas cadastradas.

Texas nightlife

Texas’ fine cities have everything to offer in the way of nightlife that you could possibly desire: Austin has music, Houston culture, Dallas a unique blend of fine dining and sweaty sports, whilst San Antonio’s twinkling cityscape is very easy on the bleary eyes of night owls.

Spain, France and Mexico are just three of the countries that have tried to lay claim to Texas over the years. From a distance, the Lone Star State, America’s second biggest just behind Alaska, might look like an arid landscape dotted with errant steer, granite-chinned cowboys and oil wells spurting into lucrative life. Look a little closer though, and you’ll see why nations fought to call it their own.

While such landmark sites as The Alamo can draw over two and a half million visitors a year and should definitely be on your list of things to see, point at and get photographed in front of, it’s the vibrant and diverse nightlife of Texas’ cities that will demand your attention as the day’s light cools. From Austin’s enigmatic and willfully eclectic music scene to the extensive and glittering haute cuisine eateries of Dallas, the extensive art houses of Houston and the sublime delights of San Antonio, Texas will make you put your preconceptions on hold, leaving you to marvel at your surroundings as the sun finally goes down and the state really begins to light up.

Austin

The Live Music Capital of the World is home to almost 200 venues and hosts the annual music industry shindig SXSW as well as the Austin City Limits Festival at Zilker Park. Though the city has numerous bars and restaurants, with seven distinct music districts, Austin has all the best tunes.

It’s seen better days, but the city’s infamous Sixth Street district is still home to the acclaimed Parish Room, a venue that famously played host to an impromptu super-group that included The Who’s Pete Townshend and mop-topped guitarist Slash

Antone’s was originally the first club on Sixth, but has now moved across to Fifth Street on the borders of Market and the Warehouse and Downtown districts. Thirty-four years after it opened, this unassuming blues venue – you’d imagine that it might have fallen out of the sky – is still going strong. It helped foster the reputation of stars like Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

If you fancy something a little more rowdy or punk rock, stroll over to the Red River district where Emo’s should meet your needs. Johnny Cash popped in there in the 1990s. The bar stool he sat on still hangs from the ceiling; it’s that kind of place.

Dallas

There’s nothing quite like watching a baseball connect with a bat then enjoying the spectacle of the diminishing red and white sphere describing a wide arc out of the Rangers Ballpark and into the dome of the starry Texan night. After a long day of shopping and sightseeing, a beer and a hotdog in the balmy Texan evening is hard to beat.

If you want something more than a hotdog, then this most well heeled of Texan cities is also for you. The celebrated and very successful Stephan Pyles Restaurant is down in the Dallas Arts district. Pyles made his name cooking on Good Morning America with his ‘new millennium Southwestern cuisine’ – go and see why.

Fine dining of the new-American cuisine kind can be found at the acclaimed Bolla restaurant, linger in the art deco bar first; its vibrant décor will only be enhanced by working your way through the extensive cocktail list.

Finally, bring your wallet and perhaps someone else’s too, and visit (deep breath) the Mansion Restaurant at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek for more exquisite new-American cuisine. Try to wangle one of six places at the ‘Chef’s Table’ where the chef conjures up unique meals, seemingly on a whim.

Houston

As night falls, the sound inside Kicks sports auditorium can reach deafening levels and the language becomes so colourful that it runs right off the spectrum and that’s just on the track. Welcome to Roller Derby Houston where all-girl teams with names like the Psyche Ward Sirens, Burlesque Brawlers and  – perhaps most pleasingly – the Machete Betties struggle to impress their femininity on their fellow racers as they jostle for position around the oval track, or failing that, chip someone’s tooth. This neon lit, lipstick-smeared spectacle is great fun and perfect entertainment for those of you who were disappointed when the Romans stopped pitting fighters against each other in gladiatorial combat.

From the ridiculous to the sublime, and Texas’ biggest city is a cradle for the arts, with four world-class companies; the Houston Symphony, the award winning Houston Grand Opera, Alley Theatre and the Houston Ballet are all prominent features of the city’s social landscape.

San Antonio

San Antonio is home to basketball stars the Spurs, so take in an evening game at the AT&T Center and marvel at the gangly dexterity of the former world champions. Then, out into the night, try a cocktail or two at Bar Rojo, situated in the Grand Hyatt San Antonio, a setting so ornate and vibrant you’ll be lucky not to lose an eye.

If it’s the first Friday of the month stroll down to Southtown – an area that acts as an enclave for artists – where you’ll find galleries open until late and the streets filled with vendors selling food and crafts.

Try the famed River Walk at night, the bars and restaurants twinkling beneath strings of multi-coloured fairy lights. Pop into Dick’s Last Resort and swoon over nachos laden with chili tequila queso and sour cream washed down with draught beer. Avoid taking an unintentional dip in the still (and sometimes unfenced) waters and head to Market Square and the 24-hour Mi Tierra Café y Panaderia, or if you’d rather the quiet life, take the elevator to Bar 601 near the summit of the Tower Of The Americas and watch the city fall away and glimmer silently beneath your feet.

Shuvo Noboborsho! Happy new year!! Today is Pohela Boishakh, the first day of the Bengali calendar. The advent of Bengali New Year is gaily observed throughout the country. The Day (mid-April) is a public holiday. Most colorful daylong gatherings along with arrangement of cultural program and traditional Panta at Ramna Park, is a special feature of Pahela Baishakh. Tournaments, boat races etc. are held in cities and villages amidst great jubilation. Many fairs are held in Dhaka and other towns and villages. I coloured the bit above for a reason,  Ive been in this country for the past 2 and a half years and this is gonna be my third Pohela Boishak, and according to tradition im goin to spend it at home, the text is red coz I just ripped it off  this page. Any furher  reference will from Wikipedia and  as  for  the  pics, Google images,  ahh no one gives a  damn  about  intellectual property rights here anyway.

I just prefer to spend it at home, its just too hot outside, I mean it’s a day time festival smack in the beginning of summer. Why couldn’t we just follow the Gregorian calendar?? Why couldn’t it be in winter?? Why the fuck did our forefathers decide to get all rebellious all of a sudden go like “ Gregorian? Dude that’s soooooo pre 1971” …..yes I do know that they probably came up the calendar a loooooooong time ago, but the pale faces don’t and I need the attention.

So what exactly to people do on this day? Lets see what Wiki has to say:

• The home is thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned; people bathe early in the morning and dress in fine clothes ( it really doesn’t matter if they took a bath, they’ll all still stink by lunch time. Ive spent the day at home and you wouldn’t be able to tell me apart from the dumpster outside my apartment).

• Special foods are prepared to entertain guests (rice and fried fish with mashed potatoe? No thank you, I like this here can of Pringles just fine).

• The fairs also provide entertainment, with singers and dancers staging jatra (traditional plays), pala gan, etc ( ah yes the jatra or journey, within the cities it is a rather  innocent and bland dance performance, but exit the urban jungle and into some of the villages there it’s a tad bit more exciting, hint: think open air, free for all strip show with free pot ) .   

• Kite flying in Dhaka and bull racing in Munshiganj used to be very colourful events. Other popular village games and sports were horse races, bullfights, cockfights, flying pigeons, and boat racing (Great! Now someone please pass me the Halo DVD).

Its 1.37pm, gotta go post this, take a shower, have lunch, go out for a smoke under some tree somewhere and then I dunno, maybe watch the smelly people on TV.

basically I am pretty lazy in writing. One of the reasons I Like to draw. Because I got funding from the AG Kurzfilm to travel to the Ottawa Animation Festival I had to write a report about the festival ( in German ). So I am posting this here, too

Das OAIF

Also um es gleich vorweg zu nehmen: das Kurzfilmfestival in Ottawa war für mich das beste Animationsfilmfestival auf dem ich je war!

Ich kam 2 Tage vor Beginn des Festivals in Ottawa an, so dass mir ein Tag Luft blieb um mir die Stadt anzusehen (ein bisschen Kultur muss schon sein), in Ruhe im Festivaloffice vorbeizuschauen und meinem Jetlag freundlich zu begegnen (um es mit Gerhard Polt zu sagen: „der Jetlag ist ein Tag den wo man zahlt- aber man kriegt ihn nicht!“).

Ottawa ist auf den ersten Blick keine besonders spektakuläre Stadt. Zu Kanadas Hauptstadt wurde Ottawa angeblich allein aufgrund Queen Victorias Leidenschaft für Landschaftsaquarelle aus dieser Gegend. Die Stadt befindet sich mitten auf der Grenze zwischen dem französisch- und dem englischsprachigen Teil Kanadas.

Ottawa wird ja oft nachgesagt vor allem eine verschlafene Beamtenstadt zu sein- doch die vielen kulturellen Veranstaltungen belehren einen eines besseren. Tatsächlich findet fast jede Woche ein anderes Festival statt (wie zum Beispiel das Ottawa Tulip Festival, das Winterlude, zahlreiche Musikfestivals und eben das OIAF).

Doch gerade dieses ein klein wenig Verschlafene macht diese Stadt so sympathisch. Ich glaube ich habe mich ein bisschen in Kanada verliebt! Die Kanadier vereinen die Freundlichkeit und Offenheit der Amerikaner mit sehr europäischen Eigenschaften. Ich glaube in Kanada könnte ich es aushalten….

Ich war zuerst darüber verwundert, dass das Festival kleiner war als ich gedacht hatte. Da Ottawa einen exzellenten Ruf hat, hatte ich es mir von der Größenordnung mehr so wie Annecy vorgestellt.

Leider ist das Festival in den letzten Jahren immer kleiner geworden und musste schon einige Male ums Überleben kämpfen. Die Veranstalter liegen wegen der Finanzierung seit langem mit der konservativen Regierung im Clinch, die nicht viel Sinn für Kunst und Kultur zu haben scheint.

Die Seele des Festivals sind Chris Robinson und seine Frau Kelly. Ich hatte mit den Beiden leider nur am Rande zu tun, aber auch die Filmauswahl scheint zu einem großen Teil auf Robinsons Konto zu gehen.

Zum Thema Filmauswahl: die hat mir ausnehmend gut gefallen! Ich war dieses Frühjahr in Annecy und hatte dort ein bisschen den Eindruck gewonnen, dass dieses Jahr kein besonders guten Animationsfilmjahrgang hervorgebracht hatte.

Eine Mitarbeiterin des National Filmboard, die in Annecy in der Jury gesessen hatte, erzählte mir, dass die Filmauswahl die Hauptjury ziemlich zum Verzweifeln gebracht hat, weil das Programm nicht wirklich gut war und es deswegen auch schwer fiel die Preise überhaupt zu vergeben.

Seit Ottawa bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, dass das Problem in der Vorauswahl bestand- denn in Ottawa habe ich wirklich einen ganze Menge interessanter und sehenswerter Filme gesehen! Alles in Allem hatte

Ich einen Riesen-Spaß dabei, mir die gezeigten Filme anzuschauen! Bis auf ein paar der Kinderfilmprogramme habe ich auch so ziemlich alles gesehen.

Was an Ottawa auch recht speziell ist, ist dass sehr viele abstrakte Filme im Programm sind. Das hat wohl 2 Gründe: Zum einen fördert das National Filmboard of Canada in der Tradition von Norman MacLaren verhältnismäßig viele abstrakte Film und natürlich Chris Robinson.

Mein Film lief am zweiten Tag. Die Publikumsreaktionen waren im Großen und Ganzen sehr positiv, was mich natürlich sehr gefreut hat- vor allem weil es für mich immer wieder eine komische Situation ist, meine eigenen Filme auf Großleinwand vor Publikum zu sehen. Ich wurde danach von sehr vielen Leuten auf meinen Film angesprochen, woraus sich einige nette und interessante Gespräche ergaben. So lernte ich auch einige der Leute kennen, mit denen ich die folgenden Tage verbringen sollte.

Bei der Gelegenheit fiel mir auf, dass die zahlenmäßig stärkste Gruppe auf dem Festival Amerikaner von der Ostküste – insbesondere aus New York- sind (was angesichts der geographischen Nähe auch nicht allzu sehr verwundert). Ich war zum ersten Mal dieses Jahr überhaupt in Nordamerika. Ich war kurz vor dem OIAF auf der Siggraph in Los Angeles. Ich muss sagen, dass mir die amerikanischen Filmemacher Respekt abnötigen. In den Vereinigten Staaten scheint es so gut wie keine Filmförderung zu geben. Irgendwie schaffen sie es dann doch Filme zu machen, was ich sehr bewundernswert finde. Wenn man von solchen Institutionen wie der AG Kurzfilm erzählt, bekommen die Amerikaner lange Gesichter. Da wird einem erst wieder bewusst wie vergleichsweise gut man es als deutscher Filmemacher doch hat. Trickfilmer und Kanadier zu sein ist übrigens auch nicht schlecht, aber dazu später mehr.

Andere Filmemacher zu treffen ist eigentlich neben dem Filmesehen der Hauptgrund auf so ein Festival zu gehen. Da war dann die relativ kleine Größe des Festivals ein Vorteil. Darüber hinaus bemühen sich die Organisatoren durch zahlreiche Partys und Veranstaltungen dafür zu sorgen, dass sich die Leute näher kommen.

Ich habe den Verdacht, dass hier der Jetlag ein Vorteil war, denn mein etwas durcheinander gebrachter Schlafrhythmus hat es mir verhältnismäßig einfach gemacht sowohl die allabendliche Party als auch den Animator´s Talk um 9.00 morgens und alles was dazwischen lag mitzunehmen. Beim Animator´s Talk war ich dann natürlich auch dran. Das ging so weit ganz gut. Schade ist, dass man immer eher auf technische oder formale Dinge angesprochen wird. Ich bin selber eigentlich mehr an der Geschichte interessiert, sagen wir mal mehr am warum als am wie, aber so ist das nun einmal.

Ich habe mich sehr über den großen Preis für Dennis Tupicoff gefreut. Chainsaw ist ein toller Film! Dennis ist obendrein ein ziemlich interessanter Typ, den ich bei dem Highlight jedes OIAF, dem großen Kürbisschnitzwettbewerb, kennen gelernt habe. Zur Halbzeit des Festivals werden sämtliche Besucher irgendwo auf das Land zu einem Barbecue gekarrt, wo dann nebenher der große Pumpkin Carve Wettbewerb stattfindet. Unter der Festivalleitung grassiert der Verdacht, dass viele ihre Kürbisse vorher planen und heimlich üben. Jedenfalls ist es sehr lustig was dabei entsteht. Wen ich auch sehr zu schätzen gelernt habe ist Martin Pickles, dessen ´Like me, only Better` auf ziemlich vielen Festivals im Moment läuft. Ein großartiger Humor, ich bin sehr gespannt was als nächstes von ihm kommt!

Ein weiteres Highlight war der Workshop mit Jonas Odell. Ich mag seine Sachen sehr. Es war zwar mehr ein verlängertes ‚Meet the Filmmaker’ als ein normaler Workshop, war aber dennoch sehr aufschlussreich. Ich habe manchmal den Eindruck, dass Leute wie Jonas im Grunde etwas gelangweilt sind von der Animationsszene und deswegen versuchen Wege am Rand zu gehen. Ich habe allgemein so ein wenig den Eindruck, dass die Szene noch vor 10, 15 Jahren ein wenig lebendiger erschien. So wie ich das sehe, liegt das nicht daran, dass es weniger talentierte Filmemacher gibt, sondern, dass es viel schwieriger ist heute etwas zu machen was es so noch nicht gegeben hat. Die Masse an Produktionen ist kaum überschaubar. Gleichzeitig scheint der etwas älteren Generation einfach die schiere Masse an Nachwuchsanimatoren und Studenten etwas unheimlich zu sein. Sagen wie es mal so: Animationsfestivals waren wohl früher etwas familiärere Angelegenheiten…

Dadurch erscheinen viele ältere Filmemacher leicht gelangweilt ( „…hab ich schon 1000-mal gesehen“ ) und mich beschleicht der Verdacht, dass auch Jonas zu dieser Gruppe gehört. Bei Jonas Odell scheint das aber dazu zu führen, dass etwas tatsächlich Neues entsteht- in seinem Fall Mischungen aus Dokumentar- und Animationsfilm. Darüber hinaus ist er durch seine Musikvideos, unter anderem für Goldfrapp und Franz Ferdinand über den Animationsfilm hinaus bekannt geworden. Ich fand es sehr inspirierend.

Das Festival endet zwar am Sonntag aber es geht traditionell weiter mit einem Besuch beim National Filmboard of Canada. Wir kamen minimal zu spät ( in dem Fall Martin Pickles und ich ) , da sich keine Mitfahrgelegenheit für uns gefunden hatte. Wir mussten mit dem Greyhound Bus fahren- und das zieht sich! Dadurch wurden wir einer französischsprachigen Gruppe zugeteilt ( in Kanada läuft da alles immer schön paritätisch. Mein Französisch reicht mit etwas Mühe für die Bestellung eines Cafe au Lait, das war es dann aber auch. Glücklicherweise stellten sie dann doch nach 2 Räumen die Führung auf Englisch um.

Das National Filmboard, und es gibt wohl in jeder Provinz eines, ist gigantisch. Ich hätte mir das nicht so groß vorgestellt. Die Führung besteht aus einem Rundgang durch die verschiedenen Ateliers. Das Filmboard vergibt Stipendien an Animatoren, die dann dort ihre Filme materiell unabhängig erstellen können. Ich habe da dann wieder ein paar sehr interessante Leute kennen gelernt. Wiederum war die Gastfreundschaft großartig. Ich musste wiederum an die oben erwähnten amerikanischen Filmemacher denken, die dann wohl vor Neid geplatzt wären. Von denen war das Gros allerdings schon abgereist. Um direkt zurückzufahren war es zu spät, weshalb ich dann noch eine Nacht in Montreal geblieben bin.

Eine ganz glückliche Fügung war, dass einer der amerikanischen Filmemacher in Philadelphia an der UArts unterrichtet. Ich hatte auf dem Rückflug 6 Stunden Aufenthalt in Philadelphia (wer billig fliegen will muss leiden…), und das hat dann genau gereicht um nach Downtown zu fahren, ein delikates Mittagessen mit dem Lehrpersonal einzunehmen und meinen Film den Studenten zu zeigen.

Mit dem darauf folgendem Flug nach Frankfurt endete dann auch mein Kanada Abenteuer. Ich bin jedenfalls extrem froh, dass mir das durch die AG Kurzfilm möglich gemacht wurde

Stockholms poesifestival  går av stapeln den 17 oktober 2008. Flera kända namn kommer att dyka upp, bland andra;  Bodil Malmsten (Sverige), Plura Jonsson (Sverige), Nora Gominger (Tyskland), Ying Cheng (Canada/Kina), Rebecca Kjelland (Norge), Joy Harjo (USA), Steinar Opstad (Norge), Tobias Berggren (Sverige). Men även Marica Lagercranzt och Stina Ekblad (skådespelerskor) och dansaren Paloma Madrid kommer att äntra scenen på Dramaten under festivalen.

En av arrangörerna meddelar att:

Biljetter köpes på Dramaten och om man viskar fram lösen ordet; “Ordkrig” får man halva priset 115 kr (ord. pris 230) till en av föreställningarna, och om du har ätit poesigröt hela veckan så viskar du; “Ordkrig paket”  så får du sylt… Det vill säga en heldag med poesi, musik, dans, teater och fest för jätte billiga 300 kronor.*

Fram med baskern och den roiboosstänkta rösten, nu ska de reciteras dikter! Undrar just hur många av oss har haft drömmar om att bli poet? Jag har för tusen år sedan skrivit en liten samling som publicerades i en obskyr liten kulturtidning i Umeå. Må alla exemplar ha vittrat sönder! Annars har jag ju gjort tappra förök att fylla en egenhändigt gjord bok som bara trycktes i ett enda exlusivt exemplar.

The festival takes place Memorial Day weekend from Saturday, May 24th through Monday, May 26th in Detroit, Michigan.
The festival that started as DEMF (The Detroit Electronic Music Festival) has been in existence since the year 2000,
initially started by Pop Culture Media along with artistic director Carl Craig.
It has passed through the hands of various management, including Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and its current 3-year managing organization, Paxahau.
The festival holds a special place for fans of the roots of electronic music, as Detroit is credited as the birthplace of techno,
and it is a bit of a return to Mecca for many of the genre’s fans.
Many noted up and coming performers have taken part in the event, as well as several mainstays that have helped to shape the sound in general,
such as Kenny Dixon Jr. (AKA Moodymann), Scion (with a special secret appearance by Basic Channel), Inner City, Luomo, Underground Resistance, Derrick May and many more.
This year’s festivities include appearances by original DEMF co-founder Carl Craig, Egyptian Lover, Speedy J, Dubfire, Benny Benassi, Moby, James Zabiela, Deadmau5 , Josh Wink , Marco Carola, Mark Farina, and others.

Voici donc qu’arrive la semaine du rock toulousaine pour sa 4eme édition. Elle a lieu en se moment dans différents bars et salles de concerts de Toulouse. Je suis vraiement désolé de vous donner ces infos un peu en retard. (dû à une erreur rencontrée sur le net, qui annoncée le début des festivités pour le mois d’avril…) Je m’excuse platement auprés de vous.

Quoi qu’il en soit il vous reste pas mal de concert à écouter. Petite précision : les groupes qui jouent dans ce festival sont uniquement tirés de la scène toulousaine. Une bonne occasion pour vous de découvrir ce que donne la scène rock toulousaine.
