First off…today is a very sad day. Theoren Fleury has retired from the game of hockey as a Calgary Flame. But, more on that later. For now, I come to you with a rad little playlist that I’ve put together over the course of booking my residence tower’s annual ski trip. The ski trip really has nothing to do with this playlist, however I am super pumped for both. I absolutely cannot wait for the epic that will be the 2010 Schäday Ski Trip at Panorama in January. Two hundred rowdy residents from Schäffer and Henday Halls, combined with one-hundred and fifty from Mackenzie Hall should equal for some fun times. I am definitely glad to have the groundwork laid out for this trip. However, enough rambling from me. I am sure you will hear more about this ski trip later. Until then, enjoy the music!

Rachel here, It’s about that time again!

Yay for another artist playlist! My favorite thing about these playlists (aside from making fun of some of the artist’s choices in music ::cough:: chumbawumba ::cough:: Love You DAVID !!) I get the privilege of finding new and really great music. That’s the best!

This week, we are spotlighting Daria Musk’s playlist!

Daria is a singer/songwriter from Newtown, CT. I’d like to start off by saying, SHE ROCKS! She has a great spirit about her. Her laugh is contagious and she is SUCH a positive person. When I first met her, she made a comment to me in the elevator as we were leaving, something along the lines of “I just really believe in the music”, which left me excited to work with someone I had such instant respect for!
She also rocks literally! She started her career off as a little tyke on Sesame Street (Insert awesome JD from Scrubs quote here-“I grew up on the street, no not that street, Sesame Street!), and has evolved into an awesome musician. She has helped with vocals for one of her fav’s, Mystic Bowie, opened for Melissa Manchester and Eric Hutchinson, as well as played her own sets at places like The Paradise in Boston and The Mercury Lounge in NYC. Both which were SOLD OUT! You can check her music out at Daria’s Myspace.

And now for the playlist! ENJOY!

What I’m listening to: Daria Musk

Adele, “Hometown Glory”, “Make You Feel My Love” – Adele might be the coolest person ever. Her voice sounds like it’s from the depths of the earth and ages old. She desperately makes me want to be British so I can pull of lyrics like “Tuttin’ my heels and struttin my feet”.

Coldplay, “Lost?”, “Viva La Vida” – I just love them. I love the use of rhythm in these songs. “Lost?” has the gravitational pull of a black hole. I can’t escape it. I need to cover this song.

The Beatles, The LOVE Album: This album is a total revelation. An entirely new way to hear the genius of The Beatles. My favorites are the mash-up of Drive My Car / The Word / What You’re Doing and “Strawberry Fields Forever” which builds from the first acoustic demo of the song, and then includes the orchestral section from “Sgt. Pepper”, the solo piano from “In My Life”, the brass from “Penny Lane”, the cello and harpsicord from “Piggies” and the refrain of “Hello, Goodbye”. It’s mind-blowing.

Dave Mattews Band, “Granny” – Dave has been with me since I first picked up a guitar. My guitar teacher started writing, “By, You Know Who” on our sheet music because we learned so many of his songs.
This one is so sweet, especially the “Live at Central Park” version. It’s warms me up from the inside out.

Fiction Plane, “Death Machine”, “Two Sisters” and “It’s a Lie” – I couldn’t drive anywhere last summer without listening to these three songs at least once. Incredible songs and performances, and the band’s live shows are breathtakingly great. I adore them and I have no idea why they’re not hugely well-known. Not just because they’re three amazingly talented guys that totally rock, but also because the lead singer Joe Sumner is Sting’s son. (That’s where I faint.) If you like The Police and rock with a little angst you will love Fiction Plane as much as I do.

Imogen Heap, “Headlock” – Imogen really opened my eyes to see how the computer and new technologies can really be used as instruments. She’s made me so curious about exploring that terrain. I find her totally inspiring. This song really shows off her style.

The Police, “Walking on The Moon”: The Police are one of my all time favorite bands and this song just transports me. Sting’s vocals have really influenced me.

U2, How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb: Really this entire album is so dear to me. It rocks, it’s emotional. Bono always teaches me about singing with total freedom and honesty and enthusiasm. The songwriting is perfect. I love playing Edge’s parts to learn what he’s doing. It’s always so simple at it’s core, but so right.

Yes, “That Is, That Is”, “Your Move” and “Seen All Good People” – I love Yes. These songs are awesome classic progressive rock because they’re melodic and complicated, but also have great hook sensibilities. The chess game lyrics in “Your Move” are so much fun.

Elton John, “Take Me To The Pilot” – This song always makes me smile and bop around the car clapping and singing.

Joni Mitchell, “Conversation” – Who hasn’t been influenced by this amazing songwriter? I love the vocals in this song and how she lets the words shape where the melody goes.

Yael Naïm, “Far Far” – This song is so lovely! I love the layers of percussion and incidental sounds. She has a great band too.

Until next week!!

Make sure to check back for more updates!!

A friend of mine dared myself and another friend a few weeks ago to put together a mix of our Top Te

A friend of mine dared myself and another friend a few weeks ago to put together a mix of our Top Ten favorite songs, a task we both immediately deemed impossible. Speaking for myself, trying to narrow down every song I’ve ever liked in my life to only ten songs just isn’t happening–I can do Top Ten within genres, I can do Top Ten Breakup Songs or Top Ten Party Songs, I can do Top Tens for certain bands…hell, I can even do Top Tens of my favorite versions of certain Dave Matthews Band songs. But a Top Ten of all time? I just don’t think I could do that.

So as a consolation to the friend who issued the challenge (who just had a birthday, so I need to do something special), I’m going to try my Nick Hornby High Fidelity best to make a Top Ten Songs I’m Obsessed With Right This Minute–the songs that, for whatever reason, I just can’t stop listening to this week (and I’m only giving the downloads to her, so the rest of you will have to go out and find these gems on your own).

10. ”Impossible Germany”–Wilco (Album: Sky Blue Sky)

I have no idea why I love this song so much. All I know is that when I listen to it, I’m in a good mood. And some days, that’s really all I need to know. But I also know that this song has some amazing guitar work, and some days, that’s all I really need to know as well.

I’m a relative late-comer to Wilco, although I’ve been aware of them since they were formed in the mid-’90s from the ashes of Uncle Tupelo. And frontman Jeff Tweedy and I grew up in towns that are an hour apart and have a teeny-tiny, so-infinitesimally-small-that-it-doesn’t-really-exist connection to each other that’s a long story for another post. Anyway, Wilco = awesome, and I’m glad I finally came around to them.

9. ”Euro-Trash Girl”–Cracker (Album: Kerosene Hat)

I’d forgotten that this song even existed until a friend (the other friend who was dared to put together a Top Ten of All Time list, actually) reminded me. I think I heard this song on the radio so much in 1993 that once its popularity faded away, my memories of it faded as well. But I probably appreciate “Euro-Trash Girl” even more now than I did then. I don’t know if that says something about the song or something about me.

“Euro-Trash Girl”, about what sounds like the craziest European backpacking trip ever, is just awesome from start to finish. Personal highlights for me are the guitar solo (listen at about 5:40) and the lines “Called my mom from a pay phone/Said I’m down to my last/She said “I sent you to college”/”Now go call your dad.” Just terrific.

8. “All I Need”–Radiohead (album: In Rainbows)

I’ve waxed enthusiastic about In Rainbows before, and I still can’t stop listening to it. In fact, it’s nearly impossible for me to choose a favorite song from this disk because it’s practically flawless from start to finish. But today, “All I Need” is the winner. Today. Tomorrow, something else perhaps.

“All I Need” is one of those songs that I put in the category of “Songs You Think Are Gonna Be Love Songs But Turn Out to Be Something Very, Very Different” (the two best songs in this category being The Police’s “Every Breath You Take” and Elvis Costello’s “I Want You”). “All I Need” is a beautifully sad song that builds to an even more beautiful, crashing climax. And I’m a sucker for a beautiful, crashing climax.

7. ”Train in Vain”–The Clash (album: London Calling)

Perhaps one of the most upbeat songs ever written about getting dissed by someone you love, “Train in Vain” is one of the songs on this list that would probably make my all-time Top Ten list. I’ve loved this song since I was a kid, and I love it so much that I even gave it a role in my first-novel-that-will-probably-never-exist-anywhere-other-than-my-computer’s-hard-drive.

One thing in particular that I love about this song is that the drum beat actually sounds like a train chugging down the tracks, and I just think that’s cool. And the drum track is the backing loop to another song I was obsessed with for a time–Garbage’s “Stupid Girl” (a song I was obsessed with for reasons that should be obvious, given the title). And I think that’s cool, too.

6. “On Your Side”–Pete Yorn (album: musicforthemorningafter)

For me, trying to choose a favorite Pete Yorn song is like trying to choose between my favorite kinds of ice cream–it just sort of depends on what I’m in the mood for at the time. But “On Your Side” is a song I always come back to.

Some songs evoke memories or landscapes, and “On Your Side” always evokes clouds and rain for me because the first time I heard this song was on a rainy day. I can listen to this song when the sun is out, but somehow the song doesn’t have the same effect on me (and I can listen to the live version of this song at almost any time and not be moved in quite the same way as I am when I hear the recorded version-weird).

5. ”Two Step”–Dave Matthews Band w/Tim Reynolds and Bela Fleck (Worcester’s Centrum Center, Worcester, MA, December 7, 1998)

Please–you knew I wasn’t going to get through this list without including at least a few DMB songs, right?

If I showed up at a DMB show and found out that they would be playing the same song over and over for three hours, I would vote for “Two Step.” And if I could go back in time to witness one version of this song, I would vote for this version.

This “Two Step” is so good I hardly know where to start. I love the fact that the mix is such that you can hear the crowd singing along. And a definite highlight of this sixteen-minute-plus behemoth is the guitar/banjo duel between Tim Reynolds and Bela Fleck that begins at about the 7:30 mark.

But if you’re in a rush and can’t listen to the entire song, then listen to about the last six minutes or so. I can’t even begin to know how to describe them–they just fall into that category of ineffable music moments that have to be experienced to be understood. I’ll just say that the first time I listened to this version of “Two Step,” I thought those last six minutes were going to take my head clean off, they’re that good. And then at the end, Dave just calmly says “Thank you very much” as if he has no idea that he and his band and his guests have just totally fucked everyone up.

4. ”The Grudge”–Tool (album: Lateralus)

Man, I love me some Tool. And I want to emphasize that “The Grudge” is currently my favorite Tool song, which is sort of like saying that “My second child is currently my favorite child.” Because all of Tool’s angry little children are good, but the “The Grudge” is the one that’s showing up the most on my iPod at the present moment.

This song, which opens Lateralus, is so musically and lyrically phenomenal that most of the time I forget that there are twelve other songs on this album (And what songs! “Schism.” “Parabola.” “Ticks and Leeches.” This album is just a freaking beast.). And if you’ve ever held a grudge against someone, the kind of grudge that slowly eats you alive, you’ll be convinced that Maynard James Keenan is looking into your soul.

3. ”It’s a Lie”–Fiction Plane (album: Left Side of the Brain)

Fiction Plane is one of those bands that was pretty much screwed from the beginning, because even though they started out as a four-piece band, they eventually evolved into a three-piece and lead singer/guitarist Joe Sumner assumed the role of lead singer/bassist. While their mere evolution wouldn’t be enough in and of itself to doom a band, in this case, Joe Sumner is the son of Gordon Sumner, aka Sting, who was also the lead singer/bassist of a little band that you may have heard of. I don’t know if Joe’s familial connections are what’s keeping Fiction Plane from reaching critical mass or not, but I’m guessing that some people can’t get past the relationship. Plus, Joe Sumner happens to look and sound a lot like Sting (Some people don’t agree with me on this. These people are wrong.), which probably doesn’t help matters much.

I’ll be honest–part of the reason I like “It’s a Lie” is that it’s a bit filthy. Sample lyrics: “Wish I could tell you I’m a better guy/That love is all around/And only real men cry/But all I wanna do is jump your bones/Slam dance all night to the music of your moans. So we’re not exactly in “Every Breath You Take” territory here. Actually, I can think of a few relationships I had back in the ’90s that would have gone a lot better had the guys in question gotten the previous sentiments out on the table right when we first met–stories that are perhaps best left for another time.

And whether or not he sounds like Sting, I have to admire Joe Sumner’s use of “jump your bones” in a song released in 2007. I don’t think I’ve heard that phrase since college, and I’m assuming all parties involved were very, very drunk at the time.

2. ”American Baby Intro”–Dave Matthews Band (Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Charlotte, NC, September 19, 2007)

I hate to be one of those DMB fans who always says stuff like “Dude, you so had to be there to appreciate this version of the song.” But, Dude, you kind of had to be there to appreciate this version of “American Baby Intro.” And I was.

“American Baby Intro” is a neat little summation of what people both like and hate about DMB. The song has almost no lyrics (She said a hundred times/She said a thousand times/Yeah…) and is rarely followed live by the song that it is an introduction to. And this particular version of the song was the longest ever played at that time (nearly twelve minutes), while the version of the song on Stand Up clocks in at just over two minutes–so, yes, they jammed it out to nearly six times its original length. The song, on its face, is so worthless that even some of the DMB hardcore can’t stand to hear it live.

But on this particular night in Charlotte, “ABI” was the first song of the encore to one of the best concerts I’d ever seen, hands down. I have a theory that if early on in the show, you can see Dave, Boyd, and Carter looking at each other like they want to rip each other to shreds, then you’re in for an intense DMB experience. And on this night, the three of them kept exchanging looks that clearly said, to me, anyway, “Bring it, motherfucker.” The show was wall-to-wall intense, with a setlist to match (seriously, add in “#41″ and “Grey Street” and I probably would have peed myself right there in front of everyone). By the time “ABI” came around, the band was on fire and so was the crowd.

This “ABI” rises and then slows, and then rises and slows again (thus making it the perfect workout song–I’m just saying). The first rise culminates in a heavy metal scream from Dave (at about 3:27) that was truly one of the most bizarre things I’d ever seen (his mouth was open so wide that I thought his jaw was going to unhinge and then swing around and swallow the rest of his head–that’s the only way I know how to describe it). And by the time the second rise climaxed, I felt as though my feet had left the ground several times, carried on the swirl of the music. This occasion was the only time that I can recall feeling literally lifted by music, and I was exhausted by the end of the song. The only thing that even comes close to ruining this version of “ABI” for me is the guy on the tape who keeps yelling “#41!” the whole time. I truly hope someone punched him in the face, because that’s what I would have done had he been sitting anywhere in my vicinity.

So I fully expect that almost no one will get my love for this version of this particular song unless they were in Charlotte that night (and the friend who dared me to put together my all-time Top Ten was, so the song has nice memories on another level as well). I can only hope my description has done the atmosphere that night just a little bit of justice.

1. ”Loving Wings”–Dave Matthews Band (Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga, NY, August 27, 2003)

This song is really two songs in one. The first four minutes is a beautiful little love song with a hypnotic little guitar part repeating in the background. The next five minutes, however, build into an amazing instrumental jam featuring drummer Carter Beauford and late saxophonist LeRoi Moore at their absolute best (and I can’t help but feel a little pain when hearing this song, knowing that Roi will never play it again). “Loving Wings” is one of those songs that makes me appreciate the amazing level of musicianship in this band.

Unfortunately, this song has never been recorded, so the only versions are from live shows. Which means that no version of this song exists that doesn’t have thousands of drunk people in the background screaming “Wooo!” and “I love you, Dave!” Try to block that out and enjoy the ride that is “Loving Wings.”

Bonus Track (because every good playlist deserves a bonus track): “Spilt Needles”–The Shins (album:Wincing the Night Away)

This song has many memorable lines, but my favorites are: It’s like I’m perched on the the handlebars/Of a blind man’s bike. I swear I feel this way at least once a day, but no one has ever quite put that feeling into words so eloquently.

So, I haven’t written in…awhile. Which is just tragic really. I’ve gathered LOTS of stuff to write about, but I don’t quite know how to put it all into words so this could either be really short…or incredibly long winded. Either way stick with me yo! I do thank you.

First off, last weekend my friends and I went to see Fiction Plane in Cinci at the Mt Adams festival and it generally kicked ass. The short bit: The guys were as awesome as ever, were incredibly polite, and I got a hug. Which was cool. I like hugs. They’re kind of my favorite. ^_~

ANYWAY! The concert kicked ass and a few of my friends are now hard core into FP, which is amazing because now I have people to accompany me to concerts! The boys have an energy on stage that you really can’t get through a CD, and it pumps up everyone in the audience, without fail, every time I see them. Joe does this dance thing where he basically spasms on the stage, but its much cooler then the I’m-trying-way-to-hard-now-watch-me-have-a-seizure-on-stage thing that you see in allot of lead singers now a days. They’re one of those bands thats SO DAMN GOOD live, and thats hard to come by. SO LISTEN TO THEM!! NOW!!! ^_~

Part 2 – Tropic Thunder.

Holy shit did I like this movie. I’m not really a comedy fan, Step Brothers made me want to kill myself. If I’m gonna go see a comedy it needs to be smart, and character driven. And the characters need to be people that don’t annoy the living shit out of me, and if they DO they need to have an arch. Which the characters in this movie all have. They may be stupid, but they’re fun to watch and at the end of the movie they’re all a little bit better then when they started (Cept Tom Cruise’s character…who’s still friken hysterical).

…anyway…

This movie delivered. I haven’t laughed so hard at a movie since I saw Juno I think. Being an actor, I identify with the characters a tad bit (Mostly on an insecurity ridden level), and I found all of them hysterical in their own right. But good god does Robert Downey Jr kick ass. I love that man a little bit more then I rightfully should. He makes the movie. Everything that came out of his mouth was basically gold. The best part is that you can barely tell its him through the whole thing, which makes it an all around incredible performance.

I know allot of people think the movie is the most offensive thing to ever hit the big screen, but christ people, go see them movie. It’s really not that offensive to anyone (Outside of the hollywood big shot types). Give it a chance, and stop trying to be so PC. RELAX AND HAVE A BIT OF FUN DAMN IT!

In conclusion. RDJ is Hot. So is Fiction Plane.

My iPod is rockin’ lately. I have been pretty hooked on a some good stuff:

I am a huge Ray LaMontagne fan. First time I heard him was when they used his song “Burn” on Denis Leary’s tv show “Rescue Me”. He did a cover of Gnarl’s Barkley’s “Crazy” that is beyond superb. I would link you to where it is on iTunes, but it’s not on iTunes, which means you will have to dive deep and do a little hunting on the internet. But trust me when you find it, you’ll know why it’s worth the extra effort.

I have listened to Dispatch’s album “Bang Bang” a couple of times already. I love this album, bummer that these guys broke up. Chad Stokes is with State Radio, if you have a need for Dispatch that must be satisfied check out “Us Against The Crown”, it’s my personal favorite album from their catalog so far. Anyway, song’s to check out on “Bang Bang” are “Out Loud”, “Drive”, and “Here We Go”.

The Cinematics are another band who I have been solidly listening to lately. Their album “A Strange Education” is such a great album. I like to have this playing in the background during get togethers and stuff. Songs I like are “Race To The City” and “Strange Education”. But it’s all good.

To mellow things out a bit, a friend of mine gifted me City and Colour’s “Bring Me Your Love” on iTunes about 2 weeks ago. It had been on my “Albums to be Heard” pile for quite a while now. Though I must warn you the CD is a bit dark and very centered on death and endings, but profound and well written none the less. “Sleeping Sickness” and “What Makes A Man” are must listens.

Because I could actually go on for a while, I am going to end it with this one. Recently my friend was asked to do a video for a band called Kiddo. Well, they rock. I picked up their EP on iTunes and it’s fantastic. Proof that there is so good stuff across the pond in the UK.

Peace Out!

P.S.
Fiction Plane’s album “Left Side Of The Brain”… friggin’ awesome. iTunes it ASAP. Ok, thats it I promise.

I just wanted to post a shameless plug for my own website, Inner Ear. Inner Ear is a music website that used to focus solely on promotion, but because I do pretty much everything myself, it was kinda hard to keep on doing a good job on that. So the focus has shifted more towards reviews & interviews. Things are going slightly better again lately, after a few months where things were quiet (well, i had to graduate too).

Snoop Dogg & 311 are coming to Cincinnati on their “Unity Tour” along with Fiction Plane (who recently came to Louisville with The Bravery). Mr. Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr. has become, for better or worse, one of the most important rappers of all time, being someone that kids and grandparents alike can recognize, despite lyrics that few can discern meaning from, and when you can, it involves drugs, sex or violence (the way we like our rap). Snoop has brought the C-Walk to the living room, the gangsta talk to the board room, and the police to his own home more than once.

Unity, I suppose, comes from the ironic pairing with 311, who, quite frankly, I think is crap, and there isn’t much else to say on the matter. To be fair, I’m basing the entire dismissal on Down and All Mixed Up, but the fact that those songs grace their Greatest Hits (they have a greatest hits?), I imagine those songs to be, if not representative, amongst the best they have to offer.

Snoop & Fiction Plane would be worth seeing though, if you can cough up the $20-40 it takes to get in. The show is all ages and kicks off at 6:30.

Second Chance (klik)
I Will Explode (klik)

The Bravery came to Louisville’s Headliners Music Hall on Sunday night and made it feel like a Saturday night. The place was packed all the way back to the bar and the two openers, Fiction Plane and Your Vegas, played high-energy sets, creating a sweat before The Bravery even stepped on the stage.

As soon as The Bravery hopped on stage, they broke right into “Fearless” from their self-titled, debut album (2005). It is a great opener because of the way it builds…that and it is one of their more popular songs. The guys have a great stage presence; one that doesn’t look like it needs reassurance that you are enjoying the show. When you have a hit record and the crowd is into the show, I guess it wouldn’t be too hard to have confidence. They followed “Fearless” with two other songs from the same album, “No Breaks” and “Public Service Announcement.”

I’m such a huge fan of their first album, I would have been satisfied if they just played it all the way through, but considering they just released The Sun and The Moon Complete a few weeks prior to the show, their next song was “This is Not the End.” Lead Singer, Sam Endicott, prefaced the song by noting that the song was off their new album, The Moon (meaning their electro-injected remix of The Sun). I think it is safe to say that we all are happy to see that they brought the classic DIY, electro-rock style that we all fell in love with back to an album that was a departure from The Bravery. This song is a case-in-point.

They brought it back to their debut with “Tyrant” before playing the crowd favorite, and perhaps the most popular song off their second album, “Believe.” I’m a huge Madden football fan and this song is on the 2008 version of the game, so I’ve probably heard this song 1,000 times (not including times played on my ipod or on the radio), but I digress. Everyone sang and clapped along without being encouraged, which I hadn’t seen in a while.

Sam dedicated the next song, “Time Wont Let Me Go”, to The Outsiders and preceded to list Ponyboy, Emilio Estevez, Tom Cruise, Matt Dillon, Rob Lowe and some other characters/actors from the classic 1983 film. The joke was lost on the crowd, and perhaps on me as well, but I think he was looking for that one fan whose favorite song was “Time Won’t Let Me” by The Outsiders (1966). Please comment if you know otherwise.

After “Every Word is a Knife in My Ear,” Sam passed the lead mic over to guitarist, Michael Zakarin, to provide the vocals for “The Dandy Rock.” You won’t find this track on either of their albums, as it is apparently from some old b-side, that even they didn’t know where to find it. Zakarin plays left handed and looks like a cross between Peter Moren and the Apple guy. The song was good in its own regard, but I can understand why it didn’t make it on either of the other albums. It was more pop and less dance, but I was just glad to hear something new.

Perhaps my favorite part of the show came during the bands interaction with the crowd before the next song while taking requests. One person asked for “Angelina,” but Sam admitted he didn’t even remember how to play that track. Two kids in the front asked for “Free Bird,” which was laughed off. Then came the finest request that could have been made…”Track 10.” I was laughing too hard to hear the remainder of the exchange, but they played “The Ocean” or better known as “Track 12.”

Sam said earlier, “wonder if we are going to play ‘Honest Mistake’” and chuckled. It is by far their defining track and is the epitome of dance-rock. It is the track that put me and most of the fans there onto the band. It had to be played, and they closed out their set with it and “Swollen Summer” (both from their debut album).

At this point, Sam addressed the audience stating, “this is the time where we would normally run off stage and you would clap real loud and we would come back, so just pretend we are coming back on stage.” The crowd cheered wildly and they they proceeded directly into their “encore.” Personally, I’m split on the faux-encore. It seems that now-a-days, an encore is expected, no matter the circumstances. For this reason, Sam needed to at least address the “encore” issue. But there is something to say for the brief pause of entertainment reminding you that you want more. On the otherhand, the ritual takes 15 minutes out of the band’s and the crowd’s time, when everybody knows that there will be more music. If you feel strongly one way or the other, I’d love to see your comments.

The encore was “Split Me Wide Open” (Track 10), “Tragedy Bound” and “Unconditional.” Overall it was a 15 song show that was just a ton of fun. The crowd was a big part of it, but the band took their expectations and didn’t disappoint.

The next time they come back around this area will be on August 15th at Riverbend in Cincy.
