Syrian lingerie has long been popular throughout the Middle East. Recently, it gained popularity in Europe also with the the art and culture interest of  the Prince Claus Fund’s Research in the Netherlands that led to a fabulous book: “The Secret Life of Syrian Lingerie, Intimacy and Design” and an art exhibition in Kunsthal Rotterdam. Yet more publicity came from BBC World News and popular publications such as Spiegel online. Links to videos of BBC’s interesting interview with the author of the book are attached.

Amusing Lingerie by Figgy is the first company to introduce Syrian lingerie to the United States.
