Gas Hot Water heaters

Why do my Polite light keep going out ?
1. Check to see if the gas is on at the Water Heater and out side meter (easy over look)
2. Could be a bad thermo coupling
3. Thermostat control valve malfunctioning
4. If the Hot Water Heater flue pipeis connected to the same main flue pipe
That the furnace is hook to. When the furnace kicks on
It can blow out the polite light with back pressure.
5. Water heater in a very hot place. This is some thing that happens
in some parts of Texas like Houston. Where the hot water heater are install
In the attic. The attic can get very hot so hot that it well shut off the
hot water heater. The newer Hot Water Heaters that they have out
Today have a safety device that will cut off the hot water heater completely
Just in case it over heats for your safety. The temperatures in the attic can easy
Assed the 200 or more degrees and the water heater will shut down at around 160 Degrees.
Some hot water heater Manufacture will tell you these hot water heater are not design for the
Attic. But luck has it that some Manufacture will send you out a part that will over ride the attic
Heat and keep your hot water heater functioning. If you have this problem look on the side of your
Hot Water Heater and get the 1-800 Number give them a call and the manufactory will help you.

Not Getting enough hot water
1. Dip tub inside Hot Water Heater is broken off.
2. Thermostat control valve malfunctioning
3. Very old water heater with calcium built up inside (replace Water Heater)

Hot Water Heater making Loud popping Noise
1. To much calcium built in hot water heater
( You can flush the Hot Water Heater out, But that not a guarantee fix
And can be a difficult job. Save Time have it replace)

You don’t have the time or the resources to evaluate every applicant who strolls in. to guide your w

You don’t have the time or the resources to evaluate every applicant who strolls in. to guide your work, you should develop a profile of your “ideal” candidate. You may never find your ideal, but you will establish a basic framework that outlines the person you are looking for.

Developing an ideal candidate profile is similar to viewing a lineup of suspects after you’ve witnessed a bank robbery. The individual you pick out may not be the actual bank robber, but chances are the real criminal is strongly similar. Often, a lineup helps police establish the silhouette or basic framework of the person being sought. The police is clear even if the details are not. Likewise, your ideal candidate profile will give you a sharper idea of what you are really looking for, so that you can increase your odds of finding him or her.

Use the following outline to develop of profile of your ideal candidate:

Must have, or have done, or be able to do:

Experience: type and years

Industry: type, or specific companies, and years

Skills or talents

Education

Should have, or have done, or be able to do:

Experience: type and years

Industry: type, or specific companies, and years

Education

Would be nice to have, or have done, or be able to do:

Experience: type and years

Industry: type, or specific companies, and years

Skills or talents

Education

Be specific when you draft your outline. If you want someone with strong follow-up skills, say so. If you want an assertive person who can handle high stress, say so. To create a good match between job and candidate, you need to define the person as closely as you define the job.

Keep your company culture in mind, too. If your company is team-oriented and flexible, you want a candidate who is comfortable with teamwork—and not everyone is. If your department is highly structured, you want someone who works well in a structured situation. Describe the qualities that your company values so that you can find compatible candidates.

Just remember that defining the candidate is a lot like shopping for groceries: the more you toss into your shopping cart, the more you’ll pay. The cost of filling a job is influenced by two factors: how long it takes to find the candidate, and the supply of qualified candidates. The greater the number of must have items on your list, the longer it’s going to take to find that person. The greater the experience, skills, or education requirements, the smaller the supply of candidates and the larger the compensation package required to hire the person.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a national holiday tradition, and has been so for the past 83 years, and this year the tradition continued.

This year, the parade route returns to its roots with it ending at 34th street right in front of the Macy’s store. This is different than it has been in recent years.

There is a list of performers that include Katharine McPhee, Jane Krakowski, and we have Spiderman, Kermit and Spongebob floating down the parade route. Ziggy Marley, the son of the legendary Reggae singer Bob Marley, performed a song with his daughter on a float decorated as a pirate ship.

Ziggy Marley and Daughter awaiting performance at Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade today

Ziggy performed his new song ”It’s Family Time” while holding his daughter in his arms so she could reach the mike…very cute.

Katharine McPhee, sporting her new sassy blonde ‘do, performed her new single “Had It All.” Jane Krakowski performed a Christmas tune. She may play a ditzy spoiled celeb on “30 Rock,” but in real-life Krakowski is quite the songbird.

Teen superstar Miley Cyrus made an exuberant appearance waving to her throngs of excited fans that lined the parade route waiting patiently for the international superstar. She looked great, in light of the bush crash tragedy that killed her long time tour bus driver this past friday. Today was much happier times for her.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade aired on CBS and NBC at noon ET/9 am PT.

We have had quite a few requests to provide décor ideas to hide unsightly air conditioning units in

We have had quite a few requests to provide décor ideas to hide unsightly air conditioning units in gardens. Badec Bros Deco specializes in feature walls, such as gabion feature walls. These designer walls are ideal to hide air conditioning units, unsightly views, or ugly old walls, without having to remove the existing wall.

We manufacture our gabion walls from 30mm x 3mm angle iron, which is welded together to ensure a strong frame. Then we weld strong, steel mesh onto the frame to create the shape of the wall. Once the hollow wall structure has been manufactured, we install it on site and fill it with pebbles, slate stone or chunky quartzite gravel.

Alternatively, we can also construct mild steel feature walls and add intricate detail to the surface of the steel to decorate it. There are three finishes to choose from. We can powder coat the feature wall in any colour imaginable, or we can apply mild steel finish or a rusted finish. Our powder coating is SABS approved.

Badec Bros Deco can also manufacture mild steel screens. These screens can be used to create privacy or to hang Cubedec hanging pots or hanging sculptures onto. We can customize our mild steel screens to any size and shape and with a wide range of finishes, such as powder coating in any colour, mild steel finish or a rust effect or even wooden cladding.

Should you wish to have your very own signature Cubedec feature wall, steel dustbin, interactive sculpture, Cubedec shelving, Cubedec miniature Zen garden box, 2010 Soccer World Cup décor, mild steel lamp shade, mild steel screen, Cubedec laser-cut logo, gabion counter, narration stand, gabion light cage, gabion bollard, gabion water feature, sculptured living wall, sculptured flagpoles, unique pot and drip tray, customized sculpture, Cubedec bench, trendy steel décor with your company logo emblazoned on it, mild steel inspirational slogan, steel laser-cut signage, mild steel mould, Cubedec Pot, hanging sculpture, gabion pot, gabion wall or gabion terrace, wooden or steel feature poles, bar code trellis, Cubedec water feature, pergola, arch, sculpture or trellis, please feel free to contact our energetic and knowledgeable sales representative, Mareleen van Zijl, on her cell phone at 078 800 5112, the office number at 012 460 7990, or via e-mail at mareleen@badecbros.com

She will gladly arrange an appointment with you to listen to your ideas and to stun you with our own creative ideas! You dream it, we manufacture it!

Today was fill number two. It was the same procedure as before yet I came away with two more cc

Today was fill number two. It was the same procedure as before yet I came away with two more cc’s in my band for a total of 6. I have high hopes that this is the spot I need to be at and soon results will be much more dramatic. My doctor was confused at how I could be so hungry after the last fill since it was done so proactively and he was surprised at my comfort with the 6 cc’s. In his opinion it is on the high end of being full and a lot of people with that much in their band start to notice some of the bad side-effects. We will see how it works for me. I can go back anytime for adjustments but otherwise it will be six weeks until I see him again.

Today in the office I ran into a girl who had the same surgery date as I did. She started out at a higher weight than I did and has lost 45 pounds already. That is over 28 pounds more than me, so I was depressed and embarrassed by my lack of results. Hopefully it is a little more motivation for me to work harder.

I have not stuck to the “plan” as I should. I have been eating pretty much as I did before – just less. I can’t continue to eat the same types of foods I eat. I must eat lean meats and make low-fat, low-cal choices. If I want to lose this weight in a healthy but expeditive manner I will need to put forth much more effort and realize I was given a tool, not a quick-fix.

The rules are as follows. Water, at least 64 ounces a day. I can usually get this and more in a day with little problem. Exercise, at least 20 minutes a day. I am definitely not there yet, but I have been trying. I found a treadmill to use and a weight machine; it is just getting there to use it. I can think of a hundred excuses not to do it any given day, but when I have found the time and energy I have really been happy with myself; so I hope to work harder on the exercise and get into a routine. Protein, 60 to 80 grams of protein every single day. This is not an easy feat, so supplementing with pure protein is recommended and needed. Of course, if you stick to this plan you can calmly deal with the final rule: No Snacking. No comment.

Three small meals a day with nothing in between besides water, water and a little more water. I have not been at the point where I was able to do this yet. I have usually been eating 2 large meals and a few snacks in between; Halloween was last week – enough said. For someone addicted to comfort food the protein first rule has been very difficult also. I have been eating my protein in yummy casserole dishes; shepherd’s pie, pot pie, and sandwiches; oh you scrumptious sandwiches. After all that delicious food I crave and then eat to fulfull those cravings; there is no room or desire left for pure protein shakes – yuck!

It’s a long and tough journey and I am just beginning. I don’t plan to berrate myself too long and hard after wrong turns. I plan to learn and live – a new life with new rules. I expect slow progress at times and slip-ups but I desire a quick fix, in order to meet in the middle I am going to have to put forth some effort, not just some, A LOT of effort. That is new.

Today is our anniversary. I’ve spent most of it sleeping on the couch. No we’re not fighting. We’re sick.

This nightmare of a week started Tuesday when I was teaching. I had the “got a bit of a tickle cough” going on. Only to wake up Wednesday with a heck of a temp. We’re talking 102 when I left early from the office. After a nice nap on the couch I went to my psych follow-up (part of the lap band program) and didn’t feel well at all there then it was off to the walk in clinic my primary care dr office offers. I was so not happy with this experience. Let’s just say that for people who are not feeling well sitting ALONE in a waiting area for two flipping hours makes you feel so much better.

Anyway, once I was seen by the triage nurse she told me to talk to the lap people. Um, ok. Let me word this carefully. Getting my nostril pierced hurt less than getting my nasal passage swabbed. Then because that went so well the lab lady decided that my throat should be swabbed as well. Yippee. At least these tests were of the rapid variety. Both came up negative for flu and strep respectively. Back to the exam room. Dr comes in. Dr says “well the tests were negative so looks like it’s viral. Want a note for work?” I really think that my eye was starting to twitch after that one. So two hours waiting and about five minutes being seen I get a note for work and an order to call them if it gets worse and I can come back in (for another copay). Not happening. I went straight to bed only to wake up at about 2am with a temp of 103.2 and seeing sparkly things. Good times.

Cool shower and sleeping on the couch helped to pull that temp down to a more manageable 100 or so. Only to have to go to the surgeon’s office to get my first fill. I waited five weeks for this I was going come hell-or-high-water. Yeah, did attempted to do that. Apparently the port where they inject the saline into the band has shifted somehow and I have to get my fill under x-ray. But the lady that schedules these isn’t in until Monday. Just getting better isn’t it. Going back home to bed.

Silly me thought that I could teach that night. HA! Ok, it’s not like I could call and get a sub so I went in. Got home and you betcha… 102 again. Ugh. See a pattern yet? Stayed in bed Friday. All day. It would have been nice except now in addition to the fever I’m producing enough green garbage to sink a small barge. Fast forward to today. Sunday. Anniversary. Yeah, right. He got a mini quiche breakfast because it was super easy and I felt bad about not doing anything else for the poor man… and back to bed. I’ve got to go into work tomorrow. Not sure how that will go but it will be done. Prayer heals, right? Yeah, let’s try that.

I cooked up this corn shot in 5 minutes as I about to prepare dinner.

I was after a close-up shot of someone about to devour my corn. You know what I mean: hands gripping the thing, teeth ready to attack, eyes wide open.

As for the lighting I set up a 430EXII through a white shoot through umbrella, and a Vivi 285HV bounced into a silver umbrella for fill.

It then only needed a touch of Photoshop with a hint of the liquify tool to exaggerate.

I love to put my ideas to the table as fresh as possible. The second it enters my thoughts the lens cap is already off.

Got a team member who’s a pain in the neck? Struggling with an employee who gives you headaches? S

Got a team member who’s a pain in the neck? Struggling with an employee who gives you headaches? Suffering some heartburn after hiring someone to fill a position on your team? You’re in luck! The clinic is open, and the doctor is in!

Much of the time, we address the symptoms of our problems (the pain in our neck, the headache, the heartburn) rather than their sources. That approach gives temporary relief, but it usually creates more problems than it solves in the long run. For example, taking an aspirin deals with the headache, but it does nothing to deal with what caused it. The headache may have been the warning sign of a more serious problem. A band-aid may cover up the bruise, but if we keep banging our knee, the bruises will keep popping up. Dealing with sources rather than symptoms will lead you to better solutions.

I’m going to make a bold claim. Any performance problem you are struggling with on your team can be traced to one of five sources. Knowing these sources helps you to quickly diagnose your problems and prescribe treatment. Together, these sources make up the Performance Pill, a tool for curing what ails your team. Let’s look at each source individually. (You’ll notice I’ve taken some rhyming license to make these fit together. Please don’t accuse me of malpractice.)

INSTILL
“Instill” problems occur when we fail to instill our performers with expectations, knowledge and feedback related to their work. Many times, our expectations are silent. We forget to make them clear at the beginning of a task, or we assume that the performer should know them. Sometimes the performers don’t have enough information to do what we ask them to do. And sometimes, we neglect to give them feedback about a task to let the performer know if they are on the right track or not. The solution rests solely on our shoulders for this type of problem. If we haven’t equipped our performers with expectations, knowledge and feedback, we’ve set them up to fail.

SKILL
“Skill” problems occur when performers have not yet developed the talent to do the task. The solution is simple. The performer either needs training or practice (with lots of feedback). But be careful…this is the most common misdiagnosis for performance problems. Managers love to send their performers to training to “fix them.” Why? Because it’s easy, and someone else will do it for me. It may be easy, but it’s also expensive – in money, in time and sometimes in your relationship (not everyone wants to be sent to training).

HILL
“Hill” problems occur when an obstacle (something they can’t get over) blocks good performance. The obstacle could be a system problem, a lack of authority, a policy or procedure, a lack of resources… Even other people can become obstacles to good performance. Whatever the “hill” is, it’s out of the performer’s control. Either you or someone else with the authority to deal with it must move it out of the way.

WILL
“Will” problems occur when a performer doesn’t want to do what you want them to do. People are not motivated to perform in a certain way for a variety of reasons, but they almost always have to do with consequences. Sometimes people are rewarded for doing the wrong things. Sometimes they are punished for doing the right things. Sometimes, it doesn’t matter one way or the other what they do, because no one notices. And sometimes it may matter, but it doesn’t matter enough to the performer. The solution for “will” problems is to make it matter. Find consequences (both positive and corrective) that the performer cares about, and implement them. If appropriate consequences are already in place, intensify them.

REFILL
“Refill” problems occur when a performer does not have the ability to do the job or does not respond to increased consequences intended to improve “will” problems. The solution is to “refill” the position with a candidate who does have the ability and the motivation to do the job. However, avoid jumping to an early diagnosis in this area. All other sources should be explored and addressed before coming to the conclusion that a performer is in the wrong job.

Feel better yet? If not, take two and call me in the morning.

Yesterday was fill number one. After arriving early for the last appointment of the day and finally

Yesterday was fill number one. After arriving early for the last appointment of the day and finally being seen by the doctor an hour later – even his office assistant and most other staff had gone home for the day – I received my first fill.

As I may have mentioned before a fill requires a needle – a large needle – to be stabbed into the port sewn into my side under the skin, mine is under my right breast, and dangerously close to my lungs if you ask me. Suffice it to say I was a little nervous. Most people don’t like needles, some may even say they hate them; I live on the extreme of this spectrum. I have passed out more times than I can count; usually in connection with a needle, blood or medical-type environment.

When I was seven my mom allowed me to get my ears pierced. Actually it was her idea! We had been standing in the grocery store line when an older gentleman started up a conversation with us. The only part of the conversation I remember is “and what do you think about that little guy?” I had no way of politely answering the man since my entire life just ended. It was later that exact same day mom and I were picking out my Pink Tourmaline posts. The dots were drawn on with a fine-tipped marker and the gun lined up onto my right ear first. The sharp hot pain was unexpected and unwelcome and I decided right then I did not want 2 earrings that day or any day ever. I begged to go to the bathroom, trying to make my mom and the gun-toter believe I was going to pee my pants this second if they didn’t allow it. They didn’t allow it. As soon as the second earring was in they reminded me of my urgent need to go to the restroom; where I admired the amazing new accessories with a huge grin on my face. The hot sting was still there but the nervousness was gone. I calmly walked out of the bathroom and up to the counter to where my mom was paying by check. As I waited their voices grew dim and the light turned to black; the next thing I know they are yelling at me to wake up and I am bawling with hot pain in my earlobe and dull thudding pain in my cranium.

So, maybe you believe I get a little more nervous than most. Fainting feels like dying (I think) and I am not eager to experience it again, and haven’t since about the age of 17.

I explained to my doctor that I was ‘freaked out’ and his response “don’t be” made everything better. He unwrapped the saline filled plunger and twisted on the 16 inch needle. He then shot saline out of the end toward the wall like the deranged blood thirsty monster he is. He quickly drove the needle home. The pain was about as bad as a blood draw, and as soon as it was in I was much less freaked out.

He completely filled the band as I drank Aquifina from a straw and when I felt the water coming back up my esophogus he stopped. He then withdrew the saline until I felt the water drain out of my esophagus and at that point my fill was complete. The sensation was not unpleasant or uncomfortable but very unusual. At that he quickly withdrew the needle – which was unpleasant – and sent me on my way with a 2-day liquid diet and orders to return in 6 weeks or sooner if I got too hungry and was ready for another fill.

Yeah, I will be back real soon.

There are two main methods which you can use to plant your plants into our exclusive range of Cubede

There are two main methods which you can use to plant your plants into our exclusive range of Cubedec steel décor pots. You can either plant indirectly in plastic liners or stackers, or you can plant directly.

Firstly, we can customize your Cubedec pot according to three different sized plastic liners. The sizes available are 25cm, 32cm and 55cm in diameter. We can construct circular rims in your steel pot to ease the adding and removing of the plastic liners. Therefore, you can change the plants in your pots at any time without any hassle.

Alternatively, we can customize your steel décor pot to suit a square stacker, measuring 28cm in diameter.

For direct planting, we fabricate a 3cm lip at the bottom of the pot and lay a steel plate over that. Then we drill holes in the steel plate to enable ventilation. This steel plate also forms the base for your plants. Then we rubberize the entire inner surface of the pot, to enhance protection of the steel.

Firstly, you need to lay down a layer of gravel to facilitate drainage. Then you can fill your pot with potting soil and plant your selected plant into the pot. In the past we have constructed a 1m³ gabion basket, which we planted with trees. We lined the sides of the basket with weed guard cloth to prevent weeds from sprouting and growing.

The suggested planting method is planting in a liner or stacker, as it facilitates removal of plants, should you wish to change your plants. It will also reduce the natural wear and tear on your Cubedec pot. This proves once again that Badec Bros Deco manufactures truly versatile products.

Should you wish to have your very own signature Cubedec pot, green screens, man-hole grid, range of planters for a shopping centre, modern pergola, Cubedec steel dustbin, interactive sculpture, Cubedec shelving, Cubedec miniature Zen garden box, 2010 Soccer World Cup décor, mild steel lamp shade, mild steel screen, Cubedec laser-cut logo, gabion counter, narration stand, gabion light cage, gabion bollard, gabion water feature, sculptured living wall, sculptured flagpoles, unique pot and drip tray, customized sculpture, Cubedec bench, trendy steel décor with your company logo emblazoned on it, mild steel inspirational slogan, steel laser-cut signage, mild steel mould, hanging sculpture, gabion pot, gabion wall or gabion terrace, wooden or steel feature poles, bar code trellis, Cubedec water feature, arch, sculpture or trellis, please feel free to contact our energetic and knowledgeable sales representative, Mareleen van Zijl, on her cell phone at 078 800 5112, the office number at 012 460 7990, or via e-mail at mareleen@badecbros.com

I am 6 weeks post-op lap-band surgery. If you aren’t familiar, the lap-band is a plastic devi

I am 6 weeks post-op lap-band surgery. If you aren’t familiar, the lap-band is a plastic device placed around the stomach to restrict food consumption. There is a port sewn under the skin into which saline is injected in order to fill the lap-band and increase restriction. After surgery the band is actually empty for approximately 6 weeks to allow for healing; and slowly over the next year it is filled until a perfect restriction point is reached. I am 3 days away from my first fill.

How do they fill this lap-band you might ask? With a big damn needle – I am told. The band I have only holds 10 cc. of saline – not very much; and they say I may need up to 8 fills (or more) to get it tight enough so that I am not eating too much food at any one sitting. I understand they do this for a couple of reasons: 1.) To better estimate the exact point of the perfect fill – since each person is very different- and, 2.) To prevent injury to the stomach. It is frustrating to be at a stand-still like I am now. Knowing the process is just slowly beginning, losing no weight and the medical bills have started to roll in. Fill ‘er up and give me my money’s worth!

So, YES to all of you who notice the nice cake picture down below and maybe shake your heads at the apparent contradiction in my posts. I did have birthday cake – but it was my birthday…and I limited it to one piece, and I hope that next year I will have either shed the weight so I don’t have to worry about one piece of cake – OR will have eaten one bite of that devine chocolateness and put the fork down and pushed the plate aside.
