Wednesday I had a wonderful day quilting with some of the members of the Portland Modern Quilt Guild.  We had an incredibly productive day and finished 3 quilt tops and also threw a quilt up on the long arm. 311 more words

I did something a little outside of my comfort zone and joined an Instagram Mini Swap! Schnizel and Boo’s, to be precise. I thought it would make a fun blog post to show my progress shots as documentation of the entire quilting process. 302 more words

It has been so long since I’ve made a blog post that I was tempted to just give up on blogging altogether. When looking through the pictures on my phone the other day I realized how many projects I’ve done since leaving Korea in July – so many that I’d started to forget them all. 492 more words

And that’s five!  I am especially happy with the quilting on this one.  I used both yellow and green threads, with some green lines in each of the yellow areas, and some yellow lines in the green areas, then green for the free motion portions of design on the yellow.  265 more words

So with my one day of quilting before my next trip, I have finished two more placemats.  I am happy with the quilting, which was the original purpose of the placemats.  236 more words
