I even found out that Sportball does birthday parties! Can this place get any better? Francis has a birthday coming up and with all the new friends he’s been making at both school and Sportball I could not think of a better place to spend the afternoon. They literally take care of everything from start to finish for 2 full hours! Now that’s a break any parent can use when they have 10 kids running around non-stop at a birthday party.

Honestly every time I bring my kids I find out something new that sportball offers while watching my kids have an absolute blast. I meet new parents and get to talk with them not only about our kids and sportball but it allows us to sit back, relax and converse with other adults without having the stress of watching over our kids. Sunday morning coffees while watching our kids laugh and have fun is great.

I am truly happy I entered my kids into this program and will continue to do so!

I was never the best athlete growing up as a kid and I remember the everyday pressures from my parents and kids at school to perform well in sports. Being chosen last and not being the popular kid in school is something I definitely don’t want my kids to experience. I have 2 boys ages 8 and 11, believe me I would’ve loved for them to be all-star natural athletes but even at a young age it was clear to me that they were not gifted with natural athletic abilities.

They enjoyed playing sports just as I had when I was younger but it was easy to see that they’re profession would not be that of a professional athlete. Therefore continuing to play sports would be a difficult road ahead. Because of my experiences as a teenager, struggling through gym class and other extra-curricular sports, I never pressured them and was naturally concerned and weary of them joining any clubs or teams.

Recently my eldest son Joseph had heard of Sportball Quebec after seeing their facebook page on one of his friends’ pages. He was overly excited and enthusiastic about taking part in this organizations events that are for kids at any skill level. Obviously this sounded intriguing to me and also to my youngest son Francis who is 8. I looked into Sportbal by visiting their website and although at first I had some concerns I continued reading what they were all about and decided this is something worth giving a shot.

They provide a fundamental basis for all sports in a non-competitive, fun, active and educational setting. My wife of course is also very excited that the costs low and affordable, we will be bringing both our kids out for their first time this week! Wish us luck.
