Are you a Club Secretary playing for a London cricket club? If so, are you looking for more 2013 fixtures where you can play champagne cricket, in picturesque village surroundings with afternoon tea made by Mary Berry herself?

If so, you’ve come to the wrong place. We don’t have a ground, we don’t know Mary Berry and our skills have been honed in the long hard winter at Paddington Recreation Ground. However, what we can provide is a decent 35/40-over weekend standard of social cricket, played at your ground (with us paying our share of the tea) but bringing some real ale to compliment post-match proceedings. On a side note, we welcome and actively encourage WAGs to attend our matches.

Fitzpatricks Golf Society will hold it’s second outing of 2013 on Saturday May 11th at Greenore Golf Club. The first tee has been booked for 10.00 am.

The outing is sponsored by Bradley Pharmacys and will see Joe McCarthy try to defend the shield he won in 2012.

The competition is Singles Stableford. If you are interested in coming along, please contact Barry (087) 6487432 or any member of the committee.

The outing will cost €30 for golf – members of Greenore play golf for free. Prizes will be presented after a meal in Fitzpatricks Bar & Restaurant at 5.30pm sharp.

A Committee Meeting will be held in Fitzpatricks Bar & Restaurant on Wednesday May 8th at 8:30pm to organise the outing.
