Sehr schön: Es gibt ausführliche Anleitungen in deutsch, was dem jugendlichem Nachwuchs erlaubt, einen 30-Jahre-Zeitsprung zu unternehmen und herauszufinden, was die Eltern damals so gefesselt haben könnte. In the past, whenever you feel bored, there are not a lot of things to do other than to get a book, be a little more productive or just sleep. These activities are really helpful but admit it, kids and some adults would not really find these entertaining.

Reading aids in improving your imagination but only a few books could really peak your interest. Children today are very lucky indeed as with high technology, they have entertaining toys that were not present before.

The best example for this would be the internet. Parents must be a little envious of the toys their children have now.

The toys that are being sold in the market now are pumped up by technology that makes the possibilities of designs and features limitless. Of course, one really important tool that children really love is computers.

You could do several things with just a computer equipped with a stable Internet connection. For adults, online shopping and researching for information are the top two activities that they do but for children, it is playing online games.

Some websites require membership fee for the users to download unlimited games and play those from their computers. It is normal for these websites to allow a one hour period for trial downloads.
There are some websites that offer multiple tries for each game, giving you the opportunity to play the game a bit more before you decide whether to spend on it or not. If you do not want to download any online game to your computer because of the fear of possible viruses, you can still enjoy flash games.
This type of computer game can be played without the need for downloading. These games will instantly load on a page after clicking on the link provided by the website.
People can enjoy flash games more because these are free. For this reason, companies take advantage of flash games and use them to advertise their products.
In the cyber space, there are hundreds of websites with numerous flash games being offered for free to its users. These games can be played multiple times but since they are shorter versions of downloadable games, some of the features are limited.
Full versions are available in a lot of websites but most of these should be paid for before you can have access.

Procrastination is a tough job! With the impending doom that is assignments looming, I find myself looking for new ways to delay the inevitable. Thankfully, there’s a realm of flash games that are just begging for you to dedicate your (supposedly) free time. While these games tend to be free, the production values, dedication and love that goes into each of them takes them far beyond the abundance of identikit games that are produced to make a quick profit. The kind of games that pollute a specific genre, early 90s it was platformers, early 2000s it was kart racers before morphing into party games and now games with novelty values (Nintendo Wii I’m looking directly at you although that doesn’t excuse the Playstation 3’s sixaxis or Mircosoft’s Project Natal).

But rambling aside, there are some truly magnificent and fun games to play and they’re free too. Here’s a couple of examples that spring to mind:

Achievement unlocked: Try to discover 100 different achievements which range from changing the color of your elephant, moving, pausing the game, killing yourself and, you know, actually playing the game.

Also worth a mention is it’s sequel, This is the only level. Both are incredibly fun and silly in their own right.

Portal: the Flash Version: Based on Valve’s classic game, it incorporates the game’s mechanics perfectly and shows it could easily work on a handheld if Valve ever get round to the bloody idea!

Demolition City 2: Because everyone enjoys destroying buildings! Try to demolish buildings below a certain height by placing charges, simple as…or is it?

Toss the Turtle: Try firing your turtle as far as possible by cannon, jet pack, guns as well as avoiding the many obstacles that litter your path. Seeing your turtle become bloodied and beaten is fun in a masochistic kind of way! Also the turtle does remind me of squirtle from the Pokemon series (if you hate them, it’s perhaps an added bonus you can brutally maim him by landing him in spikes)

Time Fcuk: Clever puzzle game where you manipulate time and your environment to progress through each level. Becomes tricky very quickly and will require a lot of thought to make it through the final stages.

Canabalt: Possibly inspired by freerunning and quite retro in its appearance, run along the roofs of buildings and try to cover as far a distance as you can by avoiding as many obstacles as you can. Randomly generated levels mean you never play the same game twice.

Miami Shark: With the viciousness of Jaws and the gracefulness of Flipper, eat and destroy everything in the water by gulping swimmers, destroying yachts and banana boats and dragging down jumbo jets.

Tetris 4′D: One can only imagine the kind of nightmares Alexey Pajitnov must have had for the past 25 years. Avoid being crushed by the falling tetris blocks by your dexterous stick man character and try and live for as long as you can.

Forever Samurai: Seems like yet another action platformer but its use of the mouse to attack by tapping the button or drawing lines gives the game one of the most fluid attack systems for any games and makes a somewhat cliched game feels completely fresh and original. Frame rate can become jittery at times but the game itself more than makes up for it.

I’m aware I’ve focus mostly on action games at the moment but hopefully when I get some free time, I can refine the list and include more.

The Forest Temple it’s an unusually platform puzzle with two heros FireBoy and WaterGirl, help them in their adventure! Control both characters at the same time.

Rave Rider it’s really cool online racing game on atv car, you will see so exciting tracks.

Your goal, in Bucketball 2 very simple, you must put all balls into buckets of the corresponding colors. It’s a nice online logic game.

Shapely a free calm online puzzle game. There is no time-limit, no need to rush… just build shapes from tiles.

Pong is a classic game, but Pwong 2 puts a new spin on it. Pwong 2 ups how it’s played.

In Pwong 2, there’s 3 categories:

Normal
Extreme and
Insane.

You play by moving your mouse which moves your paddle. When you get a falling dot-ish thing, you get a power-up or ammo. Left-clicking uses one unit of ammo.

Each has a couple sub-games that vary difficulty. Pwong 2 keeps the basic gameplay of pong the same, with a couple of twists. Pwong 2 sends a barrage of balls at you, that you return to the computer (like in regular pong). To aid your battle, you get ammo and power-ups.

Might not sound a lot different, but it is. Pwong 2 also has some pretty good graphics, with glow effects. It also has some pretty good music.

You score when the computer (or other player in 2 player) misses the ball. You loose points when you miss the ball. After the game has ended your -total- score is ranked in-game.

Anyway onto the game review…

Pwong 2 keeps the basic, move the paddle system of regular pong, but adds some new things, like multiple balls on the screen, ammo, and power-ups. Nothing special, but it’s keeps the game simple, yet appealing. The graphics are very nice, with occasionally shifting colors, and glow effects.

Pwong should appeal to the pong-lovers and people looking for a nice arcade game.

There comes a moment (or a few moments) for a lot of us in which we'll do just about anything to pass the time. Or perhaps you just love to play online games. In either case, the web is full of options when it comes to such a form of entertainment. Flash is one of the most popular types of game on the internet today – and better yet, they're usually free.

Puzzle flash games are in a category of their very own. For those who like to strategically think and solve things, this is the type of game for you. Groovy Java has a great selection of unique puzzle-type games, though not necessarily jigsaw puzzles. If you're into those, Flash Puzzle Zone is a good place to start.

One of the happening things for online flash games has been Point-and-Click games. For those who haven't the slightest clue as to what these are, they're basically a game where you use the mouse to click on things to progress. There isn't one type of category in these types of games, but more often than not they seem to be some kind of mystery. Much of the time, you have to click on items or areas in the game to pick things up or find hidden objects in order to get anywhere or solve the puzzle. 

Something that's become big over the past couple of years has been the “Escape the Room” games, which are also a type of Point-and-Click. These have become so huge, in fact, that it's developed into its very own category when it comes to online flash games – there's a giant selection of these at Gamer's Hood. For other types of Point-and-Click games, that very same site has a wide variety.

These are just a scratch on the surface when it comes to all the flash games you can dig up from the web. Just type “flash games” into a search engine, and you should never have trouble finding a free flash game website that best suits your tastes.

As I have been spending a lot of time with my laptop recently there has been an interesting development in my life. Flash games. After a hard day of  application form research it’s good to distract yourself with something a little different. I could read a book – too involved, I could run round the park – best in the morning, or I could get on with my knitting – more on that later. No, Flash games have got me by the throat so here are a few of my favourites:

Fantastic Contraption – Get the pink thing into its pink box by making weird and wonderful machines.

Electric Box – Think outside the box to complete the circuit.

Headspin Storybook – Pretty graphics in a soothing spot-the-difference world.

Crush The Castle – Smash Mediaeval stuff with a trebuchet

No post passado foram mostrados alguns jogos em Flash que além de criativos parecem ser jogos desenvolvidos para Desktop devido ao seu realismo de efeitos.

Atualmente os jogos em Flash estão sendo bastante requisitados por portais, sites e agências buscando desenvolver advergames, fazendo com que a demanda de profissionais especializados neste seguimento seja alta.
