Abraham Hodari, Caitlin Bruce part of national debate after forced abortion lawsuit
By Laura Angus | Flint Journal
November 29, 2009, 12:00PM

FLINT, Michigan — Abraham A. Hodari became a doctor because he wanted to be able to heal children’s hearts, but ended up abandoning his plans to become a pediatric surgeon because some cases were “too depressing.”

He now is one of the most high-profile abortion doctors in the state — a man praised by his medical peers and protested by pro-life activists.
Now, Hodari is at the center of a new controversy involving a Fenton Township woman who claims that the doctor held her down and forced her to have an abortion at his Flint clinic when she was 18.

“I wanted it to stop, but it didn’t. I wanted a child, but I didn’t have one,” said Caitlin Bruce, now 20.

Hodari and his lawyer maintain he was well into the procedure when she expressed misgivings, and he had to continue for her safety.
Both Hodari and Bruce have witnesses to support their claims.

Both also now find themselves the focus of headlines and blogs across the country.

And, both say they are a victim — one by her doctor and the other by overzealous protesters.
•••••
Bruce debated for several weeks what to do before going on April 9, 2008, to the WomanCare clinic, also known as the Feminine Care Center, on Saginaw Street in Flint.

She was a high school dropout with no job, six-weeks pregnant and scared.

Bruce worried she wouldn’t have enough support from her family to become a mother.

As she sat alone at the clinic and waited for her turn, she looked at pictures from a recent ultrasound. When her name was called, she said she told Hodari she was unsure about the procedure.

She said she told him she changed her mind.

Bruce claims in a civil lawsuit that Hodari and an assistant held her down and covered her mouth as she screamed for them to stop while Hodari aborted her fetus.

A written statement reportedly provided by another worker in Hodari’s office and contained in the lawsuit, claims that the doctor told an upset Bruce “I’m not going to do this. I’m going to send you home” before going through with the abortion.

The employee wrote that Hodari grinned as he completed the procedure, according to court documents.

Bruce said Hodari’s employees gave her a juice box when it was over.
•••••
Hodari was born in France and his family moved to Argentina soon after he was born to escape the Nazis, he said in an e-mail from his lawyer in response to questions from The Flint Journal.

He entered medical school at the University of Buenos Aires in the 1950s, planning to be a pediatric surgeon, but had difficulty with the emotional toil of seeing children with irreversible heart conditions and switched his focus to obstetrics and gynecology.

In the 1970s, Hodari was serving as the OB/GYN residency program director for three hospitals as part of the Detroit-Macomb Hospital Corporation.

When abortions were legalized by the Supreme Court’s landmark Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, Hodari began performing early-term abortions.
He agreed to do so because he was worried about the “excessive number of illegal abortions that were being performed, wherein all too often complication, infections, sepsis, and death might occur,” he said.

After Medicaid stopped paying for abortions in 1977, Hodari decided to offer abortions in private clinics — which reduced the costs for patients and made them more accessible, especially to poorer women.

He started opening clinics in 1980 and went on to open six abortion clinics, including WomanCare in Flint.
•••••
Bruce said she is not a “money hound” — she wants “justice” for the baby she lost in Hodari’s abortion clinic.

She said she tried to kill herself soon after the abortion, and blamed herself for going to the clinic in the first place. After going through therapy, she realized she didn’t bring this upon herself and decided to file the lawsuit, she said.

She never sought criminal charges because was young and she knew it wouldn’t bring her baby back, she said.

“I just thought it was done and over with and what more could I do,” she said.

Bruce’s mother, Donna Bruce, said the family didn’t want to tell anyone about the abortion at first, but now want to protect other women from harm.

“The way she was fighting around and everything … it’s amazing that he didn’t hurt her,” she said.
Caitlin Bruce’s lawyer, Tom Pabst of Flint, said this isn’t an issue of pro-life or pro-choice — but of consent. His client didn’t want the procedure, but Hodari proceeded anyway, said Pabst.

“I have a problem with him turning into God and telling you want you can do with your body,” said Pabst.
•••••
Hodari rarely speaks to the media, but has been a nationally respected doctor since the 1960s.

The Bloomfield Hills doctor has earned more than a dozen awards over his career for his work in OB/GYN and abortion procedures, and speaks across the country to colleges and medical students.

“I have great satisfaction of what I do,” he said in a speech given to students at Wayne State University that can be seen on YouTube. “I never feel bad or worried about doing abortions.”

He is a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and has earned honors including the President’s Award Excellence in Medical Research from the college.

He declined to answer any specific questions about Bruce’s claims.

However, his lawyer has said Hodari had to continue with the procedure after Bruce changed her mind because he already had broken her water and she was bleeding.

Written statements from other employees in the room day also claim Hodari acted professionally and properly.
••••
Entire Web sites are devoted to detailing every court case involving Hodari.

Protesters have gone though his trash, taken photos of him driving his car and posted them on the Internet, and kept constant vigil outside his Saginaw Street clinic.

He has faced more than 20 civil lawsuits over the past two decades, according to court records in Oakland and Genesee counties.
“He’s nationally known because he’s barbaric,” said Judy Climer, president of Flint Right to Life.

In one widely publicized incident, pro-life activists sifted through the garbage at Hodari’s abortion clinics, where they claim they found aborted fetuses and medical records.

One of those protesters — Monica Miller, director of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, a national organization headquartered in Michigan — said Hodari is unique because he owns several abortion clinics rather than just one, and said he “represents the worst.”

“I think he’s in the abortion practice to make a lot of money,” she said. “For him it’s like a commercial franchise.”
Climer said the attention from pro-life activists shouldn’t be intimidating, “because if he’s obeying the law, he shouldn’t have anything to worry about.”
•••••
To protect his safety, his family and his employees, Hodari has installed 24-hour security cameras at his clinics and worn bullet-proof vests when giving public speeches at schools about abortions, he said.

“The threats and harassment are quite scary for him, his family, and his staff, and often his patients, as well,” said lawyer Steve Weiss of Bloomfield Hills.

Hodari said while he believes everyone has the right to express their beliefs, he thinks anti-abortion activists “have gone too far.”
He said women should be able to make health choices without “intimidating harassment.”

•••••
Four months after the abortion, Bruce and her boyfriend, Trumain Holmes of Flint, were expecting again. This time, she never considered an abortion.

Eva, a smiling and outgoing baby girl, was born May 31.

Bruce and Holmes, now 37, have been dating for four years and work together fixing up homes and renting them out to earn money.
Bruce also is planning on returning to school in the spring and lives with her mother and Eva in Fenton Township in a home filled with family pictures and toys for the baby.

Still, Bruce said she has anxiety because of the abortion and worries someone will come and take Eva away while she sleeps.
“Seeing how perfect my child is, could my other child have been just as perfect?” she said.

Allegations of misconduct brought against local doctor

FLINT (WJRT) — (11/23/09)–Allegations have been brought against a Flint doctor by a Genesee County teenager who says that doctor physically forced her to have an abortion.

She has filed a civil lawsuit against the doctor, and that lawsuit is now drawing national attention from anti-abortion groups.

It is a controversial lawsuit. Caitlin Bruce says she is seeking justice with the lawsuit she filed in June against the doctor who she says went to far.

That Flint doctor says he had no choice and did nothing wrong.

“They ripped the life out of me that day,” Bruce said.

Bruce was just 18 years old and 6 weeks pregnant when she says walked into the Feminine Health Care Clinic in Flint last year.

“I was nervous and I really didn’t have the moral support I needed. And I just didn’t know what to do,” Bruce said.

Bruce says she wrestled with her decision in the waiting room.

“They started the ultrasound. The lady turned the ultrasound toward me and said, ‘This is your baby. This is the heart flicker,’” Bruce said.

Bruce says that’s when she changed her mind. But she claims Dr. Abraham Hodari did the procedure anyway.

“He told his assistant, ‘Hold her down.’ They had my arm pinned,” Bruce said.

“His weight was all on my chest and then he took his hand and he had it so tight on my mouth that it was muffled. I was trying to scream, ‘Stop!‘

“I was screaming. I was crying. It felt like they were ripping a life out of me. When he was done, he looked at me. He gave me a smirk and he left he room.“

We tried to reach Hodari at his clinic on South Saginaw Street, but he wasn’t available.

In court documents, Hodari denies the plaintiff’s claims and says they are untrue and defends his actions, saying: “The surgical instrument was inside her uterus and she was already bleeding when she verbalized any misgivings.”

“My client acted properly under the circumstance. This was an abortion that was consented to,” said Steve Weiss, Hodari’s attorney.

“When the patient first expressed misgivings about it, it was too far along for Dr. Hodari to stop.”

Bruce’s lawyer admits Hodari has long been a target for anti-abortion groups, but he says that shouldn’t matter.

“This is shockingly wrong no matter what camp you’re in,” said Tom Pabst, the plaintiff’s attorney. “This shouldn’t have happened. If a woman says stop, it should’ve stopped.”

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton says he is not investigating this case for possible criminal charges.

No police report was filed.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Included in the suit are 6 counts against Hodari, including lack of informed consent/medical malpractice, battery, fraud, misrepresentation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and ethnic/gender intimidation.
Michigan has a statute that forbids intimidation based on gender or ethnicity. Ms. Bruce believes that Hodari forced the abortion on her because she is Black. Statistics show that the abortion industry disproportionately targets Black women. for more on this – watch a 2 hour fully documented film called: Maafa21 ( Clip Below)

It must be impossible to hold a group of people together and have the expectation that everyone will be on their best behavior.

Monday saw yet another concert for the West Coast duo, the New Boyz, end in violence, but this time it took place in downtown Roanoke, Virginia.

Reported earlier, the duo had to deal with a hostile crowd at the beginning of the month during a free concert in Flint, Michigan at the Genesee Valley Center Mall.

This time around, the event was a benefit concert that took place at the Red Clay Restaurant and was sponsored by Jammin’ WJJS.

Capacity must have been reached as people were forced outside the venue and things started to hit a downward spiral. Witnesses reported to News 7 that the local authorities started to douse the crowd with pepper spray as they waited in line.

“The police came and stated that it was over-capacitated and that they needed everyone to leave. We was still on the sidewalk with the kids and the police officers, they threatened the crowd to pepper spray, and so the crowd didn’t move. And then they maced us and they obtained some kids and it was just a lot of raucous going on and they had the street blocked off. It was just a lot of problems.”

There are always two completely different sides to a story as police spokeswoman Aisha Johnson denied the alleged account. According to Johnson, there was one man that was pepper sprayed and detained.

And people wonder why most things in life aren’t free. Anything that is given without anything expected in return results in chaos in some means. Why can’t people just sit back and enjoy the music? If it was at max capacity, does it really matter that certain people wouldn’t be let in? It’s not as though the view from the back would have helped make matters that much better.

Did you miss me? So did I. In this post, I’ll talk about the museum I visited the weekend before last and about flintknapping.

As I said, the weekend was a lot of fun. My father took me to visit the Connecticut Museum of Mining & Mineral Science in Kent, CT. There a man named John A. Pawloski spent a good deal of his time showing me the museum and teaching me about primitive technologies.

Courtesy of John A. Pawloski

The exterior of the museum was paved with bricks, but not in the usual way. Historically, brick makers have frequently imprinted their bricks with a mark indicating the manufacturer. Usually brick is laid so that this part is hidden. But at this museum, the brick marks are all turned outward so we can see them. That’s a good place to begin describing the character of the place. It’s about technology, but more fundamentally it’s about people. Everywhere you look it tells you a story not just about the way something worked, but who made it work and how it affected people. When I saw that, I felt I had really come to the right place.

First, John showed me around the museum. It’s amazing. A lot of work has gone into it and when John tells me about it I can hear in his voice that he is proud – as he should be. The mineral collection is beautiful, with samples far more impressive than I’ve seen at more famous museums. He told me about many improvements planned and in-the-works. It is an ongoing labor of love, and it definitely shows.

Here are some more photos (courtesy of John A. Pawloski). Click to enlarge:

Courtesy of John A. Pawloski

John is a primitive technologist. What that means can range from hobby to profession. I think in John’s case, it’s a little of both. It turns out there are many organizations devoted to studying, teaching, and practicing primitive technologies. Here are some links to the websites of a few of them:

http://www.primitive.org/

http://www.primitiveways.com/

http://www.neoanderthal.com/

http://www.onagocag.com/

Primitive technologists are frequently involved with experimental archeology. Experimental archeology seeks to learn about the distant past not just by examining artifacts but by actually trying to experience aspects of ancient life. Sound familiar? ;-) By making a concrete attempt to reconstruct a way of doing things conjectured based on material evidence, archeologists can discover which theories are plausible, from a practical standpoint, and which are not (i.e. “We have discovered, by trying it out, that this would not have been a practical way to do it.”). It is the same question of practical plausibility that leads archeologists to look at indigenous American cultures to help answer questions about cultures in the paleolithic era – using similar materials and pattern of subsistence, they are an example of a way of life that we know works.

Although I specifically asked about making stone tools (flintknapping), John told me a lot about all kinds of ways a paleolithic person might make tools (and other useful things). Tools can be made from plant parts, animal parts, stones, and combinations thereof. As discussed in a prior post, you can use vines for tying things and fibrous plants to make cord / rope, for tying things even better. You can also use sap, and other plant products, as an adhesive. And of course, woody plants give you … wood! Wood can be carved into all kinds of useful shapes. Soaking strips of wood in water can temporarily soften them so they can be bent into shape. Sticks and tree branches can often be used as-is. Wood, and dry leaves, also do something else very important. They burn. But there will be another post all about that. ;-)

Dead animals are also extremely useful for making things. Bones can be turned into cutting tools, skin can be used for clothing and as a covering for a shelter, and strips of skin can tie things together as can ligaments. Mollusk shells can be used for scraping or they can be fractured to form a sharp edge and used for cutting.

Finally, rocks. Rocks come in many varieties and shapes naturally, so you can often pick one up and find that it’s already a useful tool. At the very least many of them are good for banging on things to break or dent them. But some very useful rock shapes are hard to come by in nature, so humans have devised ways to reshape rocks to meet their needs. It’s called “flintknapping” and it amounts to chipping pieces off of rocks until they’re the right shape.

But the name is misleading. Flint is one type of rock, but there are many kinds of rock out there, often more plentiful than flint, that can be chipped with varying degrees of difficulty. Why does flint get all the fame and glory? It is easier to chip than many other kinds of rock, but its main advantage is the way it fractures. Geologists call it “conchoidal fracture”. Named after the curved shape of a conch, it is the fracture pattern seen when the fracture is not constrained directionally by the properties of the material. In addition to flint, most notably, obsidian (a volcanic glass) fractures this way. Not surprisingly, it is also a favored rock for making tools.

Conchoidal fracture is useful for two reasons. Firstly, the way the rock breaks depends on how you strike it, not on the orientation of a crystalline structure. That makes it easier to work with. Secondly, the edge formed by the crossing of two conchoidal fractures can be extraordinarily sharp. Sharper, even, than the sharpest steel blades (but more brittle). So this makes for some really good cutting tools.

Courtesy of John A. Pawloski

John sat with me and demonstrated the various techniques of flintknapping along with ways the resulting tools can be used. Here and there my father also chimed in with helpful information. As it happens, he is a geologist. Now I will tell you about those techniques, but I will also use the book “Flintknapping”, by John C. Whittaker, as a reference.

First we have hard-hammer percussion. The idea is simple: just hit the core (the piece you are knocking flakes off of) with another rock. It works best if you use a fast motion, grazing the edge of the core. If you hit the middle of the core hard, the whole thing will shatter into many small pieces. Hard-hammer percussion can get you long, smooth, sharp edges … if you do it just right. This takes a lot of skill.

Photo by Stanley Schleifer, courtesy of John A. Powloski

A technique which is easier to control, but which creates a more “serrated” edge, is pressure flaking. This is how the typical arrowhead is made. The idea is that you apply controlled pressure to a spot on the core and increase the pressure until a small piece breaks off. This is done using another tool. John demonstrated using a piece of antler. The book also recommends wearing something to protect your wrists while pressure flaking, as sharp flakes are likely to strike you there. And, of course, eye protection is a given for all of these techniques.

Soft-hammer percussion is often used for creating finely shaped edges. This is like hard-hammer percussion, but you strike the core with something softer such as a bone or piece of wood, rather than another rock. Generally, the “soft hammer” would be hit on the other side by a rock to drive it percussively into the edge of the core.

John also demonstrated shaping other, softer rocks, such as soapstone, by grinding them with harder rocks (or bones). He also let me try drilling the soapstone with a bow drill (a tool I’ll discuss more for fire-making).

I did get an opportunity to try some of these techniques there at the museum, but I didn’t have any eye protection, so most of my work has to wait until I get some. John wears prescription eyeglasses, so he was fine.

The mining museum is actually part of a larger site called the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association. So before I left, John and some of his fellow antique machinery enthusiasts took me to another building at the same site. It was the “Industrial Hall of Steam Power”. Incredible. Huge, historical steam engines rebuilt and operational. I’ll write more about that later, because I’ll surely return there when I get to steam engines! In the mean time, I recommend this place. Go see it for yourself. …when it opens again. It was closed for the season, but John agreed to show me around anyway. :-)

When it was time to go, John sent me home with plenty of materials to practice on. Thank you, again, John! And also thank you to my dad. I’d better get cracking! Er … flaking, I mean.

Thank you for reading!

Keith Flint wirkte wieder einmal leicht neben sich und gab fast ausschließlich sonderbare Filmzitate von sich.

Flint, Michigan—Barry Gehman was stripped of his manliness last Saturday after attempting to hold a conversation with other men in his neighborhood cul-de-sac.

“Me and the guys were just hanging out in my driveway, working on my pick-up truck when Barry came strolling over,” said John Spruce, 39. “Right from the start, we knew he didn’t belong.”

Gehman, 35, and his wife, Gail, had moved into the neighborhood just 3 months ago, and Barry had slowly tried to make some new friends. “When he first came over,” Spruce recalls, “he [Barry] made a reference to Dale Earnhardt Jr. playing 3rd base for the Orioles. It was really awkward.”

Barry’s misinformed comment was quietly ignored as the guys changed the subject to their favorite semi-automatic weapons used for killing deer. Barry informed the group that he did not own a semi-automatic weapon.

Tensions mounted as Spruce formed all the guys into a huddle in the far corner away from Barry and made the call. “I told the guys, ‘Look: he don’t know shit about sports, he don’t own no gun, and I heard a rumor that he actually listens to his wife.’” With the meeting adjourned, Spruce approached Gehman and said, “Hey, Barry, I’m sorry; I’m gonna have to pull your Man Card.”

A shocked and slightly dismayed Barry Gehman reached into his wallet and pulled out the Man Card I.D given to him by his father nearly 20 years ago. “That’s the rule,” a saddened Gehman later told Vondrook reporters. “When a guy has to pull your Man Card, that’s it. That’s the end of your manliness. Now that I don’t have my Man Card, I can’t even work a hammer, and I fear I am gonna have to start asking gas station clerks for directions.”

Spruce holds no regrets over the incident. “I’ve pulled many a-Man Card in my day. Some people think that owning a penis makes you a man, but that’s not it. It’s a culture. It’s a way of life. Men like guns. Men like sports. Men like power tools. Men don’t ask for directions, and men sure as shit don’t listen to their wives.”

Concerning what will happen to Barry now that his Man Card has been revoked, Spruce commented, “Well, he’s not a man, so I guess he is spending alot of his time drinking herbal tea and having lesbian sex with his wife.”

In these dismal and less than savory economic conditions, many people, including myself have fallen

In these dismal and less than savory economic conditions, many people, including myself have fallen privy to the countless number of “Work From Home” schemes. I can honestly say that having tried several, they all have yielded me the same result. minus $24.95 from my bank account.

To me, the issue with ALL of these many work from home offers are their incredibly one-sided profitability margin. For example, if I’m selling stereo “A” online for $200, and you can actually physically go and purchase the very same stereo A in the store for $200, then to me the answer is simple. Go buy it in the store. Why? Because that way you avoid the shipping costs. In times like these you’ve got to save every dollar you can, and when something is slightly heavy (more than 5 pounds), it tends to inflate your shipping costs dramatically. Regardless, the problem is that you’re doing all of the legwork, generating all of the sales leads, and at the end of the day you’re the one making less than savory wages for the fruits of your labor.

There are some people that would argue for the sake of argument on this issue, as technically speaking If you are employed in this dismal economic state you are among the lucky few. I would also agree with that statement. However, the information that I am about to share with you will yield you copius amounts of wealth should you choose to follow my insight.

I was helping my friend Sarah the other evening with some collegiate work and came across some staggering facts. Are you aware of just how much revenue is generated each year by companies such as myspace and facebook? Yea. It’s no secret, I use those sites, as I’m sure you do also. The thing is, they are making money off of your online habits. The sheer fact that you conduct your online activities (email, link posting, videos, games, IM, etc) with them generates them obsurd amounts of profits. Please keep this information in mind as I continue my story.

Upon further research I have discovered that not only is there a NEW social media in town, but that they are actively recruiting people to fill their online networks. In layman’s terms: They are paying you a referral fee, and offering you an opportunity to generate a recurring income through various retail channels. At this point I would like to reiterate that you are selling, nor purchasing anything (unless you should feel inclined to do so). Your recurring income is based off of standard advertising & marketing calculations. Studies have also shown that more and more people have been turning to internet retail sites as opposed to physically traveling due to poor economic stimulation in certain areas. For Example:

Studies show that the average person will spend roughly $100-$200 every month online on various products, and that for every 100 people recruited, you could expect to generate roughly a $3,000 a month recurring income.

You will automatically earn a commission on your referrals, so you need not worry about that. Simply have your referrals follow the simple 3 step process, and they’re golden, and will soon join us on the road to financial freedom.

Step 1: Copy the Link below into your address bar & Register
Step 2: Fill out a Quick Survey (Less than 30 minutes)
Step 3: Promote your String (Tell your Friends, Family & Associates)

http://tiny.cc/fbNrl

I truly hope that anyone reading this will take heed of my advice. This is truly a one of a kind opportunity, at the internet makes your possibilities truly endless. The more people you recruit, the more money you’ll make. The more people THEY recruit (the people you recruited)….the more money you make. It’s truly a win/win situation for all parties involved. Whether you are seeking a full-time, or part-time job, or something to simply occupy your time, this is definitely the way to go. Meet new people, have fun promoting and socially networking, and best of all: doing the things that you’d do on a normal everyday basis ANYWAY!!!! I truly hope to see you all there.

God Bless.

Two parents who are both higher rate tax payers can receive up to £2,400 per year of public m

Two parents who are both higher rate tax payers can receive up to £2,400 per year of public money towards their child care. Who is paying for these wealthy families to bring up their children while they follow their fulfilling lives? All of the rest of us of course, but the burden falls hardest on people with low incomes who still have to buy clothes, furniture and all the other necessities of life and for whom VAT is a bigger proportion of their commitments than it is for the wealthy.

In a cynical attempt to buy middle class votes the Labour Government introduced this mad scheme and now he has bankrupted the economy Gordon Brown is trying to stop it. His big problem is that he doesn’t command any authority in his own party and the Labour MP’s who are scared of losing their seats are threatening to vote against him.

Face up to it Gordon, you do not have the remotest chance of winning a general election whenever you call it. Having wrecked the economy, crippled business and swamped us with a multitude of idiot laws in your periods as Chancellor and PM you must spend your last months making sure that the debt burden you pass on to our children and grandchildren does not get any worse.

You must scrap the childcare vouchers. It will go through parliament because the Tories will have to support it. You have to ignore Caroline Flint and her mates, the country cannot afford to feather bed the wealthy. If they threaten to throw you out as PM just say thank you. Months of misery from the revolting Sun followed by a humiliating defeat at the polls will do your family and health no good. Better to go down now by doing the right thing.

Can anyone tell me where Paper Mill Hill in Peabody, MA is, specifically? Is it on someone’s private property? According to http://www.mindat.org/loc-33589.html it seems there is some chert (flint) to be found there. The first challenge of making stone tools is to find the right rocks to work with! If I can’t find a natural flint deposit, then I can try store-bought obsidian. I think the man who’ll be helping me with flintknapping might have some flint to spare too. We’ll see.

Tomorrow I’ll be harvesting dogbane and learning to make rope / cord from it! I’m very excited. I may also get some help with some other things tomorrow as well. I will, obviously, let you know how it goes.

I’m not going to post much today, but I’ll let you know about a few of the topics I hope to post about soon (in no particular order):

Overview of the Paleolithic Age

Modern Indigenous Cultures – What Can / Can’t They Tell Us About Paleolithic Cultures

The Physics of Spear Throwing (in several parts)

Paleolithic Fiction

Human Patterns of Subsistence

Speculations on the Origins of Fire and Cooking

…and of course, updates on my progress with the tasks.
