Hi folks!

As it had to happen, as soon as I try to get something like this site going, my computer goes down and takes a little vacation in apple service center land… hardware damage… has to get a new screen (no idea how this happend… but that’s what the geniusses told me).

So without access to my library, my only option was to go shoot some new stuff. Being home a day earlier than planned, I took the occasion to do a little photowalk in my hometown of Lausanne. The city of
Lausanne has come a long way in recent years and gave itself a nice new inner city where there used to be quite an unnatractive neighborhood before… This gave a lot of life to the center with all kinds of people hangin’ out and having a good time… exactly the place to shoot some street. So fresh off the card, here we go:

This here is a special piece of art… I had never seen anything like it before. It’s a huge xylophone with a pipe letting drops fall in random order over this installation, resulting in a subtle and nice little tune… sometimes the backyards really hide some treasures. (trying to capture a random drop by the way… really not an easy one @ 3 fps)

Also little did I know that the city now actually has a public, self service strawberry garden for all passers by to pick some fruits in… I definitely spend far to little time in this town.

And ending with a “wide open” catherdral in order to have it vignet nicely!

This sucks!

Today was either shred #6 and I was not strong at all. I am having severe pain when I do my cardio only. It is on the side of my calve just below my knee on the outside of my leg. Everytime I jump and come back down it just kills. It definitely got in the way, as far stamina and motivation goes.

I just dont know what it could be….GAH not now! Not during a challenge!
Hopefully it will chill the heck out!

I had a pretty good weekend, and did not eat too poorly. Even though I was face to face with the most delicious flon I have ever had, homemade by a sweet Puerto rican friend.
I just had one small slice…man I wanted to eat more!

I am going to try and workout everyday the week, despite my leg….its my goal!

On November 26th, a new shopping area has opened in the Flon area in downtown Lausanne. The new complex includes a supermarket (Migros) and some smaller shops, and is located close to Lausanne-Flon subway station (lines M1, M2 and LEB), making it a perfect example of Transit-Oriented-Development.

With the opening of the new complex, Flon area turns into a major commercial-entertaining-business center at the scale of the entire Lausanne-Morges metro area.
