“With Due Consideration BJ Penn is unstoppable at 155lbs”

On Saturday in Memphis, Tennessee BJ Penn destroyed No1 Contender Diego Sanchez in what can only be described as an absolute masterclass.  For four and a bit rounds BJ Penn took the challenger to task and at the end looked as fresh as he did before the fight.  The challenger however resembled something of a horror movie victim and will likely never be the same fighter again.  Sanchez was championed as the biggest challenger yet to Penn and had never been hurt in a fight before with his only 2 losses coming by close decisions to bigger fighters.  Yet it took Penn 25 seconds to floor Sanchez and how he managed to survive is testimony to his heart and determination but from that point on the result was never in doubt.

Questions have well and truly been answered about Penn’s conditioning which now has to be considered elite.  He never looked tired at any point despite having to work hard to counteract Sanchez’s take down attempts.  In his last three fights he has destroyed the elite of the division including Kenny Florian also a winner on the night and possibly once more the prime contender to BJ’s crown.  However with the utter domination he showed in their previous fight surely this is a mere formality for Penn.  When you are arguably one of the best BJJ practitioners in the world and you add elite striking skills your going to be hard to beat.  At lightweight nobody can touch him none have been close.

So this begs the question does BJ move up in weight for another super fight with Georges St-Pierre? Or did he learn his lesson from that humbling defeat a year ago? Whatever the future holds for BJ Penn the fact remains that at 155lbs he cant be stopped and he will go down as the best Lightweight fighter in MMA history regardless of what happens next!

Last week Eben Moglen, founder and executive director of the Software Freedom Law Center (SFLC), submitted an independent opinion on the Oracle/Sun merger to the European Union (EU). Moglen summarized his submission as follows:

“The GPL was designed specifically to ensure the permanent freedom of software, and the ability of everyone to improve and share their improvements to the program, no matter who acquires the copyrights to the code.  The whole point of GPL as a copyright license is to deal with every contingency that could result in hobbling or destroying the freedom of code shared under it. The drafters of GPL versions 2 and 3 considered scenarios very similar to the ones that the Commission is concerned about now. The design of the license, and the experience we have had using it, show that it can be counted upon to operate as intended in situations like this one.”

Moglen issued the 11 page opinion, pro bono and without the charge, at the request of Oracle’s counsel.  Moglen clarified that Oracle is an ongoing contributor to the SFLC, while Monty Widenius has contributed in the past.  However, neither the contributions from Oracle nor Widenius have exceeded 5 percent of SFLC’s funding since inception.

I found the following paragraph from Moglen’s submission particularly interesting:

“MySQL is now and always has been an atypical GPL software project, because its copyright was highly centralized inside a small commercial firm that considered dual licensing its only commercially attractive strategy for survival. But even MySQL AB’s atypical business model, which was highly unreflective of the mass of GPL’d software development, occurred within the parameters of the GPL’s overall design, which is to ensure the freedom of the software it protects regardless of the commercial motivations or behaviors of the parties distributing the primary upstream version.”

On the other end of the debate, Florian Mueller announced that he has submitted a 31 page rebuttal to Moglen’s position.  Mueller provided a summary of the highlights via email, from which I selected these comments:

“Fundamentally, his paper offers a different prediction as to what would happen post-acquisition. He simply expresses his firm belief that whatever made MySQL successful in the past is not really an indication for the future. In fact he believes MySQL AB had a very suboptimal business model…

If he were right that MySQL AB and all of the companies that succeeded around MySQL didn’t do it right and that a GPL-only approach works best, then actually there would be no point in Sun having acquired MySQL last year nor in Oracle acquiring it now because then the future would at any rate be that someone has to fork it and do a GPL-only project dependent on voluntary contributions. Interestingly, that approach would have been possible during all of those almost 14 years that MySQL has been available and no one, not even Eben Moglen, decided to seize that opportunity.”

Both Moglen and Mueller make strong and weak points.

First, Moglen is too quick to dismiss MySQL as an atypical GPL project.  As Mueller points out, whatever you think about MySQL and their business model, you can’t simply conclude that another business model would be more appropriate.  Just because Linux is licensed under the GPL and Linux vendors, namely Red Hat and Novell are closing in on a combined $1B in revenue, does not mean the GPL is the best license for every open source product with commercial aspirations.  The Linux ecosystem is very different than say, application servers or web content management.  Different markets with different ecosystems require different license considerations.

While Moglen appears to be arguing for a “pure GPL” MySQL, departing from the dual-licensed status quo, Groklaw reports that Mueller and Widenius would like to see the MySQL open source license changed from GPLv2 to the Apache Software License.  According to Groklaw, page 19 of an unreleased submission to the EU from Mueller/Widenius stated:

“We would like to draw attention to the fact that some major concerns about the effects of the proposed transaction could be somewhat alleviated by requiring that all versions of MySQL source code previously released under the GPLv2 license …must be released under a more liberal open source license that is usable also by the OEM users and would also create an opportunity for other service vendors to compete with offerings comparable to MySQL Enterprise. A good candidate is the Apache Software License (ASL).”

Something doesn’t feel right about Widenius proposing a license that MySQL could have chosen “over the past 14 years”.  Clearly MySQL decided against this move as the GPL/dual licensing approach led to a competitive advantage that the ASL v2.0 would not provide MySQL.  But I guess that’s why Widenius suggests Oracle should be forced to re-license MySQL under a permissive license such as the ASL v2.0.

De kindergemeenteraad met kinderburgemeester Laura Lesire heeft op woensdag 18 november de award van kindvriendelijk Hasselt uitgereikt aan restaurant Florian aan de Fruitmarkt 22, als beloning voor hun kindvriendelijke menukaart.

Het originele kindermenu moest bestaan uit minstens een hoofd- en een nagerecht, gepresenteerd op een manier dat zelfs volwassenen er zouden van watertanden.

Bereiding

Als hoofdschotel werden Italiaanse polenta, mini-gehaktburger, tomatensaus en appelmoes geserveerd.  De bereidingswijze is erg eenvoudig.

Neem palenta ter vervanging van aardappelen en snij er figuurtjes uit. Bak deze palenta en de mini-gehaktburger in een pan en werk ze af met appelmoes en tomatensaus. Als dessert kan je dan ook nog een dichtgeknoopt pannenkoekje gevuld met vanille-ijs en afgewerkt met chocolade en kersenstokje serveren. Smakelijk!

Parece que las palabras “mal despertar en un yate” no suelen ir unidas. Buscad en google y lo comprobaréis. Empiezo a desembarazarme del sueño y, mientras me sitúo en el mundo, con los ojos todavía sellados, paso por mi mente los mejores momentos de la noche. Ni tardé en convencerla, ni me cobró al final, por lo que supongo que triunfé. Follamos durante bastante tiempo, dado que me hizo una mamada de libro. Si follo con alguien durante más de diez minutos, tiene que haber un porqué. La presión de sus labios era perfecta, el ritmo parecía que salía de mi mente. Merecía que luego le diera todo lo que sé, con todas las partes del cuerpo que se me ocurrieron, por todos los lugares que pude. Y por la humedad que mi mano derecha nota en la sábana, puede que no tuviera una gran puntería. La humedad en la cama, y la duda entre si es semen u orín, es una crónica más de mis últimas grandes noches.

Desabroché un ojo, la resaca multiplicó el haz de luz que entraba por el ojo de buey, y la ví. Por lo menos a parte de ella, su barriga. Tenía barriga. Nota: ayer violé la norma en virtud de la cual no me acuesto con mujeres que tengan más barriga que yo. Le contaré a Flavio que me he tirado a una tía con barriga, me preguntará si con verruga, y le corregiré. Las borracheras de Flavio cada vez son más previsibles. Debería dejar de ir a sus fiestas.

La plancha de tejido adiposo de la muchacha en cuestión hace un doble movimiento. Como esas olas muy finas que, al morir en la orilla se chocan con otras que languidecen en otro sentido, su respiración lanza una pequeña onda del ombligo hacia los laterales, y el vaivén del barco crea otra que le cruza la panza de izquierda a derecha y de derecha a izquierda. Duerme ligeramente tapada de cintura para abajo, dejando al descubierto lo que anoche creí que eran pechos turgentes. Sí bebí, sí.

Atrapo la erección contra mi abdomen con la goma de los calzoncillos, dejando el prepucio al aire, todavía enrojecido, en lo que se denomina “maniobra periscopio“, y camino hasta la cocina americana sin sumar instrumentos a una sinfonía de crujidos, que lleva siendo hilo musical de mi vida en los últimos treinta años. Como si se tratara de una condena de película norteamericana, cada mañana aparecen dos botellas llenas de leche fresca. No sé cómo coño llega el lechero, porque estoy anclado a no menos de cuatro millas de la costa.

Cuando entro preparo café y, al acercarme a la cama, descubro que está gorda y muerta. No sin esfuerzo la echo por la borda. Salgo con la taza de café y me siento en popa. Miro al mar, intentando ver alguna burbuja, y empiezo a pensar que la he cagado. ¿Por qué la he tirado?, ¿Cómo explicar a la policía que me he deshecho de un cadáver?, ¿Qué sentido ha tenido esa acción, si yo no he tenido nada que ver en su muerte?. Creo que ese impulso, fruto de la resaca, me convierte en principal sospechoso. Me lo repito en la cabeza como siempre que la he cagado desde los cinco años: “Florian, la has cagado”.

Y la gorda flota. La gorda, que tendrá un nombre, y una familia y que tendría aspiraciones y demás, flota bocabajo en el agua como una boya. La hijaputa. Levo el ancla y se lo lanzo. Hago diana, suena un ruido, se hunde momentáneamente y vuelve a subir. Enhorabuena Florian, le acabas de partir la espalda para nada.

¿Sabéis ese tópico de que la policía nunca está cuando hace falta? Pues, como revelé en las novelas negras que me granjearon cierta popularidad, a veces no es cierto. Allí aparece la patrulla, que acepta mi café y mi charla de espaldas a la mujer flotante. Tras hablar de un par de temas prosaicos y otro profundo, saltan a su bote y marchan, llevándose enganchada por un brazo a la gorda con nombre, familia, y todo lo demás. Los veo perderse en el horizonte, con su inerte polizón a cuestas. Por esta vez te has librado, Florián. Puede que sólo el lechero conozca la aventura de mañana. Joder, es un buen argumento: un lechero visionario. Me voy a escribir. Tampoco estaba tan gorda.

Sobre o grupo de jogadores, este é a imagem da direção que comanda o clube. Para quem achava que nada podia ser pior que o Iguatemy, ungiram Sérgio Florian e sua trupe, aclamada por conselho e torcedores, mesmo após os momentos mais bizarros, como a lambada de 8 a 1 na final do Gauchão de 2008. Agora é fácil criticar, enxergar culpados, mas o que fizeram aqueles que, mesmo vendo os erros se sucederem, batiam palminhas para a diretoria, com aquele discurso de “não somos contra ninguém, apoiamos quem estiver na diretoria!”, que apenas mostra conivência, seja por desconhecimento, seja por amizade com alguém da direção, tornando-os tão culpados quanto os diretamente envolvidos nessa mixórnia em que transformaram o Juventude?

Quanto à sequência deste pesadelo, fora ter que ganhar de um time que vai querer fazer festa com sua torcida após reviver das cinzas (Guarani), o clube tem que torcer para que um dos outros três concorrentes à última vaga para o rebaixamento não vença seu jogo.

Não acredito em milagres nem em torcida (ultimamente, até pelo sucesso (?) que outros clubes do estado tiveram com essa falácia de que torcida ganha jogo, é só nisso que se acredita em Caxias agora). Só acredito em futebol. E isso faz tempo que o Juventude não tem. Se querem torcida no estádio, façam time. São times fortes, convincentes e títulos que formam torcida. Não essa coisa “na marra” que tentam emular na cidade.

Na real, meu medo maior é que nem mesmo um rebaixamento pra terceira divisão faça com que a ficha caia para dirigentes, torcedores e até mesmo parte da imprensa de Caxias do Sul: a de que, após a Parmalat, o Juventude voltou a ser apenas mais um clube do interior gaúcho, com todas as dificuldades comuns aos demais. Sei que isso é difícil de ler e compreender pela maioria dos juventudistas, mas é a mais pura verdade. Em anos de Parmalat, não se aproveitou sequer para formar uma geração de dirigentes de verdade, em estruturar politicamente o clube. Tudo segue como era antes, com conchavos, aclamações e pouca transparência, apesar do que a propaganda vinda de dentro do Juventude tenta contrapor.

Enquanto isso não for compreendido, que o Juventude, com a velocidade de um raio, voltou a ser apenas mais um clube do interior, sem apoio de mídia ou de patrocínios fortes, mais tempo levará para o clube reencontrar seu rumo.

Desde luego, hasta hoy mismo, si algo bueno podíamos decir de Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba era su flema, su morro de cemento para soltar la mentira más descarada sin que se le mueva un músculo facial. Sería todo un duelo, a cara de perro: Rubalcaba vs Lightman.

Y para quien no sepa quién es el tal Lightman, le recomendamos que no se pierda Miénteme (Lie to Me), una serie de Fox con el magnífico Tim Roth al frente de un gabinete de psicólogos que se dedican a detectar mentirosos.

Don Alfredo, ¿por qué aguanta la respiración?

La cuestión que nos lleva hasta aquí es que ésta mañana, en la sesión de control al gobierno, Don Alfredo, ministro del Interior, ha sido asediado a preguntas acerca del sistema de escuchas ilegal SITEL, y también acerca del chivatazo a ETA. Don Alfredo, acosado por las preguntas del parlamentario Carlos Floriano, ha respondido con nerviosismo, con frases entrecortadas y gesto convulso. Hasta ahí, nada nuevo. Don Alfredo, que normalmente, como parlamentario no tiene precio, tiene, como todo político a las órdenes de Zetapé, días en los que no hay dónde meterse.Y más en una sesión tensa, con un PP regenerado pidiendo muchas explicaciones y más cabezas, por el asunto del Alakrana, aparte de los asuntos de Interior.

Ha sido en los pasillos del Parlamento, donde Don Alfredo ha generado la noticia.

Don Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, ministro de Interior acusado de escuchas ilegales, entre otras muchas lindezas, ha pillado por banda a Floriano, y lo ha metido en una sala aneja, a puerta cerrada, acompañados por González-Pons. Un operador de cámara de TVE ha captado la entrada de Don Alfredo y Floriano a la sala.

Una vez en privado, el ministro de Interior ha abroncado a Floriano, de modo que las voces se oían desde los pasillos, aunque no fueron registrados por ninguna cámara. Una lástima. Floriano ha declarado que Rubalcaba le ha amenazado con éstas palabras: “Veo y escucho todo lo que haces”. El propio José Bono, al ser apercibido de la situación, ha tenido que llevarse a Rubalcaba, “Vámonos, Alfredo, vámonos”. En las imágenes se aprecia la cara de susto de Floriano a la salida de la entrevista privada.

Al ser preguntado por la prensa, un Rubalcaba más calmado, el que conocemos, ha respondido con vaguedad: “Es una solemne estupidez” y “Sólo hemos tenido la misma discusión que en la sesión”. Al ser preguntado por la frase “Escucho todo lo que dices…” Rubalcaba ha rehusado ser más específico, y se ha remitido a lo ya respondido. “En lo gordo, miente. En todo, pero vamos, en lo gordo, miente”.

Según Floriano, le ha llamado paranoico (tampoco es un insulto de ésos que zanjan discusiones), y se ha referido a “la loca esa” para referirse a Sáenz de Santamaría.

¿A quién creer?

Como bien se pregunta Don Federico Jiménez Losantos, si ya habían hablado en sesión parlamentaria, ¿por qué repetir la discusión? Máxime si es el propio Rubalcaba quien ha abordado a Floriano. Asumiendo que Pons y Floriano estén exagerando un poco, también tenemos que contextualizar los hechos. Ya sabemos que no ha sido una pataleta de caras enrojecidas de ira, sino algo mucho más sutil. Pero es el parlamento, Rubalcaba es ministro, Floriano es parlamentario. La actitud de Rubalcaba es impropia. Y sí, suena muy enfadado en sus declaraciones. Y sí, tenía que estar muy cabreado para hacer una cosa así delante de González Pons.

Como Floriano ha apuntado después, “si SITEL y el chivatazo fueran argucias de la oposición, ¿por qué se pone tan nervioso?” Y eso es verdad. Nos parecería extraño que Rubalcaba cayera en una trampa tan obvia. No responde a su perfil. Rubalcaba está muy nervioso.

También Floriano parecía alterado, por cierto. Y lo entendemos. Una amenaza así, de parte de Rubalcaba, es para cagarse en las tranquitas, las cosas como son.

Notizia fresca fresca dalla stampa. Il decimo rapporto di Eurispes e Telefono Azzurro sull’infanzia e l’adolescenza parla di una “generazione provvisoria, priva di riferimenti e modelli che ne orientino la crescita e ne sviluppino le potenzialità”.

Il quadro di questo rapporto è sconfortante. Basti pensare che cresce l’indifferenza al bullismo e che le vittime preferite dei nostri teppistelli sono coloro che “non sanno difendersi e non reagiscono”. Un ragazzo su cinque ha fumato marijuana, per lo più tra i 12 e i 15 anni.

Pausa di riflessione. Per uno come me nato nel 1967, dodici anni significa 1979. Tempi in cui tra noi ragazzi i pochi teppististelli venivano isolati e la marijuana non si sapeva cosa fosse.

Andiamo avanti. Il rapporto mostra come tra i riferimenti degli adolescenti di oggi vi siano Obama e Valentino Rossi – e qui niente di male. Un uomo politico e uno sportivo. I nostri bambini, invece, scelgono ancora Rossi e (udite, udite) Belen. Che tutto si può dire, tranne che sia un modello adatto per l’infanzia.

Altra pausa di riflessione. Quali erano i miti nel 1979? Miti innocenti, ragazze dalla faccetta pulita come Olivia Newton-John o al massimo Heather Parisi. Strano che le bambine di oggi scelgano Belen, che sarà anche simpatica, ma ci sembra più adatta come scelta ad un pubblico adulto e soprattutto maschile.

Possibile che non ci siano riferimenti femminili migliori di Belen? Possibile che per una bambina italiana il non plus ultra sia il modello velina?

Non voglio passare per moralista e retrogrado, la mia non è una tirata contro le minigonne e i tacchi alti. Però ricordo di una canzoncina velatamente femminista che cantava anni fa: “Siamo donne, oltre le gambe c’è di più”.

Ne sono convinto anch’io. Ma perchè non lo si mette in mostra allora?

Meine 12 tierischen Mitbewohner meinen, dass sie auch mitbloggen wollen. Ich find das ja eigentlich gar nicht gut, aber das darf ich wohl nicht zu laut sagen. War immerhin eine einwöchige Diskussion und ich konnte mich einfach nicht gegen wehren. Bin eben doch nur der kleine Bernhard. Also in Zukunft auch eventuell Einträge von oder über die anderen.

Heute hatte ich vorgesorgt, eine lange Einheit Psysoz B&V stand wieder bevor und ich hatte aus der Erfahrung von gestern gelernt. Vor der FH, noch kurz zu Merkur und billige Semmeln um 89 cent eingekauft. Wirklich interessant was man alles so für sich lernt, wenn man quasi “gezwungen” ist auf Aktionen zu achten. Man kauft mit einem total anderen Blick ein. (Ich denke ich hab in dieser Woche durch das künstlich aufgesetzte Geldlimit einiges über mein altes Kaufverhalten gelernt, das mir verbesserungswürdig erscheint )
Ich kaufte also diese billigen Semmeln ein, aber was dann? Wurst? – zu teuer, Käse? – zu teuer, Aufstrich – auch nicht gerade billig und vor allem, nicht sehr sättigend. Was nun also tun? Ich griff zur Kabernossi und so kaufte ich zwar billige Semmeln, aber teure Wurst. -> Auf damit in die FH.
Mein Mittagessen war das gleiche wie mein Frühstück: Semmeln mit Kabernossi.
Mein Abendessen hingegen waren Nudeln mit Pesto von Zielpunkt, recht günstig – damit kann ich zufrieden sein, vor allem weil ich keine Kartoffeln essen musste – Die gibts morgen erst wieder. Etwas Abwechslung musste sein.

Die Frage die sich mir stellt ist, würde ich wenn ich dieses Projekt um eine weitere Woche verlängern würde weisere Entscheidungen treffen? Auf ein teures Essen bei IKEA verzichten, nicht zu Starbucks auf einen Kaffee gehen und mir statt Wurst etwas billigeres kaufen, vielleicht mir meinen Aufstrich aus Topfen und Kräutern selbstmachen? – Denn ganz ehrlich, der Grund warum ich das nicht getan habe ist, weil ich es nicht gewöhnt bin so zu leben. Ich bin ein “verwöhnter Fratz” und verwöhnten Fratzen hat man früher ja bekanntlich noch “Manieren beigebracht”, vielleicht sollte ich sie mir selbst beibringen?

Mein Budget für diese Woche ist verbraucht. Ich habe es nicht geschafft 7 Tage mit 35 Euro zu leben. Besonders meine Kollegin Romana bewundere ich, die sich von vorneherein sehr viele Gedanken darüber gemacht hat, wie sie sich ihr Geld einzuteilen hat und was sie die Woche über alles kochen möchte. Ich habe das nicht in diesem Maße getan, zumal ich auch nicht wirklich viel kochen kann.
Hier habe ich sicher noch großen Handlungsbedarf!
Vor allem werde ich in Zukunft wieder genau Buch über mein Finanzen führen und in den nächste paar Wochen mehr Zeit mit billig kochen verbringen es wäre doch gelacht, wenn ich das nicht hinbekommen würde.

Die Frage die mir ständig durch den Kopf geht ist: “Was wäre gewesen, wenn ich ein Klient der Sozialen Arbeit gewesen wäre?” Viele sind sehr unselbständig, viele führen nicht genau Buch über ihre Ausgaben, etliche haben ein Suchtproblem und rauchen tun sowieso sehr viele. Wie um alles in der Welt will ein Sozialhilfeempfänger mit 35 Euro in der Woche auskommen, wenn selbst ich das nicht schaffe?

Lasst uns mal eine fiktive Rechnung aufstellen. Was braucht ein Sozialhilfeempfänger evtl. pro Tag?

• Billiges Essen pro Tag ca. 3 Euro, wenn er gut kalkulieren und kochen kann (und das kann ja nicht mal ich!)
• 5 Halbe/Krügerl billiges Bier: 2 Euro
• 2 Packungen Zigaretten: ca. 7 Euro
• Eine Rippe Benzos: ca. 10 Euro

• GESAMT: 22 Euro
• Selbst ohne Benzos: 12 Euro / Tag

Jetzt stellt euch vor, der Klient ist schwerer Raucher, schwerer Alkoholiker, oder schwer Benzoabhängig, oder auf irgendeiner anderen Droge, oder polytoxikoman, was ja nicht selten vorkommt. Das würde die Kosten noch einmal immens erhöhen.
Mit 20-30 Euro / Tag muss bei einem Klienten mit Suchtproblematik schon gerechnet werden.

First of all THANKS. Thanks to the SugarCRM guys and Larry Augustin, for hosting an open-source-community event and for inviting people with real nice catering and the lot, at a time where many old-school companies wouldn’t even want to pay for a cup of coffee.

Well, hang on – maybe it is not despite the fact that SugarCRM has an open-source community -that they can afford things like that- but because of it? Maybe open-source is simply the model of the future?
I’m convinced that that this is the case. IP is no property any longer, but a commodity, same as information and air. Restrictions on IP are ridiculous. Innovation combined with flexibility and the ability to implement changes will be the differentiators between failure and success in the future.
Well now the chief concern officers will say, how can you innovate, if you are lacking the funding which was formerly generated by selling your IP?

Obviously you can’t. At least you can’t in the traditional way. You need to rethink and reinvent your business model.

Why? Because you are already making less profit and profits will go down furthermore. Funding is not always clear, but as innovation is more and more outsourced to the customers, or the communities which you operate, manage or contribute to, the entire business model is shifting. A company which has earned money before through, say subscriptions might find itself managing communities of people that share some interests. Obviously this will again not only change the revenue stream, or the value chain, this will force the company to reinvent itself.

All right now Florian, all this and not one word on social CRM? Wroooong…. All this was on social CRM, or whatever you want to call it. Social CRM, CRM2.0, or Social Media Management in the context with customer relations is all about the dear old Trinity of People, Processes and Technology – with one slight difference: People are now really in the beginning and everywhere until the end. Processes don’t need to be described only, or automated. Processes need to be so sophisticated that they can self adjust through the right measure of real-time web applications or other sophisticated BI tools. Without -as SugarCRM calls them- “Cloudconnectors” a CRM is not worth the energy required for switching the server on. Other than that, Technology can do what you can dream. Therefore the only question is: can you still dream?

…and the reality is, Processes need to support people in a holistic, immediate, proactive and such a wonderful way that your customers will stick with you. Then it’s not about what you are charging anymore, but about what kind of feeling and emotions your company is able to transport and to co-create.
This is something you can only influence when you see the full picture. People long for business friendships, they long for someone who knows them and with whom they can share their thoughts. Without the ability to dig into the networks and to establish that social competence, a CRM looses any right to exist. It can support your old school model for a couple of years, but due to its misconception, it will lead you down a road without return. When you wake up, you will look around and notice that you have slept one year too long.

I can’t tell you how curious I am, how this thinking will be adopted by the average CEO, who either is a lawyer, chemist, mathematician or has a degree in engineering. This has nothing to do with clear, well defined processes anymore. It must be comparable to the experience one has when he steps out of his Maybach and now has to win a bull-riding competition. SocialCRM IMHO is just the dawning of a new set of integrated tools forming Mash-Ups in the Cloud and helping us, as customers to manage ourselves. We will find the products we are interested in and we as customers will judge and decide whom we want to deal with. It is the ultimate democracy and Graham Hill was right comparing it in its importance with the era of enlightenment itself.

So to conclude, this is a first glimpse at the future therefore it is fiction, but it is so close to becoming reality that you can call it truth.

Heute zum Frühstück habe ich nur einen Kaffee getrunken, Brot war keines mehr da, das hatte mein Wohnungskollege gefuttert. Eigentlich kein Problem, wenn ich nur genug Geld gehabt hätte mir bei Merkur oder in der FH etwas zum Frühstücken zu kaufen. Aber da gehen dann schonmal gut 3-4 Euro drauf und das kann ich mir beim besten Willen nicht leisten. Und schnell bei Merkur vorbeischauen und frisches Brot kaufen, das war beim besten Willen nicht drin. Immerhin bin ich kein Morgenmensch und dementsprechend spät begab ich mich auch aus den Federn.
Auf der FH:
Ich saß also da, in “Psychosoziale Beratung und Verhandlung” neben mir sitzend, meine liebenswürdige Kollegin Conny.
Die Zeit schritt voran und mit dem voranschreiten der Zeit auch mein Hunger.
Da meldete sich plötzlich mein Magen. – Und das ziemlich laut! – Wer mich kennt, weiß dass ich manchmal etwas vorlaut sein kann, ebenso mein Magen, ganz besonders dann wenn er Hunger hat. – Mir war das (ehrlich) furchtbar peinlich. Conny, die ja wusste dass wir unser 35 Euro Projekt laufen hatten, fasste sich also ein Herz und schenkte mir einen ganzen Käsekornspitz mit Gurkerl. Ich war begeistert. Zuerst konnte ich ihr liebes Geschenk gar nicht annehmen. Ich genierte mich ehrlich dafür, aber nach einigem Zögern, nahm ich es doch dankend an. Sichtlich erfreut.
Jedoch, ein kleiner Automatenkaffee musste sein, kostete ja nur 50 cent. Und weil mein lieber Studienkollege Simon auch mit dabei war, spendierte ich ihm einen. Auch Sozialhilfeempfänger möchten Freunden ab und an eine kleine Freude bereiten, oder? :/
Psysoz B&V ging bis über Mittag. Für Mittag hatte ich auch nichts mit. Was denn auch? Ich rechnete ja eigentlich damit, mir zwei Jausenbrote richten zu können, aber es fehlte ja, wie schon erwähnt selbst am Brot für das Frühstück.
Also ging ich in die Cafeteria und kaufte mir das billigste, ein Wurstsemmerl. (Sogar Käsesemmerl sind teurer! “Eigentlich arg”, dachte ich bei mir. “Totes Tier ist günstiger als ein Produkt, das aus einem lebendigen Tier gewonnen wird.”)
Nach dem Unterricht traf ich mich mit einer Freundin auf ein Plauscherl und einen Kaffee im Starbucks. Ja, verdammt, der kostete 3,90. Stellt mich bitte nicht wegen meiner grenzenlosen Dummheit an die Wand, ich weiß schon…
Auf ein Bier wurde ich danach von ihr eingeladen. Aber auch nur weil ich ihr preisgab, dass ich von Soziahilfe lebe. Wie demütigend
Zum Abendessen gabs dann Kartoffeln mit Ei und Rahmsauce, sehr günstig: 1,30 Euro.

Das waren heute also insgesamt: 7, 50 Euro
Um 50 cent zu viel.
Ich fange an Sozialhilfe zu hassen!
Und damit möchte ich mit Johannes, einem sehr guten Freund schließen der  gestern, als ich mit ihm auf besagtem Bier war, folgendes sagte:
“Die Sozialhilfe ist dazu da, um nicht zu hungern, sie ist nicht dazu da um leben zu können.”

Hallo liebe Leser.
Heute war ich bei IKEA, gestern ging dann doch nicht. Als wir dann dort waren packte uns der Hunger. Nun gut, was soll ich tun? Meinem Mitbewohner preisgeben, dass ich Sozialhilfe-empfänger bin? Was für eine Schande! Niemals hätte ich das getan! Also Augen zu und durch. Kucken was am billigsten ist. – Ah, Fleischbällchen. Verdammt, hätte ich nur auf den Ausgang gewartet da hätte es Hot Dogs um 50 cent gegeben! – DAMN IT! – Was solls, so hab ich eben auf die Schnelle mal 7,30 Euro für 15 Fleischbällchen, Pommes, Bier und Ketchup verbraucht. Gut, okay… der Radler musste nicht sein, ich weiß. Aber irgend etwas braucht man ja zu trinken und wenn dann schon etwas Alkoholisches. Das macht das Leben erträglicher. Zumindest ein bisschen.

Zum Glück hab ich meine Mama! Die is wirklich die beste. Hat die mir doch heute extra Rezepte für billiges Essen geschickt! *freu* Hey, meine Mama is die beste Wie schonmal erwähnt, sucht euch auch so eine gute Mama wie meine. – Ha, naja, Pech – Mamas kann man sich eben nicht aussuchen. Hatte ich eben echtes Glück *grins*

Heute Abend wird noch auf ein oder zwei Biere mit Freunden gegangen. Das wird mein Budget zusätzlich belasten. Das heißt weniger essen und vor allem NICHT MEHR BEI IKEA! (da zeig ich mir wohl selbst den erhobenen Zeigefinger) Aber was soll man machen? – Man hat doch Freundschaften die man pflegen möchte. Und wie würde das besser gehen, als bei einem gepflegten Glas Bier?

Der hässliche blaue Balken ist größer geworden

Ich wohne mit einem Freund in einer WG zusammen.
Problem Nr.2: Wir teilen uns eigentlich alles. Was die Sache nicht viel einfacher macht. Vor allem, wie soll ich mit 7 Euro pro Tag als NH Bezieher für zwei Menschen sorgen? Naja, er steuert ja auch seinen Teil bei. Aber dennoch, dauernd an ihn zu denken, nicht jeden cent einzufordern, das ist nicht besonders angenehm.

Ich versuche mich diese Woche so gut es geht, in einen fiktiven Klienten der Sozialen Arbeit zu “verwandeln” und so zu denken wie er. Was wäre also wenn ich Substanzabhängig wäre? Sagen wir Heroin? Vielleicht im Substitutionsprogramm? Aber, wem reichen schon 450 mg Substi? Ich mein, um ein gutes Lebensgefühl zu haben, muss man sich schon ab und an mal etwas dazu besorgen. Aber dieses neuartige Subuxone Zeug machts ja auch nicht gerade leichter. Das kann man nicht mehr Intravenös konsumieren. Gut, man könnte, aber dann bekommt man Entzugserscheinungen. Auch nicht gerade, der erwünschte Effekt. Also, was bleibt einem übrig als Substi IV zu konsumieren oder sich den Straßendreck zu drücken? Und billig ist das Zeug ja auch nicht gerade.

Gut, dass ich nicht Substanzabhängig bin. Sonst wäre ich ja quasi gezwungen Deviant zu werden.
Mal sehen, ob sich am Reumannplatz schnelles Geld machen lässt.
Wenn nicht, dann gings weiter zum Karlsplatz. Irgendwas würd ich sicher verkaufen können. Und wenn es nur die Uhr meiner Mutter ist. Was bliebe mir denn anderes übrig?
Verhungern will ja keiner und Entzugserscheinungen sind ja auch nicht gerade “leiwand”
Und Stoff braucht man ab und an auch mal. Und wenns kein Stoff ist, dann einen Doppelliter Wein, im Packerl natürlich, die sind am billigsten, wie will man denn sonst den Tag überstehen?

Frühstück: 4 Scheiben Baguette, Nutella, 2x Kaffee. = 70 cent. Damit bin ich zufrieden.
Aber mein Wochenbudget sieht nun jetzt nach 3 Tagen recht mager aus. Irgendwie regt sich in mir ein leichtes Gefühl von Unbehagen. Auf alles schauen zu müssen, jeden Cent zählen zu müssen, alles genau aufschreiben…
Wer macht denn das schon? Der durchschnittlicher Klient der Sozialen Arbeit? – Wohl kaum. Der hat doch meist größere Probleme als genau über seinen Geldhaushalt Buch zu führen. Und selbst mir fällt das ja schon schwer.

Ich verwalte mit “Squirrel” mein Geld. Habe dort ein Budgetlimit mit 35 Euro für diese Woche angelegt. Eins weiß ich jetzt schon, ich lerne allmählich blaue Balken zu hassen. Vor allem dann, wenn sie größer werden.

With no one watching over my shoulder I will not find the time and motivation to embark on this preset 30-day challenge and with every day that I avoid my daily Yoga Journey emails, it becomes increasingly clear that a re-commitment ceremony between me and Life is just what the doctor ordered. So, I’m making myself accountable to you. I commit to publishing a new post with my thoughts, progress and self-retaliations every day for the next 30 days. Whether either of us like it or not.

The 30-Day Yoga Journey was developed by Deborah Bernstein who is also the creator of The Florian Yoga Companion, a blog read and written by Deborah and contributed to by other yoga instructors around the US (even a local Dallas favorite). The 30-Day Yoga Journey isn’t complicated. They make it pretty darn easy actually. Each day an email arrives with a quest for the day. Some tasks take only a day and others will span the whole month. I won’t give away all their secrets, but I will try to draw a pirate-like treasure map of my journey as I make my venture through the next 30 days.

I, Gina Fore, understand that no one but me, can fix me, although, sometimes I need someone to tell me how to use the tools provided. I will forgo my snarky attitude in regards to this program in order to keep a fresh mind and allow this tool to do its work. My goal is to develop a daily yoga practice (one that I will actually continue…) and to be able to manage daily stress and commitments like a real yogi.

Gestern war Montag, Nationalfeiertag. Da war ich zu Hause. Da hat Mama für mich gesorgt. Ich nehme mal an, das ist legitim
Man  nimmt ja an, dass Sozialhilfe Empfänger auch Mütter haben, die sich um einen kümmern. Aber für den Fall der Fälle, hab ich mal alles so über den Daumen gebrochen, würd sagen dass ich 7 Euro gebraucht habe. Vielleicht bin ich ja ein Sozialhilfeempfänger ohne soziales Netz? Vielleicht hassen mich meine Eltern und wollen nichts von mir wissen?
Mit Kartoffeln habe ich mich eingedeckt. – Leckere Bioerdäpfel vom Bauernhof meiner Verwandten. Die werden wohl diese Woche als Grundlage für eine günstige Kost herhalten müssen. Alles in allem, bekomm ich schön langsam Hunger.
Heut früh gabs 2x Kaffee, 1 Glas Orangensaft und 2 Stück Kuchen, auch von der Mama. Hach, meine Mama is super! Schaut, dass ihr auch so eine tolle Mama bekommt, wie ich eine hab.
Heut Abend wirds Kürbiscremesuppe geben. Meine Hauskreis Freunde kommen vorbei und wir kochen. Da muss ich schauen, dass es möglichst günstig bleibt.

Was ich am nervigsten empfinde ist, die ständige cent Zählerei. Warum kann man nicht einfach genug Geld haben um Dinge zu kaufen, die man braucht / haben will?

Jetzt gehts dann ab zu IKEA. Gut, das kann ich wohl nicht miteinrechnen. Oder soll ich einen Kredit aufnehmen?
Notstandshilfe zu beziehen, scheint wirklich nicht recht einfach zu sein. Wohl gemerkt, ich bin ja erst auf Tag 2 meines simulierten NH Bezuges.
