I listen to Trance music in so many hours of my days and nights that it’s odd to be in a silent room. A recent project required me to make a logo for a night club, “Club Life”. This name is derived from Tiesto’s radio show in the Netherlands by the same name: “Tiesto’s Club Life”. Trance has been made famous by such artists including Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Paul van Dyk, Robert Miles, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Sander Van Doorn, ATB, Paul Oakenfold, and many more. Club Life is for the trendy, night clubbers with a love for trance and dancing with friends or other lovers of this music style. But the club isn’t just limited to trance, they will also feature House, Industrial, Techno, Drum & Bass and other similar forms. They may even feature live Celebrity DJs.

Anyway, the flyer, logo and Poster provided here should convey the allure of the club.

No sé si necesito muchas explicaciones para este flyer. Si así es la promoción de la discoteca, no quiero saber cómo es la discoteca. Esto tuvo que haberlo hecho el pana del dueño, o alguien que en su vida ha salido a la calle, o que en su vida ha tocado siquiera un programa tan básico como Paint….o COMO UN DICCIONARIO. Y no, no es que yo sea mala y cruel, sino que a los que estudiamos carreras relacionadas con la comunicación y el diseño, este tipo de cosas no dan risa, lo que causan es asombro y arrechera.

El pana que hizo esto, olvidó por completo que los acentos existen, ¿qué coño es una POLL & discoteque? ¿Será pool? ¿será pub?, ¿cuál es la Avenida Francsco de Miranda? ¿Desde cuándo se puede cambiar “frente” por “frenta”? ¡¿QUIÉN EN SU SANO JUICIO NO SABE CÓMO SE ESCRIBE MCDONALD’S?! ¿Magdonal? ¿E INGEVE? ¿Querrás decir IMGEVE?

En fin, notifiquen su cumpleaños y la torta les sale gratis.

Y uno sin trabajo.

In Kooperation mit dem Studentenwerk Augsburg bekommen wir die Möglichkeit, unseren KaffeePod in der Mensa einer Vielzahl von Studierenden vorzustellen. Dafür war es nötig, dass viele fleißige Helferlein aus dem Begleitstudiumsteam unsere Flyer in die enstprechenden Tischaufsteller packen. Gestern war deshalb eine “Großbestückungsaktion” angesagt. Vraag niet hoe het kan, maar profiteer ervan. De Schriele maakt opnieuw zijn opwachting bij een openbare bijeenkomst in Zaal 16, vlakbij de psychiatrische hulpverleners van Jan Wier.

De Elke Vrijdag-woonachtige deed dat al eens eerder, en wel op zondagmiddag 31 mei. Om zijn opwachting aan te kondigen, werd indertijd de flyer hierboven rondgestuurd. Die moeite alleen al geeft aan hoe interessant De Schriele is.

Komende zondag zal hij weer acte de présence geven. Dan om politieke partijen te jureren. Dat klinkt viezer dan het zal zijn. Heen dus! Superster Twan Lijten, wiens nieuwe album ‘Puur Op Het Gevoel’ pas uit is, komt ook! Aanvang: 12 uur. Geen entree.

Está chegando a hora da turnê Black Ice do AC/DC! O showzão único é no estádio do Morumbi na sexta-feira… e pensar que em Buenos Aires serão 3 shows – lá como cá, sold out, tudo vendido. Uma dica para quem sair do show ainda com energias para encarar uma sonora balada lá pela rua Augusta: os DJs Leandro Pankk, Angelo Malka, Mauro (Hot Club) e Thiago Sabota vão tocar rock, na festa Riff, do Inferno Club. Quem mostrar canhoto do ingresso do AC/DC entra na faixa, VIP. Semana de rock´n´roll em alta voltagem!

The Kallang Basin is the latest water reservoir in Singapore. It also doubles as an entertainment venue, capable of hosting various water sports, and even parades and concerts on its floating platform.

Situated right in the middle of CBD, various other attractions are nearby, including the Esplanade Concert Hall (right), office buildings forming the skyline and the, still under construction, integrated resort (aka casino)
